one thing i actually really like about star stable (and wanna embrace more in my own lore building stuff in my brain) is that it doesn't actually matter at all where your character came from, just that they're on jorvik now

guys, i think the hermits are going to accidentally start a prank war again. because just like last time, a game of telephone has begun. first, false made iskall's build into ''false beans,'' her shop from the previous season. however, to give herself plausible deniability, she signs it with "love, Joel. x" due to his username, smallishbeans.

next, iskall sees this, and completely believes it. he thinks it was joel who pranked him, and as he says to pearl while showing off the sign, which he kept even after tearing the prank down, "joel gave me a kiss." in his most recent video, he pranks joel by sending him loads of anonymous messages in order to completely spam and fill his inbox, preventing him from getting any more mail, with notes such as "thinking about you. x"

of course, joel is going to have absolutely no context for this, because he didn't make the initial prank. so who is joel going to assume sent him all those messages while he was away on holiday? well, i have a guess.

I was inspired by all the moth designs for him that were created lately, I don't headcannon him as a moth tho (yet, It might change one day) but he's got some moth inspired fancy clothes!

The fluffy part of his cloak is literally the softest thing ever, he likes to snooze in it from time to time

Anyways I think I found my new favourite hermit,,,,, Wels is so chill, like I love all the chaos and stuff but his videos are so... how to phrase it? I don't know but it just feels good watching them, and his building style is also, very cool. (maybe also the fact that he's a builder makes him much more enjoyable to watch, I dunno I just don't understand the redstone stuff that much-)

I think the other funniest thing about all the current fish-related shenanigans is. if this season is nearly as long as last season we are going to get well past the point any of this fish stuff was relevant (to anyone but gem, gem fish stuff will be forever). however. this is also the early days. the ESTABLISHING days. people drew scar as an elf until the bitter end of season nine is what I’m saying. xb has been a fish for like three seasons now is what I’m saying. joe STILL has green hair from snips in most of his fanart is what I’m saying. people still give ren his season eight prosthetics from time to time is what I’m saying. doc’s design gets more and more Creature every season, is what I’m saying.

somewhere, there’s a fanartist solidifying their designs for the hermits for the first time and it’s while we’re all making them fish and in a year and a half all the new fans will be staring, baffled, going “okay and explain why pearl is a salmon again???”
