i remember that my first ever fictional crush was josh pinto from the a-z mystery series solely because he was ginger and i was also ginger and, including me, there were only two gingers in my elementary school grade ijhugyfgyhui

then there's also timothy mcgee from ncis. in my defense, tho, he / ncis was my coping mechanism for my parents' divorce and i am Slightly ashamed of that still stand by him being the Best ncis character but. i have. Issues. with that show sooooooo and okay that was when i was a sophomore in high school so.

i think i went through a couple week phase where i had a crush on one of the twins from suite life of deck solely because i grew up without cable so watching those shows was like. a grandparents' / friends' house thing. it didn't last long. like. at all. and i have Very Embarrassed by it jiuhgfcghu

wait omg no in elementary school i definitely had a fictional crush on keith watson from the electric company... now had i known that being bisexual was a thing and knew that women liking women was a thing, i 100000% would have had a fictional crush on lisa heffenbacher. love her. so, a Little ashamed of the keith one, but not Entirely. completely Unashamed of the lisa one tho

i mean ron weasley was a major fictional crush but i will Not be embarrassed by that. j.kr should be embarrassed because she sucks.

obviously i had the biggest fictional crush on cole ninjago and i feel absolutely no shame or embarrassment. like this answer specifically does not answer your question, but it is important to me <3

Maybe it’s just her first name that gives me this idea but Jewish!Gilda is a headcanon someone should do something with. Nothing in canon suggests otherwise as far as I know and it would make a lot of sense/be super cool. As for the fact that Flip isn’t a Jewish surname afaik, I have a headcanon for that too. Her family’s surname was something much more obscure and unpronounceable back in “the Old Country” or whatever and Flip is the most sense the immigration officials could make of it.

Also, maybe it’s because I want at least one Jew on each side (but I’m not about to start headcanoning everyone on the show Jewish unless there’s at least some potential evidence) but unless there’s any distinct reason as to why she couldn’t be, Jewish!Lisa is also an interesting thing I think should be explored. I hate to go back to the names for my reasoning but, while I don’t know anyone irl/on this Earth with the last name Heffenbacher, -bacher is not only a common name ending but a common surname among certain sorts of German/Central European Jews. Also, I know this isn’t a reason why she has to be Jewish but it's a cool headcanon that Lisa’s Revolutionary ancestor Cordelia Heffenbacher was one of the many heroic Jews of the American Revolution like “financier of the Revolution” Haym Salomon, politician/soldier Francis Salvador and heroic rabbi Gershom Seixas among others.

Future Pt. 4: Lisa had intended to go into science. She really had. But when a friend needed help directing a short film, it sent her down the path of screenwriting. While she hasn't worked on a big film yet, she's very popular at the indie film festivals.
