For the first time, I see fan art about Nico the Catboy, an AT character made by @sabertoothwalrus, in Lofter, a Chinese microblogging site from China.

As Tumblr and Instagram aren't accessible in China, Lofter becomes a local equivalent of Tumblr for Chinese artists. It's great to see art about Nico at this point, especially in a foreign platform!
NaruSasu and SasuNaru tag are ranked 28th and 35th in the LOFTER most popular couples ranking by the number of subscribers, and by the number of views of the tag NaruSasu is ranked 19th and SasuNaru is 36th.
The platform is a Chinese network for artists to share their work similar to Pivix and Tumblr.
Also in the top in terms of the number of participants subscribed to the ObiKaka tag they take 25th place, HashiMada 47, SasuSaku 98 and TobiIzu 136, and in terms of the number of views of the ObiKaka tag they take 23rd place, HashiMada 53, SasuSaku 98.

Someone translated one of my fics into Chinese!!
I am genuinely so excited!! And it looks like people have commented, but I have no idea what they've said.
Not surprised about the lofter debacle. Each time I go to the app page it recommends me ai art and honestly it was quite discouraging to see so many positive comments on those posts. I thought, is the narrative different here? Does the CN fandom support ai art? Especially when it's hard to tell what's ai and not and you click in thinking you've discovered a new artist... And there isn't one. Not surprised to see artists pushing back.
