Anyway, 8th house overlay may be so intense for both; it's never casual, something that's unforgettable. In my personal experience, both people feel understood, deeply connected.
~ the 8th house person usually has moments of fear and paranoia, they feel so attracted, so sensitive, even way too attached, the fear that it may be an illusion, or the other person isn't that serious or doesn't reciprocate the intensity and feelings scare them.
~ the planet(s) individual feels oddly different when in company of the 8th houser; they may even change their behaviour or adopt habits of the 8th houser.
~ in many case both of them feel strangely different; both of them undergo some change in their psyche and personality/behaviour.
~ 8th house moon individual feels very open about their trauma and feelings, even a capricorn moon could open up and being emotional with 8th houser. Both of them feels emotionally nurtured and accepted, their past and traumas are being "healed" or at least it doesn't hurt as much as before.
~ 8th house mars is sexually intrigued and oddly irritable yet patient. There's a lot of fights and misunderstandings, both are sensitive and dramatic. Usually, fights particularly in person can be tamed by the underlying explosive lust and desire. Furthermore, usually it can signify that both of you have similar kinks and fantasies, it's like you have manifested the "perfect" partner in that area; someone that can finally satisfy your fantasies.
~ 8th house synastry creates strong bonds, so if a relationship is formed it's for a long run; accompanied by 7th house placements it leads to marriage too.
~ Jealousy, paranoia and possessiveness it's also pretty normal to see with this bonds, same goes for toxicity but it doesn't bother them (unless we're talking about freedom loving signs such as gemini, sagittarius or aquarius placements mostly sun/moon/venus) because it steams from a deep longing or obsession or just codependency.
~ future projects particularly relating to money and business it's something that is talked very often between and by the couple.
~ with moon and mars there's a lot of ambition in relation to gaining money together (even with not so honest means), it's a need for a comfortable relationships, gifts and spending money together is also a pattern (even for hotels), or sexy stuff.
~ sex or sexual dependence is a serious issue and matter here. I'm talking about satisfying orgasm, pleasing sexual fantasies becoming reality etc
~ with mars and moon nurturing/caring about eachother and being protective it's on daily basis
Personally I'm such a great fan of 7th, 8th and 12th synastry; it's so deep, transforming, serious energy, very emotional and sensitive but you feel loved and secure that you can't stop daydreaming about a future together.
So bonus points if one of you or both have this house overlay, or 11th particularly for sun (so you'll be great friends not only lovers). 7th house Saturn though it's not auspicious for marriage (it may means delay in marriage), same goes for Saturn in 8th and 12th house if you care about mental health.

Fanfic tropes
Thank you for the tag @tleeaves !!
Rules: How much do these tropes affect your decision to click on a fic?
• -10 -> very dissuaded
• 0 - don't care either way
• 10 -> very enticed
• nope -> if it's a hard no and you'd never click on a fic with that tag or or you even have the tag blocked or you'd insta click out of the fic if it wasn't tagged
Bonus points for explaining the rating and whether it's conditional.
Age Gap: 0/-3
That entirely depends on how big the age gap is. Overall, I don't care, but if I check the ages and my mind went "holy mother of @#&$" that's an automatic pass and I'll drop the story, so regardless of how good it is, the age gap still plays a part.
In my novel, I have a character who's immortal, but in the earliest draft, I made the character immortal for a long time, and after realizing how stories went for that route, I decided to change it and made the character become immortal for the first time — I've always wanted to write about someone coming in terms with their immortality for the first time, so that's an opportunity.
Codependency: 0
Again, this depends on how the trope is used. If the character has been traumatized so much and had nobody by their side to rely on found someone to let their guard down and entrust them with their pain that they had been holding on for too long, that's a plus for me! But if the character does nothing at all and acts their whole world revolves around character b, that's a no-no.
In my second novel, my main character lived in such an awful life, he grew up in the streets alone and had to fight in order to survive. He was alone and never had someone by his side. But when the survivors came, his life gradually changed, he learned to open up, yet found himself trusting Rebecca the most. He felt connected to her because of how similar they were and slowly, she became that one person whom he trusted to take care of him if his world crumbled.
Enemies to lovers: 10 (100 if I break the rules)
This is one of the tropes that get misunderstood a lot, but hey! That is measured by how an author handles this trope. But for me. . . AHSGJSGDJDHS FERAL FERAL FERAL!!!!! TWO PEOPLE SEEING THE WORST IN EACH OTHER AND EVENTUALLY APPRECIATING EACH OTHER??? GIMME THAT!!!!! Sometimes, enemies to lovers always end up in toxic relationships, which I tend to avoid in stories, but if I write in this trope, I will do my best to make it beautiful as possible!
I had this trope in my two novels, actually— one is Castriel and Rebecca (however, I'm not sure if I'll make these two officially go to the romance route, so don't get your hopes up no matter strong how their chemistry gets) and the other is Gani and Haliya (yeah, he saved her and her friend, but the real development starts when these two meet again 😈).
Enemies with benefits: -10
Sure, I read some fics with this trope, but that's out of boredom and I wasn't invested much, but this trope isn't in my list. Just. No.
Fake dating/relationship: 7
This trope is pretty hilarious! Especially when two characters hate each other, yet had to act like in a loving relationship — COMEDY!
Found family: 10 (100)
Ajsgsjdgsjgsjdgdh THIS TROPE!!!! I like this trope for both canon (if established correctly) and fanfic. Imagine a group of people who came from different backgrounds and eventually found the family they deserve? *melts*
All of my three novels have this trope! They built an unbreakable bond in such an unexpected place and— 🥹❣️
Friends to lovers: 10 (100)
I'm insane for this trope as much as I am for enemies to lovers (that also has a friendship stage)! There is something about friendship blossoming into something more and the relationship being "each other's best friend" and "all this time, I thought I'd never fall for someone until I found that person right next to me" that made my heart race ajgsjsgdkdhdkgsw
Almost every possible pairing in my novels have this trope, which must've been the reason why I think about those pairings all the time, especially the main ones.
Friends with benefits: -10
No. And I'll never understand this trope.
Love triangle: -10
When I was new to literature, this is one of the few tropes I frequently encountered. At first, it seemed fun, but as I grow, I realize how annoying this trope is and can disturb the plotline.
Mistaken/Hidden identity: 0
I haven't read or encountered anything that has this trope, so I don't have an opinion about it lol!
Monster Fu... Relationship: -10
First of all, WHAT IN THE NAME OF GOD IS THIS?! Humans are such a weird species. . .
Obsession, Possessiveness, etc.: -10
Again, WHY?! This trope basically has walking red flags and walking colorblinds.
Opposites (like grumpy x sunshine, etc): 10
I admit, I like this trope very much that I inserted it on every pairing in my novels as possible XD. There's something that makes me go crazy over the love story and any relationship in general because regardless of the differences, they balance each other well.
Fire and water? Warm and cold? Light and darkness? You name it!
Poly: 0
Eh, I don't care much.
Pregnancy: 0
I don't care much either.
Second chance: 5
Okay, but almost every manhwa I read has this TROPE and the reason why I gave this a half is because sometimes, it gets overused and the MC becomes holier-than-thou due to his knowledge (also how the heck does reincarnated/reborn/second chance MCs remember every detail when I don't even remember what I ate last week) and eventually becomes boring.
Sex to Feelings: -10
No comment. Just -10.
Slow burn: 10 (100)
I SHALL OFFER MY SOUL AND MY WHOLE LIFE! THIS IS CRUCIAL TO EVERY TROPE (enemies to lovers, rivals to lovers, and heck, friends to lovers) BECAUSE YOU'LL WITNESS THE SLOW AND PAINFUL DEVELOPMENT BETWEEN TWO PEOPLE UNTIL THEY BECOME IDIOTS AND NO MATTER HOW FRUSTRATING IT GETS, AS LONG AS THEY GOT THEIR HAPPY ENDING I AM SATISFIED! This trope is one huge umbrella and ANYTHING can happen!
Soulmates: 5
If executed properly, then why not offer my soul too? The angst, the pining, the happiness, and the peacefulness once they meet at last 🥺💕

i had a crush on my friend in school but she liked a popular guy from our class( when she didn’t discover her sexuality yet) i saw them kiss infront of me and that was the worst day of my life i cried so much i knew she didn’t feel for me but i had small hopes lol then we went to different cities because of college but after like six years we happened to live in the same city and now we are engaged and live together i love lesbians we may not win the battles but we’ll win the war for sure 🥰
you’re living every sapphics dream 😭🥹 so happy for you!!!
I was in an undefined open relationship with one of my best friends for years as a teen and saw her kiss many guys, kissed a lot of the same men as well (we even almost had a threesome twice lol) but my story has no real happy ending except that I am now happily out of the closet and only have minimal contact with her (despite it being my first love it was an incredibly toxic and codependent relationship)

Hiii I read Sust Specks and I fell in love with it but now I can't stop thinking about what will happen to them! Since they both (spoiler) killed someone, will they face judgement? How is their relationship gonna be from now on? Is Cora going to be the dad he has always wanted to be for Law, or are they gonna act like very old friends? Too many questions and only you can answer!! What is their future gonna look like? 🥺🥺
Omg thank you! 🥹 I really do love that story. It was such a departure from what I usually write and it was so much fun getting to write about some of my favorite OP characters. See below for my depraved ramblings about what happens after the story!
I like to imagine that Law and Rosi would end up being very near-and-dear old friends. Lots of history between them but also so much time has passed and they’re different people now—but that’s okay! There’s a lot of respect and familial love, but an essence of bittersweetness since so much time has passed. Eventually, I’d like to imagine that Rosi would end up feeling like Law’s embarrassing uncle who always shows up to family events to party and share his favorite embarrassing memories about Law with anyone who will listen (Luffy in particular).
I also like to imagine that Rosi doesn’t get in trouble for the murders because he was granted immunity as a witness or something. Maybe he just has to do some community service and court mandated counseling. As far as Law? I imagine his medical license gets suspended for a bit but he gets it back after a while. I don’t think he’d go to jail or anything for killing Vergo since it would all be very speculative. (It was just a medical procedure that “went wrong” after all.) Worst case scenario, someone would bring a med mal case against Law and the hospital, but who the actual hell would do that for Vergo’s bitch ass? 😂 As far as Doffy… I like to think his ass is rotting in Impel Down. I think that Rosi would try to visit him because that is his brother and they are toxic and codependent. Doffy would probably still torment Rosi but I don’t think Rosi would ever truly give up on his brother. They are truly✨toxic✨together. I also think Law and Rosi would have a lot of beef over Rosi trying to fix things with his brother. And then Rosi would probably want to treat Law like a kid in that regard and be like “you don’t understand” or “you’ll get it when you’re older,” forgetting that Law is literally a grown man. And sheesh Law would nottttt have it. I’d imagine he’d call Rosi a “stupid clown” at some point for it. Then Rosi would get all emotional at the “stupid clown” comment and start crying again and Law would be affectionately annoyed. Like “ugh here we go again. Keep it together, old man.”
Law totally tries to make Rosi kick the smoking habit too but it never sticks. He probably always throws out the cartons of cigarettes but Rosi keeps buying more and starts hiding them in various places. It’d be an ongoing thing with lots of sabotage on Law’s part with the Polar Tang crew keeping score lmaooo (scoreboard reads Law: 30 Rosi: 5)
SORRY I DID NOT MEAN TO RAMBLE! You just got me thinking about this story and I couldn’t help myself!! Thank you for all the love and I’m so happy you liked the story! 🥰🥰🥰
