The contrast between these two dances!! They both lead Angel in a dance but it's night and day:
Angel's Dance with Valentino
Angel doesn't have a choice in dancing with Val. It's purely for work
You see these moments of discomfort and worry but Angel quickly puts on a mask. It's choreographed and things are prettied up (just the environment and angel's outfit) it's very artificial all the way around for this spectacle/performance
Valentino isn’t just leading, but quite literally is dragging him on a chain
Val’s also not really dancing with Angel, it's closer to Angel doing a performance for Val's entertainment. There's no real connection between them beyond the chains
Angel's Dance with Husk
It's starts more as a small offer to dance, very old time-y gentleman at some formal dance kinda thing
It's this goofy, little spur of the moment kinda of thing just for them. The dancing is a little awkward and imperfect but they're having fun and just a nice moment together.
Husk gently guides Angel through the steps
Husk and him are on even footing, they're both hand in hand and are trying to go through the motions/steps together. This is the beginning of them forming a genuine connection

I've seen the ch4 closing argument tons of times but I just now realized:
Miu is drawn as a silhouette right before she was going to kill Kokichi with the hammer, but then in full colour when Gonta begins strangling her. She's depicted as the Blackened until Gonta forcibly changes the course of the story and her role in it.

People have praised Nosferatu, Renfield 2023, The Last Voyage Of The Demeter, The Hammer films, Pink's Dracula Ballet, Dracula A Comedy Of Terrors etc vs one or two who might have said they are not good because they diverge from the story, and it's not true that the latter is supposedly A Sweeping Phenomenon We Must Adress.
It's kinda odd to go "we must make a stand for hugely popular media that ultimately affects the public's perception of the characters against (checks notes) a few randos on tumblr.com" Most of the criticized media is for example why the general public thinks Dracula is about a girl having no agency because she loves hot rapey vamp bf due to destiny (which is why I never got into it at first), let's get a bit of a perspective here.

I think the professor is a hologram
- he looks slightly off
- there's a weird box with a lightning bolt that's connected to the theater frame
- the professor wouldn't let Ryan touch him
-there was no trophy, he didn't hold or hand it to anyone
- he physically glitched at one point
- AND when Ryan is looking at the article about the fossils, one of the suggested articles was this
As to why
- maybe it was programmed into the theater in case the professor died for some reason
- maybe it's actually is the professors soul as a hologram waiting for his new body to be done in that egg
- maybe killing the professor had some weird space-time altering effect the genie hadn't excepted and this is some weird "bandaid over a flesh wound" type solution
I have no idea but I have completed convinced myself of this idea in like 5 minutes so

Hear me out hear me out for one single second
Total drama x danganronpa, we’ve seen this before, unoriginal.
Have literally anybody but Cody be the main protagonist AND have Heather be the bait important character that dies in chapter 1 (which also subverts normal danganronpa plot lines as the bait doesn’t play a protagonist or deutragonist role, but an antagonist one) and have Duncan be the main antagonist. Cool, now we’re getting somewhere.
Mastermind Harold.
Think about it, if you were to take the danganronpa 1 route he could have his motive stem from his constant harassment and bullying and if you go the V3 meta route he’s almost perfect for the “super fan turned mastermind” role, only person who’d be better is probably sierra. He could be a mega fan of Chris who signs this super cool deal to guarantee that he goes far in total drama, and bam now he’s Chris’ associate and also the mastermind of the first ever televised killing game!

I don't ship Vox and Alastor but I adore the idea of it as this one-sided thing. Like Vox is, on some level, low key into Alastor. That his side of the rivaly, outside of the obvious old vs new debate they have, is kinda like that old, stupid stereotype of the asshole kid pulling on their crush's pigtails (as well as just being pissed off 'cause he got rejected) Meanwhile for Alastor, he just genuinely hates Vox and has fun messing with him

I think a lot about a post-game scenario where the v3 survivors have essentially been isekaied into a normal world where their lives as they remember them are entirely fiction, but also. Wouldn't it be fucking hysterical in a simulation post game where Tsumugi is the one who has been literally isekaied instead?
Hear me out, in ch6 when she's explaining how everything was scripted by team DR, including their talents and backstories, this is all because in her world Danganronpa WAS fiction. She somehow swapped places with the Tsumugi who was lying about it for the sake of despair. The end of the game happens and she *wakes up* and is now in a world where Danganronpa actually IS real and she's now at the mercy of the future foundation. All the characters she was obsessed with are real and they hate her guts. COULD YOU IMAGINE?
