I know it's definitely not something you have to worry about yet, but definitely check on your underboob stitches once in a while! One of my roommate got a reduction while I was living with her, and she said her stitches were the type that were supposed to pop off on their own. During that stage, one of her underboob stitches outstayed their welcome and the area ended up getting inflamed, very close to infection. May your recovery be swift and absolutely (if not, mostly) trouble-free!!

I'm going to be keeping a very close eye on them!!! I don't have much of a choice but to be well acquainted with the incisions, I've been instructed to apply a Bespoke Cream to them twice a day

#I am def worried about something going wrong and splitting a seam or getting an infection #but I am basically just following the instructions they gave me like. AS CLOSELY as possible #I've got one cream for early healing / protecting the moisture barrier or whatev and then at week 5 #I have a scar cream I get to use. and then they said something about silicone tape #very much hoping I don't have to contend w too much inflammation!!!!#sergle answers

had a nosebleed that lasted 40 minutes recently. i'm not new to nosebleeds but i think a stream like a faucet that soaks through the tissues in less than 20 seconds might be a new one. it started up again less than a day later. anyway the lower half of my face is peeling off and i look like a lobster and i'm developing joker lips and my eyes are bloodshot and my neck hurts and my eczema has crawled to my elbow my ears are flaking right now and a healed piercing started bleeding and i literally cannot keep up with all the side effects

shout out to accutane, which i think is like chemo-lite in terms of absolutely wrecking your body on purpose. evil pills. on the bright side my scalp does not produce oil and i haven't needed to use shampoo in a week

#blood tw #i put this off for yeaaaars and i feel validated in doing so #well. another 5-ish months to go #i've had to buy so much shit #i've gone through three tubes of aquaphor for my lips #bought like 3 new bottle of eczema cream to ensure i always have one near me #heavy duty moisturizer for my face (and i think twice a day isn't enough anymore)#i couldn't stand the feeling of body lotion so i got shower oil and now i slather myself in oil every morning #i knew what i was getting into but i was unlucky with the side effects #6 months of this and then maybe i'll stop having painful cysts on my face all the time. maybe. hopefully.

i have acquired a mystical and powerful ointment (hydrocortisone cream) from the village herbalist (rite aid) to assist with the curse set upon my bloodline from many generations ago (eczema)

#feel free to reblog #ironically this is the one thing i know the least about and it's the one i've known about for sure for the longest #never seen a doctor for it (everything online says you probably should) because my parents never took me #they told me that's what it was because that's what my dad had and it looked close enough #they also said i'd grow out of it like my dad did (just as he was growing back into it hmmmmm)#so i'm not like shocked that this is cropped up again i'm mostly like. annoyed? and sad.#i'm annoyed because like - they treated it so casually it was a non issue #get some anti-itch cream moisturize etc #and be quiet about it until it goes away #so it came back every now and then and i stopped telling them i was getting flare ups i'd just get into dad's cortizone and put some on #until it went away #there was never like a plan or a regimine in place for how to deal with it #dad's whole routine was preventative (lots and lots of baby oil) with the steroid cream you pick up at the pharmacy if there was a flare #and i didn't even know when he'd get a flare because it never got brought up - so i didn't know to look for patterns or anything #and now it's hitting me and has been for probably longer than i realized and i'm just like #*how do i take care of this???* *why is it not going away???*#and like yes i absolutely should also still see a doctor about it just to like.
