i love watercolour

#what other medium is so forgiving..... nothing thats what.#also other paints stress me tf out because if you put too much on the palette thats it its wasted. but watercolour is kind you can use it #for years after it dries ❤️❤️❤️ and you can go back and remove a lot of the pigment with just water and blotting. very awesome i think #watercolour my one love...#the only thing about it is i wish watercolour paper was as diverse in size as canvas is. it's not hard to find giant and oddly shaped #canvases at surplus stores or whatever (shoutout to my local surplus store for selling a 6ftx4ft canvas for $25 ❤️) but watercolour paper is #just like. slightly different sized rectangles #obviously big watercolour paper exists but it is much harder to come by. and of course much more expensive #i haven't had this problem yet but like if i wanted to make a very large watercolour painting i would have to tape two pieces together lmfao #rambles

Lots of greens and whites! Still such a fun and cute lad with all his segmentation #Also finally cleaned up the Mercandy's amezaiku catfish design a bit - better fins!#It's a bit funny as well since Marshmallow Fluff originally had a mint colour palette as well until I simplified her design :P Things!#Wafer's largely unchanged tho ♪ Seeing them near each other I kinda wanna draw him and Sweet Pea playing now hehe ♥#Finally Taffy! Dresses that are nice but they're only made to fit you if you're 5'5 T____T

#tried on THE CUTEST dress in a medium but the waist was too high up and the skirt wasnt long enough #tried a large then and the waist was too big and the skirt STILL wasnt long enough!!#its the kind of style of dress that's supposed to cover like half your knees. and it didnt. blah #always the cutest dresses that are like long flowy and psychedelic that i like are like that #i did get a nice little green velvet victorian/swingin sixties jacket oh it was SUCH a success tho #i always have good luck with tops but dresses. ugh #i can only wear MINI dresses. bc a mini skirt is supposed to be short on you no matter what #medium-length dresses i have the worst luck with. im not even that tall im 5'7.#tales from diana #there's something weird about the black jeans from old navy #i bought two pairs of jeans at old navy in march of last year. the flare jeans are a size 4 and fit amazing #theyre like stretchy but not cheap and extremely comfy. theyre a typical denim blue #then i also got a straight-leg pair of black jeans. the black jean material is just not right anymore. it's extremely stiff #i know old navy mustve changed their sizes bc i have pants from them that are 5-10 years old (since i stopped growing)#and theyre all different sizes. like. i have old navy pants that are a snug 12 or a loose 4. but it was at least consistent at the time #i was trying on black flare jeans and i had to get an 8. i went in wearing THE SAME jeans i bought back in march #same CUT and everything. and even tho im tall the pants are still longer than what im used to #(im also used to my jeans being somewhat short on me) (so i dont mind it) (its more like they just cover the top of my foot)#the waist. bc i got two sizes up (old navy doesnt do odd number sizes for some reason). it like goes WAY up my waist #tho i dont mind that. im glad we're living in a high-waisted bootcut era. GRATEFUL #but still yeah.#the black jean fabric is just so stiff it's harder to squeeze yourself into even if it fits in the other color denim. u needa size up.#i went shopping w my friend (and kaily) (and our mom) (and then we went out to lunch after) bc i wanted to get her some pants #she's like 5'2 and all the pants were too long on her i felt bad. i bought her some sweaters and shoes #the sweaters were clearance only $6 i was like oh i have no problem getting those for u #still i felt bad bc they didnt have petite sizes in that store. like when she asked they were like 'no only if someone returns'#some other time we'll go to marshall's or tjmaxx >:F

#sorry for another rant yall #I love my sister dearly #and I hate being annoyed or upset with her for any reason #but she just ‘pranked’ me by telling me to order an XL fry at a fast food restaurant #she was on the phone with me #I said I kinda wanted a little bit of food with my ice cream #she told me ‘order the extra large fry’#I did because she said so #i didn’t know how large the XL would be #I thought it would just be a little bit more than usual #and really I just wanted a medium but I did as my sister said because thats what I do #but it was $10 instead of $5 like my regular order would have been #and it was WAYYY to much for me to eat #which would have been funnier if I wasn’t so sensitive #but there are several things my sister doesn’t understand #I weigh about 60 pounds more than her #when she orders something that is ‘family sized’ or XL they will assume she is sharing it with others #when I order something ‘family sized’ or XL they will assume im eating it all by myself #which is really fucking embarrassing for me #also #$10 for me is like $1.25 for her #she is so much more financial stable than I am #she is working a career job #she gets paid $30 and hour #and her and her husband rake in about six figures a year #I am working part time making $15 an hour. $10 is a lot for me #so I just lost $10 on something that i cant even eat #because I lost my appetite when I saw how much food it was #and she said ‘you can finish it! treat yourself! dont worry its okay to finish it!’#she doesn’t understand that if I ate all of that food I would hate my body for the next 8 weeks

in theory im very good at reading but in practice i cant read SHIT unless its in the perfect font with the perfect spacing so buying physical non-comic books is So difficult. why do online listings never put a picture of the page layout. i need to know how bad your paragraph spacing is. can i email my local bookstore and ask if they can take a pic of a page. is that allowed

#comics im mostly fine with (although ive realized i read some things like particularly manga easier than others)#(like if you tell me to read a superhero comic i'll die. mostly because of 'creative' font choices (whatever was going on in batman year 1))#(but comics with clear simple fonts and generous spacing between the text and the edges of the speech bubbles helps a lot)#(and a lot of translated manga is formatted that way so maybe thats why? just theorizing tho lol)#but with written novels im a MESS #i need large spacing around the text to the edge of the page (1.5-2cm in mass market paperbacks is okay but if a trade paperback doesnt have #at LEAST a inch or an inch and half around the text blocks i'll die irl)#i also need the font to be a good solid medium or smaller size so large print books are out for me #also the spacing between letters needs to be standard but the spacing between words and ESPECIALLY the spacing between paragraph breaks #needs to be a little bigger #USUALLY sans serif fonts are better for me but a good standard ass serif like times new roman works like as long as its clear and blocky #and the printing of the words needs to be CRISP like okay i wanted to read no longer human because of its influence #so i went to the store to check out the translated copies but then i was killed on impact when i saw how fuzzy and fucked up the text was #girl i cant read that. girl help.#AND LIKE the solution is obviously just reading more ebooks BUT I LIKE reading books physically 😔#easier to remember what books im reading and where i am in them that way jfklskfjdsa #sorry its just i love reading but my reading ability is mysterious and unpredictable HJKFLDSHJDKF #im trying to get a copy of phantom of the opera and im dying. not only are there 1000000 million translations. there is also...#100000 million different printings of the oldest public domain translation JFKLDSHJDKL:Ss #pray for me #luckily 99% of the books i read at least are from the library or borrowed from someone so i can check the font beforehand #but my library doesnt have everything RIP
