Anyway I just remembered that this exists, went to read it, link was broken but I thankfully found it on the internet archive and figured I'd post it here also.
Iris Explains is an Iris Wildthyme short originally written for charity anthology. It is set during the EDAs Earth Arc (specifically Father Time) and very fun. The link is below if you want to read it there (or download the pdf that link works within the archives capture)

The Pre-War Era
Defined by the early years of The Eighth Doctor after the events of the TV Movie. This era builds up to The War (a conflict against an unnamed Enemy wishing to replace the Time Lords; the conflict also coming to be known as The Second War in Heaven). The War also overlaps with this era due to the nature of the conflict. This ends with.. I dunno, man. The devastation of Gallifrey? The Battle of Dronid? THIS ERA ENDS, ALRIGHT? SOMEHOW THIS BLOODY WAR BEGINS!

Post-War Era
Defined by The Eighth Doctor wandering the Earth for 107 years after destroying Gallifrey at the “end” of The War (adopting a daughter by the name of Miranda Dawkins after the death of an Emperor from the far-future who may or may not be his future self), continued travels in time and space with many companions after reuniting with Fitz Kreiner, getting married, losing his heart, and much more. This era ends after The Doctor restores Gallifrey via the use of The Matrix which has laid dormant in his subconcious since the planet’s former destruction (oh I forgot to mention, The Eighth Doctor lost his memory... but like... he always does that)

The mere existence of the Patience (The Doctor’s wife/Partner) is mindboggling to me?? Because she is barely mentionned or have content about her, which is sad but so is the whole Doctor family (ignoring the Lungbarrow part THANK YOU FOR THE CONTENT BOOK).  Second it does paint into a really soap opera light, the different relationship the Doctor has thorough his life.
The Doctor: I’m going on exile with our granddaughter bc she will hunted down otherwise. Patience: okay dear don’t forget about me. The Master hearing he now have a chance to settle this childhood crush: ME TOO IM GOING ON EXILE;
The Doctor already forgetting everyone the second they leave their sight: Oh no I’m alone now forever and ever.

Random Doctor Who Facts You Might Not Know, Part 3
The Master's father, Marnal, wrote an episode for Star Trek but took his name off it after they changed it too much.
The Fifth Doctor took Tegan back and time to kill that same would-be-dictator as a baby but was also unable to go through with it.
Nyssa once turned the Fifth Doctor into a vampire.
The Time Lords created the Were Lords, a species of lycanthropic soldiers who could regenerate, to fight for them in the Vampire Wars.
The Tenth and Fourteenth Doctors have different enough blood that the Fourteenth Doctor was able to resist blood control that used the Tenth Doctor's blood.
The Garvond is a monstrous entity in the APC Net of the Matrix composed of all the demented, evil sides of the Time Lords.
The First Great Time War was between the Time Lords and the Order of the Black Sun.
The Veil was fond of the Twelfth Doctor and considered them to be companions. The Veil hoped that the Twelfth Doctor would take them with him when he escaped from the confession dial.
Jack Harkness described the Midnight entity as someone who could eat its way into a person's brain and steal their voice. Given that it is unknown where he got this information, this suggests that Jack might have had an encounter at some point.
Both the Doctor and the Master have used the name "Merlin" before.
The final incarnation of the Master was a highly destructive entropy wave in one timeline.
The Eleventh Doctor once returned to the Library with Amy Pond, but he never mentioned River Song. They encountered Book Monsters.
The Doctor's first TARDIS was a Type 50, but they were left behind when the Doctor ran away from Gallifrey. This left them angry and hurt that the Doctor had replaced them, so they ran off from Gallifrey to find him.
According to the Seventh Doctor, the Rani and her giant rodent came to his graduation party.
There exists a canned drink called Sontaran Up that a Sontaran was seen drinking.
The Sixth Doctor's method for fighting the Weeping Angels included winking one eye at a time, so the Angels were always being observed. Given that he was almost immediately sent back in time where he encountered the Tenth Doctor, this isn't a very good method.
Due to similarities between the life stories of the Doctor and the Devil, there are many races who believe they are the same being.
The Thirteenth Doctor, Yaz, and Dan once watched a production of Cinderella. While trying to make it more exciting, the Doctor accidentally replaced all the characters and props with the real versions, who began to attack each other and the audience.
The Doctor had thirteen children before running away on Gallifrey who were all killed (or perhaps a better word would be 'culled') by the Watch after Susan's birth.
The Doctor has had other children over the years (although they did not recognize all of them as such) including but not limited to Miranda Dawkins, Edward Grove, the Sound Creature, Daqar Keep, Jenny, and the Sapling.
Gostak was one of the First Doctor's tutors who he admired very much, but similar to Borusa, he went mad and had to be stopped by several incarnations of the Doctor.

For all I’ve gone on about the Eighth Doctor and Miranda having other adventures crammed impossibly into the gaps and pages of Father Time (The Gallifrey Chronicles’ interlude, The School of Doom, Iris Explains), I’m embarrassed that I just now realized the pair would have been in the book’s “Part Two: Masters of the Universe” part of their time together when The Tenth Planet happened.

Bearing in mind that the Emperor is the Doctor, Lance Parkin’s short-lived Miranda comic is a pretty interesting take on the far-future posthuman version of the same post-War-in-Heaven world that we see (in nineteenth-century England) in the Faction Paradox comics. The four giant silhouettes are reminiscent of the four surviving “elementals” mentioned in The Gallifrey Chronicles: the Doctor-as-Emperor, the man with the rosette (aka the Master), the man with dice in his hand (aka the Minister of Chance), and “a young woman with long blonde hair in an extraordinary piece of haute couture” (probably either Iris Wildthyme or Romana). But the idea that they had “caused the destruction” is a bit totally misguided. Then again, Ferran and the Klade had a very clearly biased view of the Emperor, so they might not give the best interpretation of events.
