the fallout t.v. show was sooo good and it really makes me want to play the games again but idk what one
#i've owned but never played fnv and apparently it's the most superior and i've always meant to#but i put a lot of time into fo4 and have nostalgia desire to play it esp since i never finished it#but i do recall the things that bugged me about it but i do wanna enjoy the things i liked about it#but fnv i guess has the better story and politics //#idk i wanna get in but there's also the whole modding situation by which i mean there's a lot i would have to learn and DL and all that ugh#it takes so long. and i STILL need to play phantom liberty which is taking me so long bc i'm insane and am trying to do a completionist run#for SOME reason i have no idea they can get so tedious. ugh anyways for the true fallout fans esp fnv send tips and thots#liz's gamer problems

I want to write a book called “your character dies in the woods” that details all the pitfalls and dangers of being out on the road & in the wild for people without outdoors/wilderness experience bc I cannot keep reading narratives brush over life threatening conditions like nothing is happening.
I just read a book by one of my favorite authors whose plots are essentially airtight, but the MC was walking on a country road on a cold winter night and she was knocked down and fell into a drainage ditch covered in ice, broke through and got covered in icy mud and water.
Then she had a “miserable” 3 more miles to walk to the inn.
Babes she would not MAKE it to that inn.
