Hello! Can you recommend any overview/introductory resources on israel? I've been able to find some that are very critical of Israel, but I've found that a lot of the pro-Israel stuff is either entirely focused on the now (instead of giving an overview at least of the history) or assume a certain amount of background knowledge that I just don't have. Thank you!

One good book is "Israel, a History" by Martin Gilbert. It was published in 1998, so anything after that isn't covered. It's still over 700 dense pages, but it is a good history. I've read it. It's good. Another one that others have recommended is, "Israel, a Concise History," by Daniel Gordis. It was published in 2016, so it is more up to date. At only 560 pages, it's also shorter. Genocide (1982). Orson Welles and Elizabeth Taylor compassionately narrate this harrowing documentary about Jewish persecution in Nazi Germany, which soon turned into a notoriously industrious plan to wipe them from existence.

A profoundly affecting documentary that gives the survivors of the Holocaust a voice and real empathy in the process. It's harrowing, and not an easy watch, but it does feel like an important one too. 8/10.

This is what Rush wanted in their dressing room. This was during "Presto Tour." This particular show took place at the Civic Auditorium Arena in Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. Big was the opener.

They were specific as to what they wanted for food and drink. Some bands and artists put things in these things to see if they pay attention and follow it.

Van Halen would put in to have the brown M&Ms removed for that exact purpose. Always follow what they want if requested.

Someone in the group said they called it and got something. Can't make out the last four numbers. I called what I thought the last four numbers are. Let it ring three times and got nothing.
