so i know i already made a post saying that part of why Hannibal killed Marissa could be because he was thinking "you got to keep your mother and you're treating her like that?"
i wonder if part of why he hated Mason so much was because he was thinking "you get to have your sister and you treat her like this?"

Funniest moments in Hannibal according to me:
- Hannibal pretending to freak out when Will throws up the ear as if he wasn’t the one who put it there (s1)
- Hannibal dangling from the ceiling in a straitjacket and still making fun of Mason’s mercenaries like “that guy I stabbed - did he soil himself when he died? I bet he did. Loser” (s3)
- Hannibal’s face when Marissa calls her mom a bitch (s1)
- Hannibal and Frederick eating that blood and chocolate meal in prison: “a lamb’s blood is traditionally used, though in this case, a local cow” “and…last time you served it to me?” “that was also a cow, but only in the derogatory sense” (s3)
- Frederick’s face as Will turns his professional statements on the Tooth Fairy into “he sucks ass and he’s ugly as fuck for real” (s3)
- Jack and Hannibal at dinner: “What am I about to put in my mouth?” “Rabbit.” “He should’ve hopped faster.” “Yes, he should have.” Cut to man stumbling as he’s pursued through the brush with violent violin screeching- (s1)
- After Bedelia yanks the ice pick from the Capone dude’s head: “technically, you killed him” (s3)
- Hannibal glowering up at Will when Dolarhyde shoots him with that crystal clear help me look in his eyes and Will just sips his wine (s3)

🏳️‍🌈 Pride Month Headcanons for Female Hannibal Characters 🏳️‍🌈
DR. ALANA BLOOM: bisexual (canonical!) with a preference for men (although she prefers her lovely wife above everyone else, of course ♥️)
Tumblr media
MARGOT VERGER: lesbian (canonical!) who eventually embraces both masculine & feminine gender presentation styles after Mason’s death
Tumblr media
DR. BEDELIA DU MAURIER: doesn’t label herself, but her sexuality is fluid and she’s been with both men and women
Tumblr media
BEVERLY KATZ: grayasexual pan/demiromantic or pansexual demiromantic (I can’t decide but I definitely see her as being ace and/or aro spec)
Tumblr media
ABIGAIL HOBBS: lesbian struggling with comphet
Tumblr media
FREDDIE LOUNDS: lesbian who is more than willing to use sex with anyone for leverage and career advancement but who isn’t at all attracted to men
Tumblr media
BELLA CRAWFORD: bisexual with a preference for men (because bisexuals with a preference for the opposite sex and/or who end up marrying someone of the opposite sex are still VALID and QUEER and I will die on this hill ♥️)
Tumblr media
REBA MCCLANE: uses bi, pan, and queer labels interchangeably (no I’m not projecting onto her what are you talking about-)
Tumblr media
CHIYOH: nonbinary lesbian who uses she/they pronouns
Tumblr media
MOLLY FOSTER GRAHAM: bisexual who only figured out that she’s bi after she’d married her first (now late) husband
Tumblr media
MIRIAM LASS: asexual aromantic (because aroace people are VALID and QUEER and we do NOT stan gatekeeping in this house, we all support each other ♥️)
Tumblr media
GEORGIA MADCHEN: bisexual trans (MTF) woman
Tumblr media
MARISSA SCHURR: thinks she’s straight but is really gay for Abigail
Tumblr media
That’s all for now! What are your Pride headcanons for these characters? 💖🌈

Fallout characters react to Jujutsu Kaisen Abridged (or at least their variants in it)
Was inspired by AO3 user StrykerKitsune with their fic "Miraculous watching Hellsing Abridged with a twist" and their hilarious (and kind of chilling) interpretation of the cast of Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir watching Hellsing Abridged by TeamFourStar but instead of the main Hellsing cast its replaced with variants of the Miraculous cast who are watching it (So instead of Alucard, Seras, Integra and Bernadotte, they were variations of Luka, Marinette, Kagami and Adrien respectively). The funniest and unique react fic I've read so far (considering instead of watching Miraculous, that cast watched themselves play the role of the Hellsing Abridged cast) and I'd advise you give it a read if you want to burst in tears.
Anyway, thinking about that today gave me a surge of inspiration to write a react fic... but with (most) of the Fallout cast watching variants of themselves playing the roles of the main cast in The Schmuck Squad's Jujutsu Kaisen Abridged.
Solemn and sometimes fun seriousness watches pure absurd crack.
This will include characters from Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4 and maybe Fallout 76 while we're at it.
Now as for the characterization of the Vault Dweller, the Chosen One, the Lone Wanderer, the Courier, the Sole Survivor and the Resident, they will be based on my Fallout OCs:
Elrand Brandt (Vault Dweller), Finidy Mona (Chosen One), Alph Dolen (Lone Wanderer), Ryder (Courier), Nate Gust Sarid (Sole Survivor) and Vega (Resident). None of my other OCs (e.g. Ortega "Ore" Brantley, Marissa "Ress" Bishop, Arcane Urias, Mathias "Mason" Talos, Aggravor, etc) from A Radioactive Calamity of Love, Bombs & Gore will be included, as this is purely for Fallout. I will be posting my Fallout OCs' character sheets (?) from now to whenever, before the polls of course.
The "watchers/reactors" will mostly comprise of the Fallout protagonists (who will be my OCs to avoid vague personality conflicts plus other things with a mostly voiceless and customizable character), their companions, story-relevant leaders, one or two DLC relevant characters and whoever else I personally think should be there. None of them will include antagonists (unless the antagonist/immoral figure is a companion or story-relevant, like Myron, Dean Domino, Ulysses, Strong, X6-88, Porter Gage, etc).
However, on the "Abridged Variants" side, characters will be chosen through polls that I'm gonna be posting either everyday or every week depending on how I feel. These polls will discern which Fallout character plays the abridged version of the Jujutsu Kaisen cast, and I will be presenting options I personally believe could do some good but also an optional "name a character in the tags" (and if it's a Fallout protagonist, just call them by their titles if you can't remember my OCs' names). This will include protagonists and antagonists. Now the size of the variant characters will only be as large or as important as those that significantly appear in the abridged version, not the source material (so Junpei's teacher, his most minor bullies, the unnamed student who interupts Itadori's "spooky little flip-flop grilled cheese bullshit club", etc won't be casted as variants).
I'll also find an OC to host this little reaction because why not, you know?
Anyway, to summarize: Gonna make a "Fallout characters watch/react to their variants in Jujutsu Kaisen Abridged", will include characters from most, if not, all of the Fallout games, characterization of the Fallout protagonists will be based on the OCs I have for them, will not include the mystical OCs from A Radioactive Calamity of Love, Bombs & Gore, character sheets for the former OCs will be posted before the polls, said polls will indicate which characters become a Jujutsu Kaisen Abridged variant (and the time period of the polls vary depending on character importance), watchers/reactors only include protagonists and characters of importance and will not include antagonists (excluding amoral/immoral companions or story relevant non-companions like Ulysses), but variants will include both protagonists and antagonists. Extremely minor characters or unnamed characters won't be casted and lastly an OC of mine will be the host of the reaction fic.
Hope this made sense. Will be posting OC Fallout sheets first and then the polls.

Starting season 2 again, and it's so interesting to really analyze Hannibal once you realize how deeply and thoroughly he plans everything, you can see the exact moments when he decides to alter his plans or switch into different stages of them. He had plans to frame Will in the 1st season but wavered as they grew closer. In episode 12, once Will started to connect the Copycat with the deaths of Dr. Sutcliffe, Georgia Madchen and 'Abigail', Jack wrote him off. Hannibal tried to persuade Will that he was grasping at straws for his own interests, but even with his brain on fire, Will still couldn’t shut it off; he could sense the truth unfolding before him. It impressed Hannibal, but you can also see the exact second it also made him realize Will was way too close to getting to the truth and needed to be pulled off his scent and, more importantly, he needed to make Will disreputable. Still, in the finale, when Will confronts him, Hannibal continues to try and pull a confession out of him about his 'true nature', certain of that dark connection between them.
Unrelated, but honestly, Freddie Lounds is low key the worst. She pulls a Hannibal season 2 in the first season with Nicholas Boyle by telling him that Abigail is home. She stirs the pot, creates dozens of unnecessary problems, tampers with crime scenes, prints a lot of libel amongst her semi-correct theories, witnesses horrible acts of violence and continues to trek further into the shit and make everything worse. I don't condone murder necessarily, but she kind of has it coming; in the way that Hannibal is partially guilty for what Mason does to Margot, Freddie is partially guilty for a lot of what happens to Abigail. She says she cares what happens to her, but she's constantly manipulating her and orchestrating bad situations for her. If Abigail hadn't killed Nicholas Boyle, Hannibal would never been able to manipulate her; she needed to be at his mercy, and Freddie Lounds was the one who encouraged him to go see her before Marissa Schuur was killed. She didn't care that Abigail was lost and traumatized.
Like Hannibal said, regardless of being her father's lure, Abigail was an innocent. She was a survivor who was afraid of what her father might do to her. She insists that she didn’t help her father kill or disassemble the bodies, so in her mind, she could always maintain some plausible deniability. She couldn't know for sure that her father killed him if she never actually witnessed it. She was raised in a traumatic situation and coped by prioritizing her survival. If she hadn't killed Nicholas Boyle, she never would've had to actually fear prison time. She was still a child; her father put her in a position she never should’ve had to be in, and she just wanted to live. If she was an actual monster, psychopath or whatever, she wouldn't have experienced so much guilt for the deaths of all those girls and to some extent, Nicholas Boyle, once Freddie insisted he was an innocent man.
Time and time again, we see Freddie act as a malicious manipulator in her own right, but she just pretends she's some fly on the wall, when quite often, her actions have a direct effect of hindering cases and destroying lives.
Talk about psychopathic tendencies, yet unlike every other character to come into contact with Hannibal, she gets away practically unscathed, physically and psychologically. Hannibal loathes the discourteous and rude, but despite everything, he never makes any sincere attempt to kill her. Imo she deserves to get got just as much as Bedelia, if not more. That being said, she's a beautiful boss ass bitch, and her cuntishness is ridiculously attractive. Kind of annoying how Jack threatens her at the beginning of the series and then never actually does a single thing about it when she immediately continues to write even more shit about Will.
Season 1 feels like such a freshmen beginning. Don't get me wrong, I love the whole show, but you can see how they were almost trying to start with the crime show format, but season 2 is where the themes and visuals become a lot more abstract and artistic. The show catapults into the stunning structure that it's most recognized for. The relationships are also so much more complicated and expansive; such as Hannibal's methodical decision to engage in a relationship with Alana at the precise time to best alienate and distract her from Will, also working as a way to threaten Will, to push him further.
Also, Mads is shot in such perfect lighting with precise angles that realistically illustrate Hannibal's canonical 'maroon' eyes from the book series, playing with tricks of shadows to deepen the fiery/tawny shade of his eyes without it coming across as cartoonish. It's such an important and intricate detail because of how often his eyes are the focal point of a shot, essential to reading the slightest changes in his expression.
Also, really unrelated, but Hannibal's wardrobe is perfection. Like my real-life aesthetic is a sloppy season 1 Will Graham, but I definitely want the fashion sense of a power-dyke Hannibal Lecter.

Do you have physical descriptions of your characters? Not face claims, just something like race, hair, eyes, height, build. I like to picture them when I'm reading! Your Patreon OC most of all, like Alex, Burg, Marissa, Noah, Mickey, Willy, Hunter, Alex's siblings and all the children, Devon, Courtney... It's okay if you don't! It's a testament to your talent that you got a visual reader like me so immersed in the action and dialogue to forget what your characters look like ❤️❤️❤️
Alex, Noah, Devon, Cupid, Mills, and Mason are in a different post, so I’m linking that here. I have updated that post a couple times as I’ve changed my mind about things. Let me know if it doesn’t work. Absolutely don’t feel bad that you couldn’t find it if you looked. Tumblr is a mess when it comes to finding stuff. This post also includes some explanations about why I tend to not be a visual writer. So, I’m not going to include that here. It’s absolutely okay that you care and that you asked. Thank you for reading anyway and I’m always happy to answer. I apologize in advance for how many times my ADHD took over during this post.
One thing I also want to add to that post is that part of the reason I don’t often describe body types is that to me, a lot of this is implied by the professions of my characters. Hockey players’ body types don’t very all that much and I’ve mentioned when they do. (Alex is described by Willy as being one of the really big guys.) Kat is a rhythmic gymnast and I’ve mention that she hopes to go to the summer Olympics which puts her in a specific body type. Morgan plays college basketball and that says a lot about her body type. (This might be a spoiler. Sorry?) I’ve mentioned Mason and Devon’s heights, but after that, they’re assumed to have the body type of an Olympic figure skater. (Mason is an example of where I’ve mentioned where he differs a bit because he’s taller. Devon is an example of the same because he’s shorter and also an example of a place where I'm mentioned his size because of his height difference with Alex.)
Burg: I have the issue with Burg that I have with Matty. Both he and Matty are in my head as “basic American white hockey player with brown hair.” I have literally met multiple members of my cities NHL team multiple times at my old job and they all dislike me because they recognize me, and I never recognized them because they literally look exactly the same to me. But honestly, this genericness is purposeful for Matty and Burg because being “typical hockey players” but making the decision to align themselves as they do is important for Alex and Kent. They are also both around 6’1” and built like hockey players. I have literally never thought of their eye colors, so I’ll go with brown. (NGL. I have literally never noticed someone's eye color in my entire life. I literally just sat here and tried to think of the eye colors of all my best friends and I'm not sure of a single one.)
Marissa: I *think* I’ve mentioned that Marissa has brown hair and she’s half-Mexican, but is white-passing in most cases. Her hair is naturally kind of curly, but she straightens it most of the time because that’s less day-to-day upkeep. She’s 5’3” and slim but curvy.
Mikey: Honestly, I could sit here and try to make him sound different than Burg, but I would fail, and it would be embarrassing. I am thankful that I’m good at dialogue. (Which honestly is probably due to having prosopagnosia.  I regularly recognize people by speech patterns and have been known to mix up people who look completely different but have very similar speech patterns. I actually had to explain to two people who were BFFs that I could see them, but since I don’t recognize by faces, my reflex is to recognize by speech patterns and stance/movement, so I’d say the wrong name reflexively before filling in the blanks that I was wrong when my eyes caught up and noticed other things my brain recognizes like hair and skin tone.)
Willy: Willy is blonde. I never intended for him to be a main character, so at the time I made him up, multiple Williams in the NHL had shoulder-length blonde hair so he also has it. He’s an example of where I’ve mentioned his hair because he cares about it. He has blonde hair and blue eyes for the same reason. He’s American, but has Swedish heritage. 6’1”
Hunter: Hunter is black, and he has a slighter lighter skin tone than Mason, Mills, Reaper, Ty and Emily. He keeps his hair cut fairly short. 6’2”
Courtney: Black and 6’1”. He doesn’t actually look like Hunter in facial features, but the description here is going to make it sound like that because I am a disaster at describing facial features for obvious reasons. I’ve mentioned that he is close to evenly matched with Willy in size, with Willy being a bit bulkier due to being a professional athlete while Courtney is a regular guy who goes to the gym.
The kids are going to be a little bit hard because they’re obviously growing. So I’m going to say height they’ll be as adults? (I have also deleted spoilers from this multiple times because Lizzie is 17 in the most recent post and 19 where I’m writing.)
Kat: Very slim and blonde. As an adult she’ll be 5’5” This is why even when she’s older, she jumps on Alex because he’s huge.
Ethan: Also blonde. Average height and gangly with glasses. He’ll be 5’8” as an adult, so average, but small next to Alex because he refuses to work out when he doesn't have to.
Lizzie: As an adult, she’s 6 foot and adds half an inch in between 18-20. She has been eating a lot of protein for a long time and as an adult, she has a fair amount of muscle. She has straight brown hair that is to her chin on the side of her hair that isn’t buzzed. She has been known to have team-related designs cut into the shaved side of her head.
Trey: He will end up a couple inches taller than Bitty, but he is basically almost a copy of his biological dad.
Ariel: 5’7” dirty blonde hair. Looks like someone a hockey player would date. Determined to not date hockey player and be a stereotype. May or may not succeed.
Asher: Looks like Matty with lighter hair and blue eyes instead of brown. NGL, I just decided his eye color.
Morgan: 6’1” light brown skin as an adult. Black hair that she usually wears in braids. Fairly muscled.
Taylor: 6 foot. He’s black with a deep skin tone. If Jeff was with him and Reaper at the same time, people always assumed he was Reaper’s kid. He’s athletic in the sense that he plays sports in high school, but will just do intermural sports for fun in college.
Darius: As an adult, he’ll be 5’7”. He’s black and absolutely passes for Mills’ biological son. As an adult, he'll look like Brian Michael Smith but with less muscle.
Feel free to ask for updates if I forgot anyone or when I add new characters!

could u guys see josie totah fitting in anywhere? i was thinking madison mccarthy, but then i realized finding a match for a biological twin would be pretty tricky
oh most definitely! i would absolutely love to see josie totah around here. there’s always room to find a fc mason so don’t worry about that, so you’re always able to apply as madison. but, you could have josie as harmony, marissa, missy gunderson, or even one of the skanks.

Donald (Steve) Holman, 91, of Indianapolis passed away Monday July 24th 2023.
Don was born in Benedict Virginia February 27th 1932 to Edd Barton Holman and (Mary) Elizabeth (Bolinsky) Holman. He was their second child of eight. He Married (Ramona) Gail (McCormick) Holman on June 30th 1956 in Indianapolis. He attended St Charles High School and graduated High School while attending Bob Jones University. He moved to Indianapolis where he met Gail and they lived and raised their family.
Don contracted polio at age four which influenced the path of his life. Don hitch hiked his way to Indianapolis from Virginia and began working at Kingan & Co. then Mayflower Trucking as well as operating his own business (Maple Ridge Upholstery) with his brother-in-law Harry Daniels. One evening while he was out enjoying the town he was requested to help a beautiful young woman back her car into a parking space. Don had just met the Love of His Life Gail Holman. Don had the gift of gab and never short on conversation with all.
When younger he rarely hired anyone to do anything as it seemed he had the skills to tackle everything himself such as mechanic, mason, contractor, accountant… Don always had a smile on his face when he knew Brandi (their special assistant) was arriving. The Family is grateful for Brandi White for the last year. She provided such friendship, love and guidance.
He was a loving, kind and honest gentleman and will be missed by those who knew him.
Don is preceded in death by: Mother: Elizabeth Holman, Father: Edd Holman, Siblings: Jim Holman, Carl Holman & Janie Holman, Sister in Law: Betty Holman, Brother in Law: James Hall. Don is survived by: his Wife: Gail Holman, Daughter: LaDonna (Holman) Strakis (Steve), Son: Adam Holman (Rose), Siblings: Naomi Hall , Patsy Pielert (Ronnie), Sandy Daniels (Harry), Marcy Endsley (Doug), Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren: Megan (Holman) Bardot (Andy – Cordelia), Jacob Strakis, Joe Strakis (Marissa), Derek Holman (Becky – Isaac – Julianna), Jesse Strakis (Patti Davis), Many Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral service will take place 1 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan – Decatur Township, 5463 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46221, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from Noon until time of service.
