It can be almost impossible to ensure her 5 a day minimum as she will only 4 (apples, cucumber, broccoli- carrot at a push). What do you make for a picnic in the oppressive heat? Unless you’ve got a cool box and don’t mind lugging it around (the often 3 mile walk from car park to desired picnicking spot, meat and dairy are most definitely not going to do well in a carrier.

At last, I’ve made @melizcooks one tray potatoes and stuffed aubergines.. omg how delicious. Sadly I could not find pul biber anywhere near me.. or Aleppo pepper, but it’s on order. Check out her recipe. It’s a really easy and actually low on labour. The veg is chopped large.. takes minutes. It is delicious and moreish and the only bad part was there’s not enough for tomorrow. Gutted.
