Duck told me to make this post and I’m willing to bet they think I won’t, but I’m made of spite so here. I finally finished watching season 2 of Good Omens and was thinking about while listening to Spotify. My current favorite song came up and I realized how perfect “Killing Kind” by Mariana’s Trench is if you think of it as Crowley’s POV at the end of the season/beginning of the next one.
There’s some self loathing, some requests for the other to stay with them, a bit of an anguished cry between the beginning and the middle section of the song, etc etc. I could go on and on and on, but has anyone else thought about this?

Y'ALL omg I just realized how much Marianas Trench's music relates to Aziracrow. Like. Ridiculously so. Probably at least half of their songs and even the emotional concepts behind multiple albums are so incredibly Aziracrow it's insane. And their epic pieces they tend to do for the 1st and last songs on their albums often have a similar feel to Bohemian Rhapsody which just feels so perfect 😭
I might just make a playlist (not just of MT songs but a lot of them) because holy shit

I just remembered that when I first was reading Good Omens I got to the bit about how the world was formed on October 21st and looked at my calendar on my phone and almost threw it across the room because, lo and behold, it was October 21st. Fated book for me.

A Case of Identity (Part 1)
I loved this new episode. Seeing something more John-led and on a stranger side, really incorporating modernism into these adaptations. I can't wait to read the original story after this, I'm super curious on how this could have played out in Victorian London.
There is something wrong with Angel. Seriously wrong.
Some of my favourite moments:

I find it so incredibly immersive that the months in Sherlock&Co match realtime, and I know because–they're you know, weekly uploads, but still.
"A pedantic Spanish woman who gets excited by spreadsheets, and the other is a violinist detective who doesn't know who Beyoncé is." I love his priorities.
Okay psychoanalyst Mariana. Pop off.

The Dark Veil II intro sounds so much like a marketable version of the Merlin BBC theme song. All hail Firelard John!
