Solar Opposites in: Ultra Opposites Episode #15: “New Ultra Opposites Pt. 2” (by @avaveevo)
When we last saw our heroes, they escape the wrath from a furious Romelle. Now, the heroes landed on a foggy Rocky Mountain as they catch their breath
Jamie/Firey: What were you thinking? I mean, stealing the orb?!
Darcy/Miss Darcina: Yeah Chloe. We were supposed to earn Romelle’s trust, not steal from her!
Princess Chloe sighs.
Princess Chloe: sigh Look I am sorry. I didn’t have a choice okay?
Solar Flare starts flaring up.
Terry/Solar Flare: Are you nuts? What you did back there was out of line! I had no idea you would go this low!
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: Honey, calm down.
Princess Chloe: Well, I am doing the best I can, Solar Flare! Ugh! Sometimes I wonder why you’re all heroes in the first place! You’re all too useless and think about yourselves! How lazy can you all be anyway?!
Solar Flare snaps.
Terry/Solar Flare: Hey don’t talk about my family and my friends like that! Judging from the way you are acting, you’re the only princess who doesn’t trust us heroes!
Princess Chloe’s anger flares up.
Princess Chloe: WELL MAYBE WE WOULD’VE BEEN BETTER OFF WITHOUT FUCK UP HEROES LIKE YOU!
Solar Flare gasps and starts to tear up. The rest of the Ultra Opposites are shock, saddened, disgusted and furious over what Chloe said. Princess Chloe is shocked at what she said
Princess Chloe: Terry… I-
Solar Flare: I just can't be here right now...
Princess Chloe: But Terry, let me explain-
Solar Flare: JUST LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE!
Solar Flare then turns into his Mundane form and punches Princess Chloe to the floor as he runs off in tears without a word. Ms. Perez and the rest of the Ultra Opposites look at Chloe in disgust.
Korvo/The Legendary Super Shlorpian: What the fuck is the matter with you?!
Cherie/Agent Red: You heartless royal fuck! How could you?!
Nova/Lady Roseus: How could you say that about our friend?! And to us?!
Princess Chloe: Wait a minute! I can explain-
Yumyulack/Psylock: What is with you, your highness, don't take your anger out on us, we all stuck together because our newfound friendship and relationships really mattered, but I guess I was wrong...
Darcy/Miss Darcina: Yeah, look Chloe, you're a cool Princess and all... But that wasn't cool, your highness. That was totally out of line. You... You've become a cold person! All head and no heart!
Princess Chloe snaps.
Princess Chloe: Ugh! Look, just-
Ms. Perez slaps Chloe in the face as Chloe screams, much to the other Ultra Opposites’ surprise and Mia’s smitten.

Legendary Super Shlorpian slaps Princess Chloe in the face
Princess Chloe: Ow! What was that for?
Ms. Perez: For hurting my friend's feelings.
Princess Chloe: But they-
Ms. Perez: I don't wanna hear it, okay?! What is your problem, Princess?! You had no right to yell at Terry and the others like that! And you had no right to treat us like that too! You’ve changed! All you care about is yourself! And you know what? Terry’s right! You're not the same princess everyone know anymore, and Terry’s feelings are probably hurt now! So what are you now? her face turns into a sad look ...Certainly not the princess everyone knew and loved. But if you feel like you're better without heroes and friends, you can be alone all you want now…
Princess Chloe gasp in remorse.
Princess Chloe: Ultra Opposites, wait! Give me another chance! I-
Kevin/The Flamethrower: I think you've said enough already.
Yumyulack/Psylock: Yeah! Yeah princess, it's too late, the damage has already been done…
Everyone leaves. Electra gives the princess a cold look. Princess Chloe sighs. Later, Ms. Perez sighs as she looks up at the sky while Mia watches her.
Ms. Perez: takes a deep breath I just need to clear my head….
Mia: Ms. Perez?

After she finishes singing, Ms. Perez, or whoever is she is now, looks around her outfit in surprise and shock while Mia comes up to her.
Mia: Woah. You look...beautiful...
Ms. Perez blushes then the other Ultra Opposites came in while looking for Solar Flare.
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: Ladies! We need to find Solar…. Huh?
Miss Frankie/Shadow Lady: No way…
Ms. Perez laughs and does a twirl.
Jesse/Electra: Ms. Perez?
Korvo/The Legendary Super Shlorpian: What happened to you?!
Ms. Perez: Ms. Perez is gone. I'm Shout Out now!
Ms. Perez does her own superhero form as the other adults gasp in joy and then embrace her. Agent Red, Legendary Super Shlorpian, Master and Lady Roseus watch as they smile.
Jesse/Electra: Holy shit! One of our best teachers in the world is now one of us?! This is so cool!
Ms. Perez/Shout Out: Thanks
Janiz/Lady Super Shlorpian: We can celebrate later. Right now we have to find Terry!
Lady Super Shlorpian uses her super sense and hears Mundane Solar Flare sobbing.
Janiz/Lady Super Shlorpian: Oh dear… I found him… and he is so heartbroken…
Ms. Perez/Shout Out: Oh no… poor Terry…
Jesse/Electra: Oh no...

The rest of the Ultra Opposites finds Mundane Solar Flare lying down, curled up while sobbing in his arms as they go up to him in concern and sadness.

Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: Go away.
Super Shlorpian Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: Oh Terry.
Mundane Solar Flare looks at his friends and family in sadness as he continues sobbing.
Sherbet/Violet: Are you okay?
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: I’m sorry guys… Chloe is right… it’s all my fault…
Super Shlorpian Legendary Super Shlorpian gasps.
Cherie/Agent Red: Oh Terry.
Principal Cooke/Super Cooke: No…
Kevin/The Flamethrower: Don’t blame yourself…
Jesse/Electra: Yeah. You were just trying to help…

Mundane Solar Flare looks at his husband weeping while Super Shlorpian Legendary Super Shlorpian holds him and brings him close to him.

Mundane Solar Flare stops sobbing and hugs his husband while sighing lovingly.
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: You know, you're very warm, Korvy.
Miss Frankie/Shadow Lady: We’re sorry Chloe said that about us. But you are not a fuck up
Principal Cooke/Super Cooke: Yeah! You were the one who creates the Ultra Opposites and brought us together! I mean look at the past stuff you have done when you became Solar Flare!
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: Like what?!
Montez/The Master: You saved me from Ophelia and brought peace to the Wall that freed us!
Mundane Solar Flare thinks about when he first became Solar Flare.
Yumyulack/Psylock: You stood up to that evil empress when Jesse and I were in danger with brave courage
Miss Frankie/Shadow Lady: You helped show me the light!
Nova/Lady Roseus: You even stood up to pirate when Jesse was in danger!
Janiz/Lady Super Shlorpian: You even risk your life to save Korvo form Brian out of the love for him in your heart!
Daryl/Dark Matter: You were our inspiration Terry.
Mundane Solar Flare smiles.
Jaime/Firey: We believe in you dude.
Super Shlorpian Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: And Terry, we will never leave you. Ever. Because, we will always love you
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: cries with happiness Come here, Korvy!
The two superhero monster alien husbands kiss while the others hug him. Then, Mundane Solar Flare notice Shout Out
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: Ms. Perez?
Ms. Perez/Shout Out: Hey Terry.
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: You’re an Ultra Opposites now?
Ms. Perez/Shout Out: giggles Yep. What do you think?
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: You look great!
Ms. Perez/Shout Out: Thanks.
Then, the gang looks up at the sky in determination.
Ms. Perez/Shout Out: You guys, I don’t know about you but we got a town to save!
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: Let's kick some ass.
Miss Frankie/Shadow Lady: Fuck yeah! Mia, come with us! This is your chance
Mia: Really? You mean it?
Jesse/Electra: Of course!
Janice/Master Smasher: H’no I think you do great y’know!
Mia smiles tearfully.
Mia: hugs Mundane Solar Flare Thank you…
Mundane Solar Flare smiles and hugs back.
Super Shlorpian Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: Come on Ultra Opposites! Let’s go save our town!
And with that, the heroes take off to save the day while Super Shlorpian Legendary Super Shlorpian helps carry Mia. Back with Princess Chloe, she is sobbing over what she has done and said, as well as being mean to the Ultra Opposites.
Princess Chloe: tearfully What have I done? I ruined everything! There’s no chance to save the planets now… it’s all my fault…
Suddenly, Ophelia appears
Ophelia: Got ya!
Princess Chloe screams. Ophelia grabs the princess and traps her in the cage.
Ophelia: You’re mine now.
Princess Chloe: No no…
Back with the Ultra Opposites, Psylock looks at Lady Super Shlorpian.
Yumyulack/Psylock: Hey Aunt Janiz?
Janiz/Lady Super Shlorpian: Yes?
Yumyulack/Psylock: Since when did you receive your own suit?
Janiz/Lady Super Shlorpian: I honestly don’t know but…it feels nice to be able to have one.
Flashback shows Janiz looking out the window as she sees Terry leave to rescue Korvo. Suddenly, an icy pink orb piece makes its way as it merges with Janiz who wasn’t looking. As Janiz feels the sensation, she suddenly develop ice pink breath as she gasp. She then grows determined and leaves while the others follow her. The flashback ends as Janiz smiles.
Janiz/Lady Super Shlorpian: But I felt like something woke in me, like another orb piece
Lady Super Shlorpian wipes away a tears. Suddenly, a reference to the first Incredibles movie, Cherie gets a phone call from Pezlie’s babysitter.
Cherie/Agent Red: Hello?
Baby sister: voicemail Hi this is Amy. I want you to know that you baby is in good hands, she has special needs. I’m so glad you in that replacement and…
Cherie/Agent Red: Replacement?! I didn’t call for a replacement!
Sherbet/Violet: What’s wrong, Agent Red?
Cherie/Agent Red: It’s Pezile’s babysitter.
Montez/The Master: What did she say?
Cherie/Agent Red: Something about a replacement.
Agent Red then gasp. Later, the Ultra Opposites raced to Cherie’s house where they gasp upon seeing Pezlie held captive by Ophelia and Robo Korvo.
Cherie/Agent Red: Pezlie! No!
Solar Flare notices Robo Korvo.
Ophelia: Shh. The baby’s sleeping…
Terry/Solar Flare: Oh my god! You made an evil robotic version of my husband?! That’s fucking sick! Nobody messes with the Shlorpian I loved and married!
Legendary Super Shlorpian blushes.
Cherie/Agent Red: Give me back my daughter you bitch!
Ophelia: Make me.
Suddenly, Pezlie wakes up and starting crying as tears fall down her eyes, and suddenly, Ophelia’s skin burns as she screams and lets go of Pezlie. Lady Super Shlorpian then turns into her Super Shlorpian form and grabs Pezlie.
Super Shlorpian Janiz/Lady Super Shlorpian: Got ya!
Pezlie giggles but suddenly starts glowing tickle me pink as she coos. Then, after the glow fades, Pezlie received her own super suit as Agent Red catches her.
Cherie/Agent Red: Pezlie?
Pezlie/???: giggles Mama! Mama!
Terry/Solar Flare: Oh my God! She’s adorable!
Jesse/Electra: D’aw, an Ultra Opposites baby….
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: What should her superhero name be?
Cherie/Agent Red: How about La Oscuridad? Because, of her painful tears that burns people’s skin off?
Pezlie, now La Oscuridad, does her cute superhero baby pose as she giggles. Then, Ophelia wakes up and growls.
Jesse/Electra: That could work!
Ophelia: It’s too late Opposites! I have Princess Chloe locked up! Fight me and I will release her!
Terry/Solar Flare: Oh we fucking will!
As Ophelia and Robo Korvo flies off, the heroes nod at each other as they make a resolve.
Terry/Solar Flare: You know what? Sure Chloe made mistakes, but we should still forgive her!
Montez/The Master: I agree!
Principal Cooke/Super Cooke: I agree. Like Korvo said, heroes always make mistakes and get on each other’s nerves. But they always make up
Legendary Super Shlorpian smiles.
Darcy/Miss Darcina: Good point! It would be hard for a hero to give up anyway.
Miss Frankie/Shadow Lady: No one serves to be left out in the cold cruel world. Chloe may have hurted us, but we should still forgive her. Let’s go save her guys!
Jesse/Electra: Yay!
Rest of the Ultra Opposites: Alright! Let’s do this! Let’s go do the right thing! Let’s kick some fucking ass! We go this! Woo-hoo! We can do this guys! Yay!
Terry/Solar Flare: You did good, Korv.
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: Thanks dear. Now let’s go save the world!
We then cut to Ophelia’s fortress.
Ophelia: It’s too late Princess… I once had friendship… but I was turned away after I realized I was unfit to rule… let’s face it.. you abandoned them… you’re just like me… a princess… all alone… no power.. face it princess… friendship has failed you…
Princess Chloe: Why are you doing this?
Ophelia: For revenge. As here to the throne, I wouldn’t stand a chance. I knew I preferable of course but sadly that went to Sabine. Then I heard about the cosmic and decide to take it. But, then the four aliens beat me to it.
Cue the song Open Up Your Eyes:

Ophelia: It’s too late now… no heroes to help you… no queen to save you… face it princess… these heroes have failed you…
Terry/Solar Flare: Hold it right there!
Princess Chloe and Ophelia gasp upon seeing the Ultra Opposites and Mia.
Princess Chloe: Ultra Opposites!
Ophelia: And Perez?!
Ms. Perez/Shout Out: It’s Shout Out!
Ophelia: Oh, whatever! Robo Korvo, demolish them!
Robo Korvo nods and get into a fighting stance. The heroes nod at each other as they get ready to fight.
Terry/Solar Flare: eyes glow orange Let’s go!
Ophelia: What the?!
Solar Flare’s skin turns black as he grows muscular. He then grows bigger as his suits and boots rip apart into pieces. Finally, Solar Flare finishes turning into his Mundane form as he roars. Legendary Super Shlorpian blushes and grows horny because of Mundane Solar Flare.
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: Damn honey. You have so turned on right now…
Ms. Perez/Shout Out: Wow! I had no idea Terry can do that!
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: Aw, thanks babe.
Yumyulack/Psylock: What the fuck are we waiting here for?! Let’s go kick some ass! Guys, roll out!
All: Yeah!
The heroes then get into a big fight with Ophelia. Lady Roseus uses her gift powers that made confetti. Then, Miss Darcina pummels the guards with her strength while Super Shlorpian Lady Super Shlorpian uses her ice powers to slow the guards down
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: Good job, sis!
Super Shlorpian Janiz/Lady Super Shlorpian: Thanks bro! Agent Red, La Oscuridad, Flamethrower, Violet and Master! Now!
Cherie/Agent Red: You got it!
Agent Red uses her martial arts, that kicks the guards towards La Oscuridad who cries out her painful tears, then Flamethrower blows fire on the guards’ ass, Violet changes colors to confused the guards and kicks them to Master, who uses his psychotic powers to blast tjem away. Agent Red hugs La Oscuridad in joy!
Cherie/Agent Red: D’aw, Pezlie’s first bad guy!
Pezlie/La Oscuridad: giggling
Ophelia: Stop fucking sucking up to that kid!
Shadow Lady throws her weaponry at the guard as they duck but then got blast by the brai waves caused by Psylock and Dark Matter and then they kiss. The guards then got shoot by Super Cooke’s laser eyes. Firey uses his fire powers to burn the floor which made the guards fell as they get by Electra’s electric wrecking ball.
Jesse/Electra: You just got Electra’d!
Ultra Man and Master Smasher then combine their strength powers and throws a beak at the guards. Master Smasher gives Ultra Man a kiss on the cheek as he blushes. The guards then look up and see Shout Out standing near them.
Guard: Uh, what can she do?
Ms. Perez/Shout Out: This!
Shout Out uses her screaming powers that blast the guards away. But, Robo Korvo is still standing.
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: Bring it on you knock off!
Robo Korvo: Must eliminate.
Legendary Super Shlorpian turns into his Super Shlorpian form as he starts to fight with Robo Korvo. Mia then sees the keys and sneaks past Ophelia as she secretly grabs the keys and unlocks the cage Princess Chloe is in.
Mia: Hold on.
Princess Chloe: Thank you.
Suddenly, Ophelia shoots a ball at Mia, but Mia uses her new powers and shoots a beam that destroys Ophelia’s fireball.
Ophelia: Damn it!
Suddenly, Mia starts glowing neon green as it consumes her, as the light fades, a mysterious new hero appears.
Mia/???: Look out Ophelia! You just met… Shine Light!
Shout Out blushes. Mia, now an Ultra Opposites named Shine Light does her own pose as she smiles in joy.
Cherie/Agent Red: No way? Mia?! Is that you?!
Nova/Lady Roseus: You look amazing!
Mia/Shine Light: Thanks. So, Shout Out, what do ya think?
Ms. Perez/Shout Out: Wow, I think you’re amazing just the way you are. That’s why the neon green orb piece chose you because of your kindness towards others.
Shine Light giggles. Then the rest of the Ultra Opposites notices Legendary Super Shlorpian struggling to defeat Robo Korvo.
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: Shit! Korvo needs our help!
Mia/Shout Out: Say no more! Let’s help him guys! But first, Solar Flare, go help your husband before you give us the signal!
Mundane Solar Flare nods and runs up to help his husband, who is growing frustrated by his ice breath reflects off of Robo Korvo’s skin.
Robo Korvo: Face it! Ice powers inferior!
Super Shlorpian Legendary Super Shlorpian growls
Super Shlorpian Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: No. I am not giving up! You may be powerful than me, but at least I got friends and family to help me out! uses his super Shlorpian strength then enraged Robo Korvo who grabs him by the neck which starts enraging Legendary Super Shlorpian into going savage
Super Shlorpian Janiz/Lady Super Shlorpian: Oh no! Stay back! If a Shlorpian gets enraged enough, he or she goes savage!
Super Shlorpian Legendary Super Shlorpian roars loudly.
Jesse/Electra: Oh no! We have to help Korvo!
Mundane Solar Flare growls
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: How dare he makes my Korvy go savage! I got this!
Super Shlorpian Legendary Super Shlorpian snarls as his savage instincts take in.
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: Korvo, no!
Legendary Super Shlorpain snarls but luckily Psylock and Master manage to make Robo Korvo power down by destroying the brain piece in him as the others cheer. However Legendary Super Shlorpian is still going savage.
Super Shlorpian Janiz/Lady Super Shlorpain: Oh no! Korvo! We have to help him before he goes out of control!
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: Hey, Korvo?
Super Shlorpian Legendary Super Shlorpian snarls at Mundane Solar Flare, who begins to feel a connection to this as he remembers the time he lost control because of his fears of hurting Korvo. Then, Mundane Solar Flare, for the first time, will full control, know what to do now!
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: I got this.
Mundane Solar Flare bravely heads towards his Super Shlorpian husband and suddenly pummels him, but it was in a romantic embrace as Super Shlorpian L.S.S. shed tears of rage in his eyes. Mundane Solar Flare grabs his husband by the shoulders and gets ready to kiss him. Super Shlorpian Legendary Super Shlorpian then starts whimpering in tears as Mundane Solar Flare gasp and soothes his husband’s face.
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: It’s okay. It’s okay. Would a kiss make you feel better?

Back at the festival, it is back on the Queen is unpetrified, all is forgiven when Princess Chloe admit the truth over what happens, Romelle apologizes to our heroes. And best of all, peace has been restored for the four planets. Everyone is celebrating while the Ultra Opposites watch from below.

quiet reprieve
(a/n): for the annie x brady mota girlies, featuring annie bradshaw, john brady and a cameo from ken lemmons, and the women of Silver Bullets. enjoy!!
"It was pretty much a crap-shoot the second we got across the channel," Lieutenant Montez said, popping the cigarette off her lip and glancing towards Annie - clenched jaw, slightly blank stare forward, white-knuckled grip on her peak cap in her hands, her knee going a mile a minute.
It had been basically a complete, utter, mess from the second the plane was prepping to drop the bombs; Achterberg yelling over comms about some flak coming in at 3:00, Rybinski hollering from the ball turret about a faulty piece of the gun that needed checking, just as a spray of bullets penetrated from just below, with Carlisle yelling over all the noise her coordinates. It had felt like chaos. And it had been. Annie remembered her glancing towards Lieutenant Montez at one point and seeing her cold-stone stare somewhere lost in the flurry of clouds and graying smoke in front of them as a few chutes went out to their right.
"Lieutenant Bradshaw, any chutes from Son of a Gun?" Annie looked up from her daze and found the entirety of Silver Bullets, along with the interrogator staring at her. Sitting up a bit, shifting a bit uncomfortably, she cleared her throat and nodded.
"Yes, sir." she said, "All 10. We all counted. Confirmed it with Stagliano." Annie looked towards Stagliano who pulled the cigarette off her lips with a nod.
"All 10, sir," Stagliano said, the few scraps along her face from the rocking of the fort scattered on her cheek, "I wouldn't say Flying Colors was as lucky. Only 2 chutes." The interrogator seemed to let out a quiet sigh and made a few notes.
Gazing at the group of women was an even sadder affair than she was sure she could possibly handle; the drawn out looks on their faces, the exhaustion, the level of tiredness that lingered in their eyes, or the way they just seemed relieved to be on the ground.
Annie slowly looked over at the other tables - their crews dispersed about, members giving both distinct and scattered descriptions of whatever the hell had just happened. Through her exhausting eye search, she found her eyes caught on another pair of eyes that were intently caught on her own.
Captain Brady - the one that had hopped a ride with her and Major Egan as she had been shown the officers' club. He looked slightly different without the peak cap on, and his face looked more worn than it had a day or two ago, his hair sweaty and stuck a bit along his forehead, the stress-lines strewn against his forehead and cheeks. He almost was looking right through her it felt, like there was this being behind her, waiting to take her away, but she could tell that he could sense her there.
"I couldn't see much beneath me, sir," Rybinski said, her voice dry and monotone - much more dampened and sodden than she had ever been in the short time Annie had known her, "it was pretty much gray smoke from over the channel to dropping the bombs. German fighter came pretty damn close though, sir. Little too close for comfort."
"Flying Colors definitely was only 2 chutes, though," Ratcliff said, leaning forward against the table and lacing together her slightly soot-covered fingers from the metallic of the ammunition, a sigh escaping her lips as she cleared her throat, "can't say much else though, it went down in a ball of flame."
An awkward cough seemed to follow her words. Annie had seen Flying Colors go down in a rather quick matter. An engulfed ball of flame. Plummeting to the Earth.
A flying grave.
"Their chutes caught fire," Harlowe offered, "sir, the two men who jumped." Annie noticed Harlowe leaning back and shutting her eyes. What they saw, what they heard. It lived in them, it grew and fed off their fear, off the memories, of all of it. Annie watched as the interrogator crossed off Flying Colors with a quick flick of his pencil.
"How were flying conditions, Lieutenant Bradshaw?" the interrogator asked, "Ideal?" Annie looked up from her spot, meeting the interrogator's eyes, and slowly clenched her jaw a bit.
"Just fine." Annie said, "Flown in worse." The interrogator marked it down on the mandatory box for weather conditions, before placing down his pencil; the table grew relatively quiet, a few coughs, finger tapping and shifting of people in their gear.
"You're all dismissed," the interrogator said and Annie looked up from her white-knuckled grip on her peak cap, "get yourselves some food and rest." A few other tables were slowly moving about, getting their things and heading to the mess hall, clearing tables, folding maps and taking last minute sips of coffee previously handed out, all the sorts.
Annie shook the interrogator's hand, gave an attempt of a smile in his direction and then turned and headed outside, placing her peak cap on top of her head.
Stepping into the bright, rather warm sunlight was a world of difference from the inside of the interrogation room - the breeze was sweet, the sun bright and for a second, she almost had forgotten she'd been in the air not too long ago, one of the engines smoking, yelling over comms, bodies and planes falling from the sky in a smoldering array of death, the whizz of enemy fighters just outside of the fortress. It was unnerving.
"Lieutenant Bradshaw." Annie turned and found Captain Brady coming towards her, running a hand through his hair before adjusting the peak cap on his head and stopping just in front of her. Annie met his gaze and offered a quick salute and he nodded her off.
"What can I do for you, sir?" He watched her for a moment, his eyes seeming to hold onto hers as if looking away would suddenly shift the axis of the Earth.
"Was gonna go check on the fort," Brady said, nodding over to the tarmac where the ground crews were making quick work of some of the damage done, "lost a few engines while we were up there and want to make sure things are shaping up. Wondering if you wanted to come with. You look like you could use a step away from all this for a moment." Annie looked up at him and swallowed before nodding.
"Yes, sir," she said. He offered a bit of a smile - the corner of his lip turned up and for the moment, that was enough, especially after the hell of the day. The two started walking side by side, their uniforms still looking in a rather sorry state, but their gear was mostly removed and the breeze was beginning to wick the sweat from her forehead from the most part. It was quite beautiful when you forgot there was a war on, especially here at Thorpe Abbotts. The sky, the breeze, the green grass, the people all about.
"How'd it go up there for you all?" Brady asked her as they continued their leisurely walk forward, "And before you say anything, I must admit, that was the most relaxed I'd seen Lieutenant Montez coming back from a mission, even when today was a total shit-show." Annie looked up at him and noticed the slight quirk of his lips and smiled a bit and nodded.
"It went alright, sir," she said, "we lost a few engines, too, smoking, the whole-nine-yards. But, she did great up there. I'm lucky that she's my copilot."
"That you are." he said quietly, before glancing her way, clearing his throat, "I've been meaning to ask, what got you here?" She glanced at him and a slightly nervous laugh left his lips.
"A plane, sir." she said, the slight hint of a smile back onto her lips as she watched his gaze. The laugh that was playing at the edge of his lips slipped out and he looked to her again.
"I mean, what were you doing before you were here. What made you think - yeah, B-17s?" he asked and she chuckled quietly and crossed her arms and nodded.
"Originally, I was a translator, sir - German, French, some Russian….or well, it was a fair attempt at Russian, sir, can't say it ever went smoothly, but I was trying to just do that. Translating." she said with a nod and then glanced at him, "I was stationed at Fort Des Moines, and one of the women I was close with, got me a gig working on some of the planes - we had some B-17s there at some point. Started doing supply runs, started getting real comfortable. Eventually did so much with B-17s, that I got my license and then was training with a group in Texas. Then, I got the call." Brady watched her.
"And now," she said, smiling briefly, "I'm here, sir."
"I know the women are glad you're here," he said with a nod, "after everything with Birdie, I think you were what they needed." Annie watched him for a moment and nodded, her throat tight at the thought - the mental image yet again infiltrating her brain.
"Thank you, sir, I appreciate it." she said and Brady offered her a smile.
"It's the truth," he said, "you fit in well." Annie found herself unable to hide the grin and she nodded.
"And I know Major Egan is a big fan of yours," he said, a sideways look her way and she let out a laugh and shook her head.
"That's quite a stretch, sir," she said, "I think he didn't like the fact that I referenced him to be Cinderella at times." Brady laughed - had he always laughed like that? Because it was quite a nice sound.
"Well," Brady said, stopping and turning towards her, a small smile on his face, eyes soft in her own gaze, "I think it's kinda funny to see his feathers ruffled knowing you won't take any of his shit." Annie shrugged and stuffed her hands into her pockets and smiled.
"Ruffling feathers seems to be a party trick of mine, sir." she said, nodding at him, "I seem to bring it out when warranted."
"And with Major Egan, I can promise you, it's warranted." Brady said. Annie let out a small laugh and shook her head. She glanced over at Silver Bullets stood beautifully in the bright sunshine, noticing Lemmons and Wink there working away at one of the engines.
"Want to join me, sir?" she said nodding over to Silver Bullets, "Before heading to your fort?" Brady smirked a bit - smirked, yes that's right - and nodded.
"Lead the way, Lieutenant," he said, his voice lower than what it had been and she smiled slightly, before turning and moving towards the B-17 that she felt like she were slowly becoming both protective and maternal over.
"Hey, Lemmons," Annie called as she approached, Brady somewhere behind her - she could feel his eyes on her back, she just could at this point. Lemmons turned on the ladder in front of engine 3 and offered a wave, before saying something to Wink, and climbing down.
"Hey, Lieutenant," he said, reaching forward to shake her hand, before noticing Brady, "Captain."
"How's she looking?" Brady asked him, as Annie gazed up towards the cockpit of Silver Bullets, once filled with smoke and now still and silent.
"If only those engines hadn't gone," Annie said quietly and Lemmons smiled slightly.
"Well, I can promise you both she'll fix up just nicely," he said, "Wink's almost done with 3 and we'll be moving to 4 and then doing some refinishing, repainting - I'm rewiring something on Lieutenant Montez's side, that alright, ma'am."
"Of course." Annie said with a smile, "Whatever gets her in the air again." Lemmons smiled and readjusted his gaze to Brady.
"What's got you so concerned about Silver Bullets, sir?" Lemmons asked, "Your fort seems pretty much unscathed besides the engine so." Brady offered a slightly hesitant smile and glanced at a rather expectant Annie before looking back at Lemmons.
"Just wanted to make sure our replacement pilot has been getting what she needs, done," Brady said, "looks great, Lemmons." Annie caught Lemmons' eyes who raised a brow in her direction before turning away. Something shifted in her gut and she looked towards Brady, the sprinkle of red on his cheeks not just from the fact it was a little warmer than normal outside and she held back the grin.
"Well, sir, I can promise Silver Bullets is in good working condition, with an intelligent pilot to match," Lemmons said, looking up towards the berth of the wingspan, "I wouldn't worry too much. She flies like a beaut." Brady let out another one of his nervous sprinkles of laughter and nodded.
"I appreciate it, Lemmons."
"Don't you worry, sir," Annie said, looking up towards Brady, "Germans won't have a pot to piss in when she's back up and running again." Brady chuckled and then glanced at Lemmons.
"Your fort's coming along, by the way, sir," Lemmons said, "she's just over there, feel free to get a look at her and let me know if you need something else done. Otherwise, I'll finish up here, do your engines and move on."
"Alright, thank you," Brady said and then glanced at Annie at his side, "give me a few minutes, I'll be back." She nodded at him and watched as he took off around the side of Silver Bullets and disappeared. Lemmons glanced at her and chuckled.
"What's got him laughing so much?" Lemmons said and Annie glanced at him.
"What?" Lemmons came towards her, wiping his hands on a grease towel, smirk on his face.
"Captain Brady - giggling like a school girl, 'bout what? Never see him like that, usually got a sour look on his face." Lemmons said and Annie shrugged, crossing her arms.
"I don't know, probably trying to forget about the cluster fuck of a mission," Annie said honestly and Lemmons chuckled, throwing the towel over his shoulder and nodding.
"Right," he said, "that or the look on your face, ma'am. Either way, he's grinning like one of them Cheshire cats. Especially when he's around you." Annie watched as Lemmons smirked and then turned and walked away. Annie was positively sure her face was the color of the most ripened tomato you'd ever seen.

Adele's Ramsay Living for TS3
2 years ago, on a fateful evening, I decided to convert this set to TS3. Although this had already been converted, I had my reasons to do my own conversion. Long story short, there were things that I didn't like and things that I liked.
One thing that I liked in the previous conversion was the effort to make the table tops glass. So I experimented with the Basic Shower which is supposed to have frosted glass. I don't know why EA use horrible textures; when you replace the NormalMap with a proper frosted glass texture it looks amazing.
So, using this knowledge as a base, I worked on the frosted glass table tops and after countless failures, I finally managed to have the effect I wanted. The key is having the right values for UVSelector parameters in the shader.
I also changed the textures for the bottle; tried to recreate it as a multiplier. Then made another version. Bottles are semi-transparent glass and recolourable. Don't ask me how I made them - I don't remember. But I if have to guess, there is this tutorial that I know of. The first part is about recolourable glass.
I wasn't feeling Adele's art for the painting. So, I used the recolours made by @timeparadoxsims. The artist is @len-yan and the art is amazing. If any of them want me to remove the painting from my downloads, I will do so but cry inwardly. 😢
I know people hate reading and just want to download but THIS IS IMPORTANT: Several items share textures. So you need to have the 'masters' in your game for the 'slaves' to work. I will group them and explain further.

Can you talk about the misogyny and sexism in Remarried Empress I'm interested in your perspective.
Sure!
Remarried Empress is a story that pits Good Girl (Empress) against Bad Girl (Rashta). Why is Rashta bad? She's hated before she does any of her most evil deeds because of sexuality - she seduces the Empress' husband (even though he is the one betraying his wife and exploiting his mistress). Rashta is shown as two-faced and manipulative, presenting herself as childlike and cute in front of the Emperor but in reality trying to secure her own power, which is also condemned by the narrative.
I think woman-as-sexual-manipulator is a toxic sexist trope that falls apart when you think about why the woman is doing sexual manipulation to get her way: because she's not powerful enough to get what she wants any other way.
Why hate a woman for using the only way that society leaves open to her?
There's more nuance than that (although nuance is not what Remarried Empress has at all re: Rashta). Real life example - Lola Montez' relationship with a king lost him his throne and I don't think she was a particularly nice person. I don't think it's inherently bad/sexist to write this character archetype, but it's a lot better if you capture some of the nuance and end up with a more complicated/interesting character.
Also there's the slavery.
A counter example - the manhwa I Shall Master This Family also has a Bad Girl who's pretty one dimensional, the Empress. At least where I'm up to in the story, she's just evil and wants power for herself and her son. But, unlike Rashta, she's not a misogynistic stereotype of a villainess - her power comes from being a talented, ruthless businesswoman. She's pitted against heroine Florentia because both characters are capable but the Empress is more cruel, willing to hurt and abuse her husband's second son for her own benefit. And along the way the story gives Florentia a few female friends, not just writing a man's world where women are always pitted against women. So, even though this character is like Rashta in that she's evil without a lot of nuance, she's a great example of a female villain who isn't a misogynistic stereotype and contributes to a good story.

Good morning Amity Park, I'm your weatherman, Lance Thunder. Today's Sunday, March 12, and there’s a 90% chance of rain and a chance of snow. Highs are in the high thirties and lows are in the high twenties.
Vlad Masters’ new mansion in Madison Wisconsin was destroyed yesterday by the GIW after they were given a tip that ghost contraband was being hidden inside. No contraband was found, but the mansion is unsalvageable. If the GIW are now destroying the homes of powerful people like Masters, I’m afraid of what that means for the citizens of Amity Park.
In other news, Amity Park’s mayoral election is this upcoming Tuesday, March 14. This year’s candidates are the Current Mayor, Ernesto Montez, Raymond Byrne, and Eugene Thomas. The polls will be open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and will be located at 723 East Pearl Avenue.
The Fentons will likely be driving today so be careful on the roads.

The Justice Society of America is back! Starting November 2022, three new JSA books -- including an ongoing -- have been announced.
DC Comics has announced multiple projects with Geoff Johns, launching this November. That includes The New Golden Age #1 one-shot out November 8th, a new ongoing series Justice Society of America #1 starting November 22, and a six-issue series Stargirl: The Lost Children #1 launching November 15.

He’ll make witty remarks if uncomfortable or fearful or just to lighten the mood. Usually his sister will pat him on the head to straighten him up or calm him down.

Jesse transformed into Electra as she gets out her electric wrecking ball and growls in fury. Monica gaps in excitement.

Legendary Super Shlorpian throws Solar Flare. Solar Flare then turns finished transforming into his Mundane form as he rips apart his uniform and roars. Mundane Electra then sees Mundane Solar Flare and snarls at him.
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: Jesse. You're okay. Look at me.
Mundane Electra roars and prepares to throw another rock at Mundane Solar Flare as he gasp.
Principal Cooke/Super Cooke: Poor Terry. He dead.
But, Mundane Solar Flare kept being brave as he sees Mundane Electra snarling.
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: J-Jesse?
Mundane Electra is about to throw something at her dad. Mundane Electra roars and throws the rock at Mundane Solar Flare who punches it into little ash thanks to his fire powers as he roars. Mundane Solar Flare then grabs Mundane Electra and pin her to the ground while touching her face softly and stroking it. Mundane Jesse realizes what she did and sobs.
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: Shh. Oh Jesse-Bear. I’m so sorry Night Runner pushed you too far. This would’ve never happened if we had finally realize how truly crazy he is and still be there for you and then Monica would never be captured… you are not a monster… you are Jesse Opposites… a daughter… a sister… and a superhero… you’re our Electra and always will be. Please… come back to me Jesse-Bear…
Mundane Electra then breaks down in tears as tears fall down like waterfalls. Seeing how scared and overwhelmed his daughter is, Mundane Solar Flare embrace his daughter in a hug as he continues to sooth her and comfort his daughter.
Daryl/Dark Matter: Uh, babe? Are you crying?
Yumyulack/Psylock: shedding tears of joy Aaaww…
Principal Cooke/Super Cooke: Well, how about that?
Sonya/Soarin’ Girl: Oh sis… walks to Mundane Jesse/Electra with the rest of the Ultra Opposites and hugs her
Mundane Jesse/Electra turns back into her normal Shlorpian self as she continues crying in Solar Flare’s chest, after he turn back into his normal Shlorpian self.
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: We’re so sorry about all of this. You were trying to tell us how crazy Nicholas is, and we didn’t believe in you. We thought you were being mean to him when he tried to win you back. But we were wrong. He is an asshole.
Yumyulack/Psylock: We’re sorry. It’ll be okay. We’re gonna stop Night Runner. Once and for all.
Jesse/Electra: Thank you...
But, Jesse/Electra starts turning back into her Mundane form as she starts breathing in and out.
Terry/Solar Flare: Whoa. Easy honey. Just take deep breaths. This is your first time. Right now, let’s go stop Night Runner before he recaptures Monica!
Everyone: Yeah!
Jesse/Electra keeps taking deep breaths but her eyes are still glowing pink. Now, the Ultra Opposites manage to block Night Runner from escaping. Monica made it out but she starts glowing.
Cherie/Agent Red: Monica?
Korvo/The Legendary Super Shlorpian: What's going on???
Monica starts glowing and then she develops her own suit and mask as the glow disappears. Yumyulack/Psylock faints. Monica, now a superhero girl, lands shadowy on her feet as she grows amazed by her costume.
Monica/???: Woah!
Sonya/Soarin’ Girl: Wow! Another Ultra Opposites kid! Welcome aboard to our posse!
Monica/???: Call me...Acid Girl!
Monica, now going by Acid Girl, does her own superhero pose.
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: Welcome aboard Acid Girl!
Jesse/Electra squeals with happiness.
Monica/Acid Girl: What up Electra?!
The two superhero BFFs then hug.
Jesse/Electra: Oh I am so glad you’re okay! Now, let’s go kick Night Runner’s ass! Together!
Monica/Acid Girl nods.
Terry/Solar Flare: Acid Girl! Keep him busy!

Acid Girl then shoots acid from her hands towards Night Runner who dodges it. Luckily, Miss Darcina manage to punch him to the wall.

Monica/Acid Girl: Thanks Miss Darcina!
Jesse/Electra: Korvo, fly me up there!
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: Oh what for?!
Jesse/Electra: Imma poke him in the eye!
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: grins You go for it sweetheart!
Korvo transforms into his Super Shlorpian form and picks up Electra.
Terry/Solar Flare: Be careful sweetie!
But then, Night Runner grabs Soarin’ Girl as she screams.
Terry/Solar Flare: Okay! THAT'S IT!
Yumyulack/Psylock: Let go of my sister you bitch!
Solar Flare transforms into his Mundane form and roars.
Night Runner: gets out his weapon and threatens Soarin’ Girl Stay back Solar Flare or your pathetic little brat gets it!
Suddenly, Electra uses her wrecking ball to poke Night Runner in the eye. But he still holds on to Soarin’ Girl as she screams.
Cherie/Agent Red: Jesus Christ, Jesse!
Yumyulack/Psylock: Do something! He still got Sonya!
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: Oh, I'll fucking do something!
But then, Night Runner tried to harm Solar Flare, which made Electra enraged as she starts turning black again and her eyes kept glowing pink.
Korvo/The Legendary Super Shlorpian: Jesse?
Electra turns back into her Mundane form and roars as she lands near Night Runner to save her sister but is still losing her mind.
Sonya/Soarin’ Girl: shedding tears of joy Jesse…
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: Shit! Jesse, calm down, okay?
Mundane Electra then punches Night Runner that made him release Soarin’ Girl as she flies and then, Acid Girl smirks and uses her acid powers on Night Runner’s face as he screams.
Night Runner: You whore! You're better off as a man like you're supposed to be!
Monica/Acid Girl: That what you get for kidnapping me bitch! punches him with a powerful acid punch that knocks him out unconscious and I’ll never go be back to the person I was before! This is who I am now! And I love it!
Mundane Terry/Solar Flare: Wow! Nice punch! That really knocked him out!
But Mundane Electra is still kneeling down and growling like an animal as the rest of the Ultra Opposites as they gasp. Luckily, Soarin’ Girl embraces her sister with a cooldown hug, and it works. But Mundane Electra is crying.
Sonya/Soarin’ Girl: Aw it’s okay big sis. You did it. Your mean ex won’t bother you anymore. It’s okay.
Electra transforms back. She cries as Soarin’ Girl and Psylock comforts her, like good siblings. Then, the police arrived as they take Night Runner away finally.
Monica/Acid Girl: waving at Night Runner Good riddance, motherfucker!
Nicholas/Night Runner: Are we still on for a date, Jesse?!
Sonya/Soarin’ Girl: growls May I?
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: Oh fuck yeah! He deserved it after what he has done to your poor sister!
Sonya/Soarin' Girl punches Night Runner in the face. Night Runner then falls unconscious as the police puts him in the car while Soarin’ Girl prepares to call out to him as the police drives away with Night Runner. Then, Electra surprises Psylock by hugging him.
Sonya/Soarin’ Girl: calling out to Night Runner THAT’S FOR MESSING WITH MY SISTER AND HER BFF YOU BITCH!
Legendary Super Shlorpian surprises Soarin' Girl by hugging her.
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: Bravo S.G.! I am so proud for you!
Soarin' Girl smiles. Then, the Ultra Opposites family put their arms around Electra as she continues crying. Solar Flare, who has turned back into his Shlorpian form, kisses Electra on the forehead.
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: Oh. Our poor sweet girl. We’re so sorry about what happened today. All this pressure has really gotten to you lately.
Jesse/Electra: I know...but I'm happy my family's here for me.
Sonya/Soarin’ Girl: Thanks sis. And don’t worry, we’ll train you to control your newfound monster form.
Legendary Super Shlorpian then flirts with Solar Flare.
Korvo/Legendary Super Shlorpian: So, you wanna head home and do our thing later?
Terry/Solar Flare blushes as he smiles.
Terry/Solar Flare: giggles Sure, you big stud.
Legendary Super Shlorpian and Solar Flare then kiss while Psylock, Electra and Soarin’ Girl continue to hug each other while Acid Girl smiles with tears of joy, being touched by this heartwarming moment. The next day, Human Jesse and Monica are walking to school happily.
Human Jesse: Ready for another day at school bestie?
Monica: Hell yeah I am!
The two newfound BFFs giggles as they put each of their arm on their shoulder and walks to school as the scene fades to black.

-> replacement 1st lieutenant and pilot for Silver Bullets, fresh in from Fort Des Moines, trying to patch up the holes in a crew suffering from the loss of their beloved captain birdie faulkner. hailing from mankato, minnesota, she is a wonderfully receptive listener and stoic presence - but don't go overstepping it with her crew. makes it her very mission that the women of Silver Bullets and captain birdie faulkner are remembered. can play a tune on a trumpet (if warranted).
FRANCIS MONTEZ
-> copilot of Silver Bullets grieving a loss she is taking harder than she thought, wrapped in sorrow and guilt that she tries her best to hide. a good-hearted californian, she wrangles with this new era of her life with the help of replacement pilot, annie bradshaw, and steps up in more ways than one. carries a cigarette pack around like it's strapped to her very being. will give you a nickname that she'll call you any chance she gets.
BESSIE CARLISLE
-> navigator for Silver Bullets, with the brightest smile the sun's ever seen from the skies (says her boyfriend). hailed all the way from queens, new york with the intention to get her hands working on the mechanic floor of a factory and got a gig flying planes instead. got placed in navigation one day and ever since then, has made it her duty to make sure every mission goes right down to the degree.
CARRIE ACHTERBERG
-> german-american bombardier on Silver Bullets making sure the enemy pays in any way they can for the costly damage of a horrid war (enter: norden bombsight). grew up in brooklyn, new york, had some run-ins with bessie carlisle and the two became thick as thieves when working on planes. blowing the enemy to shreds seemed to be the cherry on top.
MARJORIE ‘MARGIE’ HARLOWE
-> flight engineer on Silver Bullets who grew up in a large family with at least four dogs all named after flowers, on the shores of lake michigan, wanting to go to school for physics ever since she felt herself get the knack for mathematics. only up until then, did she find herself on a plane with her cousin (who nearly crashed it) that she then got herself in line for flying in B-17s and looking to the skies above (and calculating vectors from the ground).
PAULINA STAGLIANO
-> italian-american radio operator for Silver Bullets, who came in from philadelphia, pennsylvania with radio operator experience in the WAC before getting the call for a job with captain birdie faulkner, and finding herself up in B-17s on the regular. she's passionate, a loyal friend and if you talk bad about the phillies -it's on sight (usually has sports arguments with kennedy farley - they keep bickering to a minimum).
VIVIAN RATCLIFF
-> hailing from fort collins, colorado, viv ratcliff comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience as a gunner on Silver Bullets, with a father who was in the army and her boyfriend in the navy. 'calm, cool, collected' are the best words to take her in as, usually found collecting flowers after missions for the boys who didn't get a chance to make it home. keeps a tally of german fighters that go down on the wooden pole beside her cot.
KENNEDY FARLEY
-> irish-american gunner on Silver Bullets, opposite viv ratcliff, coming in from boston, massachusetts, raging red sox fan with a family of brothers going on to military or sports (much of the same). close friends with margie harlow because she 'softens her up a bit', and always willing to stick around for a drinking game or two. passionate friend (margie told you so).
JUDY RYBINSKI
-> polish-american farm girl and turret ball gunner for Silver Bullets from hot springs, north carolina, growing up near the french broad creek, summers spent on the river, catching fish and milking goats for her families business. went hunting with dad a few times, and grew up with her older brothers going off to the military or college and wanted a hand at it all. captain faulkner was her opening (and the person she needs most now).
MARIANNE SALINGER
-> french-american aspiring painter from rochester, new york, now a tail gunner for Silver Bullets. thought she was signing up to paint planes, but ended up finding a knack for guns on turrets and credits captain faulkner for her 'in' on flying. has a pet cat that roams the base as he wishes (he's named frank, after her one true love, frank sinatra), usually getting into trouble by pissing off a husky named meatball.
