but it's not one of their ususal *death wrenching holding onto each other for their lives* hugs either, simon is only reaching out with one arm cause he knows that he shouldn't get too attached again but he can't help himself and wants wille to be okay and he honestly needs that hug just as much as wille does and he wants him to know that: no, i'm not mad at you. we don't have to be strangers. i care about you.

I was gonna wait to post this then something happened at the end so I deced to post the current w.i.p rn and omgosh its mumbo angst? who woulda guesses?

He was finally free, well as free as a 16 year old can be on the streets, but thats not the point. The point is that he’s free from his parents, for the first time hes actually free from them. There was a feeling, deep in his stomach, that hes never felt before. It was a mix of  pure happiness, nervousness, fear, and possibly just they tiniest bit of regret? Though he dosent know what he regrets, maybe its the regret that he left protection from the weather (but weather is about as far as that protection went, nothing could fully protect him from his parents), maybe it was leaving the ability to have a somewhat steady food source (if you call sneaking food to his room a “steady source”), maybe it was just regret for  leaving his parent, because, deep down, he thinks that meant well and just didnt know how to properly show it. Maybe this regret will grow, maybe this regret will leave, maybe it won’t. He might never know. What he dose know is that right now all he has to worry about is finding something to eat for the day…which is easier said than done considering he didn’t have much money to his name. Scratch that. He didnt have any money to his name, he didnt have any money to begin with and it would have been far to risky to try and steal some, his parent watched their wallets like hawks for some odd reason, so he just didnt bother trying.
