A roast? Meaning all in good fun? No one ending up with bruised egos or consequences? Why I'd be happy to oblige!
I hate when he arrives at my home, unannounced, to just stay for days. It spooks me to see him lounging around, and I believe he knows it. I was under the impression that he had his own abode and hadn't a need for mine, but I suppose he's unable to replicate the same luxiourious amenities on his own. He's lucky I'm so welcoming even under short notice.
He most certianly needs a pedicure, especially if he's going to be walking around barefoot for everyone to see. I wouldn't think a man with such pride for himself would want to advertise how he doesn't take care of his feet constantly. This is without critiquing how gross it is in general to walk around barefoot. He's professed before that he's not proficient in medicinal magic, so I hope he steps on a stray nail and has to ask for his least favorite thing. Help.
He refuses to accept or ask for assistance when he truly needs it. Running the world is not a one man job. In fact it makes his regime quite vulnerable to not have other quality leaders at his disposal, whom he trusts. He even hesitates to let Bella take over areas of his administration, a grievance often brought up at our tea sessions. He's rather run himself and everything he's worked for, everything WE'VE worked for as a community, into the ground.
I've seen photos of how nice he used to look, very nice actually, so it seems on trend for him to run a good thing into the ground.

I hummed softly looking out the rocking window of the carriage. I heard the clopping of horse shoes clacking against the cobblestones and the wheels rolling on after it. I could just hear the wind whistleing though the little open window on the other side I glanced to it just to check on it, seeing everyone else in the carrige.
I Myself was sat against the left side watching the world go by, beside me was my little brother Thomas. He was sat reading his book often pushing his soft brown hair away from his specticals, Beside him in the other corner was my father Lord Y/l/N he was checking his pocket watch his other hand on his cane seeming unhappy as he often did. Across from my father was his Butler a little older then him I didn't really know his name I only ever had to refer to him as Sir when I was young. Next to him was my brother and I's maid and nanny Miss Lulica a kind woman as far as I remember always a bit rough with the corset ropes whenever I asked for her help she spoke no english but we understood very basic things she said to us. Beside her and across from me was my personal Well... hand maiden I guess would be his title when I was young and my mother passed away my father got in a child a few years older then me so I wasn't bother the staff with things he did my laundry, changed my bed, and all sorts of other assistanty things and just to take care of me really until I could be married off to a husband Isaac he saw me and smiled at me I smiled a little back making sure to arert my eyes as we stopped.
The staff got out first my father in a rush behind him my brother got a hand from Sir I sat a little worried for a moment
“Come along M' Lady” Isaac smiled to me ofering his hand to me I happily took it as he helped me out onto the busy foul smelling streets a man came to speak with my father checking our paperwork I looked around at the busy people seeing our ship. We where going off on a cruise I forget to wear exactly it's wasn't important not to me anyway
“This way Dearest!” My father called
“Ohh my things-” I began
“No need to worry M' lady, the boarders are taking the whole car, I'm sure they'll deliver th'm to your room” Isaac told me
“Just my little case Isaac, I don't like leaving without it” I tell him
“very well M' Lady” he smiled getting it down for me it wasn't small my little pink suitcase with my personal bits and my undergraments I never liked leaving it with anyone he happily carried it for me as we all followed this worker man to a little slanted stairway up to a door of the ship
the man left us there to go look and care for others my father happily rushed up as did the staff and my brother I looked down looking to the gap between the dock and the boat and the long drop to the sea below I was scared of everything. I had never been on such a big boat before, all my fears of what I was doing flooding my mind
“come alon' M'lady, Don't wanna get left behind” Isaac smiled to me taking my hand I smiled to him as we slowly wondered up my father stopping at the door
“Tickets and paperwork sir?” the man asked him
“Ohh course” he answered handing the man out paperwork
“Just the six of ya sir?” he asked
“Yes, the six of us and our carrige down on the dock line” My father argued
“trust me sir your carrige is perfectly safe we don't depart till all baggaed and carriaged are aboard” the man told him
“So, Lord Franklin Y/l/N? Correct?” he asked
“Yes” My father said rather annoyed at this man
“and your staff?” he asked letting my father and Sir though them going off quickly the maid handed him the papers “young lord Thomas Y/l/N, your staff? Miss Lulica?” He asked and my brother nodded he claeared them too and they ran off after my father “Papers please madam?” He asked and Isaac handed him ours “Right, your Staff Mr Isaac Newton. And your must me The Lady Y/n... Uhh I'm sorry My lady your ticket seems to-” he began
“i know what it says, Hush hush please” I ask him
“Ohh?” he smirked looking to us both and he laughed handing us back the papers “Welcome abord” he laughed
“Thank you” I laugh quickly rushing to find the rest of my family they must have headed to here rooms so I headed to mine past the fancy corridors and other rooms we would be seeing more on our time on the ship till we got down to the first class state rooms
“Alright' corridor E... ohh right down Here M'lady” Isaac told me as he had smartly grabbed a map of the whole ship on our way in and was following it best he could so I followed him down the little mahogany lined corridors “State Room 109...” he muttered as he read the doors “103....105...107... Ah here we are M'lady” He smiled as we got to my room he unlocked the door for me and we stepped inside it was as big if not bigger then the room I had at home, with large sofas and even a dinning table with a little bathroom to the left and a small staff bedroom with a little single bed beside it as well as a huge luxiourious double bedroom with a canopy bed and a little window to look out to the sea even if all I could see currently was the dock as we hasn't left yet, all my bags had been put either in my room or in the main part of the living room he put my little suitcase on the small vanity in my room “well, if that will be all m'lady” he smiled
“That will Mr Newton” I laugh as I shut and locked the door putting the key on th little hook beside the door he smiled taking my hands
“we did it” he smiles giving my lips a soft kiss I happily kissed him back till I moved back
“Calm down, it's a long way yet. Were not even half way done yet, got to get past the other side yet” I laugh
“I know, but so far so good hey” he laughs
“Umm your right” I smile hugging him tightly “I'm so happy” I smile widely
“So am I” he laughs giving my head a kiss just as we heard the horn the ship was leaving dock I rushed to the little window to look out and with a little lot and a shuffle of the engins starting shaking the ship a little we slowly began to move away from the stone docks and the high buildings I took a look at the huge waving crowds and the every streching landscape knowing I was to never see it again Isaac smiled wrapping his arms around me tightly looking out to watch too as we slowly watched the world tumble by “Bye bye england” he laughs
“Umm, it was nice here, but not as nice as where were going” I giggle as I watched “Goodbye Miss Lady Y/n Y/l/N” I laugh
“humm, Hello Mrs Y/n Newton” He laughs giving my cheek a kiss “Come on, lets' get un packed then” he laughs moving away so I happily went helping sort my things I know by now my brother will be deep into his books and my father will be deep into a bottle of whiskey I looked out to the window seeing the vast open sea
“Come on” I laugh grabbing his hand
“where are we going?” He asks
“Up!” I laugh as we rushed out my room making sure to take the key and locking the door behind us as we both ran up though the people up onto the deck the ship was huge workers everywhere as all the lookers had gone in now wanting to dress in time for dinner
“Y/n!” He yells coming after me “Slow down” he says as he caught up with me “How can you run so fast in that huge dress” he sighs getting his breath
“Come on!” I giggle running to the side on the ship dangleing my head over the railing
“whoa!” he yells grabbing me “Careful! Don't want you falling off the ship” he laughs
“i won't fall” I giggle watching as we went on passing a every going horrizon of ocean I could almost see a coast line far in the distance “We're free” I smile holding his hand tightly as I watched the world pass by
“You said it yourself Y/n, we have a long way to go yet.” He laughs “But yeah... we are” he smiled “Just a couple more days” he laughs
“newt?” I ask resting my head on his shoulder
“Yes Y/n?” he asks wrapping an arm around me tightly
“You ready to start our honeymoon?” I ask him
“never been more ready for anyting M'lady” he laughs
“ohh shut up” I laugh hitting his chest “You think people will miss us?” I ask
“Hardly darling, they'll miss you, not me” he sighed
“They'll miss both of us” I laugh
“Come on, don't want you getting cold” He smiled
“Can we head to bed?” I ask him
“what for? You haven't even had dinner yet?” he laughs
“It is our honeymoon newt” I laugh nuzzling my head closer
“Ohhh.... Come on then darling” he smirks taking me back down to my little room.
