requested: no, but i got this idea a couple of days ago and i think it's what I needed to get off my writers block, fingers crossed 🥹

summary: you regretted accepting your bff's offer of being her plus one for a party you didn't even want to attend in the first place. but it brought you to him.

word count: 1.3k

warnings: not proofread. mention of a party, alcohol and the consumption of, don't talk to strangers you see on the sidewalk (?

you didn't even need to be there in the first place.

but your friend insisted that you hadn't moved to spain only for academic purposes, even if that's what you made your parents back at home believe. still, you weren't as drawn to parties as sofía was, and still, you found yourself right were she dragged you to be. some party held by a football club for winning a random trophy. that's what she had told you, only knowing half of it because her current fling, who was a player for the team, told her about it.

when you arrived there, though, you figured that it wasn't just some party held by a football club for winning a random trophy. it was a celebration for the entire barcelona fútbol club after winning the spanish super cup against none other than real madrid.

you couldn't say that it wasn't fun at first.

but being more on the introverted spectrum of social interactions, and not one to drink much, if even at all, made you grow tired of the environment very quickly. adding to the mix that your friend, the one who had begged you to come with her, had disappeared completely after seeing her man, you didn't have any reason to remain in this place. so that's how you started to make your way out, after finding your friend and her telling you it was okay, since she was already planning on leaving with this guy anyways -named pedri, or something like that, his name lost in the deafening music that filled the club.

making your way towards you car after exiting the overcrowded space you spent the last two hours in, you saw a guy seated on the sidewalk curb close to the back of your car, head hidden in his palms as he anxiously picked at his hair, yanking it from time to time.

"ei, ¿estás bien?" (hey, you're okay?) you said, not speaking too loud to avoid disrupting his already altered state, but you couldn't just left him there on his own devices. maybe he was too intoxicated and he might need your help, you thought. he just nodded, not making any efforts into lifting his eyes from the pavement below him. "puedo llamar a alguien que esté dentro si lo necesitas" (i can call someone from inside if you need it) you continued, not wanting to leave him alone in the middle of the night, even if you were sure that he could deal with it perfectly fine by his own. he nodded again, but this time, offering you a gentle smile that made you warm inside, and you flushed when you felt his attentive brown eyes reach your own.

assenting with your head, and not wanting to bother the handsome stranger you had just runned upon, you made your way onto the driver side of your car and unlocked it, ready to get home as soon as possible.

"espera, ¿me puedes sacar de aquí?" (wait, can you get me out of here?) the brown haired boy asked, now standing on his feet and a hopeful look in his eyes. "¿seguro?" (you're sure?) you asked, not totally convinced since you obviously didn't know him before your recent interaction, and not sure if he was aware of what he was asking. "sí" (yes) he answered rather quickly, nodding along. he reassured, a few seconds later, "me iría solo si tuviera mí licencia de conducir" (i'd leave alone if I had my driver's license).

"de nuevo, ¿cuántos años tienes?" (again, how old are you?)

"lo suficientemente mayor como para beber y tener mí licencia de conducir, solamente no me he molestado en obtenerla aún" (old enough to drink and have my driver's license, i just haven't bothered in getting it yet) he replied, bothered that you even had to ask him if he was legal of age. of course he was, he thought, almost rolling his eyes internally at the frequency in which he was picked upon, both on and off the pitch, due to him being so you. but you weren't obligated to know him, he remembered, figuring that you wouldn't have asked him that in the first place if you knew who he was.

he was taken out of his thoughts with another question coming from you. "¿y cómo llegaste hasta aquí?" (and how did you get here in the first place?) you said, smiling at the thought of him being driven around by his parents or something along the lines. he huffed, remembering why he had been strained in the first place. "pedri, un amigo, pero lo perdí hace un tiempo" (pedri, a friend, but I lost him a while ago).

you hummed, and unlocked the car to let both of you in. after all, it was still the middle of january, so it was safe to say the weather during the night wasn't as warm as you got to experience during the summer months. "¿estás seguro de irte con una completa desconocida? no sabes ni mí nombre" (are you sure you want to leave with a complete stranger? you don't even know my name) you asked again, buckling the seatbelt and tilting your head for him to do the same. he complied with your request, while answering for the hundredth time, "y tu no sabes el mío, así que estamos empatados. ¿ya podemos terminar con las preguntas?" (and you don't know mine, so we're even. can we finish with the questions now?) gavi asked, not yet annoyed but reaching that point rapidly. he was known for being a bit hotheaded, and while he didn't take proud in the fact, he recognised when his patience was running low.

the ride back to his destination was quick and easy, a bit of small conversation to prevent the silence from turning too awkward. you didn't want to overdo it, since you had asked too many questions already and you sensed that he wasn't the talkative type. at least not the first time you met. it was endearing, really, to have crossed paths with such a nice guy, not only on the outside -soft eyes and fluffy hair, almost the perfect combination for you-, but on the inside, soft spoken and attentive. you wished you had the chance to get to know him more, past the tiredness that clouded his sight and the shyness that was holding him back.

"has llegado a destino" (you've arrived at your destination) you joked, voice robotic like the lady that gave you indications through the electronic device. he giggled a bit, and you were thankful that he had found your bad joke funny. he was about to open the door, already body turned towards the door handle, when he retracted back. "¿puedo pedir algo más?" (can i ask for one more thing?) he muttered, and you nodded shily, figuring that he would ask you to not speak this with anyone else or to forget the address, if this was truly his house.

"¿me darías tu número?" (can i get your number?) gavi's cheeks flushed pink, and it would be the cutest sight if it was better illuminated, the lamp lighting up the street doing a poor job at brightening up his features. you timidly extended your hand for him to pass you his phone, and he quickly unlocked it and gave it to you, a tiny smile adorning his face while you were too occupied typing your number correctly.

going home from what you assumed was his place turned out to be quite quick, being closer to what you had expected. you were thankful, though, because your little adventure was already weighing in your sleepy eyes. you never got inside, took off your makeup and put on comfy clothes as quickly as you did tonight, but you were truly knackered. you were so tired you almost forgot to plug your phone to charge, and if it wasn't for the way the screen lightened up with a new notification, you would have forgotten about it.

"¿Lo estás viendo de nuevo?" (Are you watching it again?) Pedri asks surprised making Balde's, Ansu's, Ferran's, Eric's and Torre's attention go to him as he blushed deeply

"Ya, ya" Pablo dismissed the comment

"Is he watching the new game video of his girlfriend?" He smiled proudly at that name call.

Finally after a long three months of him begging and of you denying because you were soon about to go to tour and initiating a relationship with distance wasn't the best option, but after more begging by Pablo's side and with reassurance for both sides of not letting the pretty thing you both had going on fall, you accepted being his girlfriend. You were finally his as he was yours.

That, not adding into the mix you were three years older than him, you were scared at first, it may not be much but you knew how people tended to break out a massive scandal over a small little and almost insignificative thing and you were also afraid of what could people say about it. But like I said before, Pablo dispersed all bad thoughts from your head.

You didn't care if they talked, they would always going to, no matter what; but it was yours and Pablo's relationship, not yours, Pablo's and the whole media's relationship. You learned that and whilst you were still secret to the world, all of your family and closest friends knew about you.

And while Pablo didn't liked being teased by his friends, he was now happy they were calling you his girlfriend... Because you finally were.

"Of course I am" He stated proudly "I miss her" He looked at you trying to dodge your best friend's Amanda's, nose-touching attempts

"Who would knew that the loved starboy Pablo Gavi was gonna be head over heels for Y/N Y/L/N?" Ansu jokes

"Cállate" (Shut up) Pablo said making the guys laugh

You were in the US for your leg of the tour of your second studio album "Comparación" but that also meant you had to do a lot of press tour and didn't have a lot of time to facetime with your four months boyfriend.

The one you incredibly and deeply missed by the way.

You sighed throwing yourself in the couch groaning

"I'm so tired!" You exclaimed closing your eyes

"So am I" Cristina threw herself on top of you as you groaned once more

"I'm dead"

"Who the hell will sing the high notes, now?" Amanda kept on the joke as the four of you laughed when Guillermo, your manager entered the hotel room

"Girls, good news" He exclaimed smiling but soon his smile fell with a frown looking at you and Cristina

"Keep going" She encouraged as if nothing. And it was normal for the four of you. Being together since the first year of high school you have gone through a lot together, you were basically like sisters

"I gotta get used to this" You laugh at his murmur

"What's up?" Isabella asks

"The two interviews you were supposed to do tomorrow are cancelled because one of the hosts is unaveliable and the other had a family problem, also the show of Wednesday was postponed, the scenario broke and I'm not putting you girls to dance and sing around the whole place like that" He shook his head "Which means you have five days off, we'll be here during them and then we'll head off to Los Angeles for the night two and three"

"Oh god, yes, we can rest the vocals" Amanda said

"And the body" Cristina says "I'm not over that fall of a week ago" You all laugh, your phone vibrates with a message notification of your boy and you quickly connect dots.

"Are we free?"

"What did I just say?"

"I meant it in the way that can I go to el Clásico tomorrow and come back on Thursday?" Guillermo nodded

"If you want to, yes. Thursday and before 7pm" You nod pushing Cristina off of you, you quickly grabbed your laptop and purchased the ticket.

It was a Clásico at Camp Nou and you knew how hard Pablo and the guys have been working to break their little bad luck of losing at home. Pablo was nervous and often spoke to you about it and what techniques they wanted to try out, you wanted so badly to be there, for them and for him mostly. He also wanted you there but understood your work and why you couldn't go.

But now, these news fell like a glove. You could surprise him and support him from the stands.

"All done?" He asked as you closed your laptop

"¡Hostias, que quiero ver a mi chico, tengo dos meses sin verlo!" (Fuck, I wanna see my boy, I have two months without him!) They laughed

"I can already imagine his face" Isabella laughed as you smiled lovestruck

"So can I"

...

"Omg, look at his face" Fer, Pedro's brother was speaking to you as you laughed, it was starting El Clásico at Camp Nou and Pablo was already fouled, he had his lips in a big pout and his eyebrows furrowed deeper than always.

He was already pissing himself off and you knew that if he bottled himself up, he would at some point explode and a card (hopefully yellow) was going to be thrown at his way, even if it was better that he didn't got any.

"Although, I would pay everything I have to see his face whenever he realises you're here" You blush smiling.

People had come up to you and asked for a picture, the one you gave them to. Whenever you came to games, you always wore your Barca jersey but with your name and no number in the back. However, today you felt the need of wearing Pablo's jersey. And that you did.

You didn't cared about what anyone would say of your relationship. You only cared about what you and your boyfriend think.

The first half passed through and you were full of nervous. It was 0-0 with both teams having possibilities of winning, both of them giving their everything, fans were hyping their teams like crazy. Both teams came in after the break and the second half started.

This time, Madrid had fall asleep whilst Barcelona was thirsty over that win.

Eventually, Frenkie scored with an assist of Balde at minute 74' and the other goal came in ten minutes later by no other than your boyfriend, Pablo with an assist of Ansu.

You jumped out of your seat and hugged Fer like crazy, you were supposed to be taking care of your vocals but you didn't care, you could deal with it later, you yelled and cheered for your boy who kissed the crest over and over again, his signature celebration making you tear up from happiness.

When Pedri came up to him, hugged him and aparently told him something because after their hug Pablo's eyes racked over the whole stadium until they landed on you. He smiled jogging up towards where you were and he blew you a kiss before yelling a "¡Te quiero!"

You smiled back, blowing him a kiss too and yelled a "Y yo a tí" which had people around you "aw" a little making you blush.

At the end of the match, Pablo was ordered to give a little interview and whilst you were coming out of the seats, someone stopped you and asked you to give a little interview in which you nodded and accepted

After speaking a bit of your new album and the tipical things, the question you knew was coming finally came.

"Gavi te ha dedicado su gol, ¿Hay algo entre ustedes dos? ¿Algo que quieran decir?" (Gavi has dedicated his goal to you, is there something between you two? Anything you want to say?)

"Bueno, nada... Que él es mi chico estrella y estoy muy orgullosa y contenta de su increíble particpación esta noche. El equipo estuvo increíble y pues se merecen esta victoria. Muchas gracias, que tengan buenas noches" (Well, nothing... That he is my starboy and I am very proud and happy of his incredible participation tonight. The team was incredible and they deserve this win. Thank you very much, have a good night)

You smiled and left without saying anything else, you were looking for Gavi and when you finally did you heard something that made you smile and fall in love with him once again

"Gavi uno de los dos goleadores de esta noche, felicitaciones" (Gavi one of the two scorers tonight, congratulations)

"Thank you"

"Hemos visto algo un poco inusual, después de tú celebración has corrido hacia el área de los familiares, Y/N Y/L/N, cantante de Zodiaco, ha estado ahí y le has dedicado tú gol... ¿Algo que decir al respecto?" Sean bienvenidos, japonistasarqueológicos, a una nueva entrega de arqueología nipona, una vez dicho esto pónganse cómodos qué empezamos. - Nos volvemos a trasladar a la prehistoria japonesa que, cada día, nos sorprende con un nuevo hallazgo arqueológico. Las ruinas de Yoshinogari, datan del periodo Yayoi(III-IV) pero en este caso del Yayoi tardío y se localizan en la prefectura de Saga¿Cuándo llegó el arroz a japón? Y¿por dónde llegó? Hay dos teorías: una que llegó de china y la otra desde Corea hasta la isla de Kyushu a través del mar de Ariake. El enorme asentamiento está rodeado por tres fosos y es la raíz de los castillos en Japón, ha sido seleccionado como uno de los 100 castillos más famosos de Japón. - En el periodo Yayoi, se caracteriza porque es cuando aparecen las clases guerras y las clases dirigentes a raíz de la acumulación de poder, esto corresponde a los jefes locales, por ejemplo: La residencia de la clase dominante en el recinto interior sur, no confundir con realeza japonesa, hay que recordar que a los poblados se les instalaba un punto religioso, por aquella época predominaba el Sintoismo como: es el caso del santuario principal construido en el recinto interior norte. - El yacimiento cuenta con atalaya del recinto interior sur, de carácter defectivo, al sur se encuentra el pueblo con viviendas tipo foso y almacenes para guardar el arroz rojo que era el que se cultivaba en aquella época y en la ciudad de Karatsu, también en la prefectura de Saga, se encuentran las ruinas de Nabatake, las ruinas de cultivo de arroz más antiguas de Japón. - Durante el periodo Yayoi y Kofun tuvieron lugar una serie de migraciones desde la península de corea, esto trajo consigo que las poblaciones coreanas y japonesas de la zona se mezclaran generando mestizos, además de transmitir sus conocimientos de la agricultura. - Espero que os haya gustado y nos vemos en próximas publicaciones, que pasen una buena semana.
