💜 Get to know me 💜
I figured this is a little overdue. I just wanted to introduce myself a little:
The personal real life things:
My name is Elizabeth, and I'm 27. (Old for the fanfiction writing world to some, the perfect age to others.) My friends call me Liz. I've been reading fanfiction since the dark day of Quizilla, and I've been writing it since high school, so over 10 years.
It started with me writing it for my friends and adding them into stories to allow them to live out their fantasies with characters they loved and adored. After a pretty serious car accident that left me bedridden for over a month last year, I started writing it for me for escapism. The number of stories hidden in my Google Drive is insane, lovelies.
I recently started posting due to my pregnancy, which, according to my partner, only happened because I wouldn't stop reading fairyporn, on here and in books. Fairyporn he now also reads (blows on nails before cleaning them on my shirt.) Due to pregnancy, I've been home more after making the choice to switch my hours at work to allow us to adapt and prep for the arrival of our little.

Rules regarding smut
✔️ I will not write smut for characters who are underage in the universe they reside in. Meaning, I won't be feeding the Percy Jackson lovers, Harry Potter Lovers, or some cannon GOT/HOTD lovers smut. I am personally uncomfortable aging up characters for the sole purpose of making a smut scene for them. I do not care if the actor playing them was 18+. Daniel Radcliffe may have been 22 in the last Harry Potter film, but Harry was 17 at the beginning. I am more than happy to do romance with underage characters, though.
✔️ I do not have many kinks I consider hard boundaries, but I will not write water sports, scat play, or anything of that nature. Most other things are fair game. I am active in the kink scene, lovelies. If I haven't played with a kink you'd like written, I have a friend who probably has and will help me. Season 1, episodes 1-6
I forgot how good the writing and animation are in the first season, like they truly thrived under aniplex😔 the brief white blood period in I think season 3 shows us just how good we had it
I love seeing Hawk and Meliodas's relationship, and his star Boar earring😭 plus having the Boar hat as the main location is just so comforting !!
Also I JUST realized his name is hawk because of a ham hok😭😭 this is like when I realized toe mater's name was tomato at the ripe age of 18
I miss the holy knights being powerful. Like I get that the Sins are always more powerful than them, had a long way to go in terms of power ups, and meliodas straight up had most of his power sealed but like DAMN. They were so cool in season 1 !! Gil was such a badass😭 I guess I just wish that the holy knights powered up along with the Sins
Seeing the very first episode got me thinking about the original pilot Manga (chapter 0) and how cool it might have been !! Like I love the story we got, but I do think those versions of Mel and Elizabeth maybe would have been better than the ones we got😳 like I just really like Meli's original design, I feel like he looks a bit older, and chapter 0 Elizabeth is simply superior ngl. She's funny, brave, and assertive - a lot more like Liz and goddess Elizabeth, except funnier
The first half of season 1 has one of my fave intro and outros like damn I forgot how fucking cool they were. Some of my fave songs to !! (my all time fave is def howling from season 3 part 2 (i think lol) tho)

Everytime the fiddle (?) Music plays I get SO FUCKING HYPED BRO like damn Ik it's through all the seasonal and I'm so glad it is because it's rlly the perfect hype song - here it is on Spotify
Also Gil is such a badass in early episodes, I love his strength !! This moment is the fucking coolest and you can't convince me otherwise
Overall, I think the attention to detail is just better, the sounds the armor makes, the animation and drawings (esp background characters), Meliodas just sounds a bit older too (and I have theories on his voice here if u want them 👀)
The whole perv thing is really exhausting really quickly. Almost surprised 14 year old me made it through this as the 2nd anime I ever watched and the 1st I watched alone
I feel like Diane got shorter through the seasons. Like she doesn't compare to Hawk Mama like she did in season 1, and I think that's a damn shame. Let my giant girl be giant !!
She's also a decent bit more violent and I enjoy that thoroughly. She's just a silly goofy kween😌
Also her original costume is superior, her boots are just👌
Just realized that Meliodas was like an older brother/mentor to Gil and now they're brothers in law 😭😭
Also young Elizabeth and Gil are so cute😭 I always forget that they grew up together too

Okay SO in episode 5, when Ban is about to get his scar from the dragon handle sword, he tells Meliodas "you and me have been hanging together for a lot of years now." This scene takes place 12 years before present (bp). Does this mean Ban and Meliodas were friends before the formation of the Sins? Or was Ban the first after him and Merlin? Ban has been immortal 20 years BP, leaving 8 years in between present and the flashback. 8 years before this scene, Meliodas was still in Danafal/Danfor and would be for another 4 years. What does any of this mean? Idk, just thot it was intriguing lol.
Also how did I not notice this is the first time we see demon!Meliodas !! Baby's first sighting as an unnatural creature with otherworldly rage🥰🥰
Also the fact we never see the scar Gil gave him again lol. Plus him presumably needing to do demon mode so hellfire can heal him is actually rlly cool
Just thought about how Elizabeth laying her hand on his chest to check the scar was the first time in years his love touches him with gentleness or concern🥲🥲
The fact that it took me 6 years to realize that when Meliodas says he'll keep the promise he made to Elizabeth, even if she should die is referencing the promise he made to her originally to break their curses🥲😬😤😭😭😭😭
6'11 Ban thinking that he even had a chance in fitting in Jericho's armor is just so... him
Diane calling Elizabeth kiddo is so fucking cute🥺
Also they definitely get away with a lot more innuendos and swears. The words badass and foreplay in the same episode? Impressive

calibree for the ask meme! 1, 6, 17
Ahhhh thank you for asking! Sorry it took me super long to get back to you. Though the d&d campaign that Calabree was a part of ended a few years ago now, she just recently showed up again as an NPC in my playgroup's current campaign, so she has been on my mind. (Thanks @wymanthewalrus for reprising her!)
1. What drives them? What is their ultimate goal?
Calabree thinks a lot about power. She is an "I would be a good benevolent dictator" type. She is extremely self-assured and would say something like "Absolute power might corrupt you absolutely. Not me though. I'm built different." Her ethical code considers mostly equitable outcomes, not fair rules and processes, which also enables her to be a "steal from the rich to give to the poor" type. She grew up feeling really disempowered due to a prodigy younger sibling who was clearly the family favorite, leading to her decision to run away from home and take matters into her own hands to find a community to lead, somewhere where she can be admired. And she does want to genuinely do good and help people and make the world better, which can conflict with her inexperience, but the admiration is a big part of what she wants. There is a fundamental misunderstanding she has, where she seeks leadership positions because it will finally give her the power she needs to help others, but in reality it's the reverse; people become respected leaders over time by consistently helping others.
6. How have they changed in the last year? The last 5 years?
I'm a little bolder with a wider range of ages of my characters now, but when I made Calabree, I made her my own age, and I was 21 at the time. So a lot of how she's changed has been, broadly, coming of age! She had some early, fumbling attempts at sexual relationships, she's left home for the first time, and she's taking her first real for-pay jobs. She's learning to discern who is worth looking up to and who doesn't deserve their station. In this way, of course I see myself in her! More concretely, her relationship with religion has also changed. Gods played a very large role in the campaign in which I played Calabree, they were among the most important recurring NPCs, and though Calabree didn't grow up with a traditional pantheon, she became interested in appeasing the ones she met, getting on their good side, as part of her wider plans toward acquiring power.
17. They're crying, what did it take to make them cry?
There are a few patterns among the characters that I seem to always like to make, things that appear again and again. One of the big ones is denialism. I really like to play a character who maybe knows something deep down, but will not face it head on. For Calabree, this manifests as a kind of unearned confidence. She is very sure of herself. You may recognize this trait in my character Liz, from our Dragon Heist game, too! (this denialism is in my OC Yulia, too, though it manifests in a different way and I can't talk about it without spoiling some ppl for our ongoing d&d game)! I find it is simultaneously a source of comedy (funny for Calabree to punch above her weight) and dramatic irony/tension (I know she's being dumb even if she doesn't know it herself). What makes Calabree cry is being ripped from that fantasy of her own competence, especially if she has been played or manipulated by someone else (and she's a low INT sort of character, so this happens with some regularity). She's got strong bodily awareness, so she'll feel her throat tighten and her face flush with the embarrassment of suddenly realizing she's deeply out of her depth and it'll only compound itself and make her feel even more out of control, which makes her want to cry more.

alright. bugsnax charas if they were in a fantasy setting. (hint : theyre the same but can set themselves on fire easier) (also im going on dnd lite ideas since i technically never played and the only fantasy games ive playwed was wow as a kid and dragon age)
journalist character, from the vague vibes i get from them in canon and from fanon... rogue. being sneaky and having lockpicking skills would be good for journalism.

I’m unsure on whether Beffica would be anything in particular - prob a rogue but idr if she had an occupation in canon so ?? lol

Floofty magic scientist of course. initially i was like “magic scientist would be silly” but then I remembered medusa from soul eater and i was like ohh ya that would make sense. you can be a scientist and a mage
maybe Shelda has magic im not sure. I think the idea of her being a fake wizard would be a bit funny, though.

Plot Summary: When a ship is attacked in the Pacific during WWII, a young marine and an “old maid” doctor are the sole survivors. They find their way to an island and settle in, waiting for rescue. Feelings between the two ignite, despite the age difference, and a romance begins. What will happen when a third person arrives on the island, though?
My Rating (out of five stars): *½
Wow. Wow wow wow. And Wow. This is without doubt the worst film of the project so far. Everything about it was bad- the script, the story, the acting, the special effects... it was just baaaad. I went in knowing this wasn’t a highly rated film, but I love the gorgeous Linda Darnell, and Tab Hunter looked dreamy and adorable in the pictures I saw beforehand. I thought I could enjoy watching them, even if the story sucked. Yeah, no. Where to even begin?
The Good:
Ahhhh.... Oh, here’s something! Linda Darnell was the alluring object of love/sex, and she wasn’t a twig. In most Hollywood circles she would have been considered too “fat.” I loved that she got to be gorgeous and desirable just the way she was.
Linda Darnell’s character was also a successful surgeon. And if my surgeon looked like that, I wouldn’t need anesthesia! I would just swoon.
A real veteran who lost his arm in the war played a pilot in the film who had to have his arm amputated. I loved that they used a real amputee in the role. And he was a good actor! Better than Tab Hunter, that’s for sure.
The Bad:
I need to switch into a running commentary here!
“OMG, this is so bad, I love it.”
“Oh no- Hunter’s character is so dumb and whiny- he's not going to be a romantic lead, is he?”
“These special effects are insanely bad.”
"Hunter's acting is insanely bad." (No offense! It was his first film, I think.)
“How is Darnell wearing so much make-up after surviving a sinking ship and floating at sea on a raft for days?”
“Oh god, I feel sorry for Linda Darnell. This is just embarrassing. How did she accept this role?”
“Is she supposed to be speaking with an English accent? About every fifth word there's a trace of ‘caaan’t’ and ‘daaance.’”
“WTF?!!! A backstory of a white guy who killed himself over the native girl he loved? He looked 50, and she was a teenager!”
“This is not ‘so bad I love it,” it’s just bad. And I feel sorry for Linda Darnell!”
“Hahahahaha! They just used an iguana with a model set and rear-projection to create a humongous 'fearsome' dragon monster!”
“What is in Tab Hunter's shorts?”
“This is like a bad mixture of The Swiss Family Robinson, a Harlequin Romance Novel, and porn-ish erotica. Without anything remotely erotic.”
“Hahahahahaha! He just got into a knife fight with a shark! And I don’t mean the West Side Story kind of shark!”
“He’s a kid! He’s a sunburned kid! Why are you making out with him?”
“This is an island in a movie, so get out your bingo cards: Bananas? Check. Melons? Check. Coconut-like things? Check. Wild pigs? Check. Fish? Check. Palm trees? Check. Hill for a smoke signal? Check. Mysteriously disappeared natives? Check... ”
Finally let’s end on a few quotes from the movie. First, via Darnell's character, Dr. Liz:
“An old maid doesn’t expect to be loved, just laughed at. We’re suspicious and afraid... we’re jokes.” (Darnell is barely 30 here, I think!)
“He fished a dowdy thing out of the sea, a sourpuss who never had time to laugh or play... or love.”
And, lastly this, from a rescuer when he gets a look at her:
"Well, this is an even greater pleasure than we anticipated! You know, oddly enough, we pictured you as... pardon the expression... a weather-beaten old war horse."

i enjoy the dragon ages, and @aladycalledkatie enjoys watching other people play video games
ithe tl;dr of this is we’re already through the human noble origin, ostagar, and lothering, and halfway through romancing alistair (because i know what my sister enjoys, as i said)

console gaming is great because you always know that if you buy a game you know that your console will be able to run it. i only run into problems when i come across a game that's not available on my console and i need to figure out if my mid-range laptop will be able to run it. and no, i don't understand system requirements no matter how hard i try. send help.

Jeniferl has not been able to swim in her childhood because she wasn't allowed go outside. that's why she can't swim
She find it hard to tie her hair. So with Rowan's help, she ties Jeniferl's hair everyday. Rowan likes it since they can bond together
Despite being blue, her eyes are said to make one shiver once you look at it. Because of this rumor, everyone believes even herself.This is why Jeniferl tries to wear the only shades that she owns to cover her eyes.
Her eyes glows sometimes when she uses too much magical powers and sometimes she loses herself. her shades prevent others to notice the glow.
