jinki’s smile is honestly my favourite thing on earth. The variations of his smile …. oh boy. but my fave has to be his eye smile when his eyes go uneven and his face is just beaming with pure happiness its the most beautiful smile!!!! special shout out to his gummy smile, and smirk that kills me!!!!!!!!! also: “what is jinki to you?” jonghyun: “a person with a pretty smile” 😭😭😭😭

jonghyun’s smile is honestly so special!!!! and it has gotten extra special recently with his fuller cheeks!!!!!!!! he just looks so happy and healthy and a peace when he smiles ugH

kibum’s smile is the most playful in my opinion. it can be the most mischievous out of shinee. it just enhances his bubbly personality further. his dimples are also the cutest thing ever omf g ALSO his half smile/smirk skdndksns

So the singer’s voice! It’s so nice and soft but also not too soft? like she didn’t bore me. which usually happens for me with singers who use their falsettos too much. But i genuinely enjoyed this song. I didn’t think i’d make it all the way through, but now i want to listen to it again.

Was there ever a song you didn’t like at first that had to grow on you?

Aside from Shout Out, I think Perfect 10 lol, idk it was just not my type in the beginning but now i find myself singing along to it

oh boy, I would die for another jongyu song as well as a taekey dance collab. Also!! something different would be Luna and Taemin dancing to Drip Drop, we only got to see a snippet a few months back but it seems like they’re not going to release it for whatever reason smh

kibum thinks about woohyunsometimes & everything that could have been. the three months they spent as a duo were awild & trying time, moments captured on film & cellphone screens,pictures that he looks at now on a bright spring day still too cool to unbundlefrom his gray cashmere blanket.

they might have had acomeback but maybe it’s better that they didn’t. absently he scrolls through roll of pics theytook when for three hundred & seventy-six minutes they were justthemselves.

the phone lights up in themiddle of his ruminations & he laughs as the image of woohyun’s facesquished against glass glows in his hand & he answers brusquely with ateasing, “what now?”

“hey.” the smile already on his lips softens at thevoice & he murmurs back his own “hey” in response.

“what are you doing?”

“looking at pictures.”

“what pictures.”

“ones taken with you.”

“good ones?”

“good enough.” he loves the little chuckle on the other endof the line. they chat a little more about meaningless things that mean everything;things between friends.

the day is cooler &kibum is still warm when the line disconnects. another twenty minutes & he’s smiling at the knock at his door.

How has writing changed you? At some point in time have you ever considered writing to serve as some sort of lifeline for you? Lastly, do you see yourself continuing on to write in the upcoming years?

changed me... omfg i don’t think it has? i don’t know what i’m like without writing... i started when i was five haha. i have a story written in crayon from when i was in first grade--and there were some before that but that’s just the oldest i still have (or at least i think i still have it). so yeah if it changed me it did so literally fourteen years ago haha.

lifeline... do i need writing to live? yes, absolutely, all the time. i’m not me if i’m not doing it. i don’t even think i’m that good, tbh, but... it’s something i have to do. even though it’s really hard and i have no confidence in myself and sometimes i’ll go a long time without actually doing it... it’s something i need. esp now, when i’m stuck in a major i don’t like and potentially moving forward into a field i also don’t want to be a part of... it’s keeping me at least a little bit sane. at least i’ll always be able to open up a google doc and just... write.

yes. i’ll write until the day i die lmfao. it’s a part of who i am and has been since i was five. there are some things u can change about urself, but, i don’t think it’s something i’ll ever be able to change!!

This is an almost impossible question to answer! I read almost everything and like most of it lol! The ones I’ve been reading the longest are: @minhosnoona , @shinyaqua , @jongyued , and @minhoskitty

4. Name three writers that were influential to your work and tell why

L.M. Montgomery- for bringing me scope of imagination and everything lovely about childhood and tragic romances, Jane Austen- for her razor-sharp wit and keen ability to state the mundane in humorous and honest ways, Steven Bly- for teaching me how to write dialog and structure writing so the way you read moves the reader to feel inside the story.

5. Since how long do you write?

I’ve been writing fanfic since 2005

6. How did writing change you?

Writing became a solace for me. I began writing during a very difficult time in my life and it was a huge emotional outlet for me when I was massively emotionally overloaded and was barely functioning as a person. Writing allowed me to put into words my heart. Since joining the SHINee fandom I actually began publishing my stuff for the first time and so then it’s brought me into a wonderful community of fellow writers and creators- and community is important to me and helps me.

7. Early influences on your writing

Aside from everything under #4- My mom- who was relentless in hammering spelling and grammar into me and making me write book reports for every book I read (I was a voracious reader when young) it was a hated chore but I pushed me to understand writing better. Ironically, she knows nothing of my writing fanfic.

29. Favorite story/poem of another author

Sunny Day Hero I cry that it was never finished ;;;

39. Do you want to be published someday?

Yes and no. It has always been a dream to reach that point someday, but participating in last years SBB taught me just how lacking I am as a writer. Right now with my life as it is I don’t have the time to dedicate to writing and developing as a writer so I don’t see that happening.

49. Writing advice

Read. Read everything you can and all sorts of genres and authors. Reading will teach you amazing things about writing. Dedicate time to develop your craft. Writing doesn’t just happen, it’s actual work, and it takes time. Write even when you don’t feel like what you are producing is crap. Often I’ve found that once the crap has gotten out the good stuff can come out. Don’t give up if you really want it.

Have you ever listened to shinee nonstop for twenty-four hours straight? ✨

NO OMG HAVE YOU????? that is so wild. First of all I’ve only ever stayed up 24 hours straight when I was taking an antidepressant and it gave me a horrid side effect of insomnia I would never voluntarily stay up for 24 hours. Also I get extremely bored extremely quick and I like to do various things and alternate between different activities during the day so to listen to music of any sort for several hours straight is a Rare feat for me
