TLDR, this is yet another rant

A couple of weeks ago I was asked by someone who once played Eldarya. Their question could be summarised as "What are you expecting from poor Beemoov, now when Eldarya happened to be not their breadwinner?"

In a polite way, tho :)

Back then, I answered with my thoughts, solutions, and the usual rant , but last week I have read this post:

Please, read it and also watch the vid, it is spooky and beautiful. But aside from this- THIS is what I think Beemoov should have done instead of whatever happened with ANE.

They launched ANE on 10th November, 2020, almost 3 years ago, so they got plenty of time to prepare a proper farewell for players. Look at FFXIV- a whole year of events, a totally new approach to end their game on a grande note, a whole movie clip to show SPOILERS end of servers! And when they were ready with a new, rebranded FF- the players came back. The game is now big again.

And what Beemoov has done? Did they change anything that players were complaining of? Videos policy (what they have done now doesn't count, as Eldarya is at the end and this change was never about her), market history, monthly items, comeback of LIs... Nope. Nada. They repeated their mistakes over and over, and when they noticed the lukewarm (at best) reaction of their players, they still refused to do anything about it ("The script is already written and finished, nothing can be done about it"). The fact that Chino or any other artists edited an illustration or two is nothing compared to piles of problems.

We got bugged (again) summer event on Eldarya. I am still waiting for an answer from PL team why not a single player on our server found bait or familiar during exploration (don't think they will answer us- our PL admin is quite famously bad at it).

They tried to finish Eldarya as soon as possible, and I almost believed that NG was around the corner. Turns out it's not. Now we have tons of posts about MCL butique because Beemoov has to earn money somehow.

Back to the beginning of my post: yes, it seems it's possible to end your game on a high note and leave your players (CUSTOMERS) happy and missing the product. It seems it is possible for you not to bankrupt while doing this. So what was stopping you, Beemoov?

I didn’t finish the summer event but I finished editing these. As you can see I couldn’t make the outfits like in the photos with the avatars, but yeah, who cares anyway.

My favorite has to be the first one, but I also like that “red water”.

Ikebana memory trick:

A tip, to those who struggle with these type of games, from someone who does too:

Say outloud, to yourself, what you see

Unlike the chocolate chicken from hell, this minigame only has 3 things to memorize!

I say as follows:

Purple

White

Pink

Blue

then

Red

Green

Yellow

White

and

Black

Bamboo

Red

Green

Thats it, just look, say it outloud and then immediately click, next!

Since its just 3 picks, i find this method to work best for me

Good luck with the rest tho!

Well, since I have been able to finish the summer event and I love everything Japanese, I am going to show you what Naiara, my main OC, looks like with the new outfits. And yes, as you can see, her favourite colour is blue.

I have edited the hair because I don't like how she looks with fringe.

PS: I have made the template by myself so if someone wants to use it, just ask me for it.

Minigame guide

Wanage with Castiel

Drag and pull to throw the ring onto the numbered points. Take your time and aim for the 5. There are no point penalties in this game.

30 pt. = 0 - 4

50 pt. = 5 - 14

80 pt. = 15 or more

Origami with Prya

Find the perfect shadow for your Origami figure. There are always two differences in the wrong shadows, so look out for flipped tails or a wrong number of legs. There is a 1 point penalty for choosing the wrong shadow.

30 pt. = 0 - 5

50 pt. = 6 - 11

80 pt. = 12 or more

Koi-Poy with Hyun

Catch the fishes as they pass below your nets. You can’t see the fish if it passes under so I recommend to only click to catch if you see the head emerge. There are no penalties for misclicking.

30 pt. = 0 - 19

50 pt. = 20 - 40

80 pt. = 41 or more

Ikebana with Rayan

Memorize the three components of the flower arrangements. I recommend hovering your mouse over the correct stick/grass/bamboo while the preview shows as the sticks are the smallest items to click. There are no point penalties in this game.

30 pt. = 0 - 6

50 pt. = 7 - 10

80 pt. = 11 or more

Bon-Odori with Nathaniel

A rhythm game comparable to ‘Osu’. Click and drag the point across the predetermined path in the correct speed. If you click too slow, finish too fast or don’t move smoothly/in the same speed as the guide you get a bad score.

30 pt. = sad, red smiley

50 pt. = purple smiley

80 pt. = green grinning smiley

Yeah, I still didn’t finish the event and I will probably won’t until the end. Sad but true. For me, the hardest mini-games are Priya’s and Rayan’s, just because on the first I stay a lot to identify the correct one (my eyesight it's getting really bad) and on the second one I can do a max of 5 because my PC it’s really bad and on the app, I can’t click stuff most of the times. I love Nath’s mini-game. Yeah, it’s the easiest for me.

Now, back to the pictures from above, I loved doing them. It took me like 7 hours to find those clothes for the boys, which are from Yume 100. So I went to their wiki and search in to find someone who stays in a position like the ones that Ren and Alan have. And I’m happy with what I’ve found. I wanted the pictures to look more organic, not just to mannequins standing beside each other, but a couple, so this came out.

I really want it an event like this with a japanese theme for so long and I think beemoov realized that this idea wasn’t explored so much yet either. Still, 500 points for one item it’s too much and I think they know that.

Ren’s base it’s from this group. Alan’s base it’s from this group. Rose’s base it’s from this group and Chris and Carla’s bases are from this group and this grup.

MCL 2020 Summer Event: Castiel’s Ring Toss

idk if anyone else did this, and I’ve never done something like this before, but I want to help others having trouble with Castiel’s ring toss game in the 2020 summer event... I was angry at it at first, but I’ve read some tips in the event forum, and I want to help others with it too with visuals if they didn’t bother looking at the forum full of complaints skjfjsf

So here’s the first image I just grabbed from google. Look at the dark brown section ... Notice the faintly off-colored line near the ring? I’ll circle it for those having trouble seeing it.

Next time you see his game pop up, adjust your computer/mobile lighting so you can see it much clearer, if your current settings make it too difficult.

Now for the part where this is helpful to how much you have to pull back...

Extend that faint line mentally so you can gauge your line....

Now each time you aim, make sure your cursor either touches the line (when you pull the ring back) for the closer points and a liiiittle bit past the line for the farther ones!

Aim for the 5 every time. Even if you miss once or twice, you’ll be able to adjust accordingly very quickly since you’re already close to the target. I actually learned that it doesn’t have to be completely perfect like the dancing game, but you have to get at least close enough for it to count!

I play this game with a trackpad and I can safely say I can hit the 5 target at least 3 times which is enough points to get the perfect 80 score!!

I hope this helps!!!! Please message me if you need more tips, I’ll probably make more if anyone needs more help with any other games because this event is just.... bad.
