My fic for Jump Scare, a little horror-themed flash exchange. I took the creepy-cute option and wrote about a Lords of Silence nurgling on a quest.

It squishes through one of the gaps between the hatch and the wall, popping out the other side into the ship's messy guts. There are so many parts in here, hidden from people by the walls of the ship's skin. Squelch clambers over pipes with fat coppery blisters on the metal and ducks under wires that drip with mucous. Once, the tallyman says, the ship wasn't alive. It was just a thing. Now instead of a thing it's a jungle, messy and wild, growing and changing and devouring what it can.

let me preface this by saying that I was thinking about the fact I don't trust shaking people's hands because idk if they actually wash them whenever they use the bathroom. and it led me here so

Nya — Absolutely would. Queen <3

Cole — In my heart I want to say yes. But he canonically pees in the pool. So,,, I will go with yes and I will choose to believe that both instances are mutually exclusive.

Kai — He used to but once he unlocked his elemental powers he just uses fire to sterilize the bacteria. Personally I don't find it gross because fire and heat can be very effective at sterilization

Lloyd — When he was younger he only used water with no soap but when he got older he does use soap. Character development <3

Jay — No, sorry :(

Zane — Doesn't need to use the bathroom anymore but when he did he did wash his hands because he understands the importance of basic hygiene

Garmadon — The evil influences every part of his life but he would refuse to let it prevent him from washing his hands after using the bathroom because that is NASTY

Arin — He was perfectly fine with wearing a mask that was dirty for who knows how long that literally made Lloyd gag,,, So who knows

I like to think he does though because outside of the mask thing he just seems like the type

Wyldfyre — Doesn't even know what a sink is. I know that she was still taught enough to where she understands a lot of things about society but she would not know what a sink is and doesn't care to figure it out. Also her elemental powers work similar to Kai's at getting rid of bacteria even if they're not as hot as his.

I was going to do him last week but wasn't able to get something done in time for MMM. So far as I can tell, this is the only fanart of him...possibly anywhere on the Internet, I couldn't find any on a Google Image search. This meant I got to interpret him.however I liked (especially since I haven't read Lords of Silence in a long time). I left his eyes blank because I forgot to color them in, but it's theorized that his original chapter is a Raven Guard successor chapter, so his eyes should be black.

I'm mostly proud of how this one turned out!

Watching Remus and Sirius together, everyone assumed that Remus was the early-riser who had to drag his partner out of bed everyday, but it was quite the opposite.

While Remus was a night owl who stayed up way too long and preferred to sleep in, Sirius was always up first. He didn’t like being awake in the dark of night, but loved those couple of hours by himself in the morning, watching the sunrise, drinking his tea, maybe sketching. There was a peaceful silence to the world that he enjoyed.

And every day, he’d press soft kisses to Remus’ curls until he peeked his head from under the covers where he’s burrowed.

But somedays, when Sirius was bored of peace, he’d jump on the bed as Padfoot and leave slobbery kisses all over Remus’ face.

woof, okay, so I wasn't lying when I said that this is the most self-indulgent fic I could come up with - I was in the mood for some good self-care and unfortunately for my blorbos that means putting someone in the torture machine 😬

(oh no I just opened the doc and it turns out that, while this premise has been rotating in my mind like a rotisserie chicken for the past several months, I haven't actually written anything for it other than a brief outline, that's so disappointing, I'm so sorry)

(this is lowkey what spawned the family dinners post! so I guess that's where my writing for this went 🙄😒)

so in lieu of a snippet, here's a little summary instead:

After an accidental reveal, Jack and Maddie decide that they love their son—but they can’t accept his ghost side. So, they enlist the help of their all-too-eager friend Vlad and sign over Danny’s guardianship on the terms that he takes Danny far away so that the GIW never find him (because while they want to dissect all the ghosts, they just can’t bring themselves to do it to their son). Danny tries his best to persuade his parents to send him to his Uncle Constantine instead, but is forced to agree when things start to get heated. He’s not happy, no one’s happy… except Vlad, really.

But, since this is a post-Future Dan fic, Danny knows a few of the JL's identities - Batman being one of them. Vlad is pretty easily persuaded to move to Gotham with Danny and Danny puts his "befriend the Waynes and somehow use them to get Constantine's number because dear Ancient's he needs to hide somewhere from Vlad and the House seems like the best bet" plan into action!

Things do not go smoothly at all.

My favorite thing about the fact that Michael Sheen will soon be able to talk about every little dirty detail behind the scenes of season two is that we all wanna know about that kiss. And you know damn good and well he knows we wanna know what it was like to kiss David Tennant. We all have seen this man interacting with the fandom and being a part of it. We've repeatedly witnessed this man go Full Feral™️. We've all seen that Michael Sheen and David Tennant have literally no problem with kissing other men for their jobs. And not even fake ass actor kissing. Not even a kiss next to the mouth shot at an angle that will trick you into thinking they're really kissing.

NOPE

Both of these men have kissed (at least lips to lips idk about any tongue stuff but knowing them??? Probably) men full on, outright, no pretending. So like Michael knows we know this. He knows he's not gonna get away with any kind of half assed answers about kissing the mf David Tennant. But knowing him? And the secrets he keeps with His Angel? He will most likely give us some vague, half flirtatious response and we will all eat it up anyway.
