I didn't like KFP 3 as much as the first or second, but it was still quite good.
Usually, i feel like the goal of sequel films, is too expand upon what was good about the original, while still adding in new elements
That's why Kung Fu Panda 2 is such a good sequel. It built upon Po's existing story, and added it's own things
And i think that's where the Despicable Me films fail, while the first is a charming, humorous film about a villain who's really, really bad at being evil, the second doesn't do much to build or expand, and the third falls flat entirely. Don't even get me started on Minions.
