Anyone else HATE making molds? Is it just me? I think it’s so much work and so stressful :’) And i haven’t found the perfect silicone yet which adds to the frustration (needs to be really firm but also longlasting so i do’t have to remake the molds all the time). But as you can see, the two lads are getting ready. The wood sticks on Neighbor’s feet will be air vents and for Wegg i’ll have to do a 3 piece mold which is EVEN WORSE.
I don’t know where i learned to make the walls out of legos btw but it’s not my idea. It’s certainly the most enjoyable part of all of this for sure tho

These four Louis XVI style rooms were removed from the Hôtel de Breteuil before it was demolished in 1923 and were reassembled at the Musée Carnavalet in Paris. The mansion was built in the late 18th century by a master carpenter named Jacques Millet. It later became the home of Viscount Claude-Stanislas Le Tonnelier de Breteuil who gave it his name. The furniture displayed in the rooms is from the same period.

Etwas zu unrecht vernachässigte ältere Figuren, die es noch einmal so richtig verdient haben.
Die Form ist von 2018 und war gedacht für ein "Secret Santa Event". Abgießen funktioniert natürlich noch prächtig!
Jetzt weiß ich wieder, weshalb ich mich etwas gedrückt habe ... das Anmalen dauert ewig!
Aber ich habe es durchgezogen!

Casting form of plastics in the body
(Work in progress)
The image of plastics in breast milk has been soldered to my mind unwillingly .So I decided I wanted to create that visual of plastic in the body.
I began with the idea of a resin figure that contains plastic that I collect from the sea, but I soon came to learn that resin would contradict my concept as it’s terrible for the environment and health. So after talking to a tutor, Mary , I decided I want to experiment with different mediums to hold the shape of the figure and the plastic materials inside , such as ice or gelatine.
Today I started off with the object I want to mold, it’s nothing fancy , but conveys the idea of discomfort and the visual of the chest is an ode to the article.
