𝐏𝐎𝐕: Your ex-boyfriend Pedro complains to his "best friend" since he began to invent gossip where they said that you were cheating on him with a friend of yours, everything turned into chaos and the worst thing is that Pedro believed those lies and they ended up on bad terms.

He’s trying not to look. He really is but you're not making it easy.
Maker, it isn’t your fault he finds you irresistible.
Here you are innocently helping him fix his ship and all he can think about is how it would feel to fuck you from behind. It’s been going on for weeks now. Every time you bend down, your ass coming into his view, Mandos mind seems to venture to sinful thoughts. He didn’t know why it’d started, you'd been with him for months now and even though he’d realized he had a thing for you days ago he’d only recently started to see you in this new light. A light that made him feel like his pants were too tight and made his breath become uneven.
“Kriffing metal piece of-shit!”
“What’s wrong?”
“There’s a part that needs replacing.”
“You can’t fix it?”
“No, it's completely rusted. Not a surprise though. When was the last time you put some oil on this thing?”
In all honesty Mando had no idea the compartment you were currently tinkering with existed much less that he needed to oil it. You took his silence as an answer, shaking your head.
“Well, lucky for us there is a shop in town that deals in ship parts. They should have what we need.”
The two of you walked through the crowded town. Dins hand rested on his blaster, eyes looking around for any signs of trouble. You held the new part you purchased in your hand. The owner of the shop had asked for a fair price and to your surprise the piece was in rather good condition. You glanced to the side, eyes catching on a small shop. You didn’t notice the person walking towards you until their shoulder bumped into yours. You stumbled your hand releasing the part you held. It fell to the ground with a dull thud. You bent down to get it.
Mando had been too focused on a sketchy looking man to notice you’d stopped walking. His body collided into yours, his hands instinctively moved to hold onto your frame. Mandos' eyes widened beneath his helmet as he realized the position he now found himself in. His hands rested on your hips keeping you steady. You were bent forward, your ass pushed against his groin. By some force of nature Din had found himself in the exact position he’d been thinking about for the past few days.
In the middle of a crowded street.
In front of a bunch of strangers.
Mando didn’t touch you often. He usually avoided coming in contact with your body when possible. So when you felt his grip on your hips you froze. Your head turned to the side, eyes moving up Mandos body until they reached his helmet. Mando started at your shocked expression. He should have let you go already but he couldn’t move. You turned your attention back to the part grabbing it in your hand. Once it was securely in your palm you slowly started to rise. Mandos' hands remained glued to you as you moved. You finally managed to get upright and you immediately regretted it.
You could feel his body pressed against yours. A small sigh left your lips at the feeling. Maker it had been so long since you’d been this close to someone.  Beneath his helmet Mando shut his eyes taking a deep breath in. You felt so soft against him. Your body was a warm contrast against the chilled metal that constantly surrounded him. His fingers flexed against your skin digging into the meat of your hips. You let out a sharp intake of breath. The noise made Mando open his eyes. He watched you rest your head against his shoulder blade, your eyes closed and lips slightly parted. You’d exposed your neck to him and the only thing he could think about was sinking his teeth into you. Mando called out your name causing you to furrow your brows before opening your eyes slowly. You tilted your head slightly so that you could stare at the T shape of his visor. You should have been embarrassed, maybe even a little ashamed, of how you were behaving but you weren't. You’d longed for Din’s touch for a long time and now that you had it, you weren’t going to waste your time worrying about it. You were going to savor this moment. No matter how little it lasted.
“We have to get out of here.”
Mandos' modulated voice sounded strange. He sounded like he’d just ran a mile. It was then that you realized you had the same effect on him that he had on you.
Mando struggled to center himself as he dragged you towards the crowd. You stumbled after him, your hand grasping him tightly as you tried to keep up with his speed. You’d passed two motels on the way and it had taken everything inside Mando to not rent a room and get you naked as fast as possible. But he didn’t want to seem that desperate so he shook the thoughts out of his head.
You were getting close to the ship now, just a little bit longer and you’d get to feel him again.
Din smashed his hand against the hull's panel, a growl escaping his lips as he waited for the door to open all the way. Once it did, he dragged you inside the ship. You placed the part on top of a counter quickly turning to face Mando once more. You watched him slam his fist into the inside panel, making the door close again before he spun to look at you. You stare at him, your chest rising and falling rapidly as you wait for him to do something. Mandos' hands moved to his armor tugging at the metal desperately.
“Help me cyar'ika.”
You rushed over to him, your own hand tugging at the beskar that covered him. For the first time you were looking at him without his armor and even with his flight suit still on you could see everything. Mando moved forward, stepping away from the pile of metal and making his way to you. His arms wrapped around your frame tugging you into his body. You gasped at the feeling of him. Unlike his armor he was incredibly warm and soft. You sighed into him, your head moving to rest against his neck. Mando groped you ass making you squeal.
“Ah Din!”
He loved the way his name sounded coming out of your lips. You felt his hands move towards your front. You moaned as he stroked your clothed cunt with his fingers. Your hands moved to his head trying to grasp onto his hair only to remember he was still using his helmet. Din seemed to sense the disappointment in your body, his fingers stopping his teasing. His other hand made its way to your face, tugging your chin up so that you were looking at his visor. Your pupils were blown wide and your face was slightly flushed. Din smiled under his helmet. Maker if this is how you reacted to his fingers he wondered how you would look after he’d bent you over and fucked you stupid.
“Tell me what you want.”
“What?”
“Saw you pouting about something. What is it?”
You bit into your lip. The truth is you wanted to see his face but you couldn’t ask him for that. You respected his allegiance to the Mandalore and his beliefs far too much to be that selfish but you really wanted to be able to feel him properly. You wanted to kiss and and hear his unfiltered grunts as he fucked you.
‘Mesha’la. Tell me what you want.”
“You can't give me what I want.”
“How can you know that if you didn’t even ask me for it?”
“I want to kiss you.”
Mandos' body stiffens at your words, his hand resting on your cheek as he tries to think about what you’d just said. You move against him taking a step back.
“It’s okay i know you can’t it was stupid to-”
“Close your eyes.”
You stopped walking backwards, your mouth opening and closing as you tried to think of something to say. Mando tilts his head to the side and despite not saying anything you know what he’s asking. You do as he asked, eyes closing. You hear the hiss of his helmet being released and you almost stop breathing. Mando makes his way over to you, his hand finding your cheek once more.
“Promise to keep them closed.”
His voice sounds majestic without the modulator.
“I promise.”
“Good girl.”
Before you can even respond his lips are on yours. You groan into his mouth, your tongue darting out to ask him for entrance. He understands your request, his lips opening to let you in. Your tongues move together. The kiss isn't pretty, it's visceral. Your hands grab onto any part of Din you can and he does the same to you. You're so lost in the taste of him you barely register the fact that he's pulled your pants down to your ankles. It's only when you feel his fingers against your pussy that you realize your bareness. Din bites into your shoulder as he pistols his fingers into you. You melt into his hands latching onto his curls as you moan. His name leaves your lips like a prayer and he swears he’ll never forget the sound.
“Din pleasee.”
“What is it mesha’la? What do you want?”
“I need you inside Din-ugh ah- wanna feel you.”
“Fuck cyar'ika.”
He spins you around so fast that you almost fall to the ground. You brace yourself against the cold wall, brows furring as you listen to Mando unzip his flight suit.
“Give me your hand.”
You lift your hand to Dins face. He licks a strip down your palm before maneuvering your arm to twist downwards. A gasp leaves your lips as you feel his dick against your hand. You begin stroking him and he moans.
“Yeah just like that fuck.”
He lets you stroke him a bit before pulling your hand away. You whine at the lack of contact.
“I thought you wanted me inside.”
“I do.”
“Can’t be inside you if i’m fucking your hand meshala.”
It sounds strange to hear such dirty words coming out of Din's mouth. You like it though. You wonder what noises he’ll make when he’s balls deep in you. The thought makes you nudge your ass against him. Mando gets the massage. His toys with you a bit, sliding his dick against your folds for a moment before plugging in. The sound that leaves your lips isn’t natural. Din groans into your neck as your walls flutter around him.
“Move please Din move.”
He started rocking into you slowly. Your hands move against the cold wall, trying to find something to grab onto but coming on empty. You throw your hand behind your head searching for Dins curls. Once you find them you latch your fingers onto his scalp tugging at him as he pistols into you. You can hear your knees bainging against the wall as Din fucks you, you’re sure to wake up with bruises tomorrow but you don’t care. You focus on the grunt Din lets out as his dick spears into you. He’s a lot more vocal than you’d imagined.
“Din i’m close…”
“Me to just a little more-ugh fuck me-a little more.”
Dins hands trail against your hips moving to your front. His fingers search for your clit moving expertly against the bud. Your eyes roll to the back of your head as you cum. Din feels you milking his cock the feeling of your walls sucking him in making his hips sputter. His pace fastens and pretty soon he's filling you with his seed. You slump against the wall body sagging as your energy drains out of you. Din rests his head against the metal hull, his breathing coming unsteady. The two of you stay like that for a moment each one trying to come back to reality.
“I’m never oiling any part of this ship again.”
You laugh at Dins words, head turning to give him a kiss.
“Maybe i’ll have to start dropping stuff in front of you more often.”
“Don’t tempt me mesha’la. I’ll fuck you on every surfess of this ship if you let me.”
“Oh yeah? That a threat or a promise?”
“Guess you’ll have to find out.”

“But would you like to be?”
His words echoed inside my head as I tried to decipher what he meant. Was he asking me to marry him? I didn’t want to jump to conclusions and get my hopes up. We still hadn’t actually defined what we were to one another. So, in my eyes, going from ‘no real label but basically in a relationship that no one actually knows the true nature of’ to engaged just didn’t seem possible. Right?
I convinced myself it was crazy for that to be what he really meant. I mean sure we were practically together but Maul had never explicitly said we were, so we weren’t. Right? That is how this is supposed to work.
I was working myself up. Maul’s voice is what finally snapped me out of my downward spiral.
“Yn, can you hear me? Are you alright?” He asked, hand resting on my shoulder as he hunched over slightly to look me in the eyes.
I stared at him blankly, trying to get my thoughts to quiet down.
“My love you are worrying me. Can you just nod so I know you’re hearing me?” He asked gently.
I nodded.
“Good. I was saying that I know it’s sudden. I know we haven't officially been in a public relationship, but there is something between us that’s clearly much more than close friends, having and raising a child together. I love you, Yn. I know I am not the best at expressing the way I feel at times, but I need you to know that there should never be a doubt that I love you because I do, I have and I always will. I want to make you mine. If you’ll let me…. I don't need an answer now. You can take some time to think it over.”
The last time he had said those two sentences to me was back when he first asked me to carry his heir for him. And just like when he said them then, I knew I didn’t need time to think anything over. I loved him.
I began to shake my head, tears welling up in my eyes.
“I don’t need to think anything over.” I stopped shaking my head and began nodding, “I love you too, Maul. Always have, always will.” I repeated his words, “Plus I think Yn Opress has a pretty nice ring to it, don’t you think?” I joked.
He nodded, “I think does, definitely more so than Kryze.” He said, making me smile.
A weight that I didn’t even know was sitting on my chest was lifted off of it. I was finally getting rid of the thing that tied me to them. I felt like I was finally freed from them.
Maul grabbed my hand and gave it a quick squeeze before bringing it up to his lips and pressing a kiss to my knuckles. Then he stood up.
“I’ll be right back, my love.” He said gently.
I watched as he walked into the bedroom as I leaned back into the couch, slouching a bit and letting my belly stick out more than it already does. I put my hands on the sides of it so I could feel him move as I spoke to him.
“Did you hear that, big guy? We’re getting married.” I said.
I felt him kick and smiled, “I know, it’s exciting, isn’t it?”
“Who are you talking to?” Maul’s voice made me jump, I hadn’t expected him to be that quick.
“I was talking to our son.” I said, pushing myself to sit back up.
“Well I would hate to interrupt but I have something for you.”  He said with a smirk.
“We’ll talk later, ik'aad (baby).” I said.
I didn’t speak in Mando’s often, but lately, I have taken to the nickname for the baby. I pushed myself to sit up as Maul walked over. He had his hands collapsed behind his back clearly hiding whatever it was that he had for me.
“Close your eyes and hold out your hand.” He instructed.
I did as he asked and waited. He placed a small object in my hand. I could tell it was a piece of jewelry, the metal cool against my skin. I would have assumed it was a ring given the current circumstances, but it felt like there was a chain attached to it.
“Okay, open.”
I did and saw the most beautiful ring attached to a silver chain in the palm of my hand. Upon seeing the clear gem with the blank bands throughout it I had a hunch as to what it was. I was pretty sure it was Haxonzite, a crystal native to only the planet Dathomir.
“Maul… it’s stunning. The stone is, Haxonzite, correct?” I asked, admiring the ring.
“It is… and it’s not actually silver. It’s beskar. I wanted it to have a bit of both of our homeworlds in it.”
I felt the tears prick at my eyes, “It’s perfect. I love it so much.”
“I am glad you like it. I went ahead and put it on a chain so we could wait until after he is born to get it sized correctly. I remembered you saying some of your rings haven’t fit lately.”
He was right, I had some swelling in my hands recently, but when I brought up my concerns to the medic droid but was assured that it wasn’t anything to worry about but to keep an eye on it.
“Thank you. Will you help me put it on?” I said holding it back out for him to take.
“Of course.” He took it from me and unclasped it.
Then he carefully reached around me and then brought the chain up and around my neck before clasping it. It hung just above my beast, which meant I could wear it with most of my dresses and blouses to work and tuck it in so no one would see it.
I reached up and picked it up, tilting my head down to admire it one last time. It didn’t feel real. Truly, it was unimaginable to me that not only was I having a baby with the man I loved, but we were now engaged. I turned around to face him and immediately leaned over to kiss him. He immediately responded, kissing me back and bringing his hand up to cup my cheek. I shuffled a bit in my seat trying to turn to face him better. The task was easier said than done, I managed though all without breaking the kiss. Once I was facing him more, I brought my hands up to grab the hems of his open tunic and pulled him closer.
I could tell he got the hint that this wasn’t a single kiss to say “thank you, I love you” it was more of a segway into a whole experience that says “thank you, I love you, let me show you.’ His tongue grazed my bottom lip and before it even reached halfway across it, I was already parting my lips to let him in.
It’s like he was surrounding me in every way possible. I could taste him as his tongue explored my mouth like he hasn’t done so a hundred times before. I could smell the cologne he put on this morning. That mixing with the subtle, burnt, and smokey smell that always seemed to linger on him was absolutely intoxicating. The sound of his small grunts and groans were spurring me on, knowing that if this went further I would get the chance to hear even more from him. By now, My hands let go of the edges of his tunic in favor of pressing my hands against his broad, tattooed chest. I swear he had to of been sculpted by the Maker himself, he was so perfect. Although my eyes were closed, I could see him in all his perfection as well. But I wasn’t seeing him in this moment, kissing me. I saw him in the future, doing all things I wished we were already doing now. My brain felt fuzzy.
Maul pulling away is what ultimately made my eyes open. I was met with the sight of him smirking at me. I knew what that smirk meant and it was exciting.
“So that’s what you want me to do to you, hm?” He asked his voice low.
“Fuck me.”
“You’re getting straight to the point aren’t you, darling?” He teased.
“What can I say? I know what I want.”
He huffed, amused at my statement before bringing one hand to cup my cheek and the other to rest on my side, “How are your hips feeling today? They hurt at all?”
I was slightly confused but nonetheless, I answered his question, “No, they’ve actually felt fine.”
He nodded, clearly pleased by my answer, “Good, because I want to see you…” he paused as his hands moved from my face and side to my bump, “all of you.”
I gave him a look that read, “Seriously?”
“Don’t worry, dear, I’ll help you.” He said, dropping his hands and clasping them behind his back before he turned around and began to walk off to the bedroom.
I watched him walk away and just as he was crossing the threshold to the room, he paused. “My love, I cannot fuck you if you’re all the way over there.”
That got my feet moving. I walked into the room and glanced around to find him over by the refresher door, by the large mirror, already removing his tunic.
I leaned on the frame of the doorway and watched as he undressed. The way the muscles in his back flecked under black ink that adorned his skin had me subconsciously biting my lip as I stared.
“And you said I was straight to the point.” I teased, before pushing off the doorframe and walking over.
“Always with the attitude.” He teased me right back as he turned around and stepped forward to meet me. He leaned down to bring his lips to mine and gave me a long, slow kiss.
Quickly, our clothes were removed, and all the while kisses were being shared. Once we were both completely nude, Maul stopped and stepped behind me, giving me an unobstructed view of myself, wearing nothing but the thin chain holding the ring around my neck, in the mirror. His body was pressed right up against mine and I could feel his hard cock pressing against me.
“You feel that?” He pressed his hips forward slightly to ensure I knew exactly what he was talking about even though I didn’t need any clarification on it.
“You do this to me, darling. Every time I see you like this, it’s the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. You carry my son so well. Truly stunning.” He said between kissing my neck as his hands came around to rest on my bump.
I blushed at his words. It has been hard at times to look at myself and still feel beautiful with the changes that my body was going through, but Maul was there to constantly remind me how beautiful I was as I grew and carried our son. I turned around in his hold and kissed him. He gently pulled me a little closer, mindful not to squish the bump. Just like before he quickly took control of the kiss before he began to slowly walk backward, using his hands on my lower back to guide me along with him.
Once we got to the bed he broke the kiss to sit down a position himself on the bed. Once he was good, he reached out his hand to me.
“Come here, my love.”
I took it and allowed him to help me climb over him so my knees rested on either side of his thighs.
“Does that feel okay?” He asked, leaning forward to give me a quick kiss.
I nodded, “Yeah. I’m okay.”
“You tell me if anything begins to feel uncomfortable or if your hips or thighs begin to hurt. Okay?”
“I will.” I promised, punctuating it with a kiss.
“Good girl.” He mumbled against my lips as he pulled away just enough to mutter the words before he was kissing me again.
I felt something beginning to just barely trace light circles over my clit. It caused me to jump slightly as I wasn’t expecting it seeing as my hands were still on Maul’s shoulders and his were on my lower back. I knew he was using the force to do it. He laughed lightly against my lips at my reaction.
“Not fair.” I muttered back.
“I could stop.” he said, pulling away from my lips to move on to making a mark on my neck.
The sensation was gone and it almost had me whining from the loss of contact. “Don’t stop, please. Do it again. More please.” I begged.
The feeling returned this time with more pressure than before. I began to grind down slightly on his thighs. I desperately wanted his cock inside of me.
“So impatient.” Maul teased, pulling away entirely. “But, your wish is my command, though.” He gave me one last quick kiss before he laid back flat against the mattress.
I leaned forward slightly and put my hands on his chest to help lift myself up. Once he was lined up, I slowly began to ease myself down. I had to take it slow. The stretch felt different than when I’ve been laying down when we have sex. Now, I was working with gravity. It was trying to pull me down which made the stretch feel much bigger than it did before, not that I was complaining. I closed my eyes and let out a shaky breath, it always took me a minute or two to take him on the first try.
“Fuck.” I sighed sinking lower.
“You’re doing so good, love.” Maul praised me, causing my walls to clench slightly, earning a small groan from him.
Once I had sunk all the way down, taking him completely I stayed there for a moment.
“Are you okay?” Maul asked gently.
I nodded, “Huge.” I sighed, already high off of the feeling, brain foggy.
“But you take me so well.” He said, running his hands up and down my thighs.
The praise is what spurred me to start moving. I lifted myself up and then sunk back down, Maul met me on the way back down, thrusting his hips ups, pulling a moan of his name from my lips. I felt the pressure on clit return which sent my mind into complete overdrive. I was in absolute heaven. It felt amazing. I then realized, my legs weren’t getting even the slightest bit sore, it hit me, Maul wasn’t just using the force on my clit he was also using it to help ease the strain on my quads.
I sped up my pace and was reduced to an absolute mess of moans. Maul’s name left my lips in a repeated chant.
Maul’s PoV
The sight before me was on I wanted to commit to memory. Yn, my fiance, bouncing up and down on my cock, looking stunning. She was absolutely perfect in every way. Seeing her belly grow, knowing it was our son she was carrying, that it was I who had put that baby there struck a nerve deep within me. It ignited the primal, breeding nature inside of me.
Seeing her like this, knowing she was mine with that ring bouncing up and down on the chain in time with her riding my cock, was a sight I would never tire of. My hands gripped her thighs, surly the force of my fingertips would leave a few marks. Hearing her moan my name was about to send me over the edge. I felt her squeeze my cock and that was what did me in.
Reader’s PoV
Maul grabbed my hips and pulled me down hard onto him as he came deep inside me. The feeling of his warm cum painting my walls sent me into my own climax. I hunched over slightly as my walls clamped down on him and I came hard. Maul’s hand moved from my hips to my shoulders to help support me as my body went numb in ecstasy. My hands were gripping his shoulders, nails digging into his back.
Once we had both recovered enough, he carefully was helping off of him. I laid down beside him, on my side facing him. He turned to look at me and smiled.
“What?” I asked quietly. A hush had fallen over the room. It was a stark contrast to the sound of our moans and skin against skin that had filled the room and echoed off the walls just minutes ago. I didn’t want to disturb the quiet.
“You’re just so perfect, Yn. I can scarcely remember my life before you. I think my mind has forced out all that it could after you came along. You’ve always been nothing shy of perfect to me. I am overwhelmed at the idea that I will soon beagle to call you my wife, my queen.”

The two Mandalorians
Summary: On a mission things get a little violent and a familiar armoured guy turns up just in time. Mando, of course. They fight together to collect the bounty and like I said things get a little violent.
Includes: Violence, blood, gore (briefly) and spoilers for The Book of Boba Fett.
Word count: 1.1K
I scrunch my face up as the smell of dead animals floods my senses. Staring at the door in front of me I sigh before pushing it open. The floor below me is covered in water, presumably from cleaning, I lift up my foot and lower it back down creating a squelching sound. I roll my eyes under my mask before continuing towards a doorway covered in strips of plastic. I look at the dirty strips of plastic before pushing them out of the way.
I step through the doorway and look around at the creatures hacking away at animal carcasses. They speak in a different language and ignore me as I walk past them, slowly. A couple of them look towards me as I head towards the next door. Another one with plastic strips. I push past the strips and instantly I’m the centre of attention. Five or six pairs of eyes on me. I walk towards the guy I assume is the boss.
“You look lost.” He states.
“I’m here for Kaba Baiz.” I say. He looks towards his workers before looking back at me.
“What makes you think he’s here?” I pull out my tracker and it flashes beeping. “What do you want of him?” You’d think it'd be obvious.
“He owes someone important money.” I say. This is the guy, the picture matches up with him even though he’s trying to hide it.
“Who?” He replies gruffly.
“That’s not my business. I’m here to bring him in.” He looks at the guy next to him.
“Well, if I see him, I’ll let him know.”
“I can see him right now.” I say slowly and pull out the hologram and it reveals himself. He laughs nervously looking around.
“That’s not me. That doesn’t even look like me.” He says dismissively.
“I’m gonna give the rest of you the opportunity to walk out that door.” I indicate to the other workers. “I have no quarrel with you.”
“They’re not going anywhere.” He says surely. “Looks to me like you’re surrounded.” I raise my eyebrows under my helmet. “But you look like the practical type. Let’s discuss our options.”
“I can bring you in warm, or I can bring you in cold.” I say slowly reaching for my blaster.
Suddenly one of the workers charges at me, grabbing my arm. He bites me and I groan before head butting him, he stumbles backwards as the others join in.
“Attack.” I hear one of them say.
One of them tries to cut my leg with a sword but it only scratches my armour. Another jumps on my back and I try to throw him off but end up reaching for my knife stabbing him in the side. He lets go and his hands fly to the wound. One of the workers blasts me in the head multiple times and I turn around pulling out my blaster ready to shoot but a blade cuts through his stomach from behind. He stops shooting and falls to the ground revealing a familiar armoured man.
Din Djarin.
I shoot another one as he cuts off a worker's hand (the one holding the blaster). One of them shoots Mando in the head and I blast him twice in the chest, he falls over quickly after. He slices another guy in half as well as an animal carcass whilst a worker throws a punch at me. I crouch down stabbing my knife into his chest dragging it down to his legs. None of them left. I stay down breathing slightly accelerated.
I groan as the worker’s organs and blood fall out of his body onto me, he falls over as I try to wipe off some of the body. I stand up as the boss starts shooting at Mando. He stabs him with his blade and pushes him onto the table, cutting the both in half.
One of the workers timidly stands up from out of the corner, I point my knife at him and he turns around and runs out of the door. I walk over to the dead creature laying on the table and cut off his head, Mando passes me a bag and I wrap it up.
“Wanna split the bounty?” I ask him, tying the bag.
“Yeah.”
We walk out of the room, the head in the bag. Mando is limping, he accidentally cut himself with his blade.
There’s a crowd of workers looking at us.
“Your boss is dead.” I tell them. “We’re here to collect on his bounty.”
“I have no trouble with any of you.” Mando continues and they stare at the bag in my hand. “There’s a pile of New Republic credits in there that we have no right to. If you do me the honour of letting us pass, you all can help yourselves to whatever you think you deserve from your former employer.”
They look at each other hesitantly before one of the workers carefully walks around us into the room. Others follow after him, running into the room. They cheer as they find the money.
Mando walks in front still limping and I follow behind him. We make it outside and I look for his ship but I can’t see it.
“Do you need a ride?” I ask him still looking for a ship.
“Yes. Thank you.”
“Well, we’re going to the same place after all.” He grunts a reply but I can’t tell whether he’s agreeing or just in pain.
We walk towards my ship, it’s not far away. I offer my arm out to him to lean on (as a crutch) as he’s limping. He looks at my arm, stops then places his hand on my shoulder and we keep walking. I press a few buttons on my holographic watch and the door to my ship opens. Mando lets go of my shoulder and limps onto the ship.
Knowing his way around the ship he makes his way to the small hospital room. Being a bounty hunter you get injured a lot so I added the room a while ago. I follow after him and he perches on the side of the counter opening the box of stim canisters. He pulls one out of the box and injects it into his leg, groaning.
I walk back out of the medical room and climb up the ladder into the cockpit, I flick and press the relevant dials and buttons as the engines start up. Mando emerges from the ladder as the ship takes off. Once into space I leave the ship on autopilot settings and empty my pockets. I grab the New Republic credits and drop them on the dashboard counting them up.
“You stole the dead guy’s credits?”
“Uh huh.” He sits in the chair next to me.
“You stole credits from a dead man.”
“I’ve done worse.” I say smirking up at him before going back to counting the credits.
I love Din Djarin and I was so excited when he turned up in The Book Of Boba Fett. I enjoyed writing for him!
Hopefully this will have a part two. This was kind of short, sorry about that.

I Will Wait | Din Djarin x gn!reader
request: Can I request the mandalorian with the prompt "I'll be here, I'll wait for you"
Thanks - anonymous
summary: no matter what, you'll wait for Din.
pronouns used: they/them
warnings: swearing
"Don't worry, kid," Din said softly as he looked down at the Child. "They'll be home, they usually are this time of night."
At least, he had hoped so. He had hoped that you were home, he hoped that you would be home and would dancing to those slow, slow songs that, when he saw it, made him smile behind the helmet as he watched; he had hoped that you had waited up for him and his return. The Child was so tired, falling asleep in the sling that Din had on his chest. It was so late. Maybe you were asleep, he thought, maybe you were asleep and you had not heard him knock.
But then the door opened, and he heard those slow, slow songs playing so, so faintly, and he relaxed a little; when you called out for him to come inside, he did so without any hesitation, and when he found you leaning against the counter trying to fix an old necklace, he found his shoulder slumped.
"Oh my god," you didn't even look at him as you gently brought the Child out from the sling and held him in your arms as if he were your own. "Who's this little guy?"
Din swallowed thickly, thinking he could tell you the whole story tomorrow, there wasn't time right now, it was so late and he just needed to see you. "He, uh, he's travelling with me for a while."
You grabbed a blanket from the back of the sofa, wrapped the Child in it gently, and held him in your arms with a smile. "He's your kid, isn't he?"
Din nodded. "Yeah."
You hummed, but when you realised how tired the poor kid was, you frowned, and you gently laid him on the sofa, protected by pillows and an extra blanket. "I can look after him, if you're-"
"It's okay," Din reassured. "I just... you got my message."
"Yeah, I got it," you whispered, letting Din sit beside his child as you busied yourself with getting drinks, making sure to put a straw in his. "You can stay as long as you like, baby, you know that."
He was thankful, more so than what he could bring himself to admit. "Even with the kid?"
"Especially with the kid," you replied. "You know how much I care about you, though, Din... you know you've always got a place in my bed."
"Thank you," he murmured.
"The kid will be safe here anyway," you told him. "Nobody would get him here. Can't say I'm entirely prepared to be a parent, but... I can sure as fuck try."
Din liked that thought, a little family, his own little family; just you, perhaps as his spouse if there was ever time for that, him and the Child. Maybe he could give up bounty hunting, get himself a less dangerous job.
"I'm surprised you waited up for me," he admitted quietly.
"Don't be an idiot," you told him with a shake of your head, kissing the forehead of his helmet despite the metal being cold. "I told you when you left, I'll be here, I'll wait for you no matter what... when your message came through, admittedly, I wasn't expecting it, but I waited. I'd wait a thousand years for you."
"I wouldn't ask you for that," Din replied, "not that long."
You sat beside him, pressing a kiss to the temple of his helmet this time. "I'd wait, though, I'd wait all that time for you."

CHAPTER 9
warnings : language. underage drinking. mention of sex.
   তততততততততত
nobody’s pov
A few hours, meaning 5 to be exact, y/n has been asleep, comfortably without anything to disturb her.
That is until the baby woke up.
The little green baby takes the ball off a lever and plays with it, while Mando sighs and takes it away from him for the fifth time.
“Stop touching things.” Mando tells him. Instead of ‘not touching’ things, the baby chucks the little metal ball at y/n, hitting her on her metal arm, making a ‘clink’ sound, also effectively waking her up.
“Hey- what the hell?” She mutters groggily. “Good morning to you too.” Mando says back. “Ah yes. Bucket head. thanks for not killing me in my sleep.” Y/n says with a smile, as she positions herself upright in the chair.
“No problem?” Mando says again, in a questioning tone. “Has that happened before?” He asks.
“Oh yea!” She answers laughing. “I slept with this girl once, and I woke up with a knife to my throat.” She pulls the collar of her shirt down to reveal a tiny scar right under the right side of her jaw.
“Hm.” Is all she gets in response, then a coo from the baby.
“Let's see.” Mando says, going straight to business now that y/ns up. “Sorgan. Looks like there's no star port, no industrial centers, no population density.” he analyzes.
“Real backwater skug hole. Which means it's perfect for us.” he concludes, his voice less tense than it was a minute ago.
“So what are we fugitives now?” y/n asks sarcastically with a smile. her chin now resting casually on her right hand, which is propped up on the arm of the chair.
“I guess you could say that,” Mando responds. “You ready to lay low and stretch your legs for a couple of months, you little womp rat?” Mando asks towards the green baby.
“He's not a rat, bucket head.” y/n playfully sneers at him. Even though nobody can see, Mando rolls his eyes under the said bucket. y/n picks up the metal ball from the floor, and tosses it at mandos head, making another ‘clink’ sound when it hits the helmet.
“watch it.” he says pointing at her, then picking up the ball before screwing it back on the lever.
“Nobody's gonna find us here.” he says back on topic, before the ship makes a deep, low hum, signaling that it is landing. y/n looks out the window and sees countless trees, all beautiful shades of green.
she hums in approval before the ship jerks to a halt on the ground, and shuts off. y/n turns to Mando about to speak, but is cut off.
“Now listen. I'm gonna go out there and I'm gonna look around. It shouldn't take too long. Now, don't touch anything. I'll find us some lodging, then I'll come back for you two.” the teen and the baby just blink at his long rant, until the baby starts to walk towards the large opening door.
Mando scoffs, and picks up the baby, putting it back where it was sitting. “You stay right here. You stay. Don't move. You understand? Great.” Mando finishes his one sided conversation with the floppy eared child, only to have y/n laugh at him, her arms now crossed, slouching in her chair that she turned around to be facing Mando and the exit.
Mando points to her and she lifts her eyebrows, stopping her laughter and biting her lip. “You too. I don't want to see you out of the ship. you’re still injured.” he leaves without giving room for the younger female to argue.
y/n pov
Mando leaves the ship before I can even argue back to him. The door stays open, and me and the baby lock eyes.
“ok, come on.” I say, lifting the baby in my arms so that his arms were peaking out above them, lightly hanging onto the sleeves.
I step one foot onto the grass, where Mandos' back is turned to us when he turns around.
my mouth opens to say something, but i close it and purse my lips, deciding against it.
I hear a crackled sigh before mando gives in. “Oh, what the hell? Come on.” he says which causes me to smile and for the baby to coo at him.
We end up walking side by side on a dirt path and end up in a little town. Mando leads me and the baby to a big hut, where I can smell whatever is in there very well. I set the baby down and he walked slowly behind me, which is behind mando.
I look back to see the little gremlin getting hissed at by a weird looking cat thing. I let out a little giggle and looked back to Mando who noticed my limping from the long-ish walk.
“Sit down, you’re going to tire yourself out,” he tells me, gesturing to the circular table. I scoff at him but comply anyway.
Now the baby is sitting as well. look at us. a bunch of jackasses sitting in a circle.
“Welcome, travelers. Can I interest you in anything?” a lady says, coming up to us. ”Bone broth, for the little one, and-“ Mando gets cut off by me. “your strongest alcohol.” I said to the lady with a smile.
“ah, well i’ll need permission from your, erm-, guardian.” she says. i quickly use the force to make mandos head nod up and down before she hums happily in approval before speaking.
“Can I interest you in a porringer of broth as well?” she asks him. He sighs quietly while staring into the side of my head. “Just the one.” he says tensely
“Very well.”
“That one over there. When did she arrive?” Mando asks her right before she leaves. “I've seen her here for the last week or so.” he said gesturing to a female with dark hair and dark clothes.
“What's her business here?”
“Business? Oh, well, there's not much business in Sorgan, so I can't say.” She finishes the answer to the mandalorians question, and turns to get our stuff.
I keep looking at the table, since I can feel the mandalorian staring into the side of my head again. Since I'm on his right, I feel a bit self-conscious about my arm since it’s close to him.
“What the hell was that?” he asks me, finally breaking the awkward silence. “what was what?” i ask him, playing dumb.
I turn my head to face him, so that we can hear each other better. “we need to set some ground rules with your powers, y/n” he says, scoffing at the beginning of the sentence.
“it was a one time thing, besides you wouldn’t let me get alcohol willingly so i-“ i get cut off. “Just no using it on me or the kid” he says, strictly.
I put my hands up, them close to the sides of my head in surrender. “deal, just don’t sell me to any old men.” I say with a little smirk, pointing my finger at him before setting them back down on my lap.
“It was a one time thing.” I hear Mando say it quietly, as if regretting saying it. As soon as I heard that, I burst out laughing, my left hand coming up to cover my mouth lightly so that I wouldn't disturb anybody around us.
with my right hand, i lay it over my stomach, since it hurts from laughing so hard, and i let out a loud sigh.
“you done?” Mando asks. I snorted quietly with a satisfied smile on my face. “yep”
The lady finally gets back, and puts the soup in front of the baby, and a whole ass bottle of their strongest alcohol with a small glass cup in the middle of the table.
I look at Mando and quickly snatch the bottle as soon as the lady walks away. “really? just don’t drink that whole thing, i’ll be back. watch the kid.” he lists off quickly as he leaves the hut. I turned towards the baby to see him drinking his soup.
I sigh and open the bottle, the strong smell hitting my nose right away. i blow air out of my mouth, then take a huge gulp of it and hold it in my mouth, my cheeks puffed out.
I turn to see a woman staring at me from across the room, judging me. so i stick up my middle finger at her, swallow the amber liquid, ignoring the burn and smiling at the woman.
she rolls her eyes and looks back down at her food. I put the bottle back down on the table. I hate old people. i say in my head
I turned back to see the baby gone. wait- oh shit, the one thing i was supposed to do. I thought to myself. I get up, the wooden chair creaking against the floor, I pick up the bottle and head out the exit, limping slightly.
he probably went looking for mando, and i was right. I turned a corner to see the baby sipping soup, and ahead of him was Mando on the ground with the woman. both laying on the dirt ground, both pointing blasters at each other.
“You want some soup?” Mando asks her. I chuckle and take another swig of the liquid, before Mando quickly gets up and snatches it out of my hand.
“I was drinking that moron” I tell him. He ignores me and goes back into the hut, the woman following him.
I sigh and pick up the baby, and limp back to the table and sit on mandos left, and the woman, who I now know as cara, to my right so that they were across from each other. the baby sitting comfortably in my lap.
“Saw most of my action mopping up after Endor. Mostly Ex-Imperial Warlords. They wanted it fast and quiet. They'd send us in on the drop ships. No support, just us. Then when the Imps were gone, the politics started.” cara explains.
“We were peacekeepers, protecting delegates, suppressing riots. Not what I signed up for.” she finishes, i listen intently, playing with the baby’s ears gently.
”how'd you end up here?” Mando asks her.
“Let's just call it an early retirement. Look, I knew you were Guild. I figured you had a fob on me. That's why I came at you so hard.”
“Yeah, that's what I figured.” mando adds on. ”Well, this has been a real treat, but unless you wanna go another round, one of us is gonna have to move on, and I was here first.” cara concludes.
i’m not paying attention anymore, so i stand up, set the baby on the chair, and sneak the bottle from mando, it was under his chair, and limp a little back outside.
Now the sun is going down, it’s almost dark.
I stare down into the bottle then shrug. I lift it up to my lips with my right hand and start chugging it down, the liquid burning my throat.
By the time I finally need air, my eyes squeeze shut and I put the bottle back down. I look at it, and see it’s now well over half empty.
I sigh in regret, since I know I'll be feeling great in a while, but I’ll have the worst hangover in the morning.
I walk a little towards a hill, and sit on top of it, my knees to my chest with my arms in front of them. i left the bottle by the hut, so whoever finds it can have it i guess.
“y/n, what did i tell you?” I hear from behind me. “m’ sorry.” I slur slightly, turning my head around to see the mandalorian walking closet, to take a seat on my left. the baby following behind him and sitting in front of us.
“It makes me feel better.” I told him. “there’s other ways to relieve stress. you’re not even old enough to drink, you’re still a kid.” he tries to reason with me.
I turned my head to look at him. “y’know im not a kid, right?”
“Yes you are. you act like one anyways.” he tells me. I look at the baby, and he slowly tilts his head at me. I sigh and shake my head.
“Listen, just lay off the alcohol, and any type of drugs until you find a healthier way to relieve stress.” Mando tells me, while using little hand gestures.
“I have another way.” I told him.
“ok, we'll, what is it?” he asks. “sex” i say while a small smile comes onto my face and i wiggle my eyebrows up and down.
“i- no. you will not be doing.. that on my ship, again, you’re a kid.” he says putting emphasis on the ‘kid’.
“Boo, you whore.” I say, pouting my lips and looking back to the now rising moon. “another thing, language. quit with the profanities, there’s a baby present.” he tells me.
“yea yea, i got it.” I say, waving my hand around. “bitch.” I mutter.
“i heard that”
“you were supposed to.” I say with a smile.

Thank you for all your love and support, take care of each other, and don't forget Mando style: never show your face in front of the others! xoxo Update: OMG I WAS GIFTED WITH A PRETTY PLEASE FANART 😭 https://kenobiwanx.tumblr.com/post/647654503580123136/frankie-and-yn-inspired-by-la-lunaluna
Tumblr media
You haven’t been feeling very well lately, especially today. You remembered clearly the promise you made to Frankie, that you weren't going to change, but you felt that promise went out the window, made you feel that you were lying to him. It was making you feel your heart heavy.
You sat in the car seat and felt the anguish blur your vision and tighten your throat. When you first started your relationship with Frankie, your romance seemed to make even Cinderella jealous, but... At what point along the way had things started to get like this? You had promised each other that you wouldn't let love fall into a rut, fatigue and stress shake things up, but, God, it was so hard! He had supported you like no other to start the college you had wanted so much for years, and he encouraged you when you were afraid to reconcile your studies with your work. It was for a better future, wasn't it? But lately, things were tough. You couldn't help but feel a few tears rolling down your face.
You started the car and drove home. The panel display indicated that it was past midnight and the lights inside were off. You knew this wouldn't be forever, it would only be until you finished college, but God, it seemed like the days when you would come home and not even look at your man because he was already asleep would never end. You loved him, and you felt that he loved you just as much, but this was... Damn it, working and studying all day and never getting the moment to feel comforted and relaxed by Frankie? Never a time to feel that even if everything was falling apart out there, you still had each other? It seemed so unfair!
You turned the key in the door and opened it very carefully. As you guessed, Frankie wasn't in the room, he really should have been in bed by now. You sighed tiredly and giggled, unhappy that you thought that at least today things would be different. Arriving at the bedroom you saw a very familiar sight: Frankie lying on his stomach. The dim light coming in through the window made the sun-bronzed skin of his bare chest glow. His messy hair on his head needed to be cut, but you secretly loved it when he procrastinated about going to the barber and the ends of his hair got curled. Sometimes you wondered if you and Frankie decided to have children, they would have hair like that too. But how could you if you didn't even have enough time to talk to your man, how about raising a baby? God, you needed to sleep soon, otherwise, your head would keep playing tricks on you.
  (…)
Frankie heard a low, half-muffled groan. It took him a few seconds to figure out that he was on that fine line between being asleep and awake. He opened his eyes and through the crack in the door that separated the bedroom from the bathroom, he knew that you had already come home. The sound of water falling from the shower made him doubt if he had actually heard anything or not. Your classes had been ending very late lately and sometimes he couldn't keep himself awake to wait. He missed when the two of you used to drink a cup of milk late at night, leaning against the kitchen counter and chatting away about whatever nonsense had happened during the day, but he knew that this was fleeting. Someday you wouldn't even remember those times anymore. He heard another groan, louder this time, a... hiccup? You were crying.
He stood up and tapped lightly on the door before opening it slowly.
“Baby, is everything okay?” Frankie said with his hand on the doorknob and his ear to the open doorway.
“Y-yes, go back to sleep, please." You tried to cover it up, but Frankie knew you too well. Maybe all those years in the army had helped him to become a walking lie detector.
“Sorry, I just... I heard you crying. Do you want to talk?” He seemed to measure every word he said so that the situation wouldn't become delicate.
He heard the shower being turned off, and before he could think of anything, he felt the doorknob slipping from his hand and the door being opened unexpectedly. You, naked and completely wet, hugged him tightly and he suppressed a startled sound. Something really was wrong.
Frankie hugged you back, feeling your back make a trembling back and forth movement as you sobbed your tears against his chest. Your hands held him as if you were afraid to leave at that moment.
“Baby, you're scaring me. Please tell me what's going on, I need to help you somehow.”
“Frankie, you don't need to help me, this is all my fault, you can leave if you want to, I... Shit, Frankie!” you cried out between the sobs of your desperate crying, squeezed between his arms. You seemed to be wasting your air even to breathe.
“Baby, shh, please try to calm down.” He ran his hand down your back, trying to relieve you. “You're freezing, I'll get you a towel.”
You pulled away from him, feeling as if a huge weight had been returned to your back, and sat up in bed. He brought a large, fluffy towel and used it to wrap you up. You seemed calmer now, seeming to have managed to control your crying, but despite this, you were no better in any way. Instead, your low and lost look only showed how tired and defeated you were. Frankie wrapped his arms around you and brought you close to him, making your body fall into his. You brought your legs up on the bed and cuddled up next to him. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath.
“Frankie, honey, I..." You felt your voice choke up again. "Shit, I'm gonna cry again.”
"It's okay, you can cry. Wanna try to tell me what happened?" He hugged you gently, bringing you closer.
You sniffled and nodded.
"Remember when we said, we promised each other..." You could barely finish your line of thought. "Damn it, Frankie, I'm letting everything that we promised each other wouldn't happen happen."
"What you talking about?"
"We always talked about how wouldn't let things fall into a routine, that we'd never let our worries affect our relationship, and look at us now! I'm tired, Frankie, I'm tired of feeling this unfair sensation that I'm burning out, and at the end of the day I can't even love you properly because I'm tired and stressed and I just want to come home and lie in bed and sleep and stop thinking bullshit!" Your voice was getting more altered with each word, you seemed to be trying to seek answers for all the trouble that was going on, but it was just making you desperate again.
Frankie wriggled on the bed to pull you away from his body so that he could look you in the eye. You were a total mess, sitting on the bed, naked, wrapped in your towel. Your back was bent forward as if you wanted to disappear into yourself.
"Baby, please, none of this is your fault. Frankie touched your chin, wet with tears, and lifted your face lightly. "You are feeling this because we are living this now, if we were in another situation, none of this would be happening. And when I say that, please don't think it's your fault, it's just the fault of the moment we're going through, and we chose this, remember? We knew it wasn't going to be easy, but we have survived all the tough days together until today, haven't we? This won't be forever, and when it's over, I'll still be here, okay?" Frankie gave a shy smile as he finished speaking. How could have he been through so many monstrosities in the army and still be such a sweetheart?
"Okay." You gave a little yellow smile as you looked away and answered in a tone of voice so low you could barely hear yourself. You looked up half bashfully and continued, "I love you, Frankie."
"I love you too, my love." He softly pressed his lips to yours, silently concluding the conversation. "Gonna get you your PJs for you to get dressed and sleep, okay?"
"Frankie..."
"Yes?"
"No need. I... I don't wanna sleep. I want you to help me slow down, help me calm my mind, put it at ease."
You stood up, letting the towel fall off your back, and sat on his lap, holding his face with your hands.
"Wow... hi" Frankie laughed at your unexpected attitude, placing his hands on your thighs. "You know you're turning me on, right?"
"No, but I loved knowing."
You smiled and kissed his lips slowly. It didn't take long for that kiss to go deep and for Frankie's hands to become more adventurous, making you tremble on his lap, after all, your feelings were already running wild, but it was that kind of fun tension you were needing right now. You felt him growing under his sweatpants and you felt your spine trickle, smiling and distributing kisses all over his neck and rolling your hips back and forth slowly, closing your eyes to enjoy the delicious sensation of pleasure that was invading you more and more. You kissed again, a wet kiss surrounded by that heavy breath of urgency.
"Frankie, baby, I missed you so much, I need your love, I need your hands on me" you groaned between the kiss, your mouths still glued together and groaning against each other. "Pretty please... I want me underneath you, come find me, try me..." you ordered in sighs of pleasure, brushing your lips against his. The kiss was so gentle, and at the same time so sexy.
"Baby, don't light me up..." Frankie's deep voice resounded in his chest and his dark eyes shone with desire. “Get on the bed.”
You moaned in response, rising from his lap, but not before moving one more time, letting your sex, still separated by Frankie’s sweatpants, rub. He smiled when he saw how his clothes were besmirched by your humidity.
You got on the bed and he came right after, squeezing your ass, making your body arch back. This way he could catch you with his arm and squeeze your breast. You turned your neck to the side and stayed hostage by Frankie’s lips one more time. Frankie was loving that unexpected moment, half time ago he was sleeping, who knew he would be now having a full of nostalgia sex? He searched for your ear, biting and moaning. You were already completely melted, submissive to his tongue exploring you bluntly, to his hands holding you so well, full of malice, traversing your thighs and massaging your clit. The desire was urgent.
Without losing any more time, he laid you down and turned you to face him, opening space between your legs until he could make his strong body cover you entirely. He supported his forearms by the sides of your face, letting his lips slide from the neck to the breasts. Frankie insisted to lick the tip of each one of your boobs and bite them after, using a bit of strength and making you tremble underneath him; you were so fucking turned on.
“Francisco… I-I need you inside of me” you confessed, pulling Frankie’s hair while you arched your hips up without noticing.
“Do you…” He kissed your belly. “Want to kill me…” Kissed your groin. “Calling me like that, right?” He licked all of your cunt extension just to tease you. “Just because of that I’m not going to suck you…” He laughed and moved away, getting on his knees on the bed and squeezing his erection still covered by his clothes.
“Frankie, for fucks sake!” You laughed nervously, squirming.
“Just kidding, babe” He blinked and smiled.
He got his body down one more time and spread wet kisses through all of your bellies, putting your legs on his shoulders. His lips went down until your thighs, nibbling the skin intensely and gently at the same time. He looked at your eyes and got the silent request you were making, begging. He passed his tongue by all of your pussy and you squirmed in response, unable to hold on and moan loudly with pleasure as you felt Frankie practically swallow you with his mouth. You closed your eyes, grabbing the sheets by your side. He sucked you fastly, involving the tongue and taking cheeky bites one time and another.
Frankie left his hands laying on your boobs, massaging them and loving to hear how you were liking that. Both were already gasping, sweaty, anesthetized by lust, and he hasn’t even taken his clothes off.
“Fuck, babe, look at you…” He smiled, sliding the eyes to your cunt, wet, pulsing, vulnerable, and desperate for some relief.
You moaned, closing your eyes hard as you felt his mouth speaking against your entrance, that contact was killing you.
“Frankie…” You moaned sexily, your voice echoing by the silent ambient.
You opened your eyes slowly, having that overwhelming vision of your hip raised on Frankie’s body, and him snapping your pussy and giving you tricky smiles.
“Frankie, please…” It was each time more difficult to control your breath. “Frankie, get over with it…”
“What do you want, babe?” He threw his head back to look at you and when he crossed eyes with you, you could swear you could cum at any time.
“Fuck me, Frankie, I wanna cum with you inside me…” You pleaded, closing your eyes.
Watching you licking and biting your lips was making him nuts. It was delicious to watch you and stimulate you, hear the way you moaned, how your breath was accelerated and how your body moved while you were getting closer to cum, but it was even better to see you had already forgotten how you were feeling minutes ago. You deserved that.
He stopped the caresses to attend to your request and climbed on the bed to kiss you one more time, while you moaned by feeling your taste on his mouth, your hands messing his brown hair, pulling and stroking his neck.
He moved again one more time, getting up from the bed and pulling the drawstring of the pants.
“Hurry up, Francisco!” you complained laughing, begging for him to stop torturing you soon.
Frankie attended, taking the sweatpants and showing that at any moment he was wearing underwear. You glimpsed the beautiful vision that lately used to fulfill only your memories. Frankie was so handsome, but now, stars… He was perfect. You didn’t know why you were so dazzled, after all, you had already seen him naked lots of times. Now, otherwise, seemed like you were rediscovering him, or something like that. You were missing your man!
He got totally rid of the pants, bothering him so much at that moment, and, now undressed, he revealed the body you loved so much, was beautiful and your total source of desire. You looked attentive to his stomach, his large shoulders, and his strong arms. Frankie had beautiful, thick, and fleshy thighs, but what he had between his legs was catching all of your attention right now. You couldn’t avoid moaning by thinking on that cock, pulsing and pointing in your direction, penetrating you.
Frankie got close to you again, curving himself to catch your lips with him one more time.
“Baby, please…”
He made a silent yes with his head, staying between your legs and holding your hips to get positioned on your entrance. He slipped inside you totally, pulling a loud moan out from you.
“Frankie!”
“I’m all yours now, babe” he answered against your ear.
Your body heated up with the sensation of being taken and by the words, even forgetting that brief bothering feeling of the beginning being filled up. You relaxed, letting Frankie dictate the rules.
You hugged him, with both arms and legs, and noticed he wasn’t moving, probably waiting for you to get used again to feel him inside you, after so many days without a touch.
“Frankie, please…” you murmured, squeezing his large shoulders. “I want you…”
Frankie sank and started moving without any rush. As he felt you were comfortable, he stocked you once and twice again, moving slowly, focused on giving the pleasure you deserved, that was pressing his member wet by your heat. You sighed, concentrating on feeling the welcome invasion of Frankie on your body.
He smiled, looking below himself. His heart raced as you looked at his eyes, smiled, and settled your lips on his, making him move very slowly inside of your tight pussy. He went increasing the speed, he couldn’t and didn’t want to as well, broke eye contact, watching and appreciating every micro pleasure feature you were letting show. The more you gasped and moaned between kisses, the more stimulated he felt himself.
“Frankie…”
Was so exciting to see you falling from pleasure. Watching you moaning and calling his name each time he went deep, touching that sensible part of your pussy, every time he went out and in firmly, making you bite your lips and want to close her eyes, but you were too hypnotized by that chocolate eyes to dare to close, it was overwhelming. Frankie’s hands wandered through your body, scratching, fumbling, squeezing all the sensitive parts each time he increased speed.
The back-and-forth movement was delicious, Frankie held your waist, moaning unconnected and dirty words on your ear. The position could appear a little predictable to some couples, but for you was pure paradise.
“Frankie, put it in harder…” You requested, ecstatic.
“Wanna harder, baby?” He growled, squeezing your waist and laying his forehead on yours. “Roll it for me while I fuck you…”
You obeyed, rolling your hips and feeling your thighs tremble while you felt Frankie increasing the speed considerably. You felt all his cock touching you deep, hard. He squeezed your waist harder, pushing his fingers and sinking his cock in your cunt even more. You moaned hoarsely, calling for him, asking for more.
Frankie took his hand until your forgotten clit, masturbating you with intensity. You trembled, hugged your lover’s body, letting your lips go through his neck slowly. He let his hand go off from your body and touched your face sweetly. You kissed, in love, moving your lips slowly and full of sensuality one against the other. You massaged your mouths, enjoying the devouring sensation of your shocking bodies. You gave space to Frankie’s mouth, enlacing yours, while he increased his movements.
You were almost there, Frankie’s big hands had the ability and that was delicious, it was impossible not to cum when you were at his mercy. That was what you wanted, to feel you could faint at any time and cum nestled on your man’s body.
“Frankie, I’m so close…” You bit the crease of his ear.
He nodded, saying without words he was feeling close to his end as well. You felt the fire devouring you fully and when Frankie bite your shoulder, you fell apart on his arms moaning loudly your name. In the last movement, Frankie couldn’t handle the orgasm when he felt you squeeze around his cock. He came too, pouring his seed deep inside you.
Both of you collapsed in the bed. You smiled when you felt your thighs still trembling after that so intense and necessary orgasm that day. You were gasping, feeling all your body muscles relaxing and softening. It had been a while since you hadn’t such an amazing fuck as that.
“Frankie…” you called him dimly, turning yourself in the bed and letting your face lay down on his chest, resting your arm on his stomach.
“What, baby?” Frankie stroked your back on the back of his fingers.
“Let’s do it again?
Frankie let out a loud chuckle, hugging you after.
“You’re going to become a widow before the sun rises, do you know that, don’t you?” He whispered, kissing the top of your head with tenderness. “Can’t we just let this for tomorrow morning? By now I think we could just get a good shower.”
Frankie got up from bed, carrying you by the hand to the bathroom, where you got a warm and long shower, where you cleaned each other and shared hot kisses until you couldn’t handle the provocative caresses anymore and ended up making love again.
After a while, dressed with cleaned pajamas and sated, you came back to your room, to the bed, and changed the sheets, and fluffed the pillows before laying down again. It was funny, if you didn’t know each other so well, you would have had that strange silence on the air. But after a long time together, that was just a good and comfortable silence.
“Francisco?”
He turned to you in bed and found your eyes. It was so good to simply stay laying down like that, lost on Frankie’s sweet eyes…
“Hi.” He smiled.
“Hi.” You smiled back, rubbing your nose on his delicately. “Thank you. Truly.”
“I’m right here to remember you everything’s gonna be okay, okay?”
“Okay.”
“I love you.” He settled his lips on yours for the last time that night.
“I love you more.”
“That’s impossible.” You smiled.
You nestled against him in sweet relief, draining your back on his warm chest and feeling embraced by his strong arms. Sometimes you forgot Frankie was there for you, and you loved when he made you remember all of that so well. Next to him, everything was going to be okay.

“I’m Yours”
The Mandalorian/Din Djarin x Fem!Reader
Warnings- a little bit of cursing, slightly implied sex
A/N- Oh gosh this is the first time I’ve written anything in a long time, so please go easy on me 😅. I just had to start back up again because The Mandalorian got me feeling some type of way. Hope you enjoy!
Inspired by this post:
Din watched you from across the canteen. You had gone to the bar to mingle and see if you could get any information on your guys’ latest asset. You happened to have landed in Sorgan for the job so you guys had gotten lunch with Cara. Well at least you and Cara got to have lunch... as Din couldn’t eat out in public for obvious reasons.
Din kept a close eye on you as you talked with a particular offputting guy. He was tall and gruff looking, clad in a slightly dirty, brown leather jacket with a blaster hanging on his waist. He definitely wasn’t a local.
The guy sat down on the barstool next to yours, leaning in as you talked and sliding a hand on your thigh. Din glared daggers at him under his helmet.
“Mando?” Cara sounded to the metal clad man sitting across from her. His only response a small grunt. “Everything alright there bud? You’re being more quiet than usual.”
“Nobody plans a murder out loud.” He grumbled out roughly. His hand in a fist on the table.
Cara turned to look in the direction the Mandalorian’s helmet faced, finding you politely laughing with a gruff looking man. He was clearly flirting with you. It seemed innocent enough. You had gone to get information and that’s probably what you were doing. Sometimes that meant leading a guy on. Cara knew that from experience. It’s part of the job, and even if it wasn’t why did it seem to up Mando so much? Was the Mandalorian... jealous?
“If you don’t mind me asking... you don’t have to respond if you don’t want to but...” The ex-dropper paused, trying to choose her words carefully. “Do you and Y/N have something going on?”
The question caught Din off guard. He turned his head away from you for a second to Cara. “Um- I- We- What do you mean?” Din knew what she meant.
“Like are you guys a thing? Are you dating or something?” Cara elaborated.
Din pondered the question. Moments of you and him flashed in his head: the lingering touches, the soft smiles, the deep conversations, some steamy nights... “I- uh- I guess you could say that... we-“ The Mandalorian uncharacteristicly stumbled on his words. The two of you hadn’t really talked about what you guys were... did he even have the right to be so angry at someone coming onto you? “I guess we’re more than friends...” He finally managed softly. That was all he was really sure of.
Cara hummed in response with a smirk on her face. Seeing the normally emotionless man get flustered was amusing. She was about to ask more questions when Din suddenly stood up, tense, hands in tight fists.
You had ordered a drink, and when you had turned to pay the bartender the gruff man Din had been glaring at dropped a small tablet into your drink. Oh hell no. Din swiftly marched over towards the two of you, catching your eye as he approached. “Oh hey- AH” You screamed. Din had grabbed the man you’d been talking to’s collar and punched him hard in the face. You swore you heard something crack. “WHAT THE HELL? D- MANDO!”
“YOU SICK BASTARD!” Din yelled at the man. Blood dripped from the man’s lip and nose.
“H- Hey what the- what the fuck was that for man?” His words angry and slurred, head spinning.
“DON’T YOU PLAY DUMB DOUCHEBAG YOU TAINTED MY GIRL’S DRINK” Din punched him again, leaving him unconscious. “Let’s get out of here.” He gritted out sharply to you as he let the unconscious man fall to the ground.
You stared at the Mandalorian in front of you wide-eyed, trying to process what had just happened. The guy tainted your drink? Jee you try making friends for once... wait. Did Din.. call you ‘his girl’..?
Before you could process any further Din grabbed your hand and started leading you out of the canteen. You trying to catch a hysterically laughing Cara’s eye and doing your best to give a wave goodbye, then you were out the door.
“Ahh, men..” Cara shook her head as her laughing calmed down.
Din dragged you through the forest to the ship. His heart still pounding in his ears in anger. He could’ve killed that man on the spot and kind of regretted not doing so. Silently he noted to himself that the next time anyone tried to harm you in any way he’d kill them.
His anger still blinding him made him barely realize that he had already dragged you into the ship. He spun around to face you and put his hands firmly on your shoulders. The two of you just standing there staring at each other for awhile in silence.
His breathing was heavy and sounded loudly through his helmet. “Din?” You finally breathed out, breaking the silence. He grunted. “Din we’re in the ship now,” You reached up and placed your hand on his helmet where his cheek would be, “Its okay now.”
“What are we?” He breathed out at you. You reacted similarly to how he did with Cara. Eyes blinking in surprise at the sudden question. The lingering touches, the soft smiles, the deep conversations, some steamy nights... ‘my girl’... flashing in your head.
“I- We-“ You paused, you needed to chose your words carefully. You cared deeply for Din. The more time you spent with him the deeper you fell. Maybe it was love. You weren’t too sure. You’d never felt this way about someone before. “What do you want us to be?”
There was another long pause between the two of you. You wished you could see Din’s eyes as you stared at the visor of his helmet. Maybe get some sort of answer in them.
“I-“ He started, moving one of his hands from your shoulders to cup your cheek, “I want you to be mine and only mine.” He started, “I want you to be there by my side through this crazy god damn life with The Child. I want to be able to hold you and talk to you about life. I want to travel the whole universe with you. I want to be yours.”
You reached up and put your hand over his. “Din honey... you already have all of that.” You give him a soft smile, “I’m already yours and you’re already mine.”
You brought both of your hands out to his helmet and pulled his head down to lean against yours.
“Close your eyes.”
Your eyes flutter close.
“Promise you won’t open them okay?”
You nod, and he slowly pulled his head away from you. You hear the slight ruffle of cloth and a quiet clink of metal being set down. Then you feel Din’s warm hands cup your face. He took off his gloves. You melt into them and just as you open your mouth to say something you feel lips connect to yours. Din’s lips.
You breathe in from shock for a second then immediately kiss him back. Your hands graze over his cheeks. You feel stubble. Then you bring them up to his hair and run your finger through it. It’s soft, thick, and wavy. He lets out a small moan into your mouth at the gesture, then pulls away to breathe.
You both stand there catching your breathe while you embrace each other. Your eyes are still closed. Din rests his forehead against yours. “Y/N?”
“Hmm?” You hummed to him.
“I’m yours.”
“I’m yours.”

The Journey (Days 3 & 4/6) (A Clan of Our Own) (The Mandalorian x reader)
Day 3 and 4 both happen in the evening, also sorry I combined the two, I just had zero ideas for the mornings for these two days
also this is not super edited so I am sorry for any grammar mistakes

Day three afternoon: chill night/giving the kid a bath
It had been a fairly relaxed day. At least for what our lives were normally filled with it was mellow. We all got the chance to sleep in some. Din and I had cleaned our armor, preparing it for our arrival on Avis.
We made dinner together, which was easier said than done. It was amazing that food actually made it onto our plates in the end.
After a very messy dinner, the kid was in desperate need of a bath. I had sent Din to go get a towel, soap, and one of the kid’s extra robes Omera had shown me how to make while we were on Sorgon. We decided it’d be easier to bathe him in the kitchen sink.
I put the stopper at the bottom drain and began filling the sink with water. Din entered shortly after I had turned the water off and made sure it was a good temperature. He set everything down on the counter beside the sink. I shifted uncomfortably on my feet. I had made to stupid decision to help make dinner and as a result, had been on my feet for quite a while now.
“Do you want me to pull a couple of crates over so you can sit for a little bit?” Din asked, kissing my temple as one of his hands wrapped around my back and rested on my hip.
“If you don’t mind, yes. I overdid it some with dinner.” I admitted.
He placed another gentle kiss to my temple before walking over to the far wall where we had a few crates of supplies. It took him hardly any effort to push one of the taller ones over. He helped me sit down carefully before turning his attention to the messy green child of ours.
“What do you want me to do with this?” He asked nodding over to the robes the child had gotten dirty while he worked gently to wash him.
“Just leave them over to the side, I’ll do some laundry tomorrow.” I said.
I watched as the kid bit at one of the suds then instantly recoil from the taste, making both me and Din laugh. The small green creature looked up confused at his father.
“Well don’t eat the bubbles, they don’t taste good.” He laughed.
“Yeah, bubbles are for cleaning, not eating.” I added.
“We’re settling into this pretty nicely, don’t you think?” Din asked, stealing a glance my way before delicately washing the kid’s ears.
“Settling into what?”
“Domestic parenthood. I thought I’d be a lot harder, but it seems to be going pretty well in my opinion.” He said confidently.
“You know, now that you’ve said that, something is going to go wrong probably.” I pointed out.
“Don’t be so negative.” He shook his head.
I only shrugged. It was no lie that this right now was fairly easy, well as easy as parenthood could be, but I couldn’t help but think about what it’d be like with two children. There would be two mouths to feed, two children to bathe every night, two children that would need equal amounts of attention and love, two children that would need to be trained in the ways of the Force. Two everythings. It was nerve-racking, to say the least.
I was so lost in my thoughts, I hadn’t noticed Din scoop up a handful of bubbles and blow them my way until they were hitting my face. I scrunched my nose as they lightly tickled my cheeks.
“What was that for?” I asked, laughing slightly.
“I need to bring you back to the present, you were wondering off again.” He said sadness laced in his tone.
I sighed, “I’m sorry, I can’t help it sometimes.”
He knew I was scared for this next chapter, we both were, but he also knew that I can’t always process and deal with my emotions and internal demons as well as others can.
“I know, that’s why I’m always here to bring you back.” He said, blowing even more bubbles my way.
We both laughed for real this time, no masked sadness. Even the child giggled some at his parents' antics. Without hesitation, I used the force to fling bubbles at him.
“That’s cheating!” He said, wiping his face on his sleeve.
“Oops.” I said smugly.
Shortly after that, the kid was wrapped up in a fuzzy towel and was drying off. The water had been drained from the sink, and the only thing left to do was change him and put him to bed.
I had busied myself with getting ready to go to bed as well. The kid and I spent so much time together, it felt as though Din barely gets to bond with him one on one, so I wanted them to have tonight to do that.
I laid alone in our bed as he got the little one ready to lay down. He had his blanket and stuffed frog that he now seemed to refuse to sleep without. I could hear Din's voice and had to strain my ears to hear what he was saying. Tears pricked at my eyes as I realized he was singing him a Mandalorian lullaby.
I could vaguely remember hearing other mothers, or surrogate mothers singing it to their children back on Nevarro. I had heard it a few times on Avis as well, along with a handful of other ones that were special to the force user Mandalorians. Though it was rare to hear them on Avis since children weren’t born there often. Maybe once a year if we were lucky.
The total number of force-sensitive Mandalorians in this clan was about 350, not including our Elders, but only about ⅔ of them lived full time on Avis. Though the population in our underground bunker reached about 1000, once you began to add in riduur and children, both adoptive and blood-related ones.
I was excited about potentially bringing two new children back to the clan. If they welcomed me back then the news of our adopted son, and the bean would spread quickly and would cause for celebration most likely. Children are always celebrated there, no matter how they became a part of the clan, they are important in keeping the clan alive and that is why they are treasured so much.
Soon enough, Din was crawling into bed with me, wrapping his arm around my stomach as usual. I snuggled back into his warm body, I really hate how cold space was.
“How’d you remember that song?” I asked quietly.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” He said, I could hear the smirk in his voice.
I laughed at his pretend tough guy front.  “I think it’s sweet.” I said honestly.
He pressed a kiss to my head, just behind my ear, and whispered, “Good night, cyar'ika.”
“Good night, Din.” I said back, already closing my eyes.
Day 4 afternoon: “familymoon” holovids and laying on the floor
“Ya know,” Din began, halfway through dinner.
“What?” I asked, tilting my head slightly.
“We didn’t have a honeymoon.” He said casually.
“What?” I nearly choked on my food.
“Normally, after two people get married they go on a honeymoon. Even in the Mandalorian culture they do. We haven't yet.” He said as if it were the most simple thing ever.
“Din, I don’t know if you have noticed but we’re not exactly the normal family dynamic right now. And also don’t know if you realized, it’s easily overlooked, but I’m nine months pregnant. A honeymoon ain’t happenin’ anytime soon.” I said laughing.
“Why not? We don’t actually have to go anywhere. We could stay here on the Crest and do something nice.” He suggested.
“Like what?”
He appeared to be in thought for a moment.
“I still have those bootlegged holovids. We can pull off the mattress from your bed and the extra bunk and make a nice spot on the floor and watch them. I’ll even see if we have the stuff to make Uj'alayi. The kid can join too, it can be… a familymoon. How does that sound?”
I was taken aback for a moment. He had this all planned out perfectly. Almost too perfectly. I knew right then that there was no way that this was a spur-of-the-moment thing, he has had this planned out for a while now.
“Perfect. How’d you come up with that?” I asked.
“I’ve been thinking about it for a couple of days.” He admitted with a proud smile.
Once dinner was finished, Din began looking through the cupboards to find the ingredients for the Uj'alayi. It didn’t take too much to make it, I knew we had at least some nuts and dried fruit, as dried fruits was a common midnight snack for the bean and I. The only ingredient that I was skeptical of us having was the Uj'ayl sticky syrup.
“Bingo!” Din exclaimed, setting the bottle of syrup down on the counter with the rest of the ingredients.
“Alrighty, move over, I’ll mix it up. Then you can put it in and it can cook while we set up everything else.” I said standing up from the table.
“No, why don’t you just tell me everything that needs to go in and how much while you stay off your feet like your supposed to.” Din said.
“Din, you know this recipe is a hand-me-down, there are no real measurements in it. It’s just a little bit of this, a little of that, a pinch of this and that, mix, bake, done.” I said while walking over and gently shooing him over.
I began grabbing the different ingredients and mixing them into the bowl. After adding the syrup it was time for the dried fruits and nuts.
“Din, you like the nuts more than fruit, right?” I asked.
“Yeah, but if you’d rather put more fruit in it you can, I know you’ve been craving it more here lately.” He offered sweetly.
“I think I’m just going to add more nuts, I like them in the cake better than the fruit. Plus that leaves more for my stash of late-night snacks.” I said causing DIn to laugh to himself and shake his head slightly.
Shortly after the cake was made, the dishes were washed and we were preparing for our movie night. Din pulled the mattress off the spare bed and the one off my old bunk. He had even found a travel mat up in the storage area near the cockpit. The travel one wasn’t the most comfortable but it provided a little more cushion against the cold, metal floor of the Razor Crest. While Din was in the cockpit finding the movies, I set out on making our little pallet comfortable. I pulled the blankets and the few pillows we had out and dropped them down onto the mattress. I couldn’t really bend down to fix the blankets so I did my best to spread it out while still standing. The child was all set up in the pram, with his blanket and stuffed frog. I could tell he was already tired and wouldn’t make it very long, but he was eager to take part in whatever his parents were doing.
Soon Din was back down with a small box of holovids. None of them were labeled correctly due to the fact that they were all bootlegged.
“I guess we just go through them until we find one we like?” Din offered.
“Sounds good to me.” I shrugged.
He nodded and made his way over, luckily he had given up on wearing any part of his armor around us, which meant he often went barefoot, or in socks around the Crest and I wouldn’t have to scold him for having his boots on the blankets. He set the box down and sat down waiting for me to follow suit.
I quickly realized I underestimated how low to the ground the mattress was. My center of gravity had long been thrown off because of my stomach and I couldn’t seem to balance well enough to lower myself.
“Need a hand?” Din asked upon observing my struggle and internal debate.
“Yes please, I really underestimated how low this was and this,” I pointed to my stomach, “has thrown off any sense of balance I’ve ever had.”
He laughed as he stood up. He held me steady as he guided me to the ground. Once I was good, he took his own spot once again. We set the box between us and began to go through them.
“Any thoughts on what genre you want to watch?” Din asked me.
“Preferably nothing that will make my hormones act up. So… action maybe?” I suggested.
He nodded. We continue to look through them quietly before Din spoke up once again.
“Wait, did you ever watch this one?” He said handing it over to me. “It’s the one with the smuggler, and he has like three bounty hunters after him but if he can make it across the galaxy with the cargo, he gets to walk free.” He explained.
“I don’t think I have. But it sounds good. Let’s watch it. Do you want to get it all setup?” I asked handing the small device back to him and moving the box out of the way. He enlarged the image and set it up in front of us. Then he came back and sat down, leaning against the wall, and his legs out straight in front of him. I laid down halfway on my side, with a firmer pillow to provide at least a little support for my back, and my head in his lap.
We didn’t get super into the movie before the cake was ready and we had to pause it so Din could go get it. It was always better to me when it was warm. I sat up while I waited for his return. He came back with two plates in his hand. He handed mine to me along with a fork, then turned to grab the kid from the pram then sat down with him in his lap. He hit play on the movie then proceed to feed the kid a small piece of cake between taking bites of his own, larger slice. I savored every bite of mine. It had been so long since I had one of these and they were just like I remembered.
Once we were all done, Din took the plates back to the kitchen. When he returned he brought the canteen of water with him as well as a small cup for the child to have some water as well. The child was returned back to his bed, and once Din sat back down, I laid my head in his lap again.
As predicted the child was out within the next fifteen minutes of the movie. Then by about halfway through the movie Din had begun to play with my hair, which made me drowsy and before I knew it I was out as well. I tried to stifle a yawn but it was no use.
“You tired?” DIn asked as his fingers raked through my hair once again, earning a content sigh from me.
I nodded in response.
“Do you want to go to bed?”
Once again I only nodded, too tired to speak.
“Alright, can you sit up so I can get to help you up?” He asked.
I shook my head, I didn’t want to get up.
“We can sleep here, your back will hurt in the morning. Come on, let’s go to bed.” He tried to coax me gently.
I knew he was right so I slowly sat up so he could stand to help me up off the ground. He counted to three before pulling me up to my feet. The momentum added to the weight of my stomach, and my drowsiness made me feel like I was going to fall, so I instinctively reached for Din’s arm for support. Without hesitation, his free hand went to my waist to sturdy me.
“I got you.” He assured me and pressed a kiss to my temple, “Do you want to change before going to bed?”
I thought about it for a moment. I was already in one of his shirts, my bra had been discarded at the beginning of the movie, after struggling to get it to sit right as I laid on my side. I decided changing was too much of a hassle, and not really necessary at this point. I would really only be changing out of this shirt just to put on another one of his.
He scanned over me for a moment. “Are you really going to sleep in pants? You never do, you get too hot, or that’s what you always say.” He teased.
He was right, I found sleeping in long pants uncomfortable. They had to go. And so without much thought, I grabbed the waistband pulled them down just enough to where when I let go, they’d fall to the ground at my feet. They were his too.
“Were those mine?” He asked laughing.
“Yup, I couldn’t find the ones that fit me still.” I shrugged.
He smiled and shook his head, still laughing to himself.
“Will you grab my shorts for me?” I asked sweetly.
He nodded, “Go sit on the bed, I’ll bring them to you.” Before he stepped away, he leaned over to give my lips a quick peck.
I went and did as he said and waited for him to bring my shorts. When he got to me, he knelt down and slipped one of my feet into each leg hole, then slid the shorts up as high as they could come with me still sitting down. When I stood to allow him to pull them up the rest of the way, my stomach was press firmly against his abdomen. He pulled the shorts up, adjusted the waistband some to make sure it wasn’t sitting weirdly against the lower part of my stomach. Then, as if to signify his work was finished, his hands went back around me and gave a small pat on my butt.
“Come on, let’s go to bed.” He said before I could react to what he just did.
Once we were both settled into the bed, it didn’t take long for me to fall asleep thinking about how wonderful tonight was. Sure it wasn’t anything extravagant, but it was the perfect thing for us. But then again, just about anything would be perfect for me as long as I had Din by my side.

I put the lightsaber away, and back into its hiding spot. I was tired, the Bean was still, so I decided to try my luck in going to sleep. It was hopeless. Not even five minutes after I got into a semi-comfortable position, he was active once again. It was like he knew Din wasn’t here to calm him down and he was just taunting me. I pushed myself up into a sitting position and grabbed my holopad from where it sat on the mattress beside me. In big font, the time read, “01:37”
I groaned internally. Din still wouldn’t be back for a good while. There was no use in staying in bed if I wasn’t going to be able to fall asleep. I could go sit in the kitchen, but it’s not super comfortable. The best seat on the Crest was honestly the pilot’s seat. But that was up in the cockpit. I debated it in my mind and came to the conclusion that if I took it slow, I’d be fine since the ship was stationary.
I took the thin blanket off our bed and walked over to the ladder. I tossed the blanket up so I would t have to carry it as I climbed. Once I was up, I made my way over to the pilot’s chair. I got myself situated and wrapped the blanket around me. It smelt like Din, like home.
I reached for his holopad that was on the dash, I would have used mine but I left it down on the bed. His was sitting right next to the cockpit’s transmitter. I noticed that the light on it was flashing indicating there was a transmission that hadn’t been deleted. I turned it on and saw the hologram appear. It was Greef Karga.
How old was this message? Din was always so good about getting rid of old messages.
I decided to play it before deleting it.
“My friend, if you are receiving this transmission, that means that you’re alive. You might be surprised to hear this, but I am alive too. I guess we can call it even. A lot has happened since we last saw each other.”
What had happened the last time they saw each other? Din had told me about how he stole the kid back but he hadn’t gone into great detail about who all was there. Was Greef there? It wouldn’t surprise me.
“The man who hired you is still here.” He said.
My eyes went wide. How old was this message? I had to find out before I watched the rest of it. I pressed a few buttons and then a small time stamp hologram came up. The transmission was less than a week old.
I went back to the transmission and continued playing it.
“-and his ranks of ex-imperial guards have grown. They have imposed despotic rule over my city, which has impeded the livelihood of the Guild. We conceded him an enemy, but we cannot get close enough to take him out. If you would consider one last commission, I will very much make it worth your while. You have been successful so far staving off their hunters, but they will not stop until they have what they want. So here’s my proposition, Return to Navarro. Being the child and the girl as bait. I will arrange an exchange and provide loyal guild members as protection. Once we get near the client, you kill him, and we both get what we want. If you succeed, you can keep the kid and the girl, and both of your names will be cleared with the Guild, for someone of honor should not have to live in exile. I await your arrival with optimism.”
I watched as he pressed a button ending the transmission. I had to know if Din knew about this yet. I dug the comlink out of my pocket. I couldn’t risk the mission they were on by saying something so I just pressed the button and allowed a few seconds of static to go through on his side and then waited for a response. Almost instantly he was talking to me.
“Yn, it’s late, are you alright?” He asked.
“I’m fine, just can’t sleep.” I confessed.
“I’m sorry, we’re getting ready to head back. I’ll be home before lunch tomorrow.” He said and it filled me with relief.
“That’s good. We miss you.” I said.
“I miss you guys too. So are you just laying in bed right now?”
“No, I’m actually sitting up in the cockpit.”
“Oh, okay. Did you get up there fine?”
“Yeah… have you looked at the transmitter recently?” I asked, getting to the whole reason why I called him.
“Not in the last few days. Why? Is there a transmission?”
“Yeah, from Greef.”
“Oh, what did it say?” He asked.
I sighed.
“A lot. Long story short is that the man who hired you to get the kid is still there and he’s causing issues with the city, Greef wants you to come back and take him out. I’ll leave it alone so you can watch the whole thing when you get back.” I explained in short.
“Okay. I hate to do this but I have to go, we’re on the move again.” He said.
“It’s okay, be careful.” I said before ending the call.
I grabbed his holopad once again. He would deny this to his grave, but Din was a sucker for old holovids. He had a couple of his favorites saved on the device. We actually used to watch them together when jobs were slow or we were heading back to Navarro after collecting a handful of bounties and we needed some time to unwind. I swear we had watched them so many times, we had memorized the entire movie and didn’t even need to watch it.
I found the one I was looking for and tapped it. It took a moment to load and for a moment I got disappointed thinking that it wouldn’t work but soon the image appeared to start the holovid and I set the device up on top of the dash so I didn’t have to hold it.
It had been so long since I had watched this one. I mentally made a note to watch it again with Din after he got back.
I wasn’t sure when it happened but I finally fell asleep. It was far from a comfortable sleep, more like the ones when your body is just too exhausted to stay awake any longer and just shuts down. I was woken up to someone calling my name from bellow. At first, I thought it was just a dream because Din shouldn’t be back this early. It was only the morning. Once I gained my senses from being asleep I checked the time, 11:13. I overslept. Was the kid okay? Did someone take him? I was panicked. I heard someone coming up the ladder. I was struggling to get the blanket off me and get to my feet.
“Yn?” It was Din.
“Yeah, in here.” I called to him as he stepped into view.
“Good morning.” He teased.
“I know I way overslept. Is the kid okay?” I asked.
“Yeah, he’s playing down below. I don’t even know how he got out of his pod.” Din explained walking closer to me.
“Oh, weird.” I played dumb. I knew exactly how he did it. He used the force. My mother used to tell me that I would do it when I was a toddler.
Din was now directly in front of me and had a hand resting gently on my cheek. “Are you feeling better?”
“Yeah, my back hurts from sitting in the chair all ni-” I didn’t get to finish my sentence because he was cutting me off.
“Did you leave the main engine running this whole time?” He exclaimed, dropping his hand from my face and quickly stepping around me to get closer to the panel on the dash.
“I don’t think so, I thought you switched it to the generators before you left.” I said confused.
“No, I told you that you would have to do it. I said that I had to go and didn’t have time to.” He said frustrated.
“Din, I’m sorry. It was a misunderstanding. These things happen, it’s okay.” I tried to calm him down.
He pressed a few buttons on the dash and groaned. “Great.” He mumbled under his breath, just loud enough for the modulator to pick up.
“What?” I aked stepping closer to see what he was doing.
“You wasted half of the fuel we had left. Well only be able to make it to the next system over.” He sighed in frustration.
“I’m sorry Din, I didn’t do it on purpose. Let me help you find a planet to refuel on.” I offered my help.
“Fine.” He said, and picked up his holo pad, and tried to turn it on.
I bit my lip waiting for him to lash out again.
“It’s dead.” He said tossing it into the chair.
“I’m sorry Din, I forgot to turn it off. Let me go get mine.” I was trying to fix the situation.
“You know what, don’t worry about it, I’ll do it. Why don’t you just go down and watch the Kid, I’ll handle everything up here.” He was angry and I knew he was. But that didn’t give him the right to be rude to me.
“Din, I know you’re mad, but please jus-”
“Mad? I’m pissed, Yn. Half of the credits I just busted my ass for are now having to go to get fuel for the ship. Do you have any idea how much fuel costs these days?” He sassed.
“Yeah, I do actually. And if just leaving the main engine on overnight used that much fuel, then we clearly didn’t have a whole lot left and would have had to refuel soon anyways.” I tried to reason with him.
“Just go.” He said shaking his head and turning his back to me.
It hurt. I won’t lie and say that it didn’t because it did. I knew that not all of his anger was directed at me, I was just the tipping point this time.
Din didn’t get mad often, he would usually just bottle it up inside and then just one small incident like right now would set him off and all his pent up anger will come out at once. When this happens, there’s no telling how long he’ll be mad for, so it is best to just let him calm down and vent for a while.
Once I left the cockpit Din made sure to seal off the door that lead into it. I carefully climbed down to the main part of the ship. There I found the kid awake and playing on mine and Din’s bed. I made sure he was okay before making my way to the kitchen, it was close enough to lunchtime so I figured I might as well start on making some food for everyone.
The ship was silent, not even the kid was making much noise. I didn’t like it. Part of what makes the Crest our home was the constant noises. From the kid playing and giggling to the different mechanical noises from the dash up in the cockpit. The Crest was never quiet. At least not until right now.
I hated it. It wasn’t right. It made the ship feel cold and uninviting. It suddenly felt like the room was spinning, and everything was falling apart. It felt like my Force sense was being overloaded. This hasn’t happened in so long, I forgot how bad it felt.
I sat down at the table and tried to focus on anything that would help decrease the overload. At first, I tried to focus on the kid in the other room, but his connection to the Force made it worse, so I tried to block him away just for the time being. Next, I tried Din. I had familiarized myself with the way he feels through the Force, a long time ago. I used him a lot when we were younger to ground myself.
Slowly I felt everything calm down around me. Just as everything was becoming normal once again, I felt something off with him. Secrecy.
He usually had a slight aura of secrecy around him, but this was different from anything I had felt from him before. I tried not to dwell on it too much. The sudden overload was over and I wasn’t feeling dizzy so I slowly stood up and began to make lunch like I had originally intended to do.
Once it was ready I fed the kid his lunch. Since he slept later today than he usually did, I knew he wouldn’t go down for a nap so I let him go back to playing with a promise that I would read to him in a little bit. I stood at the bottom of the ladder and called to Din.
“Din, I made some lunch. It’s going to get cold soon. If you don’t want to eat right now, I can save it.”
I heard the door slide open, “I’ll eat after we refuel. We’re about to land. Hold onto something.”
I sighed. The kid was fine where he was on our bed, so I just grabbed onto the side of the ladder and braced for landing. After I felt the ship touchdown and then I went back to the kitchen. I was going to save Din’s food so he could heat it back up after we refueled.
While in the kitchen I heard Din come down. When I walked out I found him standing in front of the weapons safe.
“What are you doing?” I asked confused, I thought we were just refueling.
“This isn’t the safest planet to be on but it was the only station we could get to without risking getting stranded. The Kid stays in his pod, you stay right next to me. And one last thing, wait here.” He said and went back up into the upper part of the ship.
I waited patiently for him to come back. When he did he was hauling a crate with him.
He dropped it between the two of us. Then he went to grab a crowbar out of his tool cabinet. As he pried it open I realized that this wasn’t the first time it had been opened. My eyes widened when I saw what was inside. Armor. Mandalorian Armor.
“What’s this?” I asked.
“I had it made shortly after you came back. I’ve kept it just in case.” Din said.
Din’s PoV
I thought back to that day that felt like it was years ago when it was really only about five months ago.
Flashback:
I had been thinking about this a lot, and I was finally doing it. I knew there may be times when Yn may need some extra protection, even if I was with her. So I decided to contact the Armorer back on Navarro. Yn had gone to bed early so I took the opportunity to sneak up into the cockpit and call her.
I waited for a moment. After hearing a slight crackle in the static I knew that it had been answered and her image appeared in the hologram.
"I need some help." I said.
"I will need you to be more specific." The armorer's accented voice came through the other end.
I sighed, "I need some armor to be made."
"I  just made you armor made of Beskar only a few months ago. Why do you need new armor?" She asked, confused.
"It's not for me, it's for someone else." I admitted.
"Who? A fellow Mandalorian?" She asked.
I hesitated, "They were." Was all I could bring myself to say.
"If they have removed their helmet in front of anyone, then they are no longer a Mandalorian and can no longer wear our armor. It would be an insult to our people and our history."
"Please," I pleaded, "Please just hear me out."
"Very well."
"She didn't remove her helmet. She never intended for it to happen. She was on a hunt for a bounty, alone, when everything went wrong. She had gotten shot and was bleeding out. A man found her, told her he was a doctor, and would help her. At first, she declined, but he promised not to remove her helmet. He claimed to have known a few Mandalorians in the past and knew of the importance of the helmets. She told me that she didn't know why, but she agreed to let him help her.
“He took her in and she eventually passed out from blood loss. He was able to save her and stitched up her wound for her. When she finally woke up, everything was gone. All her weapons, armor, underclothes, and helmet were gone. He had taken advantage of her. She managed to escape. But she had a bounty out on her head because as she escaped she killed a few ex imperial generals. That's how I found her again. I couldn't make her go back to that man, she's been staying with me ever since. She needs something to protect her when I can't. Please."
"You knew her before her incident? Was she ever here on Navarro?" She asked.
"Yes." Was my only answer.
"What is her name?"
I sighed once again, I knew that not many knew what had happened to her and I wasn’t sure if she even wanted anyone to know.
"It's Yn." I said.
"I see. Under normal circumstances, I would not do this, but she is special. I will make the armor. Is there anything I should know before I begin forging the metal?" The way she asked the question made it seem like she knew something was up.
I was silent for a moment. "Yes."
"And that is?"
"She's pregnant." I said and waited for a reaction.
"I will make sure her armor will accommodate that." The armorer finally said.
"Thank you." I said and felt my shoulder relax some.
"Is that all?" She asked.
“Yes.” I said.
“Very well, I will get to work on the sets of armor right away. It is not safe for you to return to Navarro, so someone will have to deliver it to you. I will contact you when the exchange is ready.” She said.
“Wait sets of armor? Why are you making more than one?” I asked.
“One will accommodate her pregnancy, the other she will be able to wear afterwards.”
I only nodded.
“I must go now.” She said and the connection went dead.
End of Flashback
I was glad that I had it made. It would give me peace of mind. But I still didn’t know what she had meant when she said that Yn was special. All I knew is that I was grateful. Because now it would come to good use.
Yn PoV
“Wow, I don’t know what to say. Thank you, Din.” I was shocked. It was sweet that Din had thought of a way to help keep me safe.
“You’re welcome. Find something to wear under it and I’ll move the crate into the kitchen so you can change.” He said and I nodded.
It wasn’t uncommon for us to use the kitchen to change into and out of armor, the kitchen table provided the perfect surface to lay everything out on.
I grabbed some leggings and a long sleeve shirt then went into the kitchen.
“I’ll get the kid ready while you change.” Dins said and walked out.
His tone was short and to the point and I was having a hard time telling if he was still mad at me or mad at himself for snapping at me.
I dug through the crate and began to lay out all the armor. I noticed there was no helmet, but didn’t think much of it, Din probably had it.
I started with the easiest parts to get on which were the chest pieces, the shoulder pauldrons, the abdomen part, and the vambraces. The breastplate was detached from the part that covered my stomach So I put that on first. I had only seen one, maybe two pregnant Mandalorians before, and I had always wondered how their armor worked. The abdomen piece was actually divided into six pieces, which at first seemed like a lot to me, but once I began to put it on it made much more sense. Three were for the middle and sides for the upper part of my stomach, and the other three were for the lower part. The armor obviously wasn’t for you to run into battle with, which you shouldn’t be doing anyway, but it would protect you to some degree.
Once the abdomen pieces were on along with the breastplate, I worked on the shoulder pauldrons, which were exactly like my olds one so it didn’t take me long. Then I slipped the vambraces on to my forearms and made sure they were secure. I took one look at the knee pads, thigh, and shin guards and knew that there was no way I would be able to get them on securely without help. I sat down and was able to slip on the knee pads and shin guards, but I couldn’t get them to sit right with the angle I was at.
“Din, could you come help me, please?” I hollered for him.
He was walking into the kitchen in an instant. “Yeah, what do you need?” He asked, his tone had softened significantly.
“Tightening the shin guards and kneepads, and help to get the thigh guards on, I can’t get it with my stomach in the way.” I said with a slight laugh, causing him to exhale slightly in an attempt to laugh too.
He helped me with the rest of the armor, and even tied my shoes for me, which I was grateful for. Then he was getting up and heading to the ramp to leave.
“Wait, Din, aren’t we forgetting something?” I asked and he turned to me, confused.
“No, I don’t think so…” He said, tilting his head in thought.
“Where’s the helmet?” I asked.
For a moment, he didn’t say anything. I gave him an expectant look as if to say, I’m waiting for an answer.
“It’s up in the cockpit.” He finally said.
“Oh, can you go get real quick? Me and the kid will wait for you.” I said.
He sighed, “I left it up there on purpose.”
I was shocked, to say the least. I gave him an incredulous look. He tilted his head down as if he was guilty.
“Really? That defeats the whole purpose of wearing armor, why do I even need the rest of it then?” I asked.
“Because this planet isn’t safe, Yn, and we need to refuel so we can’t just stay on the ship.” Din said exasperated.
“Well if anyone wanted to hurt me here, now they’ll just go straight for my head. Good job, Din.” I retorted.
“Yn, you and I both know you can’t wear the helmet, you’re not a Manda-”
“Don’t you dare finish that fucking sentence.” I was quick to cut him off.
I couldn’t really be that mad at him, he didn’t know. If I had manned up and told that I was a Grey Jedi, and didn’t take the same Creed as him, he would know that there were different rules for Mandalorians that were Jedis. It’s up to the Elders to decide if we have broken our Creed, but I haven’t gotten the chance to come before them because I still haven’t told Din.
“Yn…” Din sighed, “This is the way.” His helmet tilted towards me as if he was looking at me expectantly.
“Din, you can’t solve all your issues with just saying this is the way. And According to you, I can’t say those words anymore.” I wanted so badly to bite my tongue and not say anything but the words were falling from my mouth before I could stop them.
“Come on, Yn, don’t be like that. You know I didn’t mean it like that” He tried to backtrack.
“No Din, I get it, let’s just get off refuel. Then when we get back on, we can regroup and decide what our next course of action is.” I said and began making my way over to the ramp to leave.

My eyes snapped open and I bolted so hard I smacked my head on the wall. Then I became painfully aware of the lack of warmth beside me. I was out of bed in an instant. Yn wasn’t there. I began to panic as I looked frantically around the room.
Then just as I registered the glow coming from under the door to the refresher it went out and the door opened, I could just barely make out the silhouette of her body as we both stood in the pitch blackness of the room.
I couldn't help the sob that escaped my lips from just seeing her standing there alive as I threw my arms around her and held her as close as I could.
"Din, what happened? I heard something hit the wall, are you okay?" She asked, still half asleep but her voice was full of worry.
"I lost you." I mumbled.
"Nightmare?" She asked understandingly and I nodded, still holding her tightly.
We had both had our fair share of nightmares that broke us during our times of bounty hunting together. But this one took the spot for the worse one I had ever had.
Her hand was rubbing up and down my back as I continued to cry in her arms.
"Let's go lay back down, okay? We don't have to go back to sleep, just lay down together, okay?" She asked.
I knew that her back hurt the most right after she wakes up or after a long day, and since she had just gotten up to go to the bathroom, her back would start to hurt soon. So, I didn't answer nor did I protest her guiding us back to our bed.
When we got to the bed Yn got in first. She had scooted further up on the bed, slouching against the back wall with a pillow supporting her lower back. Then I got in and laid down with my head resting gently on her chest.
"Do you want to talk about it?" She asked.
I shook my head no slightly. I didn’t want her to get scared by the dream nor did I want to have to think about it any more than I already was.
“A bounty hunter found you while I wasn’t here.” Was all I was able to tell her.
I felt her chest rise slightly and then lower once again as she sighed gently in sympathy. “It’s okay Din, it was just a dream. Nothing is going to happen. I promise.” She said and then we continued to lay there in comfortable silence.
One of her hands was running through my hair and lightly scratching at my scalping calming me. I had one of my hands on her stomach, I could feel the Bean moving around a lot and it helped me ground myself to this moment and push out the nightmare some. I was grateful for this moment, usually, she hated when they moved around this much when she was tired but she didn't say a word about it right now.
After spending about ten minutes in silence I lifted my head to look at her despite the darkness. I went to apologize for keeping her up but she spoke before I got the chance to.
"Don't." She said gently as her hand moved from my hair to cup my cheek.
"Don't what?" I whispered, trying to play dumb.
"Apologize, there's no need to." She said wiping away some of the small tears that had slipped out. I turned my head and pressed a kiss to her palm before returning my head to where it was resting before. My hand found its way back to her stomach and began to make circles with my thumb, just like it always does when we lay together.
"Yn?" I called out to her in a whisper after a few minutes.
"Yeah?" She called back, I could hear the drowsiness in her voice.
"That dream, it made me realize something." I said.
"What?" It came out as more of a hum rather than an actual word.
"I love you. And I'm scared to lose you. I can't survive without you.." I trailed off some as tears pricked at my eyes once again.
"Din, I love you too. I never want to lose you either. If it wasn't for you I probably wouldn't be here." Her words were getting more slurred as sleep begged to take over her consciousness. But that didn’t make her words any less truthful. I knew she meant them.
There was silence for a split moment.
"Marry me." I blurted out, still in a whisper.
“Okay.” She said, her voice suddenly sounded much more awake and alert.
"This isn't just because of the dream, I really want to be with you. I have wanted to be with you for a long time, since we were both foundlings even before we took the Creed.  Please don't turn me down just because you think it was the dream... wait did you say okay?" I sat up and turned to her once again as I sat on my knees as I began rambling.
"Yes, of course, I did. I want to marry you too, Din. I love you, I love the kid and I know you love this baby.” She placed her hand on top of mine that was on her belly, “And this way it can really be yours. And all four of us can really be a family.” She said.
I left my hand with hers on her stomach as the other one found its way to hold her cheek as I leaned forward. My lips found hers and she melted into the kiss.
I wish the kiss could have lasted forever, but it was broken by Yn pulling back as she let out a yawn. I laughed a little and rested my forehead against hers.
“Why don’t we lay back down for real?” I suggested.
“Mhm.” She hummed.
I helped her scoot back down and adjust her pillow under her head and then laid down behind her. I couldn’t tell if it was just my imagination or if she was really laying closer to me. The Bean was still squirming and kicking occasionally, and I knew it would keep Yn up longer so I did the only thing I could think to do to calm them down. My thumb was drawing the typical circles where my hand was, which also always seemed to make Yn more drowsy too. Then I began to sing, I’m not sure where it came from but it just seemed right in this moment. I am by no means a singer, but there were a couple of songs I can vaguely remember my mother singing to me when I was little. I had done this a few times before when I couldn’t sleep and I didn’t want the Bean’s sudden alertness to wake up Yn who needed the rest. I had even sung to the Kid quite a few times as well when he was having a rough night. Any time I had done it before, I had always made sure Yn was asleep, but not this time.
I felt Yn relax even more into me as I began singing softly. There were a few parts that I couldn’t quite remember the words to so I just hummed through those parts. By the time the song was over the Bean had stilled itself almost completely, more than enough for Yn to fall peacefully asleep. I knew I wasn’t going to go back to sleep, just the thought of having a similar nightmare was more than enough to keep me awake. I only had a couple of hours until the sun came up, then all three of us would go into town together to get the supplies we needed. I was not about to leave her here alone. There would be no reason for anyone here to recognize any of us so we should be okay if we all went together.
By the time morning rolled around, I was still awake so I took the opportunity to slip out of bed and make some quick breakfast for us. As I snuck my arm out from under hers and then continued to carefully get out of the bed she shifted slightly and I worried for a moment that she was going to wake up. Luckily she only shifted some to get comfortable once more before falling back completely asleep.
I made sure the kid was okay before making my way into the kitchen. I decided to just keep it easy and just make some eggs up real quick. I knew the kid would eat seeing as Yn had made them for him a few times before and as far as I knew they didn’t mess with Yn’s stomach or make her nauseous. And we had some on hand. So all around it was a safe bet.
I began cooking the eggs in two separate pans since they wouldn’t fit in one. Personally I had never been a huge fan of just plain eggs, but I ate them quite often because they were quick and easy to make plus they were filling so they were good to eat when on the go constantly. Usually, I would dump some random spices to make them a little better. So I opened the cabinet that Yn recently had deemed the spice cabinet.
My eyes widened at what I found first. Yn must have gotten it on a supply run and didn’t tell me. Before I could grab the small bottle of spice I heard Yn call out to me.
“Your helmet on?” She asked.
“Hold on.” I said before I grabbed it from where it sat on the table. I put it on then called for her to let her know she was safe to come in, “Alright you’re good.”
My back was to her so I couldn't see where she was heading. I honestly expected her to just go and sit at the table until the food was ready. So I was surprised to feel her arms around my torso and feel her face lean into me between my shoulder blades and her stomach press against my body as she hugged me from behind.
“Good morning.” She mumbled before pressing a kiss between my shoulder blades then resting her head back to where it had been before.
“Good morning to you too. You’re very affectionate today.” I commented before carefully turning around in her arms to hold her in my arms.
“What I can’t love on my Fiancé?” She asked looking up to me.
Hearing her call me that brought a smile to my face.
“Of course you can, as long as I can do the same.” I said leaning my head down to lightly rest the upper part of my helmet on her forehead.
She hummed in contentment and then said, “I love you, Din.”
“I love you too.” I said smiling despite knowing she couldn’t see it.
“I should finish the eggs, they’ll burn.”
“But you’re so warm.” She said pulling me closer for a brief moment before letting me go so I could finish.
“You know you wouldn’t be so cold if you wore something warmer to bed.” I said turning back to check on the food. Of course, I was only teasing.
“But I’m comfy.” She said as she sat down at the table. She was still only wearing sleep shorts and one of my old long-sleeved shirts.
I laughed at her response. My eyes wandered back to the jar of spices in the cabinet. “Hey, did you buy this for something specific?” I asked, holding it up for her to see what I was talking about.
“No, I found it on a supply run, they had quite a few traditional Mandalorian goods, I decided to grab some just in case. Were you going to put it in your eggs?” She asked.
“I thought about it.” I said.
“Well put some in mine, please. I remember we used to dump whatever spices we had into our eggs to make them better when we were hopping from job to job.” She repeated the thought I had earlier.
I continued the eggs and added some of the spice to ours, leaving the kids as they were. If I would have put it into his he would’ve definitely been in tears. Dishes from Mandalore had a reputation of being incredibly spicy, it takes time to get used to eating them.
Once everything was done I put mine and Yn onto plates and took the kid’s off the heat but left it covered so one of us could feed him a little bit once he was up.
I put both of our plates on the table as well as a glass of water for each of us before walking over to shut off the lights so we could eat together.
“This is really good, Din.” She said between bites.
“Thank you.”
The rest of the meal passed in silence as we both devoured our food. I had to admit it was probably the best plate of eggs I had ever made. After we were both finished I collected the plates to wash them. Then the kid’s cooing and gurgling started up.
“I guess someone is up.” Yn said.
“Yeah, would you go get him and I’ll get his plate ready?” I asked already reaching for my helmet to put it back on.
“Yeah, I can feed him while you get ready to head out.” She offered on her way out.
By the time the kid was halfway through eating I was already out of the refresher from taking a shower. I began to get dressed and I could hear Yn to talking to the kid.
“Me and your Papa are going to get married...I know it’s so exciting! But we have to wait until we can have another Mandalorian present, but I’m willing to wait as long as I have to… He’s going to be more worried about us, he had a really scary dream last night… but don’t worry, he will never let anything happen to you. He loves you too much.”
I smiled as I got dressed and put on my armor as I listened to her talk to him. Once I was done I walked back into the kitchen to switch off with her.
“I’ll take the kid so you can go get ready, I left plenty of hot water for you if you wanted to shower.” I said, offering her a hand to help her up.
“Thanks, I’ll be quick so we can head out. Did you wear an extra shirt under your armor?” She asked, stopping in the doorway to turn back to me.
“No…” I trailed off.
“Put the kid in his pod while I’m in the shower and put on an extra shirt, you’re going to get sick.”  She said.
I did as she said while she took her shower. Neither of us ever took very long in the shower, less than five minutes. The Crest never had a huge supply of warm water so we had learned long ago that when you’re showing you do it quickly or it’ll end up freezing you out.
When she came out I expected her to be dressed and nearly ready to go but when I turned around after hearing the door open I was surprised to see her with no shirt.
Yn Pov
After I got out of the shower I realized I didn’t actually grab a shirt, just a sports bra. I shrugged then put on the clothes I did have. Then I walked out to go get my shirt and Din turned to me just as I stepped out.
“What?” I asked as he stood staring slightly.
“Nothing, but I think you should put on a little bit more… it’s cold.” He said with a deadpan sense of humor.
“Oh really? I didn’t notice.” I said walking over to where our clothes were kept, “I forgot a shirt.” I dug through the shits I had trying to find a long-sleeved one that would fit. It was buried at the bottom but I finally found one.
I put it on then reached for my jacket. I slipped it on over my arms and went to zip it. And therein lies the issue. It wouldn’t zip. I tried multiple times.
“Damn it!” I exclaimed quietly as Din was getting the kid ready.
“Are you okay?” He asked.
I took the jacket off and haphazardly tossed it back to where it was.
“Stupid jacket won’t zip over my stomach.” I sighed.
“Grab one of my thick undershirts and wear it like a sweatshirt. It’ll keep you warm.” He suggested.
While his suggestion was very helpful, that wasn’t the point. I could care less about being warm right now. The fact was that jacket was one of the first clothes that I had I put on and realized after the fact that it was now too small and I had no other solutions for that were from my own clothes. Most of the time I could tell before putting something on that it wasn’t going to fit me, or if I put on a shirt and it felt too tight on my stomach I had plenty of others. But this time that was the only jacket I actually owned and it wouldn’t fit.
I’m not sure why it affected me so much but it did. I once again was haphazard with my actions as I dug out one of the shirts that he is talking about. Once I found it and pulled it on and turned to him.
“Let’s go.” I said. My tone was short, but it wasn’t necessarily directed at him.
“Yn, it’s okay, it was just a jacket. This only means that the Bean is growing strong and healthy. It’s natural.” He tried to comfort me.
He was right and I knew that, truly I did. But it didn’t make it any less upsetting.
“I know Din, I’m just frustrated. Okay? I’m allowed to be frustrated. Now let’s go. The sooner we leave, the sooner we can get back and be warm.” I said, holding my hand out for him to take.
He took my hand in his and then I used my free hand to take the child. He was wrapped up in a warm blanket, ready to face the coldness outside of the ship. Once we were off the ship, Din let go of my hand briefly to shut the ramp using the panel on his forearm.
“Okay, so we need bacta spray and patches, some extra bandages just in case. Is there anything specific that you want me to cook? We can try and get what I would need to make it while we’re out.” Din said we began the trek into town.
“Honestly, ever since I bought those Mandalorian spices, I’ve been craving Tiingilar. But it takes so long to make.” I said honestly.
I had encountered a few cravings while I’ve been pregnant, and I’ve come to discover that most of them are foods I used to eat with the family that took me in after being rescued. They had parents who grew up making traditional Mandalorian foods and they had continued to make them as well and eventually taught me how to make some of them as well.
“Well since we have the spices for it, it shouldn't be too hard to get the rest of what we need for it. I’ll make it for you after the job for Trak.” He said.
“Thank you. We’ll have to make the kid bone broth that night though. He won’t be able to handle it.” I said smiling down at the small green creature in my arm.
“Is there anything else?” He asked.
“I know it’s not essential, but I’ve already reread the book I have to him twice. If we could just see if anyone has books, I would appreciate stopping to look.” I said.
“Of course we can.” He said, causing a large smile to creep onto my face. My frustration from earlier had melted away.
Finding the medical supplies and ingredients for future meals had been easy, so was finding a store that sold books. The hard part now was picking a book.
I was debating on getting a short one that we could finish before the baby was born so I wouldn’t have two feel guilty if there were days when I just didn’t have time or the energy to read to him. But then I felt selfish at that thought.
“Din, I don't know how long of a book I should get. Should I get one that I can finish reading him before the baby comes or a longer one that will last until after the Bean gets here? I just don’t want him to feel like there’s a new baby so we had to finish our book sooner or be upset if there’s a day after the baby’s here that I just can’t read to him.” I voiced my concerns to Din.
“Get a longer one. That way you won’t have to rush and if there’s ever a time that you need to take care of the baby, I can always read it for you two.” Din offered.
“You’re amazing, Din.” I said, squeezing his hand that was still laced with mine.
I handed the kid over to him and began looking for a longer book. It took me about five minutes to find one that I thought everyone would enjoy. We began to make our way to the front of the store when the kid began squealing slightly and reaching towards something.
I looked over to where he was reaching and saw a very cute blanket on display.
Tumblr media
“Hey Din, I know you say we buy too much for the kid but look at it.” I said, dragging him over to it. “Plus the blankets we have aren’t nearly as soft.” I added after feeling it.
“You can get it for him if I can get this one for the Bean. We don’t have anything for them yet. And we don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl, so this one is perfect.” Din said pointing to a blanket that was folded beside the other one.
Tumblr media
Hearing Din said that almost made me cry. He was going to be such a great dad.
“Deal.” I said smiling.
He handed me the kid and let go of my hand as he carefully took the first blanket down off where it was being displayed and gently folded it. Then he picked up the other one and we began to walk to the front where the store clerk was. After he paid, we began to make our way back to our ship.
“That was a successful trip, I’d say.” I said as we tag-teamed putting everything away.
The kid was wrapped up in his new blanket, completely happy with his life at the moment.
Din had emptied a drawer for us to start putting stuff for the Bean. I was folding up the blanket and putting in the drawer when Din came in.
“Can I ask you something?” He asked.
“Of course.” I said, turning to him.
“Just be honest, okay?”
“Okay.” I was getting suspicious and slightly nervous now.
“Do you want the Bean to be a boy or a girl?” He asked.
“What do you want it to be?” I asked, trying to avoid the question.
“No, no, no. I asked you first.” He said playfully.
I sighed heavily before walking over and sitting on the edge of our bed. I looked down at my hands trying to gather my thoughts. I had been dreading this question and finding out. I could feel my emotions building up. It wasn’t Din’s fault, it was a genuine question and he had no idea how much it would have affected me. Before he had a chance to take back his question I was answering.
“As much as I’ve always wanted a baby girl. Despite how cute you would look with our little girl, I don’t want one now. I really don’t want this baby to be a girl, Din.” I said tears pooling in my eyes.
“Hey, hey, hey. It’s okay. Why are you crying? It’s okay.” He said, at my side, the moment the first year slipped out.
“It’s just… sometimes I can’t help but think about how I got pregnant. And anytime I do I get scared about the idea of it being a girl. I don’t want her to grow up and have the same thing happen to her. I couldn’t live with knowing that she had to go through the same thing I did.” I confessed. I was full-on crying now. I was grateful that Din had already removed his armpit as I cried into his chest and he held me.
“Sh, cyar'ika. It’s okay. Everything is going to be okay.” He continued to whisper to me as he tried to calm me down.
“If it’s a girl, I promise you that I will never let a man hurt her. She won’t even be allowed to see anybody until she’s 50 if that’s what it takes.” He said trying to lighten the mood that settled onto the ship.
While his efforts were appreciated, it did little to stop my fears. Of course, if it was a girl, I knew Din would love her and protect her, but that doesn’t change the fact that she would eventually be out on her own. Right now, having a boy just seemed better than having a girl. I would love to have a baby girl in the future with Din, but it just wasn’t the right timing now.
“If it helps, I want a boy first. Growing up, before the Mandalorians rescued me, I always remember wanting a little sister. I wanted to be able to be the protective older brother. Since I never got that, I knew if I ever had children I wanted them to.” He said, a hand resting on my stomach.
I knew I had to bite the bullet. I had to know if it was a boy or a girl. I had only a few months left to get over that fear if it was a girl. I had a lot of mental baggage over this and I needed to do my best to get past it so I could focus on the baby once it was here.
“Din, go get the envelope. I’m ready to know.” I said sitting up off of him.
“Are you sure?” He said.
I only nodded. He stood and went up into the cockpit briefly before returning with the envelope. I was nearly shaking with nerves.
“You open it.” I said. I knew I wouldn’t be able to. I would psych myself out.
“Okay.” He said.
He carefully ripped the seal on it and pulled out the papers and scans from my last doctor visit.
I was mentally cursing the helmet since it was blocking my ability to read his expression. He was taking a painfully long time to read it over.
“Din?” I asked.
His head snapped up and he sighed slowly.

HIM WITH GLASSES MAKES ME WEAK!!!!!!
Tumblr media
There were still about three-fourths of a day of travel left until we reached Kuiil.
We were all sitting in the cockpit. Din was flying per usual, and I was sitting with one of my legs bouncing uncontrollably and one hand absentmindedly rubbing my stomach. Cara was in the seat opposite of me, and the kid was playing in his corner. I had been restless all day it seems. And today hit like a ton of bricks. Luckily no one had noticed yet. Or so I thought.
“Are you okay?” Din asked, taking in the ticking of my foot against the metal floor.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” I breathed out.
I was far from fine. Very far. I need some form of relief but had no way of getting it and it was driving me crazy. Usually, I would be able to suppress it and ignore it but today it was suddenly much stronger. Cara eyed me questioningly.
Silence settled between us and usually that was fine. We sat in comfortable silence quite a bit on any normal day, but now it was deafening.
“Hey Mando, did you ever… you know, do it, with someone after we quit working together, or even while we were working together?” I asked, without any regrets, maybe this would be enough. Just talking about it. I had to admit though using the name Mando felt weird, I had become accustomed to calling him by his name, but since Cara was here, I couldn’t.
Cara's eyes went wide as she turned to me trying to figure out if I had really just flat out asked him those questions with her sitting right beside us.
“What?” Din asked, turning to me for a second. Even through his helmet, I knew he was shocked at the question.
“Just trying to make some interesting conversation, so did you?” I pressed.
“Yes, I did.” He stated matter of factly. Mentally I was screaming for some elaboration on his answer.
“Really, who? Please don’t say Xi’an.” I asked, digging for more details.
“No, definitely not Xi’an. It was just a few one-night stand type of things after we parted ways. They were nothing serious, just a way to take the edge off. Usually, I would just do it myself but I guess sometimes you just need the real deal.” He finally gave into the conversation.
“Cara?” I asked, turning to her.
Her eyebrows were knit together as if she was considering whether or not she should answer.
“Oh, what the hell. I did a few times, usually when me and one of the others got a little too drunk, but we never really talked about it. Most of the time we just pretended like it never happened. There really wasn’t much time for that kind of thing. What about you Yn?” She asked, smirking.
I sighed. I knew I brought this upon myself. I made them answer I have to too.
“I’m in the same boat as him, I guess.” I breathed, it was getting unbearable at this point and now I was left empty-handed seeing as the conversation had basically ended. My foot went back to tapping on the floor and I shift uncomfortably in my chair.
“Yn, are you sure you’re okay?” He asked again.
“Yes.” I answered breathily.
“Really?” Cara interjected.
“No. I’m not fine.” I finally gave in.
“What’s wrong?” Din asked full of concern.
Now I was embarrassed. I couldn’t bring myself to flat out say that I was in a certain, delicate situation with myself. I had to ease into it.
“Did you read any of the pregnancy articles on my datapad?” I asked him.
Cara stifled a laugh as she had probably just figured out where this was going.
“I read all the ones you had saved, yes.” He said.
“You’re too good to me…” I sighed, I hadn’t expected him to read all of them, hell, I hadn’t read every single one of them even, “Do you remember reading something about how later in a pregnancy, a woman’s sex drive can rise?”
Cara laughed for real this time but stopped when I shot her a look. And she threw her hands up in surrender as a way to apologize but her smirk remained.
“Yes…” he paused for a moment before continuing, “Is that what this is about?” He asked I had a feeling he was smirking under his helmet.
“You know, I laughed when I read that. I really didn’t think it was a thing, but man it is real. Very real.” I confessed sighing and resting my head back against the chair.
“You know there are other ways to relive that, right?” Cara suggested, now there was a clear trace of teasing on her.
Din nodded in her direction before adding on to the conversation by saying, “She’s right you know?”
“Yes, I’m not stupid.” I said with a sighing.
“Well, just go down to the main part of the ship, close the door to the cockpit and take care of what you need to do.” He suggested simply as if this wasn’t the most embarrassing conversation we could ever have. In fact, I’m pretty sure this is the most embarrassing thing we had ever discussed.
“Don’t you think I’ve tried that?” I asked him.
“And…”
I ran a hand down my face, I was really about to expose myself.
“It didn’t work, if anything I swear it made it worse. It’s like my body is retaliating because of it.” I sighed, I was very frustrated at the moment.
Din and Cara both laughed. They really laughed at me.
“Assholes.” I mumbled and crossed my arms over my chest. I refused to even look in either of their directions, instead, I focussed on the blue lights zipping past the window in front of me.
“You have to admit this is pretty funny. I mean, don’t you find it just the slightest bit funny? It didn’t work.” He said.
I could still hear small chuckles coming from him. I knew he wasn’t making fun of me and I knew that deep down it was a pretty funny situation, but the need that I was feeling made it impossible to realize that.
“Guys, just stop, please. It’s not funny, it’s actually quite annoying. So please shut the fuck up. I don’t want to talk about it anymore. I shouldn’t have brought it up. Let’s just forget this conversation happened and go back to sitting in silence.” I rolled my eyes at them.
“Okay, I’m sorry. I’m sorry.” Din was quick to apologize, his small fits of laughter were now completely gone. And Cara’s had pretty much stopped as well.
“Yeah, sure you are.” I mumbled.
“I am really,” he turned the ship on autopilot, and turned to me, “Let me prove it.”
“What do you mean?” I asked, I knew what I wanted him to mean but I needed to confirm that was actually what he was saying.
He stood and walked over to me, his back facing Cara.
“I trust Cara enough to watch the kid and not crash the ship for a little bit. We can seal them off in here, head down to our bed, and take care of your problem. I really do hate seeing you so uncomfortable, let me help you. Only if you want to, if you’re not ready then it’s fine, forget that I offered.” He tried to speak quietly so only I would hear him.
“I want to, I just don’t really want our first time to be because I needed it because of stupid hormones.” I admitted. I was also trying to keep my voice down. I really did need this right now, but I didn’t want to think back to our first time and it just been me being needy, and him just doing it to help me. I wanted it to still be memorable and special.
“Well, then how about we don’t count it as our first time? Just count as me helping the woman that I love.” He suggested.
I thought for a moment, “Let’s go.” I said nodding. That was good enough for me.
“Cara can you-“ Din began asking but she cut him off.
“Way ahead of you Mando. Go take care of your girl!” She exclaimed rather loudly, standing up and going over to the pilot’s seat.
Din wasted no time giving me his hand to help me up from my chair. We went down to our cot, the kid was up in the cockpit with Cara.
When we were securely alone together, he turned to me.
“Yn, before we do anything, I just want to make sure you are comfortable with this, I don’t want to trigger any bad memories of…” He trailed off but I knew what he was talking about.
Neither of us actually liked to bring it up. We didn’t ignore it to a point where it was unhealthy to keep it bottled up. But since it was such a touchy thing, we didn’t talk about it much. Noth that it needed to be talked about a whole lot. We had already made the decision that Din was the father of the baby, and that’s all that really mattered.
“It’s okay. I do want this.” I reassured him.
He nodded, “Okay. But if anything happens, you tell me and we’ll stop, okay? I want to make sure I take care of you.” He asked with a serious tone.
“I will, I promise.” I said.
“Good, go sit on the bed so I can take off my helmet.” He commanded gently.
I did as I was told. He shut out the lights and began removing his armor, I sat at the edge of the bed waiting for him. Once he was finished he walked over so he stood right in front of me. When I felt his leg brush against mine I shifted slightly, to begin removing my shirt, but he stopped me.
“No. I said I was going to take care of you, let me handle everything.” His sweet, unmodulated voice whispered to me.
There was a new, husky, edge to his voice that I had never heard before. It was hot. In an instant, he was gently getting to work on what we had come down here to do.
I had seen hundreds, maybe even thousands of stars during my travels but none compared to the ones I saw while being with Din. It was pure bliss. He seemed to know how to do everything just right. Sure there had been the slight issue on the tight area we were working with, that added to my eight-month baby belly, made for some trial and error. But once we figured it out, it was smooth sailing as DIn took over control. It felt like there was not a single inch of my skin that was left untouched by him.
When we were done we laid there catching our breaths beside each other. I had to admit, it was way better than I was expecting or ready for. He wasn’t timid like he was going to somehow hurt me or the Bean, nor was he overly rough. It was perfect.
The lights were still off so he could keep his helmet off.
“Better?” He teased. His real voice still gave me chills, even if I had heard many times before.
“Much better, thank you.” I said genuinely.
Silence fell once again as we laid facing each other. He had one arm draped over my midsection hold me close to him with my stomach pressed up against his. I had closed my eyes and was just trying to savor the moment, I’m sure he was too.
“Hey Din?” I whispered not wanting to disrupt it too much.
He hummed quietly in response.
“Just for the record, our first time was pretty damn great.” I said, smirking.
“I thought we weren’t going to count it?” He asked.
“What do you expect me to do? Forget the most perfect, intimate experience I have ever had with the man I love. Not a chance.” I said.
“Perfect huh?” He teased and let out a small laugh.
“It was.” I truly did mean it.
“Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum, Yn.” He whispered. (I love you, Yn.)
“Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum sa pirusti.” I whispered back before leaving forward slowly to kiss him. (I love you too.)
He was the one who pulled back first and sighed, “We should probably get dressed.”
“Yeah.” I agreed.
At this point in my pregnancy, getting dressed is a task that is much easier said than done and he had to help me more than I care to admit. We both got our clothes back on and began to make our way back up. Din had put his helmet back on and flipped on the lights and stopped me before I stepped onto the first rung of the ladder.
“Oh, Yn, I’m so sorry.” He apologized while looking down at me.
“Why?” I asked, confused.
“You have a little something…” he trailed off as his fingers ghosted over a spot of my collarbone.
Suddenly the lightbulb in my mind went off and I realized what he was apologizing for.
“Din, you did not!” I yelled slightly and walked over to the refresher and stood in front of the mirror.
Sure enough, right there poking out of my shirt was a hickey. I groaned.
“Diiiiiiiin.” I whined, “Cara’s going to say  something about that.”
“Oops.” He shrugged.
He really had the audacity to simply shrug and say oops! Then to add on to that he chuckled like he was proud of his work.
“It’s not like she didn’t know what was going on down here.” He joked.
“Din Djarin, I will get you back for this.” I warned.
“Every inch of me is covered. Good luck.” He shot back.
“Is that a challenge?” I asked.
“Perhaps it is. And I’m looking forward to it.” I could hear the smirk through his modulator. I loved the man, but sometimes I wanted to punch him in the arm but I didn’t want a bloody knuckle from hitting solid Beskar.
We went up into the cockpit and were greeted by Cara smirking at us.
“So you better now, Yn?” She teased.
“Yes.” I sighed.
“Oh, I can see you both enjoyed it. Are you like trying to claim her?” She asked clearly referencing the visible hickey, “Look don’t me wrong, you seem like a great girl and all, but you’re just not my type, Im sorry. She’s all your’s Mando.” She said and got up from the pilot’s chair.
Din took her seat and checked over the controls as I sat back down in my seat. I was grateful for the fact that I could sit down without fidgeting. I felt eyes staring at me and turned to see Cara looking in my direction. Or more like directly at the hickey.
“Cara, have you never seen a hickey?” I asked. I knew she had but the way she was staring at it made it seem like she was deep in thought over it.
“Of course I have. I just didn’t peg him as the type, I guess. It’s surprising.” She said with a slight shrug as she leaned back in her chair some.
“Yeah, there’s a lot that surprised me too.” I admitted with a smirk. “But those things are not for small ears to hear.” I joked as the kid came up to me and made grabby hands to be held. I picked him and held him in my arms.
“I don’t think Cara’s ears want to hear them either.” Cara said and scrunched her nose up slightly.
We all laughed at her remark. It was nice to have these few lighthearted moments. But something told me that this was just the calm before the storm.
an: alight, this is very different then what i usually write. I actually wrote this way back when I first come up with the concept for this story and wrote it really as a personal part of the story. But as I contiued to write it I really felt like sharing it. So I went back, fixed a few things and added on to it. I hope you liked it.
Also if you have commented on some of my last few parts you may have noticed that I try to respond to yall as much as I can because I love hearing from yall, so I decided to return the favor.

I just nodded my head after hearing him sigh. Judging by the conversion we had just had and his long sigh I had a feeling that I knew what it was.
“Okay.” I sighed before he even told me.
“I haven’t even told you yet.” Din said.
“You don’t need to, I know.” I admitted. I was trying to remain calm on the outside but on the inside, I was freaking out.
“Okay, so you know we’re getting another son?” Din quipped.
I stood stunned. It took a minute for the words to fully process. This wasn’t what I was expecting. Not in the least.
“Quit lying to me.” I said in disbelief, standing up and walking over to him as quickly as I could.
“Look for yourself.” He held out the paper for me.
I took it into my shaking hands and sure enough, there was a note from the doctor that read, “Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Djarin, you are having a baby boy. He’s healthy and growing well.”
Tears pricked at my eyes as I looked from the paper up to Din. I couldn’t believe it.
“Don’t cry, it’s okay.” He shushed me comfortingly, his voice cracked slightly exposing the fact that he too was tearing up under his helmet.
“I’m just happy.” I cried, throwing my arms around him and holding him close as his arms held me tightly.
“You’re going to be outnumbered.” Din joked then let out a small chuckle.
“Give it a few years, we’ll even it out.” I shot back playfully.
“You know I’m going to hold you to that, right?” He asked.
“That’s fine by me. This is just the beginning for our family.” I said.
I could picture it now. Having a couple more kids with Din. Watching them grow up together with the Kid. Teaching them the ways of the Mandalorians, telling them wild stories of our adventures as bounty hunters, it all just seemed perfect.
“It really does sound perfect.” Din’s voice echoed in my head, snapping me out of thoughts.
“Did I say that all out loud?” I asked slightly embarrassed but relieved that he agreed.
“It does sound perfect, Yn. But we can’t have that if we’re constantly on the run from other bounty hunters trying to get you or the kid.” He admitted sadly.
“We’ll figure it out. If there was one thing we could always do was figure a way out of our current situation. I believe us, Din. And I’m not sure what it is but something tells me that there’s a big change coming for us and I don’t think it’s becoming new parents.” I said, suddenly feeling a shift in the atmosphere around us.
I couldn’t tell if it was a good or bad change coming but something was coming that I was certain of.
“Well, like you said we’ll figure it out.” He promised and rested the top of his helmet onto my forehead.
“I need to start getting the controls warmed up and ready to fly if we’re going to start heading to Trak’s.” He spoke after a moment or two of silence.
“Okay.” I nodded and he pulled away and headed up the ladder to the cockpit.
I went over to where the kid was standing up in his pod reaching up for me to take him into my arms. I scooped him up happily and hugged him close.
“Hey little guy. You staying warm with your new blanket?” I asked and he cooed back at me making me smile even more.
“I don’t know if you heard but you’re getting a brother!... I know it’s exciting! But I promise me and your Papa still loves you. Never forget that.” I said and planted a kiss on top of his head, causing him to go into a fit of giggles.
While I was talking to the kid Din came back down the ladder. He walked up behind me and hugged me from behind. His hands came to rest on the sides of my stomach, and he looked down at the kid from over my right shoulder. I leaned back into him some. He was warm like he always was.
“What’s going on down here? I heard my name.” He asked.
“I was telling him that he’s going to have a brother soon and that no matter what we are still going to love him.” I explained.
“Do you think he understands us? Like actually understand what we’re telling him when we talk to him?” He asked in more of a whisper. Which caused me to smile because I knew if he didn’t think that he could understand us then he wouldn’t have whispered his question.
“I think he understands more than we think he does.” I admitted smiling down at our little green kid who was starting back up at us with huge eyes filled with wonder.
“We need to get the Crest up, there’s an incentive storm heading this way and if she isn’t up within the hour, we’ll be stuck here for a couple of days.” He sighed slightly sadly as he began to let his grip on me slip.
“Okay, want to help me up to the cockpit so I can help you and get us out of here quicker?” I offered.
“Yeah, that would help a lot. Thank you.” He said as we walked the short distance to the ladder.
I handed him the kid and he held him in one arm and with his free arm, he helped to hold me steady as I climbed up. Once my shoulders were out up top I put my hands on the ground to help support myself as I came up a little high until my waist was out and I could turn to sit on the ground and just pull my legs out. I sat and waited for Din to come up with the kid. It took him no time for him to get up here with me.
“Are you okay?” He asked, looking down at where I was still sat.
“Yeah. It’s not easy climbing with the bean still in there.” I sighed and reached a hand up to him so he could help me up off the floor.
He took it and pulled me gently as if I weighed nothing. We walked from the small corridor into the actual cockpit. Din set the kid down so he could go play while we got the ship ready.
“Have you done the preflight checks yet?” I asked walking over to the control panel.
“No, I was trying to let everything warm up, but it’s hard because the temperatures outside keep dropping.” He was slightly frustrated, I could tell with his body language.
“Well this is about as good as they’ll get, so let’s get those started.” I said already flipping switches.
I was making quick work of the preflight checks that I didn’t even realize Din was just standing there until I turned slightly to press a button and saw him leaning against the wall.
“What are you doing? Are you just going to stand there or are you going to help with the preflight? I thought you wanted to hurry and get out of here.” I asked in mock annoyance.
“Nah, I’d rather watch my gorgeous fiance man our ship.” He said smugly.
I rolled my eyes but still smiled as I let out a small laugh, “You know Din if you keep using that it’s going to get old.” I teased.
“Maybe for you, but it’s never going to get old, not until we’re actually married then I won’t have a reason to say fiance anymore.” He shot back.
“Okay loverboy, ship is ready.” I stood up from the pilot’s seat and turned to him.
“Do you want to fly for a bit? I’ll keep an eye on the kid. Me and him can make some lunch in a little bit. Only if you want to though.” He offered and a huge smile spread across my face.
“That sounds great. Grab the kid and either hold him or put him in his seat and sit down so I can get the Crest up in the air.” I said reaching for the controls.
“Alright buddy, come sit with Papa.” I heard him say as he walked over to the kid. I heard the kid make a small whining sound before Din spoke to him again, “No, Mama is going to fly right now.”
I’m not sure what he did next but after he sat down the kid began to laugh. Within no time I had the ship up off the ground and was climbing up into the atmosphere. Once I was completely out of the planet’s atmosphere I was ready for the coordinates to Trak’s place.
“He Din, when you get a second can you come put in the coordinates?” I asked, not turning to look at him.
When I didn’t get a response I asked again and still didn’t hear anything from him. I put the ship into a straight trajectory and flipped to autopilot for a moment to turn to him. The sight before me melted my heart.
There he was laying on his side the ground, his helmet covered head being propped up by one arm as he played with the kid. He didn’t know I had seen him. I just turned back to face forward in the pilot’s chair and reached for Din’s datapad that he left sitting on the dash. I knew he would have the coordinates saved somewhere on there.
And sure enough after just a few minutes of looking, I found what I was looking for. I put the coordinates in and prepared to make the jump.
“Hey, I’m about to make the jump to hyperspace.” I warned.
“Okay, go ahead.” He said.
The next minute we were flying past the stars. The familiar blue glow filled the cockpit. I set the autopilot back on a leaned back in the seat and just relaxed as space flew past our ship.
I closed my eyes for a few minutes and just continued to relax. It was nice and quiet at the moment. Too quiet actually. I slowly sat up and opened my eyes. Then I turned to where Din had been with the kid to find that they were both gone.
I stood from my seat and made my way over to the ladder.
“Din? Where’d you two go?” I called down to him.
“In the kitchen, I’m making lunch, the kid is… helping in a way I guess.” He called back laughing.
“Okay.” I said and went to turn back and sit in the cockpit until they were done. I didn’t want to impose on their bonding time together.
“Do you want to come down here and wait until it’s ready?” He asked I could already hear him making his way over to the ladder.
“No, I’ll stay up here. You spend your time with him. Just come get me when it’s ready.” I called back then made my way back to the cockpit to sit.
I was glad I left my own datapad up here the other day. I grabbed it and began searching for what I was looking for. I had gotten a message about a rumor from an old friend and I was trying to find out if it was true. If it was then I might have a plan for Din, the kid, and me.
If I could find out if the information was reliable then I may have a place for us to go and be safe. But it would open up a whole new part of me that Din still didn’t know. Even after all these years, there was one part of me that I didn’t tell him. Very few people knew about it. And I wasn’t sure that I was ready to tell him.
I felt guilty about it. He had proposed and we were going to be together for the rest of our lives, and yet I still couldn’t bring myself to tell him. I had a few items hidden from him even. On his own ship. It wasn’t because I was ashamed, I was just scared of how he’d react.
I would tell him eventually, I knew I would. I just wasn’t sure when.
Before I had the chance to dwell on it any longer Din was calling me from the base of the ladder.
“Hey Yn, lunch is ready and I already fed the kid, he’s laying down for a nap right now. I was about to eat, do you want to come down and join me?” He asked.
“Yeah, give me just a second.” I said. I turned off my datapad but not before making sure to erase everything that I had pulled up on it.
Once we were both down in the kitchen he made us both a plate of food while I sat down. He put the plates on the table and then went to turn off the lights.
Lunch passed with small talk, mainly about the bean, the kid, and the future. We were both excited and nervous. Excited because we were facing it together. And nervous because we both knew how crazy and hard life could get and neither of us wanted our children to experience any of it.
The rest of the day was fairly uneventful. The kid played some more with Din in the cockpit. I read to both of them before dinner. The three of us made dinner together. The kid’s version of helping really just consisted of being held by either me or Din as we did most of the work.
The whole evening I had a smile plastered onto my face that wouldn’t go away. Not that I wanted it to.
Dinner went well. If the kid ending up with half of his food on his face means that it went well. We decided to be ambitious and let the kid feed himself something other than bone broth, which he has no problem with, needless to say, it wasn’t the best decision. But he was having fun and made us laugh along with him.
“Din, you go ahead and eat. I'm going to go help him get washed up and into bed.” I said already standing up and scooping up the kid.
“Are you sure? I can do it.” Din offered.
“Yeah, I got it. You made lunch today, I can handle bath time.” I said making my way out of the kitchen.
I used the small sink in the refresher to bathe the kid. His little robe was dirty as well, luckily he actually had a few extra that Omera had shown me how to make back on Sorgon. They went the best, but they would do until I could wash the one he was wearing.
He was very cooperative during his bath, he even seemed to have enjoyed it. When I was done washing him up, I wrapped him the softest towel I could find. Once he was dried off, I began to get him dressed for bed. His big bright eyes were becoming hooded as he was getting sleepy.
“Oh buddy, did your bath make you tired?” I asked walking over to his little pod.
He let out a yawn as I lifted him up to give him a soft kiss on his head then I laid him down. I covered him up with his new blanket.
“Good night little guy. Your Papa and I love you.” I said before walking over to the panel on the wall and dining the lights down so he could fall asleep but we’d still be able to see when we got ready for bed.
I lightly tapped on the door and waited for a response before entering to make sure Din had his helmet on. But instead of saying anything, he just let the door open. I walked in to find him already washing up some of the dishes.
“I covered your plate to help it stay warm.” He said.
I made my way over to the table and sat down to eat. Once I was done, I stood and helped him finish the dishes. We were trying to be as quiet as possible to not wake the kid.
We were laying in bed a little later that night, one of us was going to have to get up early so we could take over the controls and drop out of hyperspace once we got closer to Trak’s. The ship was still on autopilot, but Din had set an alarm to alert us if anything was going wrong in the cockpit.
As we landed together I couldn’t help that I couldn’t lay still. I was still extremely giddy over the news from earlier that day.
“Yn, you need to relax, and try to get some sleep.” Din said laughing quietly.
“I can’t I’m too excited. We’re having baby boy, Din.” I said.
“So are you just not going to sleep until he’s born?” He teased.
“Oh shut up.” I said, lightly jabbing him with my elbow.
A silence fell between us for a moment before I continued talking.
“I was thinking about something while giving the kid his bath.” I said with a much more serious tone.
“Uh oh, that’s never good.” He joked lightly before adding, “What were you thinking about?” His tone matched mine.
“You said you always wanted a little sister to be protective over. And so I wanted you to know right now, that I want to have more kids with you in the future. And I promise that I will eventually give you a baby girl that our boys can be protective over, even if that means the kid just eats any frogs that come near her.” I let out a small laugh at my last comment.
I began to get nervous when I didn’t hear Din say anything. Then I felt a kiss being pressed to my shoulder, and then his shaky voice saying, “Thank you, Yn. I can’t thank you enough for everything. I really can’t wait until you’re officially Mrs.Djarin.” He raised himself up some and pressed another kiss just below my ear.
“I can’t wait to be Mrs.Djarin. I love you, Din.” I said back and scooted even closer to him if that was even possible.
“I love you too.”
Shortly after that, I felt myself drifting to sleep, and I was relieved to hear his breathing evening out as well as he began to fall asleep.
A/N PLEASE READ
So I know some of y’all really wanted the baby to be a girl but to be honest from what I’ve read on other stories I feel like that is what most people do and there’s nothing wrong with that I just wanted to do something a little different than what I had read, plus given the circumstances of how the pregnancy happened I get like this was a reasonable and understandable way of making it not a girl. But of course, if you really want it to be a girl you can always pretend that is what it is. I’m sorry...

We continued walking in silence. I still felt numb to the world around me. Nothing would ever be the same for me. Although I knew deep down that I still had the Kid, the Bean, and a whole clan of people that would help support me back on Avis, none of them could ever live up to what Din is, or I guess was, to me. He was my everything at this point. He was the Kid’s papa, he was going to be the Bean’s papa, we were going to have more kids in the future, we were going to get married at the first chance we got, but now… none of that would ever happen.
Sure there was a chance that I may find someone new in the future, but that’s the thing I don’t want anyone new. In fact, I don’t want anything new. If it was up to me, I’d go back to where it was just me, Din, and the Kid cruising through space. Everything was so much easier then, no one was dying then. And most importantly, we still had each other.
The only thing that pulled me out of my thoughts was the sound of footsteps down the corridor to our left. I stopped dead in my tracks and held my lightsaber out a little further, illuminating the mouth of the tunnel with its light.
“What’s going on, what are you doing?” Cara asked.
“There’s something down there.” I warned, I tried to sound strong but my voice was hoarse and my throat was raw from sobbing earlier.
“Then maybe we should get going. If those Imperial Troopers have gotten down here, it is only a matter of time before they find us.” Greef suggested clearly scared of what might be down there.
“No, if they’re Imps then they’d come at us from behind and then just kill the two of you and take me and the Kid. I already lost Din, I’m not losing anyone else today. Understood?” I sneered. I wasn’t actually trying to be rude but I couldn’t go through any more loss toady. If I lost anyone else today that would be it for me, I couldn’t lose anyone else.
Cara drew her blaster and I handed my extra one to Greef. We all stood ready to face whatever was about to come out of the darkness before us. Just as the figure approached the light and I saw who it was, the lightsaber slipped from my grip. The moment it was in free fall it automatically shut off. I was walking, then walking faster and faster, I would’ve run if I could.
It was Din. When I was directly in front of him I reached out to run my hands over his arms, his chest, and finally his helmet.
“I-Is this re- Is this real? Are- Are you really alive?” I stuttered due to a fine mixture of shock and having a raw throat from screaming earlier.
He placed his hands over mine and held them to where they laid against the smooth, cold metal of his helmet.
“Yes, I’m alive, and yes, this is real. I’m here, we’re going to be alright.” He whispered, his voice still sounded a bit week but it was miles better than what it had sounded like when we left him.
“H-how is this po-possible?” I stammered, tears of joy slipping from my eyes. I was amazed I even had enough tears left for.
“The droid.” Din said with a slight scoff.
I turned to IG-11, I was beginning to have a soft spot for the hunk of metal. First, he saved the kid and now Din. Maybe not all droids were bad.
“But what about-“
“I am not a living thing, therefore no code has been broken.” The droid cut me off.
I looked back up at Din, “Is this real?” I whispered again in disbelief. I kept my hands on him because deep down it felt that if I took my hands off of him he’d fade away into the shadows around us and he’d be gone again.
He took my hands down off of his helmet but still held onto them tightly.
“Yes. And I’m not going anywhere. I made promises to the three of you, and I intend to keep them.” He said leaning down to rest his helmet on mine.
“You better.” I said, letting go of his hands and wrapping my arms around him tightly.
He grunted in pain but wrapped his own arms around me just as tightly. As much as I wanted to relish in being in his arms, we both knew we had to keep moving.
Cara and Greef had waited back behind me to allow Din and me to have our moment but now they were both walking up to us. She handed the Kid off to IG-11 and handed me my lightsaber that she had picked up off the ground. Then she wrapped an arm around Din to help support him as we began walking. I was hesitant to pull away from him but he couldn’t walk on his own and I wouldn’t be able to support his weight for very long.
“I got you.” She said.
The group began moving once again. I was walking out front, leading the group, and lighting the way with my lightsaber. For the most part, I knew where I was going but now after walking for a few minutes, it was begging to feel like we weren’t getting anywhere. We came up to a cross in the tunnels and I stopped short.
“Do you know which way to go?” Greef asked me stepping up to be right beside me.
I looked around hoping to catch the since of anything familiar, but with no luck. I had no idea where we were in the vast maze of corridors.
“No, I don’t know where we are.” I admitted with a sigh. I took the time that we were standing still to put a hand on my lower back and rubbed it the best I could through the armor, the longer we walked the more it began to hurt.
“What about you, do any of these tunnels look familiar to you?” He asked turning back to face Din.
“No, I don’t know these tunnels. I’ve only entered from the bazaar.” Din said.
The decision was left to me and I took a right turn.
“Well, if we get the smell of sulfur and we follow it, it’ll lead us up to the plains where the river flows.” Greef said as we walked.
“And the Imps will catch us before we make it to the ship. We need the Mandalorians to escort us to safety.” Din said.
I continued leading us, taking the next left turn we came across. I was trying to use the Force to help guide me to where we needed to go but it was all very faint and hard to interpret. I was just as lost as they were.
“Ugh. This place is a maze!” Cara said in frustration.
“Stop.” Din said suddenly, we all turned and looked over at him, “I can stand.” He assured Cara before removing his arms from around her shoulder.
“The bacta infusion is working.” IG-11 commented.
“I’ll try to find some tracks.” he said, turning on his visor.
He looked around, scanning the area.
“That way.” He said, and with that, he took the lead. We all followed closely behind him. He was using the light on his helmet to light the way, and I had reignited my lightsaber to provide some extra light.
“Turn here.” He instructed.
Everything around me was starting to feel a little more familiar. Just as we rounded another corner we saw it. A pile of discarded Mandalorian helmets. Right away I recognized a few from men and women I had known that lived here. Din reached up and turned off his light and turned off my lightsaber and reattached it to my hip as we walked closer.
It felt like a wall had collapsed in on me. I didn’t, no I couldn’t lose any more people today, and I just found out that I had lost so many without even knowing it. Cara, Greef, and IG-11 all stood back for a moment as Din and I approached the pile. Din kneeled down once we were in front of it. I took my own helmet off and held it in one hand down by my side.
“Din, did you know about this?” I asked in a hushed, broken tone.
“No. It must’ve happened after I left with the kid.” He said, picking up one of the helmets in his hands.
“Who-” I took a deep breath before continuing, “Who could have done this?”
“I don’t know.” Din said.
Silence filled the space between the two of us. Cara walked up carefully and laid a hand on my arm.
“We should go.” She advised gently.
Neither I nor Din had the energy to answer her at this moment. All we could manage to do was make an attempt to process just how many clan members were now gone.
“Did you know about this? Is this the work of your bounty hunters?” Din finally snapped, turning slightly over his shoulder to Greef.
“No.” He was quick to answer, “When you left the system and took the prize, the fighting ended and the fighters just melted away. You know how it is. They’re mercenaries. They’re not zealots.” He defended.
I wasn’t sure if I believed Greef. Yes, it sounded like that is probably what happened, but he had lied to us before. How could we be sure that he wasn’t lying to us again?
Din stood quickly and whirled around to face him, “Did you do this? Did you?” He yelled. Din was right up in Greef’s face as he yelled.
“No!” Greef yelled back.
“It was not his fault.” My head snapped in the other direction at the sound of her familiar voice.
I really never thought that I would see or hear her ever again. Din slowly turned around to see her as well.
“We revealed ourselves. We knew what could happen if we left the covert. The Imperials arrived shortly thereafter. This is what resulted.” She said calmly.
“Did anyone survive?” Din asked.
“I hope so. Some may have escaped off-world. Perhaps at one of the safehouses spread across the galaxy.” With her last sentence, she looked directly at me.
I knew she was talking about Avis. It could be used as a temporary safe house if a covert ever needed to relocate.
“We’re heading to one of the safe havens, Avis, you should come with us.” Din quickly offered.
“I will not abandon this place until I have salvaged what remains.” She said as she picked up another helmet, placed it into the floating cart, and pushed it back into the room in which she had come out of moments before.
Din and I shared a split-second glance at one another before he was grabbing my empty hand and led us to follow her. The rest of our group followed in a few paces behind us.
“Show me the one whose safety deemed such destruction.” The armorer requested after she had dropped a chest plate into the smelter and turned to us.
I knew she was talking about the child and Din and I both looked back to the droid still holding the small creature. IG-11 steps forward some.
“This is the one.” Din said.
“This is the one that you hunted, then saved?” She questioned as she looked at the kid.
“Yes. The one that saved me as well.” Din confirmed.
“From the mudhorn?”
“Yes.”
“It looks helpless.” She concluded looking back up to Din.
“He is injured, but not helpless.” Din corrected her conclusion, “He’s...special. He is able to move objects with his mind.” Din added.
She had turned her back to us once again and was tending to the flames some. While she was turned away, Din turned his head ever so slightly to me to confirm that what he was saying was correct and gave him a small nod. It was a very generic way of explaining it, but it got the point across.
“I know of such things.” She commented, “The songs of eons past tell of battles between Mandalore The Great, and an order of sorcerers called Jedi that fought with such powers.”
“He may have the same abilities, but he is not an enemy like they were.” Din said in defense.
“I am aware of this. His kind were enemies, but this individual, and Yn, are not.” She said turning to look at both of us.
“Do you know what he is?” Din asked.
“It is a foundling.” She stated simply, “By Creed, it is in your care and the care of your riduur.”
“We are not-” I trailed off before I could finish my sentence.
“The two of you have not joined as one yet?” She looked over at me for a moment before she continued with what she had been doing.
“No. We haven’t had the chance to because we never had a witness for it.” Din explained.
“I see. I know Yn knows many Mandalorians off-world, why have you not gone to one of them?” She asked, her back still turned to us.
“We were planning on going to Avis, but something always seemed to pop up that prevented us from ever making it even halfway there. That’s how we ended up here actually.” I explained.
“If you wish to be united as one, I may be your witness. It will have to be quick, there is not much time. Do you both know the vows?” She asked.
“Yes.” Din and I said at the same time.
“Good. Stand to face one another. Remove each other’s left shoulder pauldron and hand them to me.” She instructed.
We both did as she said. I stood stunned for a moment as we both took a beat to just take in one another and the whole situation. Less than an hour ago we thought he was going die, and now we stood here officially getting married. I handed my helmet over to Cara for the time being, so I could free up my hands. Without saying a word we both began reaching to remove the small piece of armor off of one another. I had to reach up slightly since he was taller than me. Once both of our left shoulder pauldron were removed we handed them to the armorer.
“Ni Kelir cast solus be these lo a evaar'la shoulder pauldron par te ashi solus tion'ad has worn bic akay jii, bid gar Kelir ratiin ganar a kis'wa be gar riduur ti gar. Now remove the right one.” She spoke the ceremony in Mando’a but the instructions she spoke in basic.
(“I will cast each of these into a new shoulder pauldron for the opposite one who has worn it until now, so you will always have a piece of your spouse with you.” Or quite literally “I shall cast alone of these into but new shoulder pauldron for the other alone who has worn it until now, so you shall always have but piece of you spouse with you”)
We both did as she said and began to remove one another’s right shoulder pauldron. As we did this she had already begun to cast our new shoulder pieces. We both handed her the right one.
“Ni Kelir melt these t'ad kis'wa daab tome bal created a evaar'la shoulder puldron par solus be gar dayn be bic. Ibic signifies te union acyk te t'ad be gar bal ibac gar cuyir jii solus.” She said, placing the pieces of armor into the same smelter together.
(“I shall melt these two pieces down together and created a new shoulder puldron for each of you out of it. This signifies the union between the two of you and that you are now one.” or quite literally “I shall melt these two pieces down together and created but new shoulder puldron for alone of you out of it.  This signifies the union between the two of you and that you are now alone”)
She removed the first piece of armor, Din’s new left shoulder piece, from the flames and quenched it. After cleaning it off quickly she handed it back to me. Then she turned and did the same with mine and handed it to Din.
“You may now present the pieces of armor, Din you shall go first.” She instructed.
He took a deep breath before he began. “Ni dinuir gar ibic beskar'gam at tengaanar ibac Ni Kelir ratiin cuyir ti gar, o'r ra dayn be battle, gar Kelir ratiin ganar a kis'wa be ni.”
(“I give you this armor to signify that I will always be with you, in or out of battle, you will always have a piece of me. ” or quite literally, “I give you this armor to show that I shall always are with you, in or out of battle, you shall always have but part of I”)
He reached out and secured the new piece onto my left shoulder. His hands were shaking the whole time but he tried not to let it show.
“Yn, now it is your turn.” The armorer said.
“Ni dinuir gar ibic beskar'gam at tengaanar ibac Ni Kelir ratiin cuyir ti gar, o'r ra dayn be battle, gar Kelir ratiin ganar a kis'wa be ni.” I repeated, my voice was still hoarse and the waver in it made the words come out choppy, but I couldn’t care less at the moment.
Then I reached up with equally shaky hands and secured the pauldron to his left shoulder. As I did this, the armor was preparing the second pieces for us. Once again Din went first.
“Din, you may present the second piece now.” The armorer said.
“Ni dinuir gar ibic kis'wa be beskar'gam at tengaanar ibac vi cuyir jii joined tome sa solus.  Gar Kelir ratiin ganar a kis'wa be ni bal a kis'wa be mhi at cabuor gar.” Though I couldn’t see his face, I knew he was smiling and more than likely had tears welling u in his eyes just as I did.
(“I give you this piece of armor to signify that we are now joined together as one. You will always have a part of me and a part of us to protect you.” or literally “I give you this part of armor to show that we are now joined together as one. You will always have a part of me and a part of us to protect you.”)
He carefully put on the piece of armor. Once it was secured he slowly retracted his hands. Then it was my turn.
“Ni dinuir gar ibic kis'wa be beskar'gam at tengaanar ibac vi cuyir jii joined tome sa solus.  Gar Kelir ratiin ganar a kis'wa be ni bal a kis'wa be mhi at cabuor gar.” I repeated the same vows he had just said. Then I did my best to quickly secure it onto his right shoulder, I was ready to officially be Yn Darjin, but my shaking hands made it difficult.
Once it was on we both looked at the Armorer waiting for the next instruction.
“Gar Kelir jii recite te Mando wedding vows, venjii which gar Kelir cuyir tome sa solus.” She said with a nod.
(“Now you shall recite the Mandalorian wedding vows, after which you will be joined together as one.” Or literally, “You shall now recite the Mandalorian wedding vows, after which you will be together as one.”)
Din and I looked back at one another. He reached down with both of his hands to find mine and hold them between the two of us. We both took a deep breath before we spoke together in unison.
“Mhi solus tome, mhi solus dar'tome, mhi me'dinui an, mhi ba'juri verde.”
("We are one when together, we are one when parted, we will share all, we will raise warriors.")
With the last words, his hands slipped out mine to rest against my stomach. He wouldn’t be able to feel it through the armor I wore, but the Bean gave a kick in response.
“Gar cuyir jii solus.” The Armorer concluded the short ceremony.
(“You are now one.”)
“This now means that the foundling is in your care as well, Yn and the child that you carry will take the name Darjin. It also means that helmets may be removed without the braking of the Creed in front of one another and your children.” She explained as she got back to what she had been doing before she paused to conduct our union ceremony.
Din and I both nodded.
“The child is too young to train in the ways of the Mandalorian, it would die. And seeing as it does not seem to age at the same rate as humans do, I can only assume it will be a long after we are all gone before he is at an appropriate age to begin training.” She said.
“What do we do with him then?” Din asked.
“He must be raised with his own kind.” She said simply.
“Where is his own kind?” DIn asked, clearly confused. We didn’t know what species he was, let alone where he came from.
“That is for you to determine.” She answered vaguely.
I couldn’t help but wonder if perhaps she didn’t necessarily mean his own species. She had said earlier that he and I were the same. Could I be considered his own kind?
“Does his own kind mean his species or just others like him?” I asked as she continued to work.
“I do not have the answer to that question, that can only be answered by you. Do you believe you could raise him to begin understanding the abilities you both have?” She asked.
I thought for a moment. If I was to raise the Bean in the ways of the Force there should be no reason I couldn’t do the same for him. I had already begun to show him a couple of things.
“Yes.” I said with a nodded.
“Then, I do believe that he is where he belongs.” She said turning to face us only briefly.
Despite everything that we had gone through I was smiling. I was beyond happy to be married to Din. I knew we didn’t have much time, we would need to go soon, but I wanted to be able to savor this moment for as long as I possibly could.
A/n: okay so a couple of things... ONE: I am so sorry for how long this took me to post, I will try to be better about it for future parts... TWO I just want to address this to clear up anything, I know there are quite a handful of Din x Readers that have a wedding tradition that involves armor, I will admit that I do not know where that concept originated nor if it’s actually even cannon (I don’t think it is though) so what you read here in this fic was my personal take on it, every one that I have read that have used this dose it in there own way, I wanted to do my own take on it vs. copying someone elses so if it is similar to someone elses it’s just coincidence (I hope that is spelt right). Anyways just wanted to clear that up.
