episode 22 of AOT: a little ramble on levi's hard life and his acts of kindness.

i'm actually crying silently right now, while watching the AOT episode where Levi sees Petra's dead body get tossed out of the wagon while they're outrunning titans. I'm finally feeling emotion again oh my god.

The episode where a soldier went back to retrieve his dead friend's body, Ivan, but brought a horde of titan's with him.

The titans were gaining on the scouts, so Levi ordered the bodies to be dumped knowing they needed to lessen the weight load to outrun the titans. Ofc the soldier's hesitated-- dead bodies are so meaningful in this world where life goes just like that. BUT THE FACT THAT Levi said, "Many bodies haven't made it back in the past. These are nothing special," and then watched Petra's hair whip in the wind in slow motion as her body was thrown out-- that just brought tears to my eyes. like i erupted, mini eruption.

Levi made that choice and it was heartbreaking. But he had to make that choice because that was the only way they'd all stay alive. Levi lives in a world of war and constant pain. Oh my god.

AND THEN after they outran the titans, Levi gives the broken soldier (the one who led the titans to the scouts/caused the scouts to have to throw out the bodies), a torn out emblem of the Wings of Freedom (from the uniform), saying, "even though you lost the body, this proves to me they were alive." And Levi said it was the emblem of the Ivan's uniform, the soldier's dead friend

-- BUT IT WAS PETRA'S. IT WAS PETRA'S EMBLEM.

Levi had opened up the wrappings on a body of a dead soldier earlier, and we can only assume it was a member of his just murdered squad. Levi gave up something that he tore off to keep for himself, to remember the bravery and the life of Petra, of his dead team. I'm fucking crying I can't do this. He is just such a good man. What the FUCK??? what the fuck. i didn't even catch this the first time around.

i will cry about Petra if you bring her up. poor girl was so smitten for the tiny captain. poor girl deserved to love him and be loved by him i swear to god. (I DON'T TAKE NO PETRA HATE, YOU HEAR ME)

Oh my god update: Levi’s face when the scouts returned, when Petra’s dad was talking about Petra as if she were alive —

Levi looked absolutely emotionally turbulent, his face just shocked and hurt. He was the one who commanded the bodies be dumped. He was the one who gave away her emblem to a hurting soldier. He has nothing to give the dad.

He decided the bodies had to be dumped for their survival. He decided to help out a broken soldier.

And then he had nothing to give to the dad. The situations and decisions Levi has to make puts him through heartbreak, over, and over, and over again. It’s just. Damn. This guy has been through so much.

Tumblr and I agreed only once (…ler) on who was to be crowned sexyman.

As if this blog couldn't get more cursed than it already is, now you know that not only I ship the forbidden Bloodborne ship but... I was also in the infamous Once-ler fandom :P. I never had an ask blog nor I was going around shipping 'oncest' (lmao, that surely was a time. Great art tho!) but there were so many cool AUs such as Truffula Flu, Camp Entre, Camp Weehawken et simili that I still think are pretty cool.

As for the others characters some are more obscure than others but you can definitely tell I always had a type. Well, maybe two types >:D.
