Probably Internet is completely shut down.
I hope all are alive and well.
Again, I will share the Names of people who were announced to be sentenced to Death, but were not at that time.
Mohsen Shekari was the first protestor to be executed today.
His name must NOT go unmentioned. If the government realizes they can execute people under the world's nose, they will do it by the thousands. Please spread the word. Say his name. We must not allow them to senselessly kill our people.
These are also the names of eight people who are set to be executed. For killing one armed basiji who would've killed tens of people and injured hundreds had he remained alive. We must be their voices.
5 young people in their early 20s, children who have barely stepped into adulthood, were sentenced to execution by the murderer regime of Islamic Republic.
They were sentenced without a fair trial, stripped away from their basic human rights.
The first of the five, 23 years old Mohsen Shekari, was executed yesterday.
This is a terrifying event. The regime seeks to make an example out of these innocent people and to scare everyone to stop protesting.
Please, don't let them get away with it. Together we can stop these executions. All it takes is spreading the word, saying their names, letting Islamic Republic know that we know and we won't let them silence this, we won't let them suffocate the people.
Sepia photo of Mohammad Mehdi Karami with the quote: “Father, they sentenced us and I received the death sentence. Don't tell mother.”
Multiple people in Iran have been sentenced to death after sham trials and torture and others have already been executed. Circulating their names on Twitter and social media is one way to show Iran’s leaders that people are still watching internationally, condemning these executions and pushing their own leaders for change.
Please read this article to better understand the sham trials taking place in Iran, to understand its cruelty and inhumanity. Mohsen Shekari, Majidreza Rahnavard, Mohammad Mehdi Karami and Mohammad Hosseini should all be alive today but for these sham trials. We will never forget, we will never forgive.
The first official execution of 23 year old Mohsen Shekari, has now taken place in Iran. Not the first execution, as they have been happening for a long time with zero repercussions or accountability. Now another man, 20 year old Ali Moazemi Goudarzi is set to be executed soon. We might be able to save him by spreading awareness and saying his name so say his name!
The discussion about morality police is over and done with, everyone knows now that it was a trick. What we need to pay attention to now is Mohsen Shekari and everyone who is about to be executed simply for protesting. Believe it or not, letting the world know about them can help lighten their sentences. So please do everything that you can.
