i recently read the highlanders novelisation and I liked the part where Jamie asks the Doctor when he's going to perform bloodletting on the injured Laird. because that's what makes sense to him!
cut to me googling when bloodletting fell out of practice to see if Victoria would also be a fan. turns out yes (end of the 19th century)
sometimes you have to have a silly idea and see it through to completion. plus I love love LOVE when the Doctor's companions gang up on him, and I wanted to draw J + V in their matching tartan because it was just too cute

I don't have the Character Encyclopedia unfortunately... Anyone?

This is a long shot but I’m trying to find a Doctor Who book that I had as a kid and I don’t remember anything about it except the Rose Tyler page. It’s not the Encyclopedia but it might be the Character Encyclopedia? I’m pretty sure it was just NuWho with Nine, Ten and Eleven.
I managed to find a picture of the page on Google but the website didn’t say where it was from and I have no idea how to find it. If anyone recognizes it and can help me find the book I’d be very grateful!

My headcanon is that 11 was so traumatized by not being there to protect the kids from the 456 that he vowed to protect any child he could. He saw Gwen’s plea, he found out what happened and it messed him up.
The 456 gave credence to what Harriet Jones said that one day will be a threat so severe and the Doctor won’t be there. He wasn’t, and that haunted the Doctor.

Have so much in common
Like. Just found them a lil gorgeous lost 19 year old average girl, swung around a bit in some danger, ate and left no crumbs in their cute lil leather jackets…
But also the doctor was hanging around Henrik’s, the store he met Rose at, when the snowman head fell on him.
I think Rose is still on his mind and hearts millennia later, and I think he was missing her.
Or maybe this time he was looking for a blonde because he had a craving.
