I hope you like it, and that I did her justice. I liked your old post idea about force-familiars and that Méra's was a tooka missing an eye and two legs so I thought that would be a fun little thing to try my hand at and I hope its not too off base from what you imagined XD

Status:

Méra Dimitra is a Jedi hailing from Naboo. At the young age of 4, she survived an accident that should have killed her. She was rescued by the woman who would later become her master, Rina Sinex. The incident left her with cybernetics necessary to live. With the help of her master, she rose to be an accomplished padawan among the likes of Anakin Skywalker. Her only flaw was her lack of knowledge of mind-tricks, something deliberately left out of her training by her master. This changed after Geonosis, where her master was pronounced missing-in-action and presumed dead. She was quickly and unexpectedly promoted to the rank of Jedi Knight and General. As a General, she was extremely inexperienced and nervous. After the devastating massacre on Jabiim, she lost all confidence in her abilities. Via pressure from her friends, she had accidentally discovered the true identity of Darth Sidious, and was forced to work under him under threat of the people she cared about being killed. She was manipulated into being cursed by a Sith artifact that multiplied her presence in the Force and gave her reign over minds. The council eventually sent an operative to look after her, but her future was in a vice-grip… no matter what she did.

Méra was an easy-going, sarcastic woman with a bombastic personality. After the “death” of her master, she became a lot more withdrawn and solemn. After being taken as Sidious’ puppet, she masked her feelings behind a guise of happiness, even around those she loved. However, she had a hard time suppressing powerful emotions, especially after being cursed, and had a tendency to blow up under emotional duress. Underneath the influence of her emotions, Méra was a kind-hearted woman who wanted the best for the people around her. She was willing to sacrifice herself if it meant that those she cared about were safe.

Introducing Daybreak!

When the 415th Exploratory Battalion is stranded in the Unknown Regions, they’ll have to battle strange forces and familiar threats in their journey to survive.

Will they choose to stay in the Unknown Regions, or return to fight the Empire?

Daybreak is the story that my OC Méra originated from. I’ll be running it as an RP campaign on a discord server.

Daybreak is open to players and spectators. The server also has a Legacy campaign, a SWTOR guild + campaign, and much more.

(*Not all players in Daybreak have to play a clone oc. There are bounty hunters and other player presets available. But I recommend making clone characters!)

Truthfully, I have always wanted to make it a comic. But I have too many health issues for that to be… feasible, at least at the current time. An rp campaign is much more manageable.

Who knows… maybe it’ll be a comic anyways? And then all the new custom characters will become canon to its narrative. Really, there are endless possibilities. But I hope you follow me on this journey through the Unknown Regions for this story.
