popping in with some fellas!! i have individual sheets of these guys + a couple more in the works that i’ll be posting a lil later on :) these r some of the top blorbos.. guy is here in spirit i hadn’t delved into him yet when i drew this </3

Fiction Consultations with John Mark

John Mauk has a PhD in English from Bowling Green State University and a Masters from the University of Toledo. His stories have appeared or been accepted in a range of fine magazines such as Arts & Letters, Salamander, Bull, and New Millennium Writings. He has also contributed essays to online magazines, including Writer’s Digest, Beatrice.com, Three Guys One Book, The Portland Book Review, and Rumpus. His first short collection, The Rest of Us, won Michigan Writer’s Cooperative Press chapbook contest. His first full collection, Field Notes for the Earthbound, is available on Black Lawrence Press. He currently hosts Prose from the Underground, a YouTube video series for working writers.

John is accepting everything from flash fiction to novels for critique. The fees and parameters for each of these categories are as follows:

Flash fiction, up to 2 pages in length, $25 Short stories, up to 20 pages in length, $55 Chapbooks, up to 40 pages in length, $225 Novellas, up to 100 pages in length, $350 Short story collections, up to 180 pages in length, $475 Novels, up to 300 pages in length, $725 All manuscripts should be double spaced and formatted in 12-point font. The deadline to submit work for this consultation program is November 30. John will complete his work and respond to all participants by December 31.

I started this blog for podcast stuff then got sidetracked by Critical Role. You may however still find some podcast things here- probably McElroy stuff. Also, general dnd, wizardcore, fandom and fic things.

I've seen all of the Mighty Nein and am (slowly) working on Vox Machina. Stuff about those campaigns will probably not be tagged with spoilers. I often watch current Critical Role episodes live and liveblog, and tag spoilers as "cr spoilers" for a week after an episode.

I attempt to include image descriptions with all images I reblog. I have so many partially written IDs in my drafts.

I worked on some intricate lineart of Mollymauk, I'm thinking of making a group photo of the whole Mighty Nein.

Since I have a convention coming up I've been putting off a bunch of big projects I have planned in favor of getting prints and stickers done. But honestly I really need a break so I don't burnout. This may be the perfect opportunity.
