the brown - green accents are different from her warmer coloring, but begrudgingly or not, the lord commander of the sand snakes has don her fit for the targaryen’s ball: the bodice of her gown is an imitation of leaves, fabric starched and dyed to mimic the hearty woodlands she has not seen many times over her years; with a bit of volume to the hips, the gown falls flatter on the bottom, dark green silks giving way to a parting in between that displays a darker shade of pants, in the same fabric, giving her more freedom of movement without too much concern for modesty. though her arms are bare, from her elbow to the tip of her fingers there has been a mixture of paints and transparent gloves, bits of greenery glued to the second - skin giving the appearance that she’s growing moss on her own flesh. her mask is of bark, a few compliments here and there; her hair has been tied, barely, in a braid, and upon the curls there are several wisps of florets — dandelions, baby breaths and the like, carefully tucked by her sister, whom had been oh so much more excited than herself by the prospect of such foreign extravagance.

though the weather has not yet turned bitingly cold, the duchess of suffolk can be seen in a modest but no less extravagant display with a deeply rich cloth of red made from the most expensive imported dyes softened by creamy whites ─ along with emphasizing the family wealth, the colors also represent the grey family's coat of arms and if one were to see the sisters together, the shared color palette upon different styles, cloths and patterns marks them as a strong unit. sporting a french hood in similar shades, the red brocade can be seen in her kirtle, peeking out at the neckline, sleeves and skirts, as well as being added to her hood, pulled back to show a hint of her bronzed locks and embellished with rubies and pearls as large as her thumbnail. these same embellishments continue down to her dress, sewn into the neckline and hems of her sleeves though her fingers remain bare except for her right thumb which sports the signet ring that had belonged to her father. a distinctly masculine ring, the snarling lion marks her as one from the royal bloodline and further calls back to the lion, rampant, on the family coat of arms.

✩ about the items!

➷ think pink! -- a two-picture promo template inspired by the iconic 2023 movie posters. you'll need: two pngs of your faceclaim of choice, and the custom fonts (listed below). the glittery polygon of the first picture is available in 7 different glitter colors! high quality examples.

➷ this barbie -- two options of transparent dash icons; one matching the "initial" poster and one matching the "glittery polygon" poster. high quality examples.

➷ so plastic -- two options of centralized headers; one matching the "initial" poster and one matching the "glittery polygon" poster. to use it at its best quality, disable the "stretch header image" option when uploading the header. high quality examples.

➷ magenta -- version 1.0: pinned post (or miscellaneous) banner inspired by the 2023 barbie poster. version 2.0: pinned post (or miscellaneous) pair of banners mimmicking the layout of a barbie doll box. one banner goes on top of the postbox, insert pinned post or text, and the other banner goes on the bottom! high quality examples.

✩ important tips & useful information!

➷ needed fonts: bartex, cocogoose.

➷ object pngs + removing background of images: i found a super useful pinterest board with photos that can be used on your graphics: oxfordcommah's object pngs. additionally, the clothes png search on p*nterest is really diverse, and you can narrow your interests like "pink clothes png" or "vintage shoes png" and find a lot of options. once you found your images, go to remove.bg and paste their urls in there. it'll remove the background of those images for you and you can just paste them on your template and have fun!

➷ used coloring psds: the beautiful and super pink psds i used on the previews were not made by me and are NOT included in the downloads. in case you want to use them, they can be found here: dreams, 003.

➷ styles: the download includes two styles, one for a subtle drop shadow used in a few layers and one for the plastic box effect in the lookbook template. you can install them by opening the styles tab on photoshop > the four lines > load styles > find the barbie styles on your downloads!

Edit inspired by @magbay Kazuha's psd! It was fun experimenting with this style and going as far as creating my own QR code (which will lead you to my blog!)

i’ve been loyal to dropbox for years but this option is much more convenient for myself and all of you. the drive is organized into several folders that you may download individually or as a compressed .zip file. my dropbox links are still available on the source link of each of my posts. of they are broken, find it on the drive before messaging me. my dropbox will remain open but all new resources will be uploaded onto drive only.

it includes resources i’ve shared on bumkeyz with the exception of my lookbook templates. i’m not satisfied with my work then and it makes me hashtag cringe when i look at it. i plan on re-working them into sleek / modern templates with time. please do not ask for my lookbook templates, but if you look hard enough you can find them in hell :’)
