Karen has four older brothers and this is Ross! He's the second oldest and he looks rather polite and smiles a lot and when he's at work he can behave most of the time... but he really has such a foul mouth it puts Right to shame.
And Karen when she was a kid couldn't pronounce S's and they sounded like Z's. So when her brothers would be leaving for school she would say "enjoy zool" and just. Could NEVER say Ross's name correctly so he told her to just call him Oz. And it stuck but only with Karen. She's the only one to use it and no one else is allowed.

Oh my GOD okay so there's this guy who comes into the store semi-regularly. Always orders the same thing. Mid 50s looking. And OVERLY friendly, to the point where it creeps me out. He acts like he knows me outside of here, calling me stuff like "sweetheart" and whatever, To The Point where newer employees have confused him for an uncle or dad of mine, & I have to correct them like No I Have Never Seen This Man Outside Of Work
Today he came in right at open. I was out in the lobby to turn the menus on after I unlocked the door, & this dude fucking SHOULDER-CHECKED ME. In a way that would be friendly if it weren't for the fact that I DONT FUCKING KNOW HIM. It threw me Off bc I don't fucking like being touched by Most People, so like. Lmfao.
Then later he was like "you know I don't think I've ever gotten your name before" & I. I contemplated giving a fake name but he's a Regular and he's a "friendly" one so I could see him mentioning me to a different employee when I'm not there & them being confused about who that was. & him learning I gave him a fake name bc of that.
I don't want the chance of him knowing bc it rly is the "Just grin and bear it" kind of situation. He's never done anything genuinely untoward or tried flirting with me, he's just so uncomfortably FRIENDLY & I hate it. Ultimately I just try to get his drink done as quickly as possible so he'll leave, but today definitely threw me off.

maybe its because ive been working with dogs for nearly 4 years now but why in gods name do people bring their reactive dog in through the store to shop and then when the dog is barking its nut off at another dog, the owner just stands there yelling at the dog forcing him to perform a sit while still being forced to make DIRECT EYE CONTACT with the thing it’s barking at?
is it just not...common sense? to think “oh my dog is barking at something, let me MOVE MY DOG AWAY FROM THE THING IT’S BARKING AT” like how can you not figure that out by now? i dont? get it???
