<rin> the gist of it is that when I was with my ex who just kind of brought things up to start fights, I eventually got numb to it and mentally checked out of arguing. it was always insanely mundane stuff that would get responses (eg asking if a weapon in warframe was meta and taking it personally if I said it wasn't) so I naturally concluded "ah yeah, minecraft won't do that"
<rin> but what I didn't realise is that in response to any attempt to do that in minecraft, I'd go dwarfmode and just build an incomprehensible hyperfixation labyrinth while nodding and going "mhm" every time argument bait was dropped
<rin> this base had literally 300 rooms, connected by tunnels and spires with nothing in them that I constructed in a fugue state and filled with mannequins, but then I realised I had a problem
<rin> that was really really really fucking scary
<rin> what I had ACTUALLY built was a city that could house an entire faction, to scale with some real life towns and fully furnished, in a place where ambient cave noises would play and it wasn't always clear where the next door to the surface (or an airlock into a cavern) was
<rin> and I got so creeped out conceptually by having a massive labyrinth that was made entirely of negative autistic energy, filled with mannequins that I placed seemingly only to scare myself, that I stopped going in most of it and kind of hid in one of the top floors (the one with the terracotta ballroom and the roman style bathing area)
<rin> the end result was that I started building houses inside of the house, smaller basecamps that were less creepy than the massive empty structure, along with numbered signs and routes through it that avoided "the creepy parts"
<rin> the creepy parts were like. exceptionally weird.
<rin> it wasn't even built as a base, but just vaguely attached "expansion" that usually simulated something or otherwise looked like it should have a use
<rin> for example, a series of identical plazas, connected by a central spiral staircase, all with identical underground apartment buildings that flanked all four sides, down to the furniture inside of them, all the way to bedrock

<gf> i don't even know what to say. just oh my god
<rin> there were multiple restaurants, and the gimmick of them is that they were identical except for the color of the wool used on the carpet, and there were 20 of them

<rin> genuinely I wish I still had the world file because like, what cool organic horror it was
<gf> yeah that sounds kind of incredible in like a really terrible way
<rin> there were distinctly the small manageable rooms where I was actually comfortable playing the game and then there was the horrifying maze of structures that made up my mental labyrinth further in or something
<rin> total aside, that's why there's the metrolith labyrinths in vesalblood. the "compacted underground urban center built on top of other urban centers" thing struck me as a cool enough concept to keep

Moon(pirate) I'm pretty sure she fell asleep at her computer without logging out...
Zoe: yeah, I pranked buford last night, and rainbow dash was collateral damage
Ladybug:(cowboy) hmm... *quietly* lucky charm
*a calvary bugle falls into her waiting hand*
Freddy: moon, I don't suppose you know reverie?
Moon: no...
Shifts to Sun
Sun(cowboy): but I do~
Sun takes the bugle and pulls out a stack of wool blocks, slowly building up to rainbow dashes cloud.
Zoe: yknow, the bugle reminds me-
Ladybug: yeah, I already passed along your calvary soldier look along to rarity for revisions.
Milo and Denki(both Cowboys) walk up to the group.
Milo: hey whats up with the wool?
Freddy: we-*realizes what's about to happen*- oh dear. GET DOWN!
Freddy, Zoe, Ladybug, and Denki (hero instinct, rather than Murphy law experience) all dive to the ground as Sun starts blaring on the bugle
Rainbow, immediately woken starts scrambling, but her panicked attempt to bolt are knotted up in the soft cloud, building up lighting
Which against all expectations, strikes Denki
*KRACKA-THOOOOOM*
Freddy, first to recover, gets up
Freddy: is everyone al...right?
Every window in town has been shattered, rainbow dash has crashed through the wall of rarity's botique, the doors to Doc's saloon are splinters, and Milo is running around with his hat on fire, trying to put it out
Freddy: ... what just happened?
Zoé: where's Denki?
Foxy(chatlog) can some tell me why Sparky just crashed ashore my island???
Freddy:...what?
Autocorrect is the bane of my writing... rainbow dash was supposed to call buford a "meathead" in the last one, so here's another!

Tell me about the worst minecraft mod idea go
One of those twitch crowd control mods but everything activates entirely at random. You cannot turn this off. It also spams the chatlog for added realism. You can't turn that off either
#+ removing it makes the world you were playing stop working#and all the code is intentionally labeled wrong so crash logs will Never help you

if i ever try to incorporate the hermits/empires into trafficstuck id probably do it like how it happened in homestuck where the trolls (double lifers) just dipped out of their unstable session because they got attacked by The High Council (the watchers) on the winning platform with the twist that they all got separated (bigb and martyn got stuck traveling the dreambubbles with jimmy being their only link to the others)
the rest of the hermits and empire lads are all humans from the same earth that just started different sessions. que end of the world and shennanigans between the humans and the 2 sessions uniting at the end of it all.
some aditional notes
-despite the sprites i made a while ago there are also human versions of mumbo and lizzie! their troll versions died alongside skizz before the dl session started because they ended up not playing the game
-pearl and gem would be on the empires side but due to pearl and scott being the space and time players of the trolls session they (mostly pearl) end up forming a connection with the hermits which she at one point passes down to gem aswell
-impulse and tango shared zed as patron trolls for a long while before the empires-hermits connection was made and impulse became gems
-pearl used to be both gem and sausages patron troll before impulse took over
-at first joel would refuse to talk to lizzie in any shape, way or form because she reminded him of his late matesprit, he still looked at her timeline and SOMEHOW she still pestered him (which resulted in multiple chatlogs in which joel came off as rude and standoff-ish) until he noticed that JIMMY of all people started chatting with her so he decided to actually go back in the timeline since long before jimmy started pestering lizzie and actually started falling for her
-on the other side of paradox space, grian took it in the opposite direction once he saw mumbo and tried to find any connections between him and his late moirail because surely it cant be just a coincidence
-jimmy is fwips patron troll and that one ends as well as one would expect
-joe still challenges cleo in minecraft to fight in the colosseum thru a video to which cleo accepts and responds to in the same manner

Younger family member says they got 3 chicken eggs from fishing in 1.20.51 bedrock minecraft on the switch, i think they /give'd it to themselves because they were too impatient for going out hundreds of blocks out and stalking a chicken for some time (all for a cake), chatlogs dont show that the /give command was used. Minecraft.wiki and minecraft.fandom dont say A N Y T H I N G about getting chicken produce from the fucking water. Help me i already have a problem with interacting with people and the literal child has a smug aura that my autistic ass cant comprehend

Just as before, the phone in front of you powers on once again, a bright screen shining back to life, with someone else off in their own world this time.
Whoever is in front this time seems preoccupied for a while, minding their own business absentmindedly. They seem to be sat in a well-kept, yet room on the messier side. It seems to be a comfortable apartment, with a few sweaters scattered across a chair, or the bed, and a couple of small trinkets, or inanimate objects out of place.
It isn't until long before they *do* eventually take notice of whoever's there to greet them, and when they finally do.. you can make out a smile being offered in your direction, with a curious gaze made your way, before they lean in to greet you.
