All the prophets and messengers that came to this world were sent by God. It was God who sent them, right? Or, whoever was granted sainthood, whoever perfected Faqr (Spiritual Poverty), it all happened with God’s permission. If there is an individual who has been divinely appointed and anointed, what is the evidence that this individual is actually a divine delegate? For instance, Maulana Ilyas Qadri is known as Peer e Tariqat by his followers and a divinely accomplished saint is appointed by God. God turns people into saints, right? Now, the Holy Qur’an states that the rightly guided ones are those who have been granted guidance by God and God knows who are the guided ones. So since faith and guidance come from God. Again, faith and guidance come from God. You will only be guided if you have been granted guidance by God. If God does not grant guidance to you will not obtain guidance no matter what you do. Chapter Al-Isra states ‘Wa mai yahdil laahu fahuwal muhtad’ which means whoever has been granted guidance by God is truly guided. Therefore, guidance comes from God. You are only guided if God has granted guidance to you. So then what about faith? What about sainthood? For instance, the followers of Maulana Ilyas Qadri call him a peer e Tariqat (Spiritual Guide.) Whereas a spiritual guide is delegated or appointed by God. The Quran states that even guidances comes directly from God. You will be guided if God wants to render guidance to you.
