When I really love and relate to a character, I tend to put extra passion into those cosplays. I like Michael." 💖✨🦇🤘🏻💀🏍️🍷🍾🍷🏍️💀🤘🏻🦇✨💖 So here's a selfie of my Star cosplay from The Lost Boys and now here's my non-spoiler thoughts on Morbius: Morbius was super fun if you like Vampire movies‼️ 🦇🎥🍿🖤 Morbius is a Vampire film first and foremost. It's filled with Vampire movie references, especially to The Lost Boys and gave strong Dracula the Untold vibes too. The scientific approach to Vampires is very reminiscent of the Underworld films as well. Vampire movies are my thing, especially The Lost Boys and the Underworld films so I LOVED how the references were done‼️ 🖤🦇🖤 Morbius has always been an antihero Vampire with a science twist in Marvel comics, which was why I loved him so much‼️ 🖤🦇🍷🦇🖤 While I greatly appreciated Morbius, if you're going in expecting a usual super hero film, you'll be disappointed. If you don't like Vampires, you'll be disappointed. That was my friend's reaction to the movie that I saw it with because they don't like Vampire stuff. When I started to talk about those aspects, they didn't know that stuff. I still say many are being really mean to this film because there is a lot of good Vampire fun on screen‼️ There was clearly a lot of effort put into this movie‼️ They actually take the time to explain and expore his powers with a super hero science in some super fun ways 🤘🏻 The comics usually just gave Morbius generic Vampire powers. Today is the first anniversary of the passing of Joel Schumacher, the director of The Lost Boys 🖤🦇🍾🍷✨🏍️🎷🤘🏻💀🌙 He was openly gay at a time when few were out of the closet. He directed many successful Hollywood films. He changed how Hollywood viewed movie soundtracks with how successful the sales were for The Lost Boys soundtrack. He understood the importance of music in film before most did. The aesthetics on his films were always amazing. I had to research a ton before even starting the cosplay. I realized there were 3 different versions of Paul's jacket based off screenshots and publicity pics for the movie. Other details in the costume were not as consistent as films are now.
