Anjelo bid good-bye when Sophia got home.
"I'll be taking my leave now," he said, shaking Sophia's hand. "It's nice to see you well, Sophia."
"Me too," she smiled. "You sure you don't wanna stay for dinner?"
Jason nodded, "I've made a lot of dumplings."
Anjelo let out a laugh, "No, no, it's fine! See ya around!"
"Bye, Mister Anjelo!"
"Bye little man!"
With that, they sat on the dining table. Jason sat there for a moment. "Where's Louie and Sid?"
Sophia grinned, "Oh, he texted me. He and Sid are going to the theatre."
"I wanna go to the theatre too!" Mason exclaimed.
Sophia chuckled, "Next time, Mace, next time." She gave Mason his bowl full of dumplings.
"Are they on a date?" Jason asked, mouth full with a dumpling.
"Oh, shush!" Sophia shook her head, but she's smiling.
"Oh, so they are on a date!"
Louie and Sid sat outside of the theatre, waiting for the time to pass. The movie's timeslot isn't until later, so they're waiting it out.
"Sid," Louie started. "There's something I wanna tell you."
"Hmmm?"
"I..." his pale face reddened. "This sounds weird, okay...but I care for you...like, like not in the way Mama does, or my Papa, or Mace, but like...like I have these feeling where it tightens my heart whenever you smile, whenever you laugh, especially when you smile at me, and laugh at me. I—I don't know...I think—I think I have a crush on you! But—But it's more—more—than that, like greater than crush but I can't say that I lo—"
"Oh, Lou," Sid giggled.
"I have a crush on you too!"
He sat back, face flushed. "Oh. Okay. Watcher. Okay."
They sat there for a moment. But it's comfortable. Louie looked at his lap, his face feels hot. Sid can't help but giggle at him.
"So what now?"
"I...I don't—Oh!" He stood up. He held out a hand, urging her to stand up too. So she took it and stood up as well.
"A rose for you, Sid," Louie smiled at her, giving her a red rose.
She squealed, "Louieee!" She inhaled, clutching the rose to her chest. "Thank you," she smiled at him, looking through her lashes.
Louie sighed, clearly lost on Sid's heartwarming smile. She smiled back at him.
"Sid, can I ask you something?"
She nodded, "Go ahead, Lou."
"Will you...will you be my girlfriend?"
Sid blushed this time, shocked. "I...YES!"
"YEEEES!" Louie let out a happy yell.
"But Lou, I don't know about Aunt Soph and Uncle Jason...would they allow this? Especially that we're living together?"
"I'm going to talk to them," he said. "And it's not like we're rushing things, right?"
She nodded. "Yes."
"And I know they won't let us do something that we aren't allowed to do. Especially Mama," he said, determined. "And, I promise I won't do anything that you don't want me to do, Sid."
Sid sighed, smiling. "Okay, Lou. I trust you."
"Thank you for trusting me, Sid."
They held their hands together, looking at each other's eyes.
"Lou, I think it's time."
"Hmm?"
"The movie."
"Ah!"
Sid laughed. "Wait, let's take a picture first!"
And so, they finally went in the theatre to have their date.

throwback to that one time like a year ago i tried making a whole ass Louie animation to Ruler of Everything by tally hall :3 as you can see i didn’t get very far but it’s still kinda cool i think. Louie killed a robot (their only parental figure) to save the life of another robot (their best friend Zeep!!) it was a canon event
