Summary: When Luz accidentally explodes abomination goo onto Amity, she figures out how to get her back.

It was a sunny day in the boiling aisles. Luz and Amity hung outside The Owl House. Luz had agreed to help Amity with a project on abominations.
Amity walked over to Luz with a small remote. "Okay, see this button? I'll tell you when to press it, alright?" She said. Luz nodded, "Got it!" She responded.
Amity smiled and walked back to the project. She crouched down in front of a metal plate, summoning abomination slime and placing it down.
"Let me put the cover on, and then you can press the button!" She called over her shoulder. Luz, who hadn't been paying attention, only heard the last part. "Press the button? Okay!" She said cheerfully.
Amity's eyes widened as she whirled around, "Wait- Luz, not yet!" She tried to say, but it was too late. Excitedly, Luz pressed the button.
Amity whirled back around as she saw the slime grow bigger, and before she could react, it exploded, covering her from head to toe in the muck.
She stood in shock for a second before snapping her head back at Luz, who chuckled nervously, "Heh.. whoops?" She said.
Luz hurried over to Amity, who gave her an angry look, "I said I had to do something else!" She spat. Luz rubbed her arm, and Amity then felt guilty.
"Im sorry, I wasn't really paying attention." Luz looked down. Amity sighed, "It's okay, im sorry for getting mad, but you need to pay more attention next time."
Luz soon smiled, relieved her girlfriend wasn't mad. "Let's go and try to clean you up." Luz grabbed her hand and dragged her inside the Owl House, leaving her in the living room while she ran to fetch something.
Amity waited until Luz hurried back, a rag in her hand. Amity glanced at the rag, then back at Luz, "That's not going to work."
Luz blinked, "Sure, it will! Just let me try, at least." She walked over to Amity, grabbing her arm and trying to wipe the goo off.
Like Amity said, it didn't work. The rag actually got stuck to her, and Luz nearly fell, trying to pry it off.
As Luz struggled, Amity was trying to think of a way to get her back. By the time Luz got it off, Amity had gotten an idea.
Luz sighed, "You know how to get it off, right?" She asked. Amity nodded, "Yeah, but I think I deserve to get you back." A grin appeared on her face.
Luz looked up at her, about to question her before squeaking as Amity poked her side. "Yohou dont have to do that!" She backed up nervously.
Amitys grin got bigger, "Do what, exactly?" She raised an eyebrow. "Tickle me!" Luz smiled nervously.
Amitys eyes brightened, "Tickle you? Okay!" Without warning, she gently tackled Luz to the ground, rubbing up on the girl as she squeezed her sides.
"Ahack- AhahAmity!" Luz squirmed around, "Ihi sahaid Dohont!" She whined. Amity shook her head, "Actually, you said, 'tickle me', and with all this goo, I might as well be an abomination, so I gotta do what you asked for!" Amity snuggled closer to Luz, smearing the goo onto her.
"YohoOur gehetting mehe DihIHIRTY!" Luz cut off with a squeal as Amity spidered her fingers around her neck.
Amity chuckled, "Good! We can be abominations together!" She joked, planting tiny kisses on Luz's neck every now and then.
Luz just kept squirming, letting out snorts as she kept laughing. She kept trying to scrunch up, but it was no use.
Amity just hummed, taking in a breath and blowing a raspberry onto Luz's neck. Luz let out another squeal before bursting into more giggles, "BAHAH- AHAMI NOHO!" She tried to kick at Amity, failing miserably.
Amity rolled her eyes, "Fine, we'll try here instead!" She moved her hands down and dug her fingers into Luz's ribs.
Luz let out a shriek at that. She pushed at Amity's hands, "AhaHamity! Quhihit!" She whined. Amity just smiled, "Okay!" She let go happily.
Luz sat up, still giggling before looking at Amity, confused. "Really? That easy?" She tilted her head.
Amity just shrugged, "Im an abomination, I do what you say. All you had to do was tell me to stop!" She chuckled a bit.
Luz just blinked at her before looking down at her own clothes, "I guess we both might as well be abominations, huh?" She joked.
Amity smiled and shook her head, "I guess it's a good thing. it's easy to get off." She muttered, making a spell circle.
The goo easily slid off, melting into nothing. "Huh, really was easy!" Luz looked at her now clean clothes, then back up at Amity with a smile.
Amity nodded, "Yeah, I just wanted to have some fun." She winked at Luz, who rolled her eyes.
"Want to try the project again?" Luz asked. Amity stood up and nodded, "Yeah, let's go!" She grabbed Luz's hand and dragged her outside.
This time, Luz made sure she was paying attention.

I've been procrastinating, so I'm muscling through the last few I have. HopefullyI can get them all out on time! I wrote this on the bus, so sorry for any mistakes!
Lee: Luz
Ler: Amity
Summary: Amity and Luz are being wholesome and gay when neck-kisses take a ticklish turn.
Warnings: slight Owl House spoilers! This is a tickle fic, so if you don't like that, scroll away!
Amity and Luz were snuggled up on the couch, an Azura movie playing in the background. They were originally going to watch it for the third time, but got distracted by eachother.
Amity was playing with Luz's hair, giving her the occasional kiss. Luz was laying on her shoulder, playing with her other hand. They had the house for the afternoon; everyone else was at the store, no doubt wreaking havoc.
Luz was completely distracted, and Amity had an idea. She leaned in to kiss Luz, ducking down to her neck at the last second. When her lips touched her girlfriend's neck, Luz sqeaked and dropped Amity's hand. "Ahamity!"
She just shrugged. "What? Just giving my adorable girlfriend some kisses." Luz was suspicious, but she didn't want to tell Amity if she didn't notice. "...okay." The blush on her face gave her away.
Amity waited a few minutes before she planted another kiss. Luz squeaked again, muttering a giggly "tonto" under her breath. Amity was now in a massive ler mood. "Please Luz!" She sighed, nodding her head. "Fine. You owe me, amor."
Amity hugged her close, resting her head in the crook of Luz's neck. She wiggled a bit, finding herself firmly trapped against Amity's side. Said witch counted down, just to be a jerk.
"Threeeeee...
Twoooo...
One!
Amity planted kiss after kiss on her neck, sending Luz into immediate stitches. She giggled, pushing at her girlfriend's head. "Ahahahamihity! Ihihihit tihickles!" Amity laughed. "Of course it does! That's the point, silly!" She brought one of her hands up to flutter around Luz's neck. She sounded like a human squeak toy. "NohoHOhoho! MeheanIEEE!"
Luz kicked out her feet, thrashed her head, tried everything to get out of Amity's ticklish clutches. All the movement did was make it tickle even more. "IIHIHIT'S sohoho bahAHAD!"
While it's true that Luz pushed and fought, she really did enjoy this. The feeling, the attention, how happy it made Amity. The same went for her. Amity lived how close she could get with people, and loved seeing them laugh and smile. It was the perfect activity.
Amity stopped to give her a breather, pulling her head back and looking at Luz. She had a rosy blush on her face, and a bright, happy smile. "You look adorable." Luz giggled and pushed her. She lied on Amity for a little while, regaining her breath.
When she was breathy normally, Amity tapped on her head. "Okay, you ready for my grand finale?" Luz thought for a moment before answering, when her options. On one hand, she wouldn't get wrecked. On the other hand, she kind of wanted to be. "Suhure. I've already agreed, so might as well finish it."
Amity got back into position, this time using both of her hands to hold Luz in place. "Ready?" She nodded, already feeling the anticipation flare up in her chest, sending butterflies fluttering about. "Aaaaand... now!"
*PBHHHHHHT*
Amity had blown a huge raspberry on her girlfriend's neck, sending her into hysterics. She tried her hardest to escape, but was firmly cemented in place. Amity blew raspberry after raspberry, drawing more and more crazy loud laughter from Luz.
"AHAHAHAMIHITY! IHIHIHI CAHAHAN'T! PLEHEHEASE!" Amity stopped when she couldn't hear any more laughter, it having gone silent. She leg go of Luz, who came right back to snuggle into her and laugh off any lingering tickles.
The movie, completely forgotten about, was rolling the end credits. "Aw man, we missed it." Amity patted her head. "It's okay. There's another airing on channel 28, I'll get it turned on." Luz hugged her. "Thank you! This time, focusing on the movie! No distractions!"
They grabbed a blanket, snuggling together underneath it. Movie night was always fun!

Description:
Effect: causes a tingling, spark-like sensation of tickling, causing the person in range to laugh uncontrollably for the duration of the effect
Appearance: three rings of concentric circles, light glyph on the right of the outer ring as well as the bottom of the inner ring, plant along the bottom of the middle ring with fire on the top, two fire glyphs on either side of the outer ring light glyph
Possible uses:
Incapacitate the enemy with laughter!
Fighting without damage or causing pain!
Distraction!
Fun prank!

Warnings!!!:
Do not accidentally stand too close when activated!
Be careful how big the glyph is drawn (size and intensity seem to influence how long the effects last)

First-Hand Account #1:
I decided to reserve Wednesday afternoon in my schedule to test out new glyph combinations and see what other types of useful combinations we could come up with to help in the fight against Belos. With the Day of Unity coming up, we could use any extra tricks up our sleeves we could get.
I stumbled upon an interesting combination today by accident, when I tried to activate this glyph (see attached sketch on the next page) it had an instantaneous effect. I couldn’t believe it… it, well, it tickled!!!! SO much - OMG! Lucky for me, it was only a minute or two before it wore off. It feel like a hundred fingers and tingly shocks all over all my ticklish spots! I just crumpled to the ground. (I’m glad nobody else was around to see that!) I’ll have to test it out further (ALONE! Or maybe on someone else?) and see what its capabilities are.
First-Hand Account #2:
It’s been two days since I accidentally hit myself with the ‘tickle glyph’. I have carefully drawn up another and decided to enlist Eda to help me test it today.
…
It went hilariously spectacular having Eda try the glyph! She crumpled onto the couch cackling and even tried pulling off her own feet — that didn’t seem to help her though. This one was drawn on a bigger piece of paper and I think it went on a little longer than when I first stumbled on the glyph, but it was a little hard for me to tell how long it was exactly. Eda said she’s going to feed me to the Wumplerampus but I think she’s just bluffing. It was good to see her laugh. I do think, in retrospect now, that perhaps it was not my best idea to teach her this glyph combination…
I’ve decided to create a small stockpile for myself in order to prepare for the worst. And, also, maybe to test them out a bit more with Amity and with the rest of our friends.

Follow up to my headcannon that amity loves dad jokes and Luz uses them to cheer her up when she’s sad.

Luz: *slides into frame and moves close to her girlfriend*

Just stumbled across this, and absolutely loving it! Would you be interested in writing Amity gently tickling Luz before bed, something cute and sappy, gentle and sensual rather than cackling and roughhousing?

Curse her amazing girlfriend. Curse her for knowing her so darn well. This was unfair and she knew it!
“Just relax batata.” Amity murmured, acting as the big spoon in Luz’s bed, fingers gently tracing up and down Luz’s belly.
Luz giggled softly, blushing in the dark as she felt herself relaxing under the touch. She’d never asked for this, but she’d definitely needed it. Being back in the human was… conflicting, and Luz was dealing with a lot, mostly guilt these days. It was hard to sleep with so many thoughts racing through her mind.
What could she have done differently? Why did she teach Philip the light glyph? Should she have let the stone sleeper eat him? Ugh no, that was too dark, but still…
“I can hear you thinking from her, do I need to tickle you worse?” Amity teased, wiggling a finger into Luz’s belly button, making the dark haired teen squeak and curled up.
“N-nohoho! Amity!” she giggled, relaxing as the gentle relaxing tickles resumed.
It really was hard to think when she was being tickled, even gentle tickles like this made her brain all mushy. Especially especially when they were from Amity. Sure her mom knew all her weak points to turn her into a squealing ball of jelly, Willow and Gus were a terrifying duo, Vee was a literal tickle monster, and Hunter was shockingly formidable in a tickle fight, but Amity? Amity knew just what buttons to push to make Luz absolutely melt, and with how gently and teasy she was, Luz didn’t stand a chance.
This routine had come into play recently, Luz’s nightmares had been getting worse, so Amity would cuddle her to sleep. And when that stopped working, she’d added the tickling. Apparently it’s something Amity’s dad had done when she was little.
“I’m here, I’ve got you.” Amity murmured, pressing a warm kiss to the back of Luz’s neck, which sent a pleasant tingle down Luz’s spine.
It was relaxing, unfairly so, and she felt so warm… safe even…
Amity smiled as Luz’s eyes finally closed, and her breathing evened out. She cuddled her girlfriend close, nuzzling her hair. She’d tickle her to sleep every night if she had to, or even if she didn’t. Her girlfriend needed the sleep, maybe it would help her feel a bit better… or at least better enough to talk about what was really bothering her.
One can only hope though. “Good night batata. I love you.”

YEAHH WOO
To be honest in their relationship there's no set ler or lee, they're both huge switches and wreck eachother the same amount
Though at first, Luz introduced her to tickling because Amity read about it in azura and was curious
Amity has a bubbly laugh with occasional hiccups, Luz has a hearty laugh that's loud and snorty
They both get cheer up tickles, usually now its Amity dishing them out
Luz always gets revenge no matter what, plus she loves hearing her girlfriend's laugh SOSO <33
When they were in school, Luz would poke Amity in the halls and then after school Amity would wreck her to pieces
They both like getting tickles from eachother!! Its a bonding method for both of them
Once they had a sleep over and Luz got so tangled in blankets she couldn't get out and Amity tickled her till she squirmed out LOL

Amity stood in front of Warden Wrath, his son, Braxus, hugging her legs. Luz was kind of standing behind Amity, staring at Wrath with narrowed eyes. "We'll take good care of him." Amity smiled and bent down a little, patting Braxus's head.
Wrath nodded, "I'll be back tonight. Be safe, my boy." He glanced down at his son. "Okay, Daddy!" Braxus talked in his natural deep voice. Neither Amity nor Luz could understand why a toddler had a voice that deep, but they tried not to question it.
As Wrath walked out of the house, Luz stuck her tongue out at him as his back was turned while Amity smiled down at Braxus, "Well, whaddya wanna do, buddy?" She raised an eyebrow.
Luz looked down at him too, "We've got all day, after all." Braxus thought before looking up at Amity again. "Can we read a story?" Amity smiled brightly and nodded. "Okay! Luz, can you please go get a book?" She turned to Luz who nodded and walked away to go find a book to read.
Amity turned back to Braxus. "While we wait, want a piggyback?" She raised an eyebrow. "Yes, please, Miss Amity!" He reached up. Amity nodded and crouched down onto his level. She was expecting to have to help him up but was surprised as he managed to climb onto her himself.
She wondered how the child could see sometimes, since she's never seen his eyes before, but she brushed it off and stood. She smiled as she walked around with him on her back. Every now and then, she would playfully act like she was falling before standing up again. It seemed to make it more fun for the boy.
He would let out the occasional "Wee!" Every now and then. She then started to act like she was falling again before standing, wobbling a bit. Braxus suddenly grabbed onto her ears to hold on, causing Amity to squeak and freeze.
Luz walked back in with a book and glanced at the two. Braxus turned his head to her, "Why did Miss Amity stop moving?" Luz raised an eyebrow. Amity seemed to be giggling a bit. Luz then noticed Braxus holding on to Amitys ears. She smirked, "You're holding her ears." She explained.
Braxus turned his head to where his hands were, "Does it hurt her?" Amity glanced at Luz, still giggling quietly as she made a pleading look at Luz. Luz just smirked mischievously, "No, it doesn't hurt. She actually loves it a lot and wants you to keep holding her ears." Amitys eyes widened.
Braxus nodded, "Okay!" He squeezed Amitys ears, causing the girl to break into a tiny giggle fit. Braxus tilted her head, "Why is she laughing?" Luz just chuckled, "she's ticklish." Braxus looked back at Amitys ears, "Oh, should I stop then?" Amity was still giggling, crouching down to sit on her knees so she didn't fall with Braxus still on her.
Luz shook her head, "Nah, she loves to be tickled. You should rub her ears while I do this." She smirked and walked up to Amity, crouching down and scribbling up and down Amitys sides. Braxus nodded and started to rub her ears.
Amity suddenly squealed at the feeling of Luzs tickles and her ears being rubbed, breaking into a large giggle fit as she squirmed a bit, scooting away. Braxus being on her back wasn't helping. It just gave him easier access to her ears.
Luz giggled as Amity scooted away, quickly getting closer to her and holding her down while also scribbling her fingers over Amitys belly. Braxus was still rubbing Amitys ears in silence. He seemed to be intrigued by this.
Amity kept giggling wildly and squirming but still trying not to squirm too much, so she didn't accidentally knock Braxus off of her. Luz just giggled as well, "Good job, Braxus! Miss Amity seems to reeeally be loving this." She gave Amity a smirk, getting a pouty look from Amity as she kept giggling, her face going a bit red.
"Does Miss Amity actually like tickles?" Braxus looked at Luz. "Yep! Hey, do you mind if I take care of her ears?" Braxus nodded and jumped off of Amity. "Hey, do me a favor and tickle her sides for me." Luz smiled at him before scribbling the shell of Amitys ears, elicting louder giggles from the girl.
Braxus nodded and started to poke and scratch Amitys sides, causing the girl to squirm more. Luz smirked and started to kiss Amitys ears, causing Amity to snort a bit, "Theres the snorts. You're doin good, buddy!" Luz praised Braxus with a smile before taking in a breath and blowing a raspberry onto Amitys ear, causing the girl to squeal before breaking into loud giggly snorts.
"Eek! LUHUHuz!! NOhho!" Amity squirmed more. Braxus started to poke Amitys ribs, getting more snorts to pour out of the girl. They continued their tickle attack a little while longer before Luz finally stopped, placing a hand on Braxus's head, signaling for him to stop.
Amity hugged herself, rubbing her sides as she kept giggling, her red face slowly fading. "You're the worst." She smiled softly at Luz. Braxus looked at Amity. "Did you like that, Miss Amity?" Amity bit her lip. She couldn't bring herself to say no, so she patted his head with a smile, "Yeah, I did, actually."
Luz smirked at Amity, who simply rolled her eyes at her with a smile. Braxus looked up at them, "Can we read the story now?" Luz and Amity glanced at each other before smiling, "Yeah buddy, I got the book right here." Luz lifted the book. Amity gently took it out Luzs hands and sat back against the couch, "Thanks, Luz."
Braxus walked over and sat beside her, making Amity smile. Amity then seemed surprised as Luz sat beside her, too, resting her head on Amitys shoulder. Amity smirked, "Okay, children, quiet now." She gave Luz a playful glance, causing Luz to huff and poke Amitys side. Amity giggled before smiling softly and opening the book, finally starting to read.

Hollow Mind broke my heart. So, to fix it, fluffiness. This takes place a little after the Hollow Mind episode.

Summary: Luz can't stop thinking that everything happening is because of her. Amity has a special way to cheer her up.
Warnings: Owl house spoilers. Noting major, but still there. It's a tickle fic, so if you don't like that, scroll away!

Luz couldn't stop thinking. About Belos, about Hunter, about the Day of Unity, about home. How everything wrong with each of them was her fault. Belos knew about them. Hunter had nowhere to go and dissappeared. She didn't know how to help with the Day of Unity. Home was a mess.
She was stuck in her own head, overthinking about it all. Would it be better of she never came? Just gone to summer camp? Been a normal kid? She stayed like that, curled up in her room, wondering and thinking.
...
Amity walked up to Hooty, who let her inside after asking her what her favorite type of bug was. She was visiting Luz, when Eda stopped her. "Hey kid, Luz is going through some stuff. We've tried cheering her up, but she just feels distant."
Amity went upstairs, stopping at Luz's door. She knocked, not getting any response. When she opened the door, the sight before her broke her heart. Luz was curled up in a blanket, hood pulled up, staring off in space. She had bags under her eyes, and they looked lost.
"Luz, are you alright?" She looked up, flashed a quick smile, and drifted off again. Amity went over and squeezed her into a hug, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Hey, I'm here. What's bothering you?" She seemed to come back to reality a bit. "It's all my fault. Everything wrong is my fault."
Everything made sense now. Luz was upset about all the chaos happening, and blamed herself. "Oh, no Luz. It's not your fault. You don't need to beat yourself up over it all." She nodded, but didn't seem to belive it.
Amity needed to cheer her up, but how? She thought of all the ways Luz had cheered her up before. She bought me food, we watched a movie together she... oh. Got it.
"Hey Luz, can I try and to cheer you up?" She nodded, her cat ears moving along with it. Amity lunged at her, straddling her hips. "I'm gonna tickle the sadness out of you!"
Luz's eyes went wide. "W-wait, Amity! Mi amor! Cahan we talk about this?" Without even acknowledging the question, Amity scribbled on Luz's belly. "Wahahahahit! Dohohohohon't!"
Now Luz was smiling, but not all that much. Time for teases. "Don't what? I'm not doing anything." A blush creeped across her cheeks. "Tihihihiggle mehehehehehe!" "Tickle you? Okay!"
Amity started scratching at her belly button, and Luz started to really laugh. "NAHAHAHAHAHOHO! CAHARIHIHIÑOHOHO!" She dipped her finger in a couple times, rewarded with little squeaks or hiccups.
Amity gave her a breather when her laughs had a little whease at the end. "Youhuhu're mehehan." Even though she was adorable, this little comment couldn't go unpunished. "Mean? That's not very nice, Luz. I need an apology."
Luz snorted at that, putting on a smirk. "An apology? You just tiggled me, and you want me to apologize? No way." Amity shook her head a little. "Really? I'm going to wipe that smirk off of your cute little face!"
She dug into Luz's armpits, and she shrieked. "EIHEHEHE! AHAHAMIHIHITYHIHIHI! NAHAT THEHEHEHEHERE!" Amity only stayed there for a quick minute, moving down to knead her ribs.
Luz's laughter kept changing pitches. "CohohOme ohohON! HahAHAcehe cohosquIHIhillahahas!" Good thing Amity found that Spanish book in one of Eda's piles of human books. "I know it tickles, silly! That's why I'm doing it!"
Amity took a good, long look at Luz's face. She had a blush across her cheeks and the tops of her ears. She had a true, happy smile on her face. She doubted that Luz even remembered that she was upset.
"Okay, Luz. I think you've had enough." A relieved yet disappointed look came onto Luz's face. "Just one more thing." Amity pulled up her sweater and nibbled around her belly button. Luz erupted into squeaky laughter. "EEHEHEHE! NOHO LAHAHAS MOHORDIHIHISCOHOS! PLEHEHEHAHASEHE!"
Amity stopped and started to rub Luz's belly, getting rid of the ghost tickles. She layer next to the still-giggling girl, pulling her into a hug. After she calmed down, Luz started to talk.
"Thank you, Amity. I needed this." Amity pulled her into a quick kiss. "I know. Feeling better?" Luz nodded, and looked up at Amity. She had a true smile on her face, and her eyes were sparkling with a mix of love and happiness.
Life could wait. Being together and happy outshines it all.

((Some Headcanons for Tickletober))
Harley Quinn & Poison Ivy - Harley loves pretty much every aspect of tickling, has lots of fun either as Lee or Ler. Ivy takes a little while to open up to being comfortable being on the receiving end, and has some fun with it when Harley dishes some out. She is also happy to indulge Harley in whatever silly fantasies and bondage she can think up.
Edward Teach & Stede Bonnet - It takes a few times of Ed tickling the crap out of Stede for him to try fighting back and finding out Ed is ticklish as well. Stede finds out that he rather enjoys making Ed blush and laugh and squirm. They usually save teasing each other in this way for when they have some more privacy. Wouldn’t want to drastically embarrass either captain of the ship, right?
Luz & Amity - Amity tended to get really embarrassed and blushy when tickled and usually was only the victim of her siblings. Luz is super gentle and not pushy when she finds out Amity is ticklish and lets amity find out she is ticklish as well and opens her up to the form of physical affection. They have cute little tickle fights and poke at each other’s sides to get their attention. Amity’s ears are really ticklish. Amity turns to jelly when tickled whereas Luz flails and squirms like the wind.
Korra & Asami - Korra and Asami figure out that the other is ticklish when they are on vacation in the spirit world and are figuring out how to get closer and share physical affection and feelings and such. Korra sometimes accidentally bends when tickled really bad. Nothing crazy but like a small rumble in the earth nearby or water flowing a bit wobbly. They both think each other’s smile and laugh is super cute, and a lot of the time if one of them is tickling the other they end up making out / cuddling after.
Callum & Rayla - Rayla finds out Callum is ticklish thanks to Ezran and Zym, who end up knocking him down one evening and nudging and teasing him. Callum is mortified when he realizes Rayla sees what is happening and she gets a mischievous grin about it. From then on she finds joy in poking prodding or tickling him on a whim. Eventually he figures out he could actually fight back and figures out that she is ticklish as well, but it takes a lot to get the jump on her. Something something feather arms something..

Heyyy back with another fanfic. Sorry it’s been a minute since I’ve written a full length one. I’m Going through weird teen stuff! I’ll try to keep somewhat active since school starts back in a week.
Summary: Luz has a bad day at school in the Human Realm. Amity decides she’s in dire need of cheering up.
Lee:Luz
(Kayla writes something other than Lee Amity?? REAL??) No but I’m sorry I kept writing that over and over again (I will do it again probably because I’m hyperfixated on her. I WILL TRY NOT TO AS MUCH THOUGH!)

Today Luz Noceda couldn’t catch a break.
School sucked. She was getting really tired of picking spitballs out of her hair, hearing snickers behind her back, and to top it off, drawing King on the corner of the math worksheets she received was becoming something her hands just did now. Like second nature. Having to see his face every single time a paper was passed out was already bad enough for her psych, and yet there was another worse issue with it that was rearing it’s ugly head.
Her teacher didn’t like the drawings very much.
Most of the time, there was only a few little notes next to the pictures When her work was passed back to her after it was graded.
“Don’t draw monsters next to your geometry.” Or something like that.
Luz always just shrugged and made a mental note to stop, but just found herself unable to.
Today though, it had seemed like her teacher had it with her King portraits, and had held Luz back after class to lecture her.
Luz didn’t get it. The work was done AND (mostly) correct. So what if there was a silly drawing in the corner?
But, all of Luz’s rightful points were left unsaid as the teacher ranted to her about unprofessionalism.
About how this wasn’t art class.
And Luz just had to nod tiredly.
And do nothing.
And now, she was low.
So, when she entered the Noceda household, one witchling in particular caught on almost immediately to her blueness.

Amity Blight knew her girlfriend inside and out, maybe even better than Luz knew herself. And although Luz had never been particularly happy during their stint in the human realm, she picked up on the extra sadness that weighed her human down today.
How those eyes just looked so.. downcast.
Well, that just couldn’t do!
A short talk later about Luz’s day, and a little rant from her about the unfairness of her teacher that also followed led Amity to discern just what her batata needed.
A good laugh, of course!
It only made sense after all.
What did Luz do every single time Amity found herself in a little sad rut?
She Made her laugh!
It was about time that favor was repaid.
She needed a plan, though..

“I’m off to bed!” Luz called from the kitchen, making her way to her own room. She halted as Amity waltzed behind her, hugging her from behind with a playful little canter in her voice.
“Oh no you don’t!~”
Noticing her tone, Luz sighed and turned to meet the other girls face.
“I’d love to play cards with you again, Ami, but I’m not really up for it tonight.”
Amity chuckled, reaching up to put a stray curly hair of her girlfriends mane behind her ear.
“We’re not going to play cards, silly. But I am_ gonna get that smile on you again.”

“You could’ve just asked.” Luz said, putting on the best smile she could for her.
It wasn’t her normal one.
“Nuh uhhh! That’s a sad smile. Where’s the Luz smile?” Amity giggled, placing a finger under Luz’s chin.
“I dunno if I can do that one tonight, sweet potato..” Luz replied dejectedly, looking to the side as her hand reached up to touch the one at her chin.
“Not without help you can’t!” Amity grabbed her hand gently, pulling her along to the living room couch.
“What’re you getting at?” The human raised an eyebrow.

Sitting down with her, Luz took in her surroundings.
Around them, Camilla was getting ready for bed, the sound of her taking a shower just being heard down the hall.
Willow and Hunter were having an epic Uno battle while sprawled out on the carpet. (Willow was winning.)
In another corner, sitting on the floor, Vee ranted to Gus on and on about things she learned about in the human realm as some space documentary played on the tv in the background.
It was.. really calming, actually?
Everyone was seemingly okay for the moment.
Her observations were cut short, however, as Amity tackled her, letting out a little playful growl.
“What I’m getting at..” Amity started, wiggling her fingers over Luz’s ribs teasingly,
“Is that I know EXACTLY how to cheer you up!”
“Amityyyy-EHEHEHE!” Luz’s whine was cut off as her girlfriends fingers dug into her ribs and sides, reducing her to giggles.

“There’s that smile!” Amity exclaimed happily, reaching up to tickle the humans’s armpits next, the girl’s laughter going up like 3 octaves as she did so.
Everyone in the room glanced up for a moment at the predicament.
Willow in particular grinned smugly, and she yelled out “Get her knees, Ams!”
Amity nodded, reaching down one hand to squeeze at Luz’s knee, trying her best to also keep her pinned.
“SCREHEHEW YOU WIHIHILOHOW!- AHAHAHAHA!” Luz fell into cackles as she was mercilessly attacked.
A few minutes later, and the tickles had stopped, Amity instead pulling Luz in and snuggling all the ghost sensations away, playing with her hair as they listened to some British man in the documentary talk about black holes.

Surprisingly, this had felt.. nice.
Her laughter was such an odd sound to her now, besides the occasional chuckle here or there.
Everything had been so crazy lately.
And yet, now here she was, laughing and carrying on, just like the rest of her friends.
It was far from perfect, and this bout of happiness wasn’t going to last forever or make everything suddenly okay
But, atleast now she was relaxed for the night.
And she was smiling.
Her real one, this time.
