we started working on the prototype AU not long ago and how everyone looks/works we call it world 0 AU
we kind of opposite everyone's personalities so Momo is mean, her normal weight is bigger but she wants to look "beautiful" so she's always seen as skinny her quirk isn't creation anymore but she can put things inside her and it's gone forever like a black hole but there is no hole it's just like Momo's quirk but backwards
we came to the conclusion that the opposite of acid is something cold so Mina has a ice quirk and looks like a narwhal
I made Bakugo who we are calling Gougou cause i think thats what the fandom calls prototype Bakugo's quirk high pressured water like a fire extinguisher and i turned the grenade gauntlets into ire extinguishers instead

And ZH's FACE AS HE LOOKS AT HIS BEAUTIFUL LAOGONG, "There's still a card left, are you playing solo??"
8:18 - At the end, ZH calls him a puppy and GJ is like, why am I on there??? And ZH just looks at him, oh, my sweet summer pupper.

I don't like aknowledging pinpan's relation to god iop that much because I mean just look at it (it being iop's situation) nor I believe they are that similar in personality or appearance, to me Iop's soul was basically a blank canvas for the mortal lives that came after him, ending with pinpan.
That being said, remember when iop was shown having his left index finger broken by a very strong baby goultard, in a wakfu flashback? I headcanon that the finger ended up basically arthritic. And while he could've possibly gotten that properly healed he never did:
He'd tell you it was because of some blabbery about the pride of a warrior being in their wounds, or something about baby gougou being THAT strong as a demigod, enough to leave a dent into a god...
However, it was because he wanted that injured creaky finger to serve as a memento of his son. I don't think he has other mementos from a child, but because goultard breaking his finger was THAT much of unprompted and silly to him (similar to how we could say a big part why eca got a big soft spot for keke was because of his little strich/truche quest/chase cheating).
Maybe he actually used his god powers to ensure that, whenever he reincarnated, even if he changed, his soul always kept the broken finger memento. Maybe it was an accident, his emotion being so deep and strong, a positive feeling by iop for at least once.
Maybe future lives, who also had that finger quirk, and were unaware of it (assuming only pinpan got to knew of his godly origins), would've liked mementos of their families too, to carry across reincarnations.. But they didn't have the flaming stubborn soul of a god. Because while it had been, before them, now was fully mortal...
So of course, pinpan has his left index finger a bit crooked and creaky since birth. That's just assumed to be an arthritis-of-some-sort. Of course he enjoys the sound it makes when it bends near his ears, the others think it's weird.
Once goultard realises his pupil's origins, is not like he notices this. Iop never told anyone, maybe he was too proud or too embarrassed by that.
It isn't til time after the plot happens goultard mentions how his mother told him he broke his dad's index as a baby, and pinpan points out how that is precisely his "a bit twisted looking" finger.
And they think about it...
And yes, if you've been paying attention, you might've realised we were lucky enough to have the finger be on the left hand, so the memento still stays even after pinpan's right arm gets replaced. :)

I just wanna say that , I love your Yuu design , your really talented and thank you for drawing Yuu Ochako (she needs more love in the fandom ) she looks amazing ! 💗
Aww thank you! Yuu as Proto!Ochako gets nowhere near as much love as Yamikumo and Gougou/Proto!Kacchan that it makes me very sad. Though I can see why Horikoshi decided to change his story's focus from a female protagonist with a Quirk to a male protagonist that starts without one, I feel like I still would have read it and eat all that content just the same.
There is one manga I read that sorta fills in the hole that Yuu woulda filled, and that's Shy written by Bukimi Miki. It's not really much when you compare it to something like BnHA, but it is still about a world of superheroes with our main protagonist being a very shy hero with her hero name literally being Shy.

THE・Chonk Tie
We all know about Midoriya-kun's iconic tiny chonky tie. Horikoshi-sensei has already explained it away as Midoriya-kun just being bad at tying it. In Japanese he uses the word "ヘタ" (heta), meaning clumsy or unskilled.
But, just for the helluvit, I'm gonna speculate on this a bit. I think there's actually a ton of stuff packed into this tiny tie.

Midoriya-kun went to a middle school with a gakuran uniform so he likely never needed a tie. On top of that fandom likes to speculate that since his Dad isn't around, no one can actually show him how to do it. I can't disagree with Midoriya-kun just being a clumsy fashion disaster. It's a very straightforward explanation.
But in this age of tutorials and YouTube, part of me just can't let it go. And Midoriya-kun has friends now that would probably teach him if he asked. Heck, Mina-chan taught Midoriya-kun how to dance, and you're telling me she can't teach him how to tie his damn necktie???
But almost everytime we see this kid in a tie, it's always tied like that. In almost every illustration or sketch where Midoriya-kun is wearing a tie, even the gender bend one and random fun sketches posted to twitter, Horikoshi-sensei has him in some variation of this tie. He has been very meticulous about it and it's details like this that make me such a huge fan of Horikoshi-sensei.
(It's such a small detail, but it's one of my favorite parts about his design. I always see fans going on and on about his adorable face, freckles, green eyes, green curly hair... But no one talks about this damn tie!!! It's one of the best things about his design IMO. )
In fact, the only time we don't see this is the culture festival performance. That's the only time I've seen this kid with his tie on properly. Look at this perfectly tied nonsense right here!!!
(Granted, these costume ties do seem to be a bit shorter than the uniform ties. On Ochako-chan, Tsuyu-chan and Mina-chan, the ties seem even shorter.)
But assuming that he didn't get someone else to help him, or it wasn't already tied and ready to slip on (that's actually the likelier scenario, but, shhhhh!), then he actually tied that tie on properly. Considering all the practice, they had to have taught him how to tie the tie at some point.
But that said, if this kid KNOWS what he's doing, why is it that the chonk tie still lives?
(Back after the culture festival and even more glorious than before?!)
Consider that a normal tie you could get away with just loosening it and just re-wearing it, but this chub version has to be re-tied every day. So why does Midoriya-kun do it, if he knows how to tie it properly?
He does it on purpose.
In 2009, there was a trend among British uniformed school kids to tie their ties improperly as a form of rebellion.
Midoriya-kun's tie is actually called "the superfat style".
Odd coincidence or did Horikoshi-sensei make our boy a hidden rebel?
We all know Midoriya Izuku has a baby face with a hidden rebel side. And it must be noted that in Class 1-A, everyone else, except a certain gremlin child (yes, Bakugou-kun, I'm talking about you, now shut up, I'll get to you later), has a properly tied tie.
Midoriya-kun doesn't express his rebellious nature outwardly and seems to be in line with the stereotypical cooperative Japanese rule abiding citizen. But, despite his cherubic baby face and outwardly tame veneer, Midoriya Izuku is a known feral, law-breaking, quirkless hero society outlier. AND HE ALWAYS HAS BEEN.
All Might said I can't be a hero? Prove him wrong, win his quirk. Iida-kun's in trouble? Laws? What laws? Todoroki-kun looks sad? I'll just break some bones so he'll feel better. Villains are attacking, so I should go back to camp? Hard pass, there's a kid I need to save. What, Kacchan's in danger??! My arms are broken, but that's what I saved my legs for. All of Class 1-A doesn't want us to go save Kacchan? Well, just watch me and my worst yakuza impression ever as I wear this fake goatee, break curfew and sneak into a villain hideout packed with several noumu and one very scary AFO.
Just what part of Midoriya Izuku isn't a rebel?!
Going back to the prototype oneshot of Boku no Hero Academia, "Boku no Hero" Horikoshi-sensei re-used the main character Jack's design. This character was actually similar to Midoriya Izuku in a lot of ways. A quirkless salary man who wanted to be a hero and used support items to fight.
Horikoshi-sensei loves paying homage to his earlier works by reusing old character designs. Tenko, Snipe, Gang Orca, and more were recognizable concepts that found their way into Boku no Hero Academia. Considering Horikoshi-sensei's heavy emphasis on the theme of 'remembering one' s origins,' it really comes as no surprise the author does this himself. He has done that quite a lot before and it's not surprising at all.
(Considering he was a professional salary man in a suit, the chonk tie is even more of a visual symbol of the maverick nature of this character.)
What came as a surprise to me is that Midoriya-kun's prototype Akatani Mikumo actually didn't have this feature. Both he and Gougou Katsuki (Bakugou-kun's prototype) wore their ties properly?
Well, I guess it's close enough on proto-Bakugou, considering our Bakugou-kun lost his tie completely... (I said, shut up Bakugou-kun, I will talk about you NEXT! Geez, this brat).
So why did Horikoshi-sensei decide to ressurect the chonk tie? Remembering his origins? As an homage to Jack? Hidden rebel? Maverick thinker? Clumsy kid? Fashion disaster? Extremely successful iconic shounen protagonist design feature?
Or maybe, all of the above...?
Either way, Midoriya-kun just wouldn't be the same without his tiny tie. And I'm here for it.

Hello!! First off, I just want to say I love your art and your headcanons!! They’re so amazing!!! Second, I want to tell you this idea I have for MHA. So what if prototype!Izuku (Yami/Yamikumo) and prototype!Bakugou (Katsu/Gougou) were canon Izuku and Bakugou’s older brothers. They all just just grow up together, being buds, but Yami and Gougou are 100% dating, eventually getting married. Then one day in the dorm’s common room, they’re doing a mail call or smth, and Bakugou and Deku get like a postcard from Yami and Gougou’s honeymoon, saying they’re on their way home. Now all a 1-A wants to meet them because, they have?? Brothers???

Yeah I do really get why people thinks she's really bad, even with her clearly caring for her boy, there's abusers who also love their kids. It just fits perfectly for that narrative. She's an incredible flawed person and not the greatest mother but she does love her kid. Idk if I'd even call her a good mom. I do wonder how bakugou would've turned out if she was a good mom and addressed his behaviour as a child. We wouldn't have out bakugou but it'd be interesting
yeah,, like i understand people not liking her for their own personal reasons which is w/e, ppl can dislike characters i dont really care. mitsuki’s a bit of a complex one when you look into it.
it would be interesting to see if bakugou had gotten his behaviour addressed as a kid, what would happen and how much the story would be changed...

Is this the real life, is this just fantasy, CAUGHT IN A LANDSLIIIDE - (April 2, 2022 rant & JunZhe IRL drama)
So ok. SOMETIMES, being in this fandom feels like it's its own real life DRAMA. Like, first we all stanned SHL/WOH, where two adult men find each other after years of toil and trouble, fall in love, fight together against society and its expectations, and go live their merry lil lives.
And then I get pulled into the IRL drama - aka two adult men find each other after years of toil and trouble and go on 'secret' one night dates, and EXCHANGING rings, and DEFYING c-ent expectations by supporting each other even through the highly competitive c-ent branding industry (i.e. sharing the same LIPSTICK and LINK sales for Tom Ford),+
and living and LOVING and SINGING their love to each other LIVE ON STAGE with their whole on-screen family and OFFSCREEN FAMILY watching (and where we all collectively lost our hearts and minds to them FOREVER) +
and STANDING BY EACH OTHER through thick and thin, and always raising each other up by their own hands and REFUSING to unfollow each other even after the world crashes down around them (813), continuously giving hints and love that each of them exists and are healthy and whole ("Auntie" and fried duck intestines), and showing off that they are SUPER married please DO NOT APPROACH (GJ and his many ringed fingers) +
and finally feeling a breather when one Uncle, one man who saw wrongdoing and took it upon himself to help out one of these boys in his darkest times, only to hold onto each other and to truth and justice and LIGHT as tightly as possible. Things were looking up and police cases were getting FILED and public opinion TURNED.
And even solemnly professing and going on an RP walk to the very spot his husband/laopo went to and telling the world on VALENTINE'S DAY with full I LOVE YOU FOREVER kadian that nothing changes even after the world has fallen and the earth is threatening to swallow them up - with continuous anti-scandals/ZSJ scandals/MERCH scandals,
And then said Uncle gets muted and the TRASH COMES FLYING OUT from all corners of c-ent, a man comes out to try and impersonate one of them, an ex-music manager takes advantage of his image and brand while he's so muted he can only release small leaked audio clips of him affirming his goals, his own best friend is so LOST he thinks he's supporting his bro but he has ties to the very ex-music manager herself so WHO KNOWS where he's coming from, +
and meanwhile his husband, his LAOGONG subtly posts on instagram that it's so easy to accidentally post things on instagram woops! I guess sometimes you can't trust what's on someone's Instagram post! He meant to post that sunset photo for his drama what a silly gougou, BUT US, WE'RE USED to him being a 50G internet/tech savvy person and know he meant something by it because it's impossible to accidentally post photos on instagram during editing bc it makes you confirm several times that you're posting! He also surreptitiously proved this subtle point by posting and instantly deleting a black and white photo of his shadow overlayed on soft polaroid pictures - clearly he KNEW that he could just delete, he didn't HAVE to announce to the world that he made a "mistake" - AND THEN +
His husband/laopo's instagram is suddenly taken out of private mode and starts accepting followers at midnight and his logo is now CHANGED and a sudden OLD photograph of him is shown on it - what curious timing this is! Right when GJ posted an out-of-character comment on his own Instagram. TIN HATS ON? MAYBE. BUT ALSO, IT'S GJ he does this shit all the time, Mr. Colander.
So the drama continues, our heroes, our protagonists are now dealing with a new foe in C-ent, the ex-music manager, the confusingly loyal but misleading best friend, the IMPERSONATOR.
Who will come next? What can we expect on next week's episode of SHL / WOH: IRL edition?
(ok but forreal these two's love for each other (even if you're not a CP fan or you don't believe in love then gtfo why are you here, but even so you cannot deny how much they do for each other) - their love for each other AMAZES AND DISGUSTS ME AND MAKES ME CRY INTO THE VOID. YEET MYSELF INTO THE SUN and it'll still be less hot than their IRL romance ok done)

What do you think KatsuYamiYuu hero costumes would be like , if their were n Bnha universe ??
Personally, I like having parallels between fanon and canon, though I also like the thought of them remaining faithful to their original designs (like Deku and his jumpsuit)... More under the cut 'cause I know I'll be rambling though:
Much like Deku, Yami would welcome continuous modifications to his gears in order to expand his versatility. I can also see him replicating some OFA abilities in his gears as well (ie. grappling hooks for Blackwhip). I remember him staying Quirkless, so he'd also have other things to help him keep up with the others if not retain his utility in a variety of fields (mask & headpiece changed into a helmet with thermal/night vision; tranquilizers; traps; possibly some costume modifications for stealth; that kind of stuff). He'd unfortunately be on the heavier side in terms of the amount of support gears he'd be carrying compared to others, but I have a good feeling he'd find ways other than just strength/endurance training to keep himself compact and nimble on the field if he's as big of a nerd as Deku.
Proto!Kacchan/Gougou would prob have the least changes to his costume. One thing I found interesting in his attire/the way Horikoshi drew his design is the use of more loose/light, baggy pants, a sheathed knife and the posture he's drawn in:
To me, it gives the impression of him preferring more flexibility for martial arts/hand-to-hand combat purposes and him using his Quirk more so for an added oomph to his punches (I mean, look at the gauntlet and tell me it's not for making his punches literally explode in the enemy's face) as opposed to being solely reliant on his Quirk. Possibly overall more grounded (both in terms of Quirk usages & personality lmfao) than his canon counterpart, imo. I see him preferring his costume on the lighter, more compact side as opposed to, say, Kacchan's big ass gauntlets.
Yuu's costume would depend entirely on whether you view her more as Proto!Mt. Lady or Proto!Ochako---that is, aside from keeping her jumpsuit faithful to its original design (to parallel Deku as fellow MCs), how her gears would reflect her Quirk's usability.
If you feel Yuu would retain Mt. Lady's Gigantification Quirk, she would likely not have any support gears whatsoever to prevent complications that come with having them on her person (ie. breaking out of them when she changes size and/or figuring out a way for these gears to 'grow' with her). That'd mean the concept designs we saw of Proto!Ochako's gears shown in these images are nulled:
Rather than thinking of support gears, Yuu as Proto!Mt. Lady would likely lean more towards modifying her jumpsuit to be more durable and more resistant to external changes (more padding, tear-/thermal-/water-resistant fabric, more hardened material in like the fists/knees/legs for added combat damage). More 'layers' to the fabric would prob also mean she'd be prone to sweating underneath, though? probably? so I imagine the stomach sides in her jumpsuit from this image would be more light mesh (and unfortunately the weak spots of her costume outside of exposed skin):
One thing I feel that'd be different, though, is somehow implementing her mask to be more like heat-seeking goggles (or at least include some holographic overlay to provide it). This would help her immensely when trying to keep an eye on where all the lil' guys are at beneath her.
Now, if you instead see Yuu as Proto!Ochako like I do, I'm sure you can see from some previous sketches/drawings(?) that I personally believe she'd parallel Ochako's support gears with some of my headcanon-added components. More info of that can be found here.

Akatani Mikumo (+Other Prototypes) Headcannons
For those who aren't aware, Akatani Mikumo was a prototype for Izuku Midoriya. Here is a sample sketch below:
Physically speaking, Akatani has black long hair that covers his red eyes. Otherwise, he still carries most of Izuku's traits (the boi got da freckles!!!). So, without further ado...
...here we go.
Like Izuku, Akatani's nickname is also his hero name: Yamikumo.
Yuu Takeyama was originally the name of Ochako's prototype. She had some of Ochako's looks, but her quirk and name were of Mt. Lady. Eventually, Horikoshi gave the name and quirk to the Mt. Lady we know today, but he kept Prototype!Yuu's design, eventually turning her into Ochako. Much like her cannon counterpart, Yuu has a crush on Akatani, and their feelings are ultimately reciprocated.
Akatani's Katsuki is actually a decent person, though he also has a tendency to accidentally tell people off. He looks exactly like Katsuki, but his personality is completely different. His nickname is Gougou (轟轟), which means "rumbling." He and Akatani are basically brothers in everything but blood.
Akatani's All Might is buff 24/7. He didn't have a crippling injury because there wasn't an All for One in his world. This All Might just spends his time taking down everyday villains, and the occasional megalomaniacal mega boss who almost defeats All Might but then loses because this world is more in line with classic comic books. Also, his hero name is Valiant.
Akatani remains Quirkless. One for All is replaced by Super-Power as Valiant's quirk.
Valiant and Akatani have an... interesting dynamic. Valiant still wants to be the Symbol of Peace (he's doing a good job of it, too), and then he sees this scrappy young teen who, in spite of his own apparent cynicisms and lack of a quirk, still wants to become a hero and stick it up to the stuck ups and villains alike. Seeing Akatani would likely remind Valiant how he was once an idealistic teen, too (Super-Power grows stronger as time goes on, like how One for All grew stronger with each wielder). Valiant would realize that he may have gotten a bit too caught up in the moment of stopping flashy villains and overhyping petty theft. Akatani would make him see that he still has a lot of work to do... and maybe he'd give Akatani some words of wisdom while he's at it.
Akatani isn't as initially hopeful as Izuku was. He's still berated for being Quirkless, which grates on his self-esteem and makes him a bit cynical. His ideology would be a combination of All Might's heroism and what Akatani has seen from the bottom of the social chain. He'd probably get into one or two fist fights with the other kids because he's trying to protect someone else. But even if he's beaten and bruised? The bullies go away; the person Akatani was protecting is safe. That's enough for him to decide that quirk or Quirkless, he's gonna be a hero. He also wouldn't be as self-depreciating as Izuku because Gougou (and later Yuu) would be his support system. He's still a bit reckless, though.
I personally think that in terms of gear, Akatani would have the following:
Electro-Gloves (Izuku's Full Cowl lighting is one of his most prominent aesthetics, and his early drafts suggest a tazer would be a part of his arsenal. Thus, I give Yamikumo cool combat gloves with electric properties to continue the trend.)
Grappling Hook Guns (He has two of them on his person when he's out heroing. Also, as this post states, Akatani's hero name was more in line as a Spider-Man reference, so him occasionally swinging on his way to deliver justice, or just trapping villains, isn't too far fetched.)
Utility Belt (Yamikumo still has a utility belt in his costume. It's mostly just first aid in the pockets, but he does carry two other items in particular: flash bangs and smoke bombs. Yamikumo is a bruiser, but he likes working in a little misdirection into his fighting style. When you're Quirkless, use every advantage given to you.)
Izuku got a slight costume redesign, so I think it's only fair that Yamikumo gets his own as well (plus, his initial hero costume is a bit too creepy). I'd personally go for a more indirect form of intimidation. Yamikumo would still wear a respirator with the whole shark teeth grin aesthetic, just a little bit smoother than the one in his initial sketches. The top part of his costume would basically be the extremely durable and dark equivalent of an All Might hoodie (he'd even keep the bunny ears). He'd still wear his own unique brand of red shoes, though.

If Akatani ever met his other counterparts (Izuku [Hero], Izuka [Hero], Deku [Villain], and Dekiru [Vigilante]), he'd likely be one of the only sane members of the group.
Akatani does the Naruto run sometimes. Don't question why, he just does. It's surprisingly effective, too.
If his hood takes damage for whatever reason, Akatani has a backup mask in his Utility Belt reminiscent of his old costume with a built in filtration system.
Akatani is a good team player, but if he's placed on the same team with Prototype!Yuu or Gougou, RUN.
Akatani will not hesitate to poke your eyes put with his Electro-Gloves if he's pissed enough.
Akatani is a surprisingly good therapist; he'll listen to your problems and comfort you afterwards, but he'll be honest if he has to be.
Akatani's smile is actually very bright. His smile with his hero gear on is only bright if he's not facing a villain.
Akatani and Prototype!Yuu cuddle. So do Akatani and Gougou.
Akatani has some of Izuku's other qualities, like compulsive muttering, scary analytical skills, and lacking social graces.
He's probably more composed than Izuku is, and his brand of awkward is more deadpan and honest misunderstanding, like Shoto and Mr. Aizawa.
Akatani likes to spar. If Gougou's busy, Yuu will likely fill in for him.
Yuu's quirk is slightly different from Canon!Mt. Lady. She can actually increase the size of her limbs separately. Of course, the proportional strength still carries over.

Summary:
It was a family joke that they must have been switched at birth.
After all, Yamikumo looked so much like Inko and Gougou looked so much like Mitsuki that it was kind of hard to believe that they came from different parents. But Yamikumo obviously took after his father Masaru so much, and Gougou clearly inherited his father Hisashi’s fire-based quirk. So, it was clearly just a funny coincidence that they looked alike.
And so who would have been Midoriya Izuku became Bakugou Yamikumo, and who would have been Bakugou Katsuki became Midoriya Gougou.
It’s amazing what a parent can change...

Welcome to the Canon Verse - Proto!BNHA Drabbles
Yamikumo hadn't meant to start a rivalry within hours of landing in a different universe.
No, but it wasn't like he could avoid the raging asshole who'd been bugging him about being quirkless. But at least he'd quickly kicked his ass and proved him wrong.
Looks like years of avoiding Kacchan's explosions had come in handy after all.

Being stuck in another universe could suck. Gougou knew that. But he had his best friends with him at least.
He had some new friends who wanted to help him settle in too.
Midoriya and the other Kirishima were living proof that sunshine boys were real. And as they settled down to play video games, Gougou figured that if anybody could enjoy this experience, it was him.

Yuu had never been so flustered in her life.
She'd been walking around the alternate U. A, finding her feet, seeing what was the same and what was different.
She hadn't expected to run into so many pretty girls. Certainly hadn't expected to be asked to join them for tea.
She counted herself lucky that she didn't accidentally float them into space...
