A "second part" of the previous post, in which I showed the lantern I had created in 3D. This is a photo of the lantern I crafted out of paper and LED candle light, and then I drew the Huli Jing (more well known as Kitsune to the general public) on it. The lantern's red-yellow glow symbolizes wisdom, luck, prosperity, and wealth in many Asian cultures, while the Huli Jing's warm glow complements the overall cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

Green Lanterns (Affectionate)

Do you think that Green Lanterns need to be fundamentally changed due to issues with cops in real life? Personally, I don’t think it’s needed, given the prominent theme of the last 15 years about how much the Guardians suck for militarising the Corps instead of just using their cosmic powers and technology to solve problems directly and peacefully. And the Corps never really seemed to operate like a real police force to me anyway, but I’m still curious as to your opinion.

Both current GL books are dealing with the “so...are they just cops?” question in their own ways and doing interesting things with it, so I don’t think the concept’s by any means unsalvageable, but in the future I think it’d be simpler and more effective to strip out a lot of the dicier stuff and keep it as a bunch of superheroic space rangers chosen by science-magic jewelry to do good.

Most of earth's Lanterns (alpha and beta?) becoming protective of the young omega Lantern. I can just see Bruce being beside himself when he finds out. If Jason ever comes out of his catatonic state and wanting to go after Bruce for being replaced, the other Lanterns helping work through his feelings. I just see Hal, Guy, and John, willing to go toe to toe with Bruce about it. Essentially, I just love the idea of omega Jason in space. 😅

1) Okay, this is going to be weird since I just sent an ask, but this has been on my mind for a little while too. What if omega Jason wasn't found by Talia and the League of Shadows, but found by the Lanterns after his revival? Like a Lantern (Green, Blue, or Star Sapphire) died and the ring went to a catatonic Jason in Gotham? (Potentially the first omega Lantern) The Lnaterns find him, not realizing he is Batman's kid, and take him in and try to help him heal. I can't help but picture most of

I don’t know much about the Green Lanterns, but I am all for Jason leaving the Earth and finding his own path away from Gotham. 

I always imagined, though, that it would be Dick who got the ring and becoming the heart-throb of the GalaxyXD

But say - Dick got the ring, and he went to doo the Lanterning - except, once he got to their main base-planet he discovered that there was a boy living there, one the Lanterns picked up on Earth - hurt, brain-damaged, barely breathing - and tried to heal. It worked in about 50%

Dick can’t believe his own eyes, but Jason is really there, living on Oa, alive. How... what? He’s overjoyed and he’s super mad at the Lanterns for never letting them know - Bruce fell apart after Jason’s death, the family mourned the boy! What the fuck, Jordan!!   

Hal is unrepentant. It was his decision not to tell the Bat - because B already got the kid dead once and now he was playing with another one already, and how many more of them will have to die before Batman stops? Jason dug himself out of a grave, he’s still brain-damaged and plagued by nightmares, and how is Hal supposed to give him back to the man who can’t even contain the madman that murdered the kid?! Hal already offered to lock Joker up in a super prison a galaxy over, but no, Batman insists on keeping him in Arkham and the clown keeps escaping! It’s madness! He won’t send a defenseless, damaged omega back there! 

Dick is conflicted, because Jay really looks happy living on Oa - as much as he can express it. People seem to like him, everyone he comes across is friendly and caring, almost as if Jason was a mascot of the Green Corps. They care for him and... well, what can Gotham offer Jason now? With his mind in tatters, he will be house-bound or, even worse, end up in an institution, because Bruce won’t have the time to care for him and Alfred isn’t getting any younger. On Oa at least he can move around unhindered and pursue his interests, because Lanterns somehow understand his needs and can protect him. 

And Hal was right, Dick also wanted Jay as far away from the Joker as possible. A beautiful omega with an alluring body and little understanding of the world around him - Dick wanted to keep him away from Earth, period! :O
