A Comedy for Generations, Driving Me Crazy Takes to the Road,
Rolling down the freeway of life comes Driving Me Crazy, crashing onto stages around Metro Vancouver. Produced by Serendipity Theatre Collective in association with the PHT Creative HUB, where it opens a tour of BC with two performances at Presentation House Theatre this February 25 & 26 before setting off on the road.

Written by Linda A. Carson and Suzanne Ristic, Driving Me Crazy received honourable mention in the 2019 National Theatre B.C. Playwriting competition. Its crowd-pleasing premier took place in June 2022 to sold out houses at Presentation House Theatre.
“In this fast-paced world, so much of our family time happens inside our cars. A lot of important conversations happen when we are driving” says playwright Linda Carson.
Driving Me Crazy follows a family and their relationships with each other as experienced via their vehicles. Inspired by stories from three generations starting with Liz, a grandmother fighting to keep her driver’s license, her independence, and her voice in society. Liz is surrounded by her family: a son and daughter-in-law who are addicted to their cars, a granddaughter who is passionate about the environmental fight against oil guzzling vehicles, and a grandson on his way to learn hard lessons about drinking and driving.
Directed by Roy Surette and starring Ellie King, Brian Linds, Suzanne Ristic, Merewyn Cormeau and Dylan Floyde, Driving Me Crazy will touch anyone who has driving a car, been driven in a car, or driven mad by their family.

Maple Ridge is a city in British Columbia, located midway between the Fraser River and the Golden Ears, a set of mountain peaks that are the southernmost of the Garibaldi Ranges of the Coast Mountains.
Maple Ridge is a city in British Columbia, located midway between the Fraser River and the Golden Ears, a set of mountain peaks that are the southernmost of the Garibaldi Ranges of the Coast Mountains. The municipality comprises four distinct communities: Websters Corners, Albion, Thornhill, and Silver Valley.
The city of Maple Ridge was incorporated in 1874. It covers an area of approximately 33 square kilometres (13 sq mi), and its urban core occupies about 5.5 square kilometres (2.1 sq mi). The surrounding rural area comprises mixed-use zoning, predominantly residential single-detached homes in the south and west, and forestry and agricultural lands in the north and east.
The areas of Maple Ridge closest to the Fraser River are heavily industrialized, while the areas further away from the river are predominantly rural. The Golden Ears Bridge serves the city, connecting it to Pitt Meadows and Langley Township in the Fraser Valley.

- Muikamachi, Niigata, Japan
- Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany
The city is represented by two members of the House of Commons of Canada, one of the Senate of Canada, and two of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. The current mayor is Mike Morden.
Population
The population of Maple Ridge was determined to be 76,052 in the 2011 Census. Like many other Metro Vancouver communities, Maple Ridge has a temperate coastal rainforest climate. The average daily temperature in July is 17.5°C/63.5°F, and the average daily temperature is 1.8°C/35.2°F in January.
Things to Do and Living.
Maple Ridge, located between the Fraser River and the magnificent Golden Ears Mountain to the north, is a fantastic place to go hiking or skiing.
The Village of Maple Ridge is located in the city's northeast region, which includes town squares, a vibrant retail district, and a beautiful park. The Haney downtown core is known as "Haney," and it hosts several festivals and annual parades, including the Rogers Santa Claus Parade, the Jazz & Blues Festival, and the Caribbean Festival.

Economy and Employment.
Forestry firms continue to be the district's primary private-sector employers. Interfor and firms that make building materials, boats, and poles are among them. The soil and climate aren't ideal for traditional food production, but the Maple Ridge agriculture sector does a lot of business in berry production, nurseries, and horse breeding.
The public sector is also a big employer in Maple Ridge. School District No. 42 is the district's largest, while Fraser Health and Correctional Service Canada also have large presences.
Maple Ridge has many job opportunities for those with the right skills and qualifications. The city's top five employers are:

Education.
Maple Ridge is served by School District No. 42, which operates 16 elementary schools, six secondary schools, and one adult education centre.
The district also operates two alternative education programs: Maple Ridge Secondary School's ARC program and Garibaldi Secondary School's Phoenix program.
There are also several private schools in Maple Ridge, including Meadowridge School, Golden Ears Christian Academy, Fraser River Montessori School, and Maple Ridge Christian School.
Two post-secondary institutions are located in Maple Ridge: Douglas College and Vancouver Career College.
