rewatching mtvs faking the messiest dyke drama ever. It's definitely camp and it's kinda self aware bur it's also horrible no good. It's what the Twitter gays wished dear Evan hasten was like watch the first episode (it's only 20min) and if knowing what they are faking it's not hilarious and heart breaking stop your gonna hate the show if not you've got your new favourite trash show.
New show is season 3 of chucky which only has half a season airing cause of the strikes so I'm trying to stretch it out but I will say jennifer tilly is a delight as always.

I am new to the Hannibal fandom and stumbled upon Ur metas . I have read Ur very old metas too from like 2013 .
But I just wanna ask please don't consider it rude but when did u start shipping hannigram or believing in hannigram. It seems tho reading some of Ur 2015 post u didn't necessarily want Will and Hannibal together.

Sorry this is old, but I'm trying to clean out my inbox. IDK what posts you're talking about from 2015, but my general attitude would have been that after a season where they spent most of their time apart, there ought to be at least one season where they spend most of their time together. Past that it becomes a matter of where the writing would have taken the show. And I don't do shipping outside of the context of canon, by and large.
I think there might be a lot of people out there who would be benefitted to remember that people don't all ship the same ways and for the same ends, regardless what's in canon. Some people are going to ship Hannigram and "want Will and Hannibal together," as you say here, and some of them are going to put them in a light-hearted coffee shop au where even the coffee isn't people, and some others are going to want to rewrite them meeting each other and going through betrayal arcs over and over and over again, and some others are going to want murder husbands all day everyday.
Personally, I like their fraught relationship as it appears on the show. All of my fics focus on that fraught quality. That's always where my investment was since the day I picked up Red Dragon back in 1992 and read their meeting where Hannibal told Will, "The reason you caught me is that we're just alike." And those words obviously hit Bryan Fuller in exactly the same way as they hit me, and he took them and ran with them. The show had to earn my belief that it was invested in this concept from both perspectives (from what it suggests about Will Graham individually and what it suggests about their singular connection to each other), but once it had done this thoroughly, I bought in.
I'm not someone who was born and raised in m/m shipping fandom, and I haven't developed tastes that match. By this I mean that when I start a new show, I don't cast about looking for two men that I can find a reason to put together purely for the sake of sighing and blushing about them. I didn't even know what the term "shipping" meant in this context before Hannibal.
So if by asking when I started shipping them, you mean, when was I invested in their fraught relationship, then it was 1992. If you mean when did the show convince me their relationship would fully play out that fraught dynamic and present the characters in ways that I'd fully approve of...maybe about "Buffet Froid"? Ish? But then I still didn't have any concept of shipping or was fully convinced that the show was invested in the ship and on board myself until maybe..."Shiizakana"?
Like I said, a show has to do the heavy lifting or I don't ship it: I don't grab characters willy-nilly for fill-in-the-blank shipping. There are character relationships I like better than others because there are characters I like better than others, but if there isn't at least canon yearning, I ain't in. And that's because I'm into fraught relationships and yearning. If they're gonna earn me, they gotta yearn me.
So yeah...I wanted more show. That means I'm not invested in them ending up together after the end of the show. I don't care about after the end of the show at all, except insofar as it reflects what the ending would have been. It's what's on the show that matters to me, and for that, I just need the two of them to be culty and weird about each other. I had reasonable faith in the show's ability to maintain that, so yeah, I shipped it. Even if I didn't do it the way others did.

hi! my favorite read this year was sharp objects by gillian flynn :) gone girl was not as good tbh. i also couldn't finish chemistry with the cosmos by george clarey in a timely manner because i would get too excited by the text. it's a beautiful look at how connected the world is. it is from the 20s tho so it's not perfect. and hannibal rising was the girl boss book of the summer. cute q!! i hope ur day is good xx
oh i read sharp objects last year and it easily found its spot on my favourite books list. and yeah i agree with the gone girl verdict, i actually couldn't finish it for some reason. i'll try again some other time maybe. will check out cosmos as well. i haven't finished the hannibal lecter novels, red dragon is one of my favourites, and i enjoyed the silence of the lambs, so i'll probably finish the rest at some point. thank you! <3

fireside: if you had your dream wardrobe, what would it look like?
this is going to sound so autistic but my ideal wardrobe would be 1000 soft hoodies that never get dirty (and definitely among them that shin hati one from hot topic 🥰🥰)
and then (bdbdbdb) soft trousers that somehow work as they should and look good and actually fit me but without the waistband touching me ever at all
oh! and for summer 5 different soft t-shirts and a toggle on/off button for top surgery. tits should definitely just be a wardrobe thing i should be able to put those little guys in a drawer (with snacks i’m not a monster!)
and a cloak!! a big black cloak that flares dramatically on command and can be used as a sleeping bag or a soft blanket or a weapon in combat. and it gives me advantage on stealth checks
and also lightsabers and swords for accessories. um and boots with so many buckles for no reason but soft and they let me use the dash action as a bonus action
and the wardrobe itself would just be my inventory. a pocket dimension

vegetables!! 🥰🥰 my mom used to make me eat carrots on pain of death and based on lies about darkvision and ‘rudolph would be so disappointed he loves carrots casper’ but now i like all vegetables (okay except cucumber and beetroot and parsnips) and especially green ones. and ESPECIALLY broccoli. little trees you can eat like ur one of those long-neck dinosaurs and actually to ants and fruit flies that’s exactly what you are 😳🥹🥹

um well my favourite tea is lapsang souchong for normal reasons not because a dragon was called that one time and he was super polite and good at chess and a crime lord. i have that just plain because of course!!
coffee i also drink black but not often because it makes me feel sick. i REALLY like the fancy ones like lattes and caramel macchiatos and cappuccino but they make me even more sick so… yeah. i do keep a tin of coffee around to smell though because you should be more cat and just sniff things. then you can smell when other people are sick like me and hannibal lecter. 🥰🥰

omg ur tags on the durge bhaal fight are so real!!! i played my durge as someone desperate for their own power and autonomy and assumed that maybe getting astarion ascended/doing a bunch of bhaal stuff would get them the power they wanted only for it to be totally the opposite. they said fuck you to bhaal and it was just generally unsatisfying because its not like withers makes you his ward and you get death god powers to replace your bhaalspawn ones. youre just kind of fucked if youre a sorta Bad Durge who rejects bhaal and you also dont get enough neutral/calculating/scheming dialogues to help you out because everyone still sees you as a hero 😭
for reeeeal. when withers says something like 'yay you're a saviour and a good guy :)' and astarion pops up to say 'yeah babe you've saved me loads of times :)' hmmmmmm it wasn't quite the vibe i was hoping for. my durge is basically amnesiac hannibal lecter who is very pissed that SOMEONE keeps making him kill so sloppily.
i respect that time & budget constraints means they can't account for every possible style of roleplay but i feel like there were hints of a dark resistance path with the whole 'my sins are finally my own' dialogue + some others sprinkled throughout the game, but no actual path to follow so you just sort of muddle along to a weak conclusion.

Here to ask for a follow up to my ask about the hannigram x reader fic but this time it’s them in the relationship. Maybe there can be one where like in that one episode when Tobias attacked Hannibal but instead maybe reader needed to drop something off for Hannibal and ended up in his office cus Hannibal told her to just go and wait there for him, but Tobias was already there and well 🎬🎬cue reader actually knowing how to fight but maybe she gets pretty banged up from it (cut on her face, couple bruises who knows) and then once Tobias is down she’s like “😅😅should I call Hannibal, Will, or Jack” but eventually settles on Jack but then the boys come rushing in and she’s all apologetic to Hannibal for ruining his office and he’s all “??? You think I’m worried about my office???” And poor poor Will is just inspecting readers face and feeling bad that the cut might scar and the paramedic is stitching up her hand from where Tobias used that whip thing (man idk what it’s called but that thing he uses in the scene to fight Hannibal) and she’s slightly wincing and Will is all hurt (our empath boy is literally feeling poor readers pain) and he jsut kinda sits next to her and holds her other hand.
Idk I trust you’ll make an amazing fic out of it 🤧🤧🤧
