Did you know that when snakes are about to shed their eyes get all cloudy and often take on a blueish tint? That's why snakes about to shed are called "in blue"!

It's best not to handle them during this time, as not only is it often scary to be unexpectedly picked up, they can't see what's going on or where they are. They also need that energy to take on the task of shedding, which is a lot of work!

One way some snarents help make this time less scary is through regularly talking to their snakes while raising them and building a positive association- that way, even though their snake is partially blind for a few days they can hear their caretaker's voice and can feel safe knowing that big shadow isn't a scary predator - they recognize the voice of their protector! <3

shen qingqiu: brings his phone in so that he can spectate on (and occasionally participate in) Twitter thread arguments

shang qinghua: the type to have to shed any and all clothing in order to take a shit

liu mingyan: she’s reading whatever the cqms version of AO3 is

liu qingge: always sits down while using the loo and wills the piss/shit to leave his body as fast as possible.

mobei jun: has one of those little stools to help u shit better

luo binghe: tries to come into the bathroom when sqq is in there. asks sqq to come in when he’s using the toilet. (would let sqq piss on him)

yue qingyuan: reads scrolls on the loo. has a little wooden cabinet full of scrolls next to the loo. generally loves chilling while he sits on the loo.

mu qingfang: has fallen asleep on the loo

Hmm... I might have to break up the walk by expansion over a few days. I'm not even done with the HW areas and it's already been 5 hours. (Mind, that's adding in the ARR zones. HW took me a little less than 3 hours so far)

Unless people want to make it an all day ordeal, but I wouldn't want to do that to y'all unless you're willing to hike all day. xD

I could have probably shaved off a bit of time if I avoided the Dravanian roadtrip entirely, since there's no straight shot through Churning Mists to Idyllshire/Drav. Hinterlands.

Could also shave off time going through the Hinterlands exit to Coerthas. We'd just have to use flying mounts for a sec to get to it.

Boy, route planning is a whole process. xD

Got tired of being on my computer/phone all day every day and pulled out a bunch of mini rubber animals I’ve collected over the years. Made a great little set for them out of some random blank pieces of paper, a sheet of wax paper, lots of sticky notes, scissors, some random other stuff I had on my desk for elevation purposes, some comic markers I got for class, and a single piece of tape. Honestly it’s one of the most fun things I’ve done on my own in a while. I highly recommend.

Ok. Made it to school (only? 35 minutes late). Now all I have to do is get out of the car and walk up all the stairs.
