No no no the “Daemon only loves Rhaenyra because he couldn’t have Viserys” people just don’t GET it, yes there is an element of Daemon’s feelings for Rhaenyra being connected to Viserys BUT he wants Rhaenyra because she is NOTHING like Viserys, she represents everything he isn’t. He finds that connection in Rhaenyra that he lacks with Viserys, because she is the embodiment of Fire and Blood just like him. Daemon already knows he shares a deep connection with Rhaenyra because of their similarities, their shared love for their heritage. Daemon is so desperate for Viserys’ love because he doesn’t share that same connection with him, he doesn’t feel like Viserys is a true Targaryen, the way he does with Rhaenyra and so much of Daemon’s connection to people he loves is tethered to his identity as a Targaryen. Viserys loves Daemon because he is his brother, but he doesn’t love the Targaryen in Daemon and THAT is what Daemon desperately yearns for, which is what he finds in Rhaenyra who very much does love that side of Daemon…

all of my akihona dreams have come true... honami was so so so so so nice to akito it made me wanna cry. so badly. she clocked his fear of dogs 0.0000000001 seconds after meeting him and then when he ended up volunteering to take an acquaintance's place at the disc dog tournament because he hurt himself, she immediately offered to help him with the guy's dog, max. because obviously he's scared shitless of him :') but he also really wants to try to face his fear a little...

because seeing a dog running towards him freaks him out reallyyyyyyy badly he was kind of having a hard time tho. throwing the disc for max to go catch was easy but when he started running to come give it back to him..... so honami decided they should start smaller and walked him through trying to just pet max. very gently and patiently and i can't help but imagine that she was holding his hand throughout. he only got as far as letting max sniff him that first time but!!!! a little later!!!! after max blocks samo-chan from bowling him over when one of minori's disc throws went awry (which i'm choosing to believe he did On Purpose - he wasn't just chasing after the disc too . he was shown to be a Very aware, attentive, and well-behaved dog so i think it's very likely that he knew how scared akito was. he sat so patiently and still during the failed first attempt to pet him after all) !!!! akito finally managed to pet him!!!!!!!!!! he pet a dog!!!!!!!!!! for the first time in his life! his hands were shaking and he was scared but he pet him!!!!! (and back to the idea of max understanding his fear: i think he was really excited to finally get some pets from akito but tried really really really hard to stay still and calm so he didn't scare him more [yknow that little taptap dance dogs will do with their front paws when they're trying to be good and stay sitting still and their tails are wagging like crazy...yeah like that])

he's still super scared of dogs but he's a lot less afraid of max specifically... he did it.!!!! he made his first doggy friend ever!!!!!! and i think he would've had a muuuuuuch harder time without honami (and minori and rui but i've been waiting for him to meet honami for 500 years so you'll excuse me if i focus on that)

Dacre is a method actor. He doesn't enjoy shouting at kids or tying people up that's his work ethic. Jeremy Strong was literally too into character that Brian Cox hated him. Your example is literally not different then Dacre. Jeremy was in character all the succession season he didn't even left the character end of the day.

Dacre was always so good with the kids. With the crew. Every fuckin person on that set loves Dacre.
