I believe this was Alexandra’s first Met Gala, and I’m honestly a little shocked. I feel like she’s been an ambassador for Dior for so long, I thought they would’ve had her attend before.

My favorite part of this look was the beauty look. I absolutely loved her hair. The volume and body of the hair was so cute, and I loved the retro style. I thought her makeup worked since she wore such a pale dress.

The dress looked great on Alexandra. I loved the slight ombré effect. It was very pretty, but another dress that felt a little basic for the Met Gala.

I loved Elle Fanning’s look, not because it was the most beautiful, but because of the story. When Elle was 13 she posed for Karl’s “Little Black Jacket” book. Where everyone wore the same jacket, but styled it for their personality. Elle wore the white dress she came in with, and Karl added a flower crown. For this look, she also drew inspiration from “The Bride” that closed all of Karl’s Chanel shows. I really liked how personal this look was, and how much thought Elle put into it.
