So much for sleep! I sort of had a feeling we'd get an update soon, but I wasn't expecting to see the notif right as I was putting things away for the night and lying down! JoJo, our goddess, I swear she never sleeps!
Anyways! I have THOUGHTS!
First of all, I'm glad we get to find out about the letters' contents! Four's age is showing with him complaining about having chores when he gets home, and Twilight really just is a kid in his twenties wanting to enjoy shopping at a discount, huh? Contrast that to Warriors being the mature financier of their recent inn stay (and nobody believing him despite some of them being right there to see it) and I suppose it really shows us who's where in the age line up, huh?

JoJo really said "let them be children!" and allowed this trio of terrors to start climbing crap like gremlins
and then get scolded by the mature adult of the group
Honestly, Warriors really is stepping into the shoes of a leader in this group, more so, i dare say, than we've actually seen Time do! No dissing on Time here, but Warriors is the one giving plans, guidence, and settling major issues, it's just that Time has the age and big voice so everyone's looking at him. i feel like that might change in future though, since our Old Man has made his priorities clear recently (his kid comes before the mission)
Speaking of Time, I see those Shade references, Twilight!
He is basically handing the old man ammunition to use against him in the future (now imagining Shade quoting him on purpose when the time comes)
That said, there's a tension here I wasn't expecting, but it makes sense! time is worried for his kid, and seeing the natural inclinations of a hero in someone he cares about... he's getting a taste of what it is to be in the shoes of all those he loves: watching the hero suffer and hurt because of duty, devotion and his own choices. I feel like this is building up to something. Maybe Time is going to try and "save" some of these boys from the fate of their legacy? protect them from being a hero so they can be people? Is that what's going to send him to the fate of becoming Shade?
Anyways, that's it for theories so far. I have a few things I wanted to love on before I end this though!
They are horse girls your honor! (althoughl Wars, hunny, that ain't how you lead a horse, especially not one that big and clearly excited!)
Twilight being confused that a "lady" is waiting on him (we all now a tiny part of him was hoping for Midna)
Four being the emotionally competent hero who knows when to push and make sure everyone's okay (FOUR IS BALANCE PERSONIFIED, FIGHT ME!!!)
he's also adorable (did I mention he's really just a kid?)
and lastly! obligatory Legend appreciation!

Maybe I'm reading too into it, but that's not the phrasing a mentally well person uses. Especially after almost dying and having to be pep talked into fighting back. I don't want to necessarily just to the 'oh he's suicidal' but I think it's the best way to put it.
Here are some moments from back in Sunset pt6
We've seen multiple times that Twilight is very stubborn, so why wouldn't he want to fight back more?
Sunset pt13
'I'm not afraid to die'. Once again, not really normal thing to say when you're actively dying. And the way he says it is in such a way that you can almost assume this isn't a new thought to him.
Back to the Twilight is very stubborn point, why is he not fighting back more? Why is he so ready to accept dying at this point? I really do think this is he still has those underlying thoughts from the end of his adventure.
And then there's Time's comment in Sunset p14. Even Time can see that there's an internal struggle with Twilight. He definitely still has some baggage from the end of his adventure. Anytime there's mentions of mirrors or companions or anything of that he gets really somber/distracted about it.

I don't think he was ever at the point of wanting to take himself out yk? But I do think it was a he was just kinda hoping something else would do it for him. Even then I don't think he was fully committed to the idea either because like he said 'what would colin and the others say?'

Alright! I wanna play around!
Who's handwriting is whose?
Obviously, Warriors is the forth one down because JoJo said so.
Time would be first because he was the one who hauled Twilight to the inn in the first place.
Four and Hyrule were the ones to follow Time while the rest were out fighting monsters, so I'm going to guess Hyrule is second and Four is third (which if I'm right implies that Four waited to sign in so Hyrule could get to Twilight faster)
But after that?
There's nine names, which is kinda weird? I'm pretty sure Twi didn't have it in him to write his name down? But whatever, maybe he did?
I'd assume Wild's name is last, since he was the last to arrive, but I think the last has to be Twilight's actually. Wild and Legend have the same Hylian, so whichever two match in form (although not penmanship) would be theirs; six and eight. You can see that line two is the same as those ones though, so we can only assume that Hyrule uses the same Hylian; Old Hylian (from his time) since there's no official written Hylian for the 1986 game. Since Legend arrived before Wild, I think his name must be the sixth one, and Wild's the eighth. And since Sky and Legend arrived together, that would make him the seventh in the lineup, meaning, by process of elimination, that Wind is fifth!
So I guess the order is
Time
Hyrule
Four
Warriors
Wind
Legend
Sky
Wild
Twilight (why the crap did you sign later, Twi?)

doesn't exactly talks what was having him a little down moments ago, but at least it seems to calm them, again, they shouldn't be worried after what happened
