#those poofy skirts are very effective at hiding their lack of hips #don't need leg game when you're in a floofy ballroom gown #i mean. it would be nice if yall had leg game. get some quads up in there. maybe even some thick calves . perchance #i need thick muscled olivine revealing his glass slippers from under his skirt #his legs are LORGE and he's wearing his pretty lil stockings and walking in his heels perfectly #he practiced a lot! and now he's an expert 😊 i'm proud of him #meanwhile i want dante to try heels before wobbling and ... well #depending on whether someone witnesses him wobbling his reaction may differ #if there are witnesses he will stubbornly swear to master the high heels. if no one sees....#maybe he'll just swap out for a functional pair of boots. like quincy. i'm torn about quincy #one half of me wants quincy wearing the ugliest dirtiest most worndown boots under his new spotless dress #the other half is like YOU'RE GOING TO COMMIT. MOUNTAIN MAN #at first i tried making everyone's hair match the original princesses they're cosplaying as (so everyone had much longer hair)#but when i got to blade . it just. didn't seem right #then i started sideeyeing everyone like :/ this aint no genderbending hours...#i want yall as YOURSELVES. unmodified (mostly). just. wearing the dress is all #so i went back and changed yakuoli's hair to be closer to their OG lengths #BUT thEN i sat there staring at quincy kuya and garu #bc. come on. quincy with aurora's flowing golden curly locks. he was made for it.#topper put the wig on him and he can't be bothered to take it off (long hair can act as a nice cushiony pillow 😁)#and kuya without the sassy ponytail?? well... i guess i can let him keep that since he CAN change his appearance at will #and if garu is dressed up as rapunzel... he HAS to have long hair... that's just the Point #OK so yall in the middle can have some long manes specially formulated for this special occasion.#there was already something brewing within me when tjhey announced the silhouettes #seeing yakumo in his 🧍‍♂️ pose and regular pants...#i was feelin preemptively robbed of pretty princess yakumo and the injustice was just casually simmering in my veins day by day #then idololivine's words spurred me into action with a clear vision #and here we are now.#at about the midway point i was yelling at eiden #EIDEN YOU HAVE TOO MANY WIVES. Thoughts on prince Riko’s “perfect court” before anyone escaped Evermore ( @thefoxesraven pls remind me if it was you with the branding vs tagging idea on that insta live)

@snazzy-jas-z-is-a-fan-of came up with SO MUCH of the possible politics and family ties of this au, it was incredible to watch and I think I finally understand enough to post about it 😂 there’s a balance of power between the two branches of Evermore royalty, which balance is shifting slowly to the Moriyamas and by the end of the story belongs solely to them with Ichirou as king. I’ll try to explain it in a different post if there’s interest

(And lest we go a day without Abram angst: he does in fact get his brand and more, when he’s taken back to Evermore and Riko takes the chance to reclaim his property ‘like he should have done to begin with’.)

I’m being so ffr rn, if the show runners definitively show that Buddie is not going to happen?

I’m probably not going to be watching anymore.

I mean it when I say that they’re literally the sole reason I watched this show in the first place. I saw a billion TikTok edits of them & was like “Idek these characters I need to watch this show and see what’s going on over there.”

And like, it’s a fun show, I’m not saying it isn’t, but first responder shows are a dime a dozen. There are other shows that have queer characters and found family and wild adventures. Granted, they don’t have Buck & his bi arc, but I’d still read fanfics to get my Evan Buckley fix lol.

I don’t need them right now, I’m so down for the slow burn, will-they-won’t-they & the pining & the yearning & the build up and the GOOD foundation. I want to see Eddie figuring himself out and dealing with his repression and figuring out he’s queer (& Demi, pls God. I hope if I just say it enough, I can will it into existence somehow) before anything happens with the two of them, but if they take definitive steps to have one of them like, marry someone else or something, I think I’m gonna head out. Find me on ao3 for the rest of my days lol.

Neira - She's not a sword user exactly but while they were in Orzammar her companions insisted she get herself a proper quality melee weapon, right here, direct from Orzammar. Well crafted and durable - and enchanted by Sandal, of course!

Noya - Good old simple, reliable dagger. She keeps with her it, even after it's worn enough to not be of much use.

Lilian - Invests in a nice n proper sword after the Deep Roads. Utility is the first priority, but why not be a bit vain and make it fancy, while you're at it?

June - What's the point of a sword if it doesn't look sick and can hold magic runes?? Or, ideally, act as a staff substitute. Not like she has much use for a sword otherwise lol (except to feel cool)

i have so many thoughts and opinions on vast error's (Dreadful) writing but the main 3 issues it suffers from are power creep, character immunity and shitty pacing. none of the "action" sequences feel like action. there is never any tension because you know they'll never kill any characters off in the way that homestuck abruptly did. There is no love for side characters the way there was in hs. it just fails completely as a homestuck fancomic, but it has nothing going for it that isn't taken from homestuck.

#in terms of power creep theyve made edolon way too powerful way too fast and the IMMEDIATELY matched sestro to that level.#it literally feels like 10 yr olds roleplaying #'oooo my guy shoots your guy with a gun and you die!!' 'nooo my guy doesnt die hes uhhh gun immune!!' <- what post incursion felt like #and this is not even going into how affected by purity culture the comic is and how much that limits its scope #or the clear hatred/ignorance of half the main 12?? not even hussie did that #or the polyphobia of their quadrant system or the antisemitism of your only hooked-nose dark curly hair character being your main antag. -_-#i am saying all of this as someone who still reguarly reads and used to love vast error #also its late while im writing this and im so tired pardon my spelling mistakes 😔

my roommate cut my hair for me tonight and at first i was (secretly) sad because it is wayyyyy too short but then i realized. i literally just got the 1989 chop. like this was all meant to happen this way

#nooo bc like 😭 it is NOT her fault. it is entirely my fault #i have curly hair (maybe i should start straightening it just to fully live out the aesthetic lmao) and i made the rookie mistake of showing #her where i wanted it to fall when it was DRY #and on top of that obviously when it comes to hair cutting everyone is always doing too much #but my friend is soooo cautious and gets anxious about these things so i honestly thought she wouldn’t do enough #and would kind of ask me while doing it in increments #like last time when i had my roommate cut my hair i couldn’t even tell that she did ANYTHING #but anyway yeah she definitely went shorter than where i pointed which already was faulty in the first place because i forgot how much it #would curl up #i mean i’m actually happy because it’s been frustrating me how absolutely tangled it’s been getting so that’s a relief #but i’m mostly sad because it’s about to be halloween #and i wanted my dead ends GONE for halloween because i am being barbie. who has notoriously perfect hair!#and they definitely are but i also lost all my length #like i’m trying to tell myself it’ll grow back soon but the last time my hair was this short was maybe like two years ago #and i’ve missed my long hair so bad it was finally starting to come back #but now it’s gone again and i have to start all over ☹️ and my barbie hairstyle options are severely limited #i will probably do braided pigtails #mine

picrews love to not have an option for ginger hair. they'll include unnatural colours like green and pink and even bright red and still not include a ginger option. like all you had to do was include orange in the colours

having a fursona that looks like you or mirrors your appearance is such a foreign concept to me. i guess i just feel a disconnect from my appearance most of the time.

#i think its my hair #i always see it as limiting or hard to draw #of course when i see other black artists draw natural hair im like wow so varied and unique!#but for me i guess i dont do anything with my hair aside from leaving it out so i never wanna draw myself #my current sona only got curly hair recently #also i regularly forget i have glasses so that might be a factor
