An AU where the Tree of Harmony once existed, it was not around when the sisters found the cave it was in. Only finding the Elements of Harmony alone within the cave. The elements of harmony are seeds, no one realizing this until much later. Each of the Elements of Harmony finding their way into a particular place in Equestria and becoming it's very own tree.

Optional addition: I like the idea of the Element of Honesty being found and planted by one of the Apple family on their farm. I also like the idea of Twilight having the Element of magic as a good luck charm her entire life and it being planted last during the encounter with Nightmare Moon.

Friendly reminder that in The Return of Harmony Part 1 Fluttershy is the ONLY ONE to resist Discord’s tricks and he has to just give up and forcefully corrupt her because her kindness is so strong and boundless that he can’t get to her

It feels like I've been working on this literally forever now haha. Anyone who’s been following me since my Deviantart days might know who this character is, but for those who don’t, she’s a My Little Pony OC I made back in 2013 based off the Tree of Harmony from the G4 cartoon. I’ve had these sketches sitting on my computer for way too long and finally decided to push myself and finish this “ultimate ref sheet” for her while adding in some minor design updates. Took the time to rewrite her backstory info listed below. Please check it out if you’ve got a moment! This character means a lot to me and one day soon I plan on trying to animate her. :)

________________________________________________________ ✨ Harmony is the Tree of Harmony in mind, body and soul. ✨ Brought into existence as a magic sapling by the Pillars of Equestria before they sealed themselves away with the Pony of Shadows, the Tree of Harmony has been the silent protector of Equestria for thousands of years. Over time, artifacts grown from her branches called the Elements of Harmony were discovered by the royal sisters Princess Luna and Princess Celestia and used to battle many foes threatening the world with evil ambitions and dark magic. Years passed since the events of Discord being sealed away by the elements along with the banishment of Nightmare Moon, and for a time the elements laid dormant and mostly forgotten about. These powerful artifacts would eventually find their way into the hooves of the modern day Mane 6 as the current bearers and defenders of the realm with renewed purpose. However, the more the elements were used, the more of a magical imprint was left on them from their wielders when returned back to the Tree time and time again. The magic of these ponies’ friendships paired with their strong unique personalities ended up being a powerful catalyst, granting the Tree not only sentience, but a will to live and grow beyond her crystal body rooted to the ground. No longer content as merely an observer and guiding hoof for Equestria, the Tree crafted herself a new form to mimic the very beings that shared with her their love, care and adoration for the realm they protected against the darkness. Thus the Tree of Harmony became known as the living spirit “Harmony” ________________________________________________________ ✨ List of general information about Harmony ✨

- Her design elements are based off of more traditional unicorns with a long lion like tail, unshorn fetlocks, and split hooves. Her horn also mimics the branch shapes on the Tree of Harmony. - Her hooves and headband are made entirely out of crystal, just like the Tree itself was. If either gets chipped or cracked, she can repair it fairly easily. - Her hair flowers can be gifted to others if she so wishes. They grow back quickly when removed. They’re also magical and won’t wilt unless drained of magic. Flowers sometimes grow on the ground trailing behind her too. - She’s quite tall and sometimes forgets that when interacting with others. This can lead to some very funny, but awkward moments. - She gives great hugs, though she has to be mindful of her own size and strength when doing so. - She cannot leave the Everfree forest unless part of her magic remains behind so that the forest doesn’t grow out of control. (Can be either the Elements of Harmony left in her place or half of her natural magic in the form of a sapling) - Twilight and Spike were the first ones to find her when she created her new equine form. It was quite shocking to say the least seeing the Tree of Harmony moving around and talking to them. - She doesn’t understand social cues at first and relies on mimicking bits and pieces of the Mane 6′s personalities. But she’s still openly friendly and curious about the world around her. - She’s extremely protective of the Mane 6 on an instinctual level and will directly challenge a perceived threat to them unless talked down. - The Pillars of Equestria are basically her parents since their elements made her. She’s very fond and protective of them as well once they return from being trapped in limbo with the Pony of Shadows. - When using strong magic, her eyes glow light blue with whited out pupils. It’s a little unsettling and intimidating to look at. - Her magic is definitely a bit OP, but her full power is limited to the Everfree forest for the time being. Regardless, she has the advantage on her home turf if the need ever arises to defend herself or others. - She is however susceptible to different types of dark magic if her body is injured badly enough. No one knows what would happen if Harmony was ever corrupted by dark magic and they’d rather not find out ever. - The creation of her new form takes place sometime between season 5 and season 7 before the Pillars return, but after Tirek is defeated by the Mane 6.

A younger Scorpan and Star Swirl.

Headcanons about Scorpan:

Scorpan was Star Swirl's first real friend!

Despite being bigger than them (and most ponies) Scorpan is younger than the Pillars.

After Tirek's imprisonment, Scorpan had returned home to tell his parents the news. But after that, he had returned to Equestria. By the time Scorpan came back, Stygian had already brought the Pillars together to defeat the Sirens, so Scorpan wasn't around for that. Scorpan reunited with Star Swirl and became friends with the other Pillars.

Scorpan helped the Pillars create the seed that would become the Tree of Harmony, but asked Star Swirl not to record his involvement (for unknown reasons).

After the Pillars sacrificed themselves to defeat the Pony of Shadows, Scorpan returned to his homeland once again.

Scorpan had found Spike's egg by itself in the middle of nowhere, and decided to take it with him. Scorpan decided to give it to Star Swirl, who gave it to Celestia and Luna. This is a reference to Generation 1 obviously.

The same way the Mane 6 got their elements from the Pillars, Spike got his element from Scorpan.

Scorpan's friendship with Stygian is similar to Spike's friendship with Starlight Glimmer.

Years after the Tree of Harmony grew, Scorpan returned to Equestria to take a branch from the Tree, and created the Staff of Sacanas.

i need to fully watch s9 of mlp fim honestly but oh god do i not like the tone of that season. everything feels off and...cynical?? if that makes sense??? at least the finale's song is great and feels genuine but bleh.

also twilight becoming equestria's sole princess is stupid as hell lol sorry. she clearly did not want to do it but her friends brushed her off with "oh there she goes twilight-ing again *eyeroll*" no you assholes she is clearly refusing consent LISTEN TO HER???

An AU where the Alicorn amulet was created as a hopeful solution to raising the sun and moon before Celestia and Luna ascended into the role. While the amulet proved to possibly be powerful enough, it corrupted anyone who wore it. Originally created by Sombra, who had no problem with using dark or Light magic to achieve the goal that he was tasked to achieve. They came to him with the favor of making a trinket powerful enough to move the heavens. He achieved their goal for them, they didn't tell him how they wanted it done. An amulet that makes a mortal as strong as a deity, that kind of power has a price no matter what kind of magic he uses. Light and dark magic both don't choose sides. Sombra however doesn't mind using either light or dark magic to make cursed artifacts, he finds it fun to complete someone's task in a twisted manner. He could have just told them their task was impossible, but why lie to them? Why not show them the truth of a mortal holding a deities power.

Optional addition-

A swap of Discord and Sombras places/roles. Sombra being a Chaos magic mage that played twisted tricks on Equestria with his magic by pretending to be merely a mage with a talent for creating enchanted amulets and trinkets. Sombra being imprisoned in an enchanted trinket/amulet of his own as an ironic jab at him by the elements of harmony. Perhaps even the Alicorn amulet itself, his masterpiece of an amulet to cause so much chaos. Now his prison.

Discord being a spirit of shadow and ice that completely took over the Crystal Empire and took the Empire with him when being imprisoned in solid ice statues.

My Little Pony/CPC AU! What elements would the Princes and Princesses have?

Kindness: Gwen obviously

Honest: Frederick because of how brutally honest and sassy he is!🤭

Generosity: Blaine(when he’s not being manipulated by Leland) i imagine Blaine being a really generous guy.

Loyalty: It was a tie between Lorena and Lance because both are very loyal to there family and friends. But I feel like Lorena should get this element…Why?

Laughter: Because we all know Lance is the jokester of the family and this element fits him the most.

Magic: Maria…because Maria represented all five elements at some point

Kindness: for her family and Blaine(That one moment she said that she’s rooting for him and not his perfection)

Honesty: And though I hate to say this but at the gala Blaine really was showing his ‘truly ugly side’

Generosity: Offering her dress to Gwen after the opossum and rat are hers.

Loyal: Not wanting to marry someone who makes her sister feel less than important.

Laughter: (honestly her dirty thoughts and crazy antics (convincing the fan club to interrupt a piano contest just to cheer up Blaine) alone are enough to get us laughing.

And finally is Sunset Shimmer’s element is redemption that one will go to Suzie it could also be Blaine’s element. But I want Suzie to be their Sunset Shimmer.

And yes guys I know her element was later specified to be empathy. But when she first ponied up I assumed her element to be Redemption.

Plus this could also work for Suzie as she can be extremely rude because she’s so full of herself as we’ve seen in the flashback cause her a bit of a problem with someone threatening her because she had no empathy for them. So gaining the element of empathy can be a good character growth. Though she would still be full of herself she just won’t be as rude about it.

(Then again Jamie could be empathy as his powers aside from some kind of light manipulation. He can taste the feeling of others through their food…or really anything they make that he puts in his mouth.)
