Noooo, the fact that ep. 6 started with "Lue's" heartbreakingly tender fantasy of Ken seeing his scars and loving him regardless, touching them, kiss them, embracing all of him...
...but now that Ken actually got to see his scares (in unfavourable circumstances, admittedly)...
...he only feels like he has to hide them, his body, himself from view. I'm devastated. 😭😭😭

What the actual hell ???? This is worse than the death of a character. He is searched by the police for murder and no one saw him ever again. They really destroyed every ounce of this drama that was salvageable. He changed his whole face for his family and Ken and then disappear forever and the only reunion he had with the supposed love of his life is a one night stand ???? That drama is one of the worse thing that I ever saw in my life.

Okay so... Lue is Din, Sai and Payu knew and now everyone is going to find out and they have to figure out what comes next with all of their personal lives.
(I mean, frankly, Ken deserves to punch him again. And Hin definitely deserves to punch Payu. I feel bad for Sai but she also kind of deserves something though it makes even more sense why she wanted Ken to move on Lue so strongly...)
I can't wait to see whatever batshit explanation there is going to be for all of this.
My prediction? Din survived but had serious memory loss (at first) and felt like a different person not just because of his face and had to get revenge and, possibly, was told at first that Ken was dead.
But this is definitely giving my Reichenbach Falls vibes, the idea that he was trying to get revenge and make everything safe for him and Ken to exist again only to have to give up ever coming back at himself (unlikely Sherlock) and instead coming back as Lue in the hopes of winning his love again.
Too bad he underestimated Ken's loyalty to himself.
I suspect next episode is going to be just a lot of Lue's POV in the past (or Din's? Damn, what name to use...)

Chains of Confusion Ep. 5
@slayerkitty, another episode of Chains of Heart, another day NO ONE ASKS ABOUT THE DAMN GLOVES?!
Lue squeezed the mayor's hand so tightly, yet nobody mentioned one thing about the gloves?! Out of everything in this show, this is the most unbelievable to me.
Much like how unbelievable that Ken was strangled AGAIN! If you are keeping track of how many times Ken gets choked/strangled, the show is consistent with making it each episode.
Please don't tell me Lue is crazy enough to beat Ken up, then show up later like HE DIDN'T JUST BEAT HIM UP!
Odd choice, so I hope it was Nok who attacked Ken, but then why not just kill Ken? But it's even stranger that Lue carries a change of clothes with him, so he can fight crime no matter the time.
Nok threatens Ken to go back to Taiwan. Lue threatens Ken to go back to Taiwan. So why not team up and get Ken back to Taiwan, together? Oh, that's right. KEN WAS ATTACKED IN TAIWAN TOO. Payu of all people brought up that little nugget this episode.
Which reminds me that I actually trusted Payu this episode, and as usual, Hin gave me life with his quick quips like telling Ken to stop staring into Lue's eyes and his dinner conversation.
But back to the fight - Why did the band keep playing like it was the damn Titanic?! Food was being tossed around as well as human bodies, and the band was like "gotta earn that paycheck!"
And why is Nok quick to kill everyone else, but not these two?! Why couldn't Ken and Lue take him out?
Lue has to be Din. HE HAS TO BE! He confessed that he LOVES Ken, and he has the necklace.
The monk had to have clocked him. That is the look of an old man who is over this bullshit.
And Lue has all those scars.
But what does that tattoo mean? And why hide that he is Din from Ken?
If Lue is Din, who is leaving flowers for his mom, why doesn't he react to seeing his family? His family thinks he is dead, and they believe Lue is a bad guy, so why does Lue show no emotion around them? Or is that why he is befriending old friends?
@pharawee mentioned that Lue saying he was staying in room 707 was a nod to Din and Ken promising to meet on the 7th day of the 7th month for the festival of the two torn-apart lovers (which reminds of of something from Midnight Museum), so like...
Din, is that you player?

I have a lovehate relationship with the ending of Chains of Heart. I liked that it didn't end with Ken and Lue/Din back in love and Ken having forgiven everything. If anything, it seemed like Lue/Din was going to have a lot of work to do in order to earn Ken back after the world's dumbest plan. And then he just...disappears again. Which I think is great because I think after all that, Ken can move on and start living his life again without Lue/Din.
But then Sai called and said that bullcrap about the 7th month of the 7th year and implying things and I hated that. Sai really and truly is the worst sister. Why didn't she stop Din? Why did she go along with his whim? I digress. I like to think Ken moved back to help his dad with the restaurant and he starts building a life there. His only connections to his life in Thailand are Hin and the parents. Who were all victims of Din's stupidity. They talk on the phone from time to time and Hin visits when Ken opens up his own restaurant. Ken's new life doesn't even necessarily need to involve new romantic love.
Ken can go back for Sai's wedding. He can see Lue/Din there. But it doesn't have to mean that they're together and that Ken has forgiven him. Ken can love Lue/Din. He doesn't need to be with him. Sometimes, love isn't enough for a relationship. This is one of those times.

I don’t understand : Did Ken understood what Payu was saying and know that Lue is Din or not ? Because he said make me forget Din and they were crying in each other arms. Did he say that because he meant « Now that you are Lue and Din is never coming back, make me forget Din and enter Lue in my mind » or is it « You want to replace Din so much then make me forget him ». Did he cry because he knows it’s Din or because he feel guilty and believe he is betraying Din.
This show is really hard to understand, they don’t know how to explain their plot.
