sam takes pride in how well dean eats (don't get me started on the fact that dean should have some softness or chub), so as much as he might gripe about dean's piggishness or whatever, it makes him feel comforted to see dean eat, especially knowing in hindsight that dean sacrificed a lot for him when they were kids. and something about it turns him on...though he'll never admit it.

and with a similar theme of not admitting things, dean thinks the way sam gets all emotionally upfront with the people they work with is really sweet. obviously this is something they both do, but sam does it more often and it's something dean has a hard time with, so he really respects it, despite teasing sam for being "like a girl." he also LOVES sam's shoulder massages.

hey maggie darling <3 i have some overprotective james for u <3 bc they're so silly and so obsessed with each other <3 and it hasn't turned toxic and unhealthy here just yet <3

“Practice ended a bit early,” he explains softly. “I thought it’d be a nice surprise.” Regulus nods absentmindedly, never tearing his gaze away from James’. “It is.” “He’s failing to mention that he rejected his mates when they asked him to hang out,” Sirius adds with a huff, ignoring the pointed look James sends his way. “Because, for some reason, he’d rather be picking you up from your little posh school than go have fun with his team.” James can’t help but feel slightly flustered by this. He isn’t ashamed of choosing to accompany Sirius instead of going out with his team; they hang out almost always after practice, so he isn’t missing out on anything. And at the end of the day, Sirius is still his best mate, which means James prefers spending time with him over anyone else.  What makes the heat climb up his neck as he squints his eyes at Sirius, doing his best to avoid Regulus’ intense stare, is how that statement sounds. The fact that it seems to mean more than it does. Because really, Sirius is acting like it’s this big deal, when it wasn’t even that hard of a choice to make. He sees his mates on a daily basis, and considering how often they have practice, he also hangs out with them fairly often. It’s not the first time he has refused them, and it won’t be the last. It wasn’t—it isn’t supposed to be some big gesture. He merely prefers to see Regulus. Talk to him, be with him.  It isn’t that deep.  “Really?” Regulus mumbles before James can explain himself, or maybe even curse Sirius out.  When he looks down at the younger boy, he’s finally smiling. It’s a tiny, secretive thing, reserved just for James. And all of a sudden, he’s grateful to Sirius for sharing that stupid, irrelevant detail, if only for putting that sort of expression in Regulus’ face.  “Really,” he replies, his voice coming out a little breathless.

small joys saturday !!!! today is my last day of my job and after i get off my mom and i are going to look at this gorgeous antique vanity yesterday i saw in a thrift store and hopefully she'll get it for me as a early bday present !!!! one detail that i haven’t really outlined so far is that sirius mentions a playlist he listens to in the first chapter and every chapter is named after a song (with the lyrics starting the chapter) so by the end, we have sirius’ playlist :))) just something fun i wanted to play around with!!!
