#like i completely understand making a tv show about the dance. 100% best option out of all the histories. would be my first pick too

Note
If the show does go on long enough to do the anthology idea, how would you like them to handle it? Blackfyre rebelion is the most obvious point to right after, buuut I feel like that would be wee bit too similar to the Dance, on the surface level anyway. Wonder if there is a way to do Dunk and Egg stories before actually showing the rebelion.
honestly my concern about expanding house of the dragon to other targ eras (if they want to make something on the same scope/the same genre conventions as got & hotd) is purely marketing based. like from hbo's perspective. the only f&b stories i think could maybe Work As A Show would be mmaaaaybe aegon's conquest (i have gripes with this idea but it's at the very least marketable, tho iirc it already got pitched and rejected), or maegor's reign (go full gothic horror with it you COWARDS). jaehaerys' era is too longwinded and not enough big stuff happens to justify a big franchise tv show (rip rhaena desperate housewives). as much as it pains me, you really need a war! but either way, they can't exactly go... backwards in time right? how confusing would that be for 20 million casual viewers? they already had to spend like a hundred mil marketing hotd. hotd is the GOT prequel, and then hotd: the conquest or hotd: the cruel would be... the prequel to the prequel? how do you sell that or communicate the timeline clearly? it would all be under the same title so how would they differentiate the eras? idk how they would pull it off, though it's not impossible i guess
so what seems like a better root is a post-f&b story (which has the additional challenge of not having any previously fleshed out grrm lore, just some even lighter barely-there outlines)-- aegon iii's reign + the rogare crisis would be sick as hell but also wouldnt fit a prestige franchise tv show, it's just too pedestrian. daeron i + dorne is kind of anticlimactic, baelor CANNOT carry a show, etc. so i think the 1st blackfyre rebellion maybe starting with a season of aegon iv is probably the most likely (though balancing out the sides so the blackfyres arent obviously The Worst would be difficult, i feel). it would benefit from syncing up some characters with dunk and egg which iirc is already p deep in development. anything after that conflicts too much with d & e and would be better covered there, until basically robert's rebellion lol (sucks to suck, jaehaerys ii) and i dont think grrm is interested in doing a show about that even though it would probably be the biggest bang for hbo's buck. like a bajillion bajillion dollars instantly. sooooo it's kind of a bizarre situation for them and i do not envy them

I would like to request a 2012 TMNT matchup for my OC, Avery.
(It seems to me that mutagen works by joining you with whatever you last touched, so that being said...) When she met the guys, one of them had tried to push her out of the way and accidentally ended up pushing her directly into the path of mutagen. (So with that previous mutagen logic-a half human, half turtle combo with 100% human...) She's like 80% human and like 20% turtle.
Her backstory (kinda):
Avery lived with her grandpa after her parents died when she was pretty young. Her grandpa practically raised her and they were very close. He had started suffering from dementia a few years ago and when she was mutated and her grandpa saw her, he freaked out, and the dementia didn't help. So now she lives between the lair and April's. Since she's only partly turtle and mostly human, she has green skin with vitiligo and four fingers, but that's the only real difference. Her facial features changed somewhat, but if she uses enough makeup and face paint - she's able to go out in public.
More or less what she looks like:
Tumblr media
Anyways, now for her details:
She's about 5'4", has grey-blue eyes, and medium/long length dark brown hair. She really likes makeup and dresses and having her nails done, but she also doesn't mind getting down and dirty or getting covered in grease. Her favorite season is winter because she absolutely loves the snow, warm fires, sweaters, hot chocolate, and just always feeling comfy. Her favorite holiday is Halloween, though. Very into true crime and horror movies. Loves to read and draw. Not completely useless in a fight, but not very helpful either. Usually just avoids it. Not afraid to tell someone off, but doesn't usually ever have to because she basically gets along with everyone. Is a very genuine person. Typically honest, but ready enough to tell little white lies now and then. Also she really like watching baseball.
Pretty diverse with activities - cue:
Hanging out in the lab with Donnie and questioning him about what he's doing and how things works (Is actually interested, but doesn't understand half the things he says).
Video games, pranks, skateboarding, and dance parties with Mikey. (Actually her best friend).
Workouts, sneaking out, and drum sessions with Raph, even thought they both know she isn't very good.
Long talks, sci-fi binges, and training with Leo. Cue complete nerd sessions about the favorite TV shows.
Can't forget one on one hockey matches and graffiti-ing with Casey.
Or sleepovers and long needed girl time with April
Hello :) sorry for the long time I took in this ask, I'm having some medical issues and sometimes I need rest, I hope you like it anyway ♡
I'd match you with...
Leo ♡
The leader loves you!
He feels sorry for your situation with your grandpa but there isn't too much he can do
But every time you're feeling down he'll quickly prepare a cup of tea just for you guys to enjoy while chatting or just being close to one another
Obviously he feels guilty for your mutation and apologies 24/7
He's a little more relaxed when you said you were able to go out and live your normal life
He loves watching tv shows with you! Sometimes you have tiny discussions about which show you should watch
So many options!!!
He's not into horror movies
And it's not because he's afraid of them
Okay he is
But will never admit it
Actually horror movies are a good excuse to hug you whenever he's scared ;)
Being the leader and having the responsibility to take care of his younger brothers he can feel a little bit exhaust
So it's good he has such a special person at his side
He admires the fact you can easily get along with anyone
This turtle boy also loves winter! So you guys can have a special date (and by date I mean cuddling in the couch and watching Netflix)
Sometimes he'll try to tell you a joke just to make you laugh but 90% of them are terrible
Poor boy
He'll train you and teach you how to fight and defend yourself
Will try to make you meditate with him because he loves having your company
Sometimes he feels jealous of how much you and Mikey are close
But he trusts you obviously
He couldn't ask for a better partner
You're his favorite person and he'll protect you no matter what
And he'll always love you :)♡

Hope you like it ♡

A more refined and accurate version of my top 50 Albums of all time in no real order. This time I’m gonna go into some more detail for my choices.  So if you wanna read that it’ll be after the line break.
1. Graceland - Paul Simon. This is the only album I have on CD, Cassette and Vinyl. It’s honestly a perfect album. I don’t really like ‘That Was Your Mother’ on it’s own but when hearing it as part of the album it’s great.
2. Abbey Road - The Beatles. My favorite Beatles album and I love how the B-side is knows as The Abbey Road Medley. It also has Ringo’s only Drum Solo in the entire Beatles catalog and we all know Ringo is the best Beatle. I have it on Vinyl.
3. In Step - Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble. Stevie Ray Vaughan is by far my favorite guitarist of all time. Every track on this album kicks ass and he put his heart and soul into every note he played. I have it on Vinyl.
4. Brothers In Arms - Dire Straits. Over all a great little rock album. I find a lot of the songs to be comforting in their own way,  like “So Far Away” and “Brothers In Arms” are very comforting to me. I have it on Vinyl.
5. Winelight - Grover Washington Jr. By God this album is fucking Sexy, like holy shit. This is a more recent listen but I was missing out just listening to “Just the Two of Us” (Featuring Vocals by Bill Withers).
6. Watching You Watching Me - Bill Withers. Nelson George said that this album was I quote "full of little pleasures" and he’s damned right. There is not a single song on this album I don’t like, by far my favorite R&B album of all time. I have it on Vinyl.
7. Future Development - Del the Funky Homosapien. My favorite Hip Hop/Rap album ever. Del’s flows and rhymes are on point throughout the whole album.
8. Spontaneous Inventions - Bobby McFerrin. A live album that you wouldn’t think was live since there’s little to no crowd noise. A great Vocal Jazz album showcasing how Bobby McFerrin can use his voice as an instrument all it’s own. I have it on Vinyl.
9. Squeeze Box: The Complete Works of "Weird Al" Yankovic. This is kinda cheating since it’s a Box Set of every album Weird Al made and an extra album with unreleased stuff. But I can’t choose just one Weird Al album so this will have to do.
10. The Wall - Pink Floyd. This whole Album really resonates with me and helped me understand my depression after I dropped out of college. It really has a place in my life. I have it on Vinyl.
11. Kilimanjaro - The Rippingtons. A fantastic Smooth Jazz / Jazz Fusion album. I really like Jazz Fusion and this is a great example of it.  I have it on Vinyl.
12. Dreamland - Black Box. An Italo house/Eurodance album that’s my favorite in the whole house genre. Some great dance tracks on this. I have it on Vinyl.
13. Tourist in Paradise - The Rippingtons. This album came out right after Kilimanjaro and is another great example of Smooth Jazz Fusion. I have it on Vinyl.
14. Teddy Pendergrass - Teddy Pendergrass. His debut solo album and a fantastic piece of R&B. It also has the  greatest break-up song ever “I Don’t Love You Anymore”. I have it on Vinyl.
15. S.O.S - The S.O.S Band. Their first album, a disco album that came out in 1980 after disco died in the USA. Was really big in Nighclubs and is a good album aside from "S.O.S. (Reprise)" which just sucks.  I have it on Vinyl.
16. Purple Rain - Prince. This album is great. The guitar solo on “Purple Rain” is so good it could bring peace to the world.  I have it on Vinyl.
17.  Feels So Good - Chuck Mangione. A fantastic Smooth Jazz / Easy Listning. album "Hide and Seek (Ready or Not Here I Come)", “Feels So Good” and "The XIth Commandment" are just outstanding. I have it on Vinyl.
18. Elementary - Wah Wah Watson. Melvin M. Ragin’s only solo album. This is pure Jazz Funk at it’s best. I’ve used this album cover as an Icon online for years, I love it. I have it on Vinyl.
19. Rumours - Feetwood Mac. There’s only one track on this album that I don’t like and it’s "Oh Daddy”. I feel like that song just brings the whole album down emotionally. Other wise this albums pretty damn good. I have it on Vinyl.
20. Deltron 3030 - Deltron 3030. Del the Funky Homosapien, producer Dan the Automator, and DJ Kid Koala made a fantastic Hip-Hop/Rap opera Concept album. The story of a city in the dystopian year of 3030.
21. Kisses on The Bottom - Paul McCartney. I caught this at like 2am on PBS' Great Performances one night in like 2013 maybe 2014 and fell in love with it. It’s mainly songs Paul McCartney grew up listening to and he wrote 2 songs in that style and it’s great.
22. Listen to the Scatman - “Scatman” John Larkin. Did you know that Scatman John was a legit Jazz Piano player? This album is just full of fantastic jazz and one kinda out of place dance song.
23. Loop Daddy II -  Marc Rebillet. Sure this is more of an EP but I put a whole Box Set on the list so shut up. Every song is a pure sexy dance groove. I love it.
24. Places and Spaces - Donald Byrd. This is 100% Pure Trumpet Jazz-Funk. This album fucking slaps hardcore. The way Donald Byrd plays the trumpet and flugelhorn is magical.
25. Whenever You Need Somebody - Rick Astley. Not only does this album have the Meme hit "Never Gonna Give You Up" it has a very heartfelt version of "When I Fall in Love". Every song is a mad banger. I have it on Vinyl.
26. Mint Jams - Casiopea. Casiopea makes some great Japanese Jazz Funk Fusion and this is by far their best album. I love me some Jazz Funk Fusion and some of the best stuff came out of Japan in the 80′s.
27. Hi-Five Soup - The Aquabats.  A great New Wave album that kids will enjoy. The Aquabats got more child friendly since they got a kids TV show but this album does have my boy Strong Bad on it. I have it on CD
28. Myths, Legends and Other Amazing Adventures, Vol. 2 - The Aquabats. An earlier Aquabats album since it’s a bunch of unreleased stuff and B-sides. “Pizza Day” speaks to my soul. I have it on CD
29. The Dance - Dave Koz. One of the first Smooth Jazz albums I ever listened to, it really helped me get into Smooth Jazz which lead me to my love of the Smooth Jazz and Jazz-Fusion. I have it on CD
30. The Corner Grocery Store - Raffi. This is an album form my childhood. I still have my VHS bootleg of Raffi on Broadway from when I was a kid. This album has my favorite song sung by Raffi, “Anansi”.
31. Led Zeppelin 2 - Led Zeppelin. My favorite Zepplin album. “Moby Dick” is my favorite song off the album even if it’s just a big ass drum solo.  I have it on Vinyl.
32. Darkside of The Moon -  Pink Floyd. This is what I consider to be Pink Floyd’s most Jazz-Rock-Fusion oriented album. The whole albums flows together into a great soundscape. I have is on Vinyl.
33. Random Access Memories - Daft Punk. I find this to be a concept album about how Daft Punk is a pair of Robots. Part of it seems like that with the album title being a close reference to Random Access Memory aka RAM and the song title "Motherboard". A lot of the lyrics in the album make me think it has some kind of concept but that’s just me. I have this on CD
34. Thriller 25 Super Deluxe Edition - Michael Jackson.  This was the first CD I remember buying with my own money I got it at FYE. I only really listened to the songs that originally came on Thriller and not the new 2008 versions of the songs.
35. Can’t Get Enough - Barry White. This album is sexy as fuck, god be damned if you listen to this and not get turned on even slightly.
36. Larry Carlton Plays the Sound of Philadelphia. This is a great full of classic Philadelphia R&B as preformed by legendary session guitarist Larry Carton. He plays all the songs in a very Jazz like style that I just love.
37. Pure Pure - Moe Shop. A fantastic little Dance/Electronic EP. I like to call it a Future Funk EP but it’s in that vain of Vaporwave and Future Funk which are both good genres.
38. The Soundtrack to Mulan. Mulan is my favorite Disney animated movie so of course the soundtrack is on my list. I have this on cassette and it’s one of the two tapes I always listen to on long walks.
39. Every Breath You Take: The Singles - The Police. This is my other go-to cassette to listen to on long walks. This is basically the greatest hits of The Police but it’s fantastic.
40. Head Hunters - Herbie Hancock. I told you I liked Jazz-Funk Fusion right? This is perfect example of the genre made by the fantastic Jazz pianist and composer Herbie Hancock.
41. Marcos Valle - Marcos Valle (1983) Marcos Valle released a self titled album in 1970 according to Wikipedia, but I’m talking about the one from 1983. A great Brazilian Disco/Dance Bossa Nova  Samba mix album with some great dance-able tunes.
42. Homestar Runner Original Soundtrack Volume 1 (Songs, Background Music, Jingles, and Worse).
43. Homestar Runner Original Soundtrack Volume 2 (Songs, Background Music, Jingles, and Worse) .
44. Homestar Runner Original Soundtrack Volume 3 (Songs, Background Music, Jingles, and Worse) . If I could have all 3 volumes in the "HSR OST Full-On!" playlist from they would all be one entry leaving me a bit more room to play with. Plus the fact that Volume 4, a Limozeen album, a Sloshy album and a Videlectrix album are all planed for release it would help to just bundle all the Homestar Runner music together.
45. Strong Bad Sings (and Other Type Hits). This is the more “Legit”  Homestar Runner Music. I love Homestar Runner and was even featured in the 2018 Fan Costumes video so technically in a way I’m part of the Homestar Runner Cannon.
46. Fallout: New Vegas OST. My favorite Fallout game and I’d be amiss if I didn’t add the soundtrack to my list. One of my favorite games of all time even if I rarely play it.
47. Dinosaur Dracula’s Halloween & Christmas Jukebox. This is another one of those kinda cheating options since it’s two mix-tape type things. If I want to get in the Halloween or Christmas Spirit I can turn one of these Jukebox’s on and not have to worry about searching for mood music. With 100+ songs on each Jukebox I’m guaranteed good music.
48. 3 Hours of Relaxing Super Nintendo Music 1 & 2 - SNES Drunk. This is the music I turn on if I need some chill background noise or need something to fall asleep to. With a total of 6 hours of relaxing music I’m sure to fall asleep or just relax.
49. Xerf's Jazz/Fusion Mixes. So far there are 5 volumes of Japanese Jazz Fusion and like I said I like Jazz Fusion, espicaly Japanese Jazz Fusion.
50. Xerf's Jpop/AOR Mixes. There are thechinly 8 Volumes but volume 3 is just not there probbably due to copywrite. These mixes are more City Pop and older Japanese Pop, Adult-oriented rock, Funk that kinda stuff.

Cabin Fever
AN: I had 2 different prompts for a Sam & Bucky fic where Sam cheers him up, & my sad yearning ass stuck in quarantine ran with it! Hope y’all enjoy!
The world has endured many struggles, many challenges, but she will always heal. But in the time it takes to get there, it can be bad and ugly. Bucky had seen more bad than good to be honest. Born near the end of the First World War, he grew up in a post war state. Many people who he should've known had died, and those around him shared that hole. Which is why the 20's were such a breath of fresh air. Everyone wanted to party and live high, but they soared too close to the sun, and the economy crashed.
He spent his adolescent years struggling to live through the depression. It wasn't easy, nor was it pretty, and he went to bed hungry every night. But through all the shit that had been thrown his way, he had Steve. Then, more war. He was afraid and angry with what was happening, and knew something had to be done. He made some amazing friends during that time, and lost a good few. That was when he and Steve became frozen in time, the latter quite literally so.
He doesn't remember too much from his time spent as Hydra's murdering puppet. It's all flashes of pain, fear, and screams. A hand on a throat, feeling as the windpipe gave way. A finger on a trigger from a distance. A knife plunged deep into a chest. It was all him, and yet, it wasn't. It was as though he was in an empty theater strapped to a chair, being forced to watch this horrific movie play out before his own eyes. For the longest time, he had no control. He wasn't an active part of his life. And then he broke free. He managed to escape, and was wanted for his crimes. He even managed to split up the avengers, the guilt overwhelming him. If he had just stayed low, none of that would've happened.
And then those weird fucking monster things came down from space, yearning for blood and ready to destroy anything in their path. They fought good and hard, and he honestly thought they would win. The next thing he knows, he missed out on another four years of life that he won't be able to get back. His best friend in the world was now an old man, getting to live the life he had missed out on. He wasn't going to lie, that hurt. A lot.
But scattered amongst the wreckage of his life, glimpses of light shone through. His mother's warm embrace and gentle hum. Steve's bright smile and even brighter laugh. He and Natasha connected on another level that you couldn't even dream. T'Challa was understanding and a good friend to him while he was staying in Wakanda. Shuri was an actual saint, giving him a new arm and offering friendship in a dark and lonely time. He and Sam became reluctant friends, then took a shine to each other. Their sense of humor is one in the same, and they share the same taste on a lot of things. He was kind, funny, witty, compassionate, strong, the list could go on forever. And he was falling hook line and sinker. Utterly and completely head over heels.
Then just when he believed things might be looking up, the whole world shuts down. He remembers from what his mom said, there had been a pandemic in 1920. The Spanish Flu, if he remembered correctly. And now, exactly 100 years later, another pandemic rose from the ashes like the most hideous phoenix. Just when he was finally able to go out and try to live a normal life, another obstacle drops in his path. He had a whole list of things he wanted to do and places to see, and now he doesn't get to do any of that. Trapped within four walls and slowly going crazy.
He had every right to be mad. Nothing, it seems, would ever work out in his favor. And to top it all off, he was stuck with the man he wanted to kiss so badly but couldn't for fear of ruining what they had. He wanted to rip his fucking hair out.
Sam, god bless him, tried his best to keep him in good spirits. When news of covid-19 first spread, he had said, "There's still plenty of things we can do inside! I have Steve's old list of things he needed to catch up on, and I know you haven't heard of any of this stuff either, so we get to start from the top!" He excitedly pulled out the notepad, a few items down the list having been crossed off. "And the best part is, I keep remembering things I forgot to add, so we won't run out."
"Yippy," Bucky said in a flat tone. Sam nudged him with his elbow.
"Hey, there's some good stuff on here! There's tv shows, movies, and some of the greatest songs and bands of all time. You ever heard of Queen?"
"Who?"
"Oh my god you need my help," Sam said playfully, running a hand down his face. Bucky's lips quirked up ever so slightly.
At first he was okay. The constant influx of content kept him busy and his mind occupied. But he soon fell into a rut. Pacing the floor, he'd listen to his favorite songs Sam had shown him along with some new ones. Stare out the windows feeling empty, longing for society to pick up again. After watching a movie or two, he'd get fidgety and need to move about. He really enjoyed binging shows though. They sucked him into their world and wouldn't let go. Maybe because it was so different than what he had growing up. Thankfully they both knew to stay away from anything war themed or that might trigger his PTSD. But he'll be damned if he hadn't been completely obsessed with Breaking Bad.
But there were so many options, so many shows to watch that it was overwhelming. With so many things to pick, how could he choose? And out of the movies and shows, and the genres within those categories, it was simply impossible. And so he would cycle through in search of something to watch, only to come up empty handed. Things got better when he stopped trying to decide and let Sam pick for him. Sam really knew what's best.
God if he wasn't here, Bucky would actually go insane. He catches himself staring at the man even more now. Glancing out of the corner of his eye or full on staring, he just can't stop looking at him. He liked to keep his hair cut short, shaved down close to his head. His facial hair was neatly trimmed, the lines always smooth and precise and framed his mouth perfectly. His smile was so fucking bright it was almost blinding. That smile made his days better, and he tried to be less of an ass, just to see it more often. And his lips were full and soft, and he wanted so badly to be able to kiss them. His eyes were a gorgeous shade of dark chocolate, and you could get lost in them if you weren't careful. You could find yourself falling into them, deeper and deeper with no way out. Back when they were first shut in together, he remembers Sam playing the song Brown Eyed Girl. They had smiled as they listened to it, then slowly, began to dance along. That was when he knew he preferred himself a brown eyed man instead.
They were supposed to be watching some old scary movie that Sam claimed to be a classic. Had even said it was one of the most popular ones of all time, but he thought it was just plain boring and ended up watching the man beside him more than the screen. I mean, what was thrilling about a man in a hockey mask hiding in the bushes trying to kill teens? To him it was just lame, and no amount of fake blood could change that. Sam, as always, picked up on his mood.
"What, you don't like it?" Sam asked. Bucky jumped at his words and tore his eyes away from him, looking back at the movie.
"I never said that."
Sam shrugged, "Well you seem to be watching me more than the show." Bucky's face lit up a slight pink and his eyes widened slightly, not realizing he'd been caught so easily. Sam chuckled and bumped their shoulders together. "It's okay, I don't mind," he said to help ease his conscience. "But we can watch something else if you don't like it. Or we can do something else, I don't mind."
Bucky rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah I'm not really into this," he admitted.
"Alright, no problem," Sam said. "You want me to pick, or do you want to choose something?" Bucky snorted, crossing his arms.
"Seeing as you picked this shitter, maybe I should be the one to pick the next one," he teased, snatching the remote. "What was that one Disney movie you told me about? The one where dogs eat spaghetti?"
"Oh so suddenly my choices in movies are good again."
"Just shut up and tell me what it's called."
"Well I can't do both," Sam joked. Bucky's mouth hung open in a shocked smile that he tried to mask as offense.
"Just tell me the name smart ass," he demanded. Sam was fighting back his snickers as he answered, "Dogs eat spaghetti."
"Dude I know that's not it!" he cried out.
"Yeah but you don't know what it's actually called!" he laughed, having fun withholding the information.
Bucky didn't mention that he just remembered the name of the movie. Instead he steadied him with a look. "Tell me, or else," he said with a playful growl.
Sam wasn't deterred in the slightest. He puffed out his chest as he said, "Make me."
Bucky grinned, wide with a hint of evil. "Oh I plan to." And then he pounced, pinning Sam down on the couch. He immediately started squirming as soon as fingers collided with his sides. His laughter soon followed. Bucky was completely entranced.
Sam threw his head back, allowing the laughter to flow freely from his mouth. He brought his knees up to his chest in a ball as he rocked from side to side, occasionally batting Bucky's hands away. "Dahahahamnit Bahaharns!"
"You know what you have to do to make it stop," he taunted. His hands journeyed up to dig into his armpits, making his laughter jump higher.
"SHIT NO NOT THERE!" he shouted, feeling his fingers scratch at the hollows. He squeezed his eyes shut as he cackled, completely unable to make the sensations stop. Bucky had a devious idea and bent down, blowing a wet raspberry against his neck. Sam squealed before dissolving into hysterical giggles.
"Nohohoho okay! Ohohokahay, I give! Ihi'll tehehell you!" Bucky continued the tickling for a second longer before backing off to let him breathe. Sam gasped in some much needed air. "Lady and the Tramp," he admitted. "It's Lady and the Tramp."
Bucky's smirk got even wider. "I know." Sam's eyes flew open and he glared at the other man. "What?"
Bucky shrugged his shoulders, "I remembered."
"Oh you little shit!" Sam cried, smacking his arm, making him laugh. "Now it's your turn!" Bucky stopped laughing, feeling butterflies begin to flutter in his stomach.
"Huh?" As soon as the question left his lips he felt Sam's body collide with his own as he was tackled. He held his arms in front of him to shield himself, giddy giggles already bubbling up in his throat.
"You didn't think I'd let you just get away with that," Sam teased, leaning closer. Bucky subconsciously scrunched his neck.
"Actually I kinda did."
Sam smiled, hovering his hands over his stomach with wiggling fingers. "Then you deserve everything you're gonna get."
"Nohohohooo," he whined, knowing exactly what was to come. Sam made sure to keep his fingers a few inches above his stomach to keep him on edge. When he finally descended, he clawed into the muscle and vibrated his hands into the flesh. Bucky tried to hold his laughter back, he really did. But as soon as he saw the twinkle in his eyes and the goofy smile, he couldn't help the giggles that slipped out.
"Wow, you're more ticklish than you look," Sam commented. Bucky's face scrunched in confusion and embarrassment.
"Thahahank you?" It came out more as a question than a statement, and Sam had to fight the physical urge to aawww.
He moved on to his sides, squeezing up and down. His laugh became a deeper, more full sound. He grabbed onto Sam's wrists, but didn't bother pushing away. Instead it felt as though he was pulling him closer... He decided to make a mental note of that for later use.
He decided to drill his thumbs into his hips, making him buck and thrash wildly. Sam chuckled, "Is this how you got your nickname? 'Cause you buck like a wild bronco when tickled?" Bucky's cheeks grew darker at the question.
"Fuhuhuck you!" Sam gasped, never pausing in his work.
"How rude! And here I was just trying to strike up a friendly conversation!" He scratched along his waistline, drawing out mad cackles that left Bucky breathless. Sam was having the time of his life. "Who knew you could make so many sounds," he teased.
Bucky shook his head back and forth. "Juhuhust shuhut up!" Sam cocked his head to the side in a quizzical manner.
"Why? Does it make it worse?" When he didn't answer and only whined in response, Sam grinned wider. "I'll take that as a yes."
"You're sohoho mehehean!" he called out, unable to fight back, not that he really wanted to.
"Yeah? And you're cute when you blush," Sam barely realized he had even said it. It just slipped out and couldn't be taken back. Luckily the only affect his words had was darkening the already red blush. Bucky threw a hand up to hide his face as he giggled through his fingers.
"Nu uh, no hiding," Sam said, tickling under his arm and bringing it crashing down. His other hand trailed farther down, squeezing his thighs. Bucky actually screamed, his laughter hitting a whole new range. Encouraged by the new reactions, Sam brought his other hand lower. Bucky snorted when he squeezed the side of his leg, close to his knees. Sam raised his brows, an evil grin plastered on his face.
"Oh, is this a bad spot?" He skittered his fingers over his thighs, the thin sweatpants doing nothing to protect him. His eyes were squinted shut and his mouth hung open as loud laughter poured free. Sam moves to scratch the backs of Bucky's knees, making him snort once more.
"Nononono plehehehease!" Bucky pleaded.
"I'll take that as a yes," Sam chuckled. He raked his nails down the back of his knees, and Bucky practically screamed. He slammed his knees to his chest, which subsequently pushed Sam forward as well. He lost his balance and lurched towards him, catching himself by bracing his fall with his hands on each side of Bucky's head. They both froze, staring into each other's eyes. Bucky's laughter started to die down, his eyes glistening with unshed mirthful tears.
"You okay?" Sam asked, wanting to make sure he didn't go too far. Bucky nodded.
"Yeah, I'm good." Sam hadn't seen him smile like this in months, and it warmed his heart. "I, I needed that," he admitted. Sam smiled softly, the expression on his face could only be described as pure adoration.
"I'm glad to hear that." There was a beat where it was silent. And again, without thinking, Sam acted. He found himself leaning down and couldn't stop. It was as though time itself had slowed. And then in a rush, Bucky sat up and locked their lips together. They kissed for a moment before Bucky pulled away, still catching his breath.
"Still wanna watch that movie?"
Sam nodded and they cuddled next to each other on the couch. Bucky had an arm around his shoulders as Sam rested his head on his chest. The movie started. And if Sam was drawing lazy, tickly shapes into his side, Bucky didn't complain. Only would huff out a laugh every once in a while, squirming into the touch.
The earth may not be in a good place right now, but she will heal. Bucky was sure of it.

Hey we got with another episode, im excited that I have the time right now to put up a few epsidoes in a row this week.
Michael and Maria 💜
Scene goes 👽
I love how they start out in the future of 2014 LOL which would be technically our past. I do not like Liz hair in the future, but Max does look good with long hair. It's been a while since we've seen Alex Maria and Liz hanging out together. Of course Maria I would take them to a card reader fortune teller. Her name fits her well Madame Vivian.I feel sorry for Alex all he wants is Isabel and Madame Vivian us telling him exactly what Isabel told him that they only being friends. That's a total bummer It's only going to get 48 hours with Michael, that's kind of what she gets for gloating in the car about her and Michael. (Yes I know she wasn't really gloating just don't know another word for it). Of course liz prediction is happiness. SomeOne had to get a happy reading. Max with the long hair looks very mature.
Surprised that Liz doesn't believe Max the long hair. She can believe aliens but she can't believe in time travel. Max pretending to sing Spanish not too bad lip singing, mariachi band super cheesy but at least we know long hair Max telling the truth.👽 long hair Max arms look really Define intone. Tess leaving Roswell doesn't sound too bad to me. That sucks long hair Max wants Liz to help Tess and him get together (ouch that has to hurt hearing) (double ouch hearing that she has to make him fall out in love with her).
Michael's should not be kissing any other person but Maria, however I think this is part of his plan. I think Michael knew if he said no not going in the first time around she would kiss him, hens making her think the kiss made him change his mind. All part of the plan.
Of all the things to put on your wall Tes makes a z. I don't blame Kyle for not wanting to see the Witchcraft in his house. Kyle just got really turned on by Tess being pissed off and venting. I love that Tess is messing with Kyle's mind right now. Of course the doorbell will ring bad timing for Kyle. This must suck for Liz to say that she's going to help Tess and get the Max I don't blame Tess for not believing her. Me yelling at the new girl GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF MICHAEL. Michael is so good at playing her I love it. I'm surprised the new girl bought that Michael is a germaphobe. Michael is not the best at snooping around it sucks that Maria came at the wrong time it sucks that Maria and doesn't have faith in Michael that he's not doing what he thinks he's doing. It definitely doesn't look like she showered. I don't blame Michael for being frustrated right now.
I feel so bad for Liz that she has to do this this sucks like royalty sucks. She really needs to do something drastic because at this point nothing is going to make Max stop. If I didn't have such a dislike for Tess I would totally ship Tess and Max.
I really like that liz knows that she having sex until she'd 100% ready no matter how much she loves the guy. (I have to give her a big round of applause for that 👏 )[ cuz it shows us girls that it's okay not to have sex when you're in love it's okay to wait.] I love that Alex is such a consoling friend. Maria needs a hug. A part of me wants to smack Maria and tell her to stop overreacting, she needs to trust Michael.
I can definitely see them eloping depending on how the series goes.( spoiler alert I do know what happened but I won't say anything)
Max looks hot doing those pull-ups like that with no shirt on. I totally understand where liz is coming from with her speech. It sucks to hear her say it I feel bad for Max. You totally can tell he wants to cry. I like that he went to Maria for advice what to do about the whole little situation. Max and Maria friendship is hardly ever seen but I think their friendship is a good one.
This is a lot of pressure on Liz to do something drastic all that pressure should not be on one person like that. I wish Liz could tell Maria what is really going on. Maria Completely misread that whole situation now this gives Liz a good idea and how to get Max over her. And of course the only person she could ask for help would be Kyle, cuz they have dated in the past it's the only realistic option she has. I wish Kyle was more in the story I think his story night is a little weak miss when he's not around. Kyle is such a good friend for helping out the way that he is.
Michael eating hot sauce in his cereal cracks me up I don't know why it's funny but it just looks funny on TV. I love how Alex just walks into my apartment without even being asked to come in, hen so mad at Michael for hurting his friend Maria. Burst out laughing when Alex hits Michael only because Michael doesn't expect it. Michael is Right Alex did just risked his life for Maria by hitting him but he's also grateful that Maria has someone like Alex who would stand up for her like. Courtney is really making a mess of everything yes that is her name not new girl anymore we found out what her name is. This Kiss is like a kiss that he's drawn to her for some reason, unexplainable. Cat is out of the bag now Michael knows what she's is.
Liz shoukd at least give Kyle some explanation on why she's doing what she doing. That is so true Kyle and Liz are the only two people who have died and brought back by alien. I kind of really feel bad for Max to see Kyle and Liz in that position situation. And person he calls his Tess?
That was nice of the long haired Max to give Liz her Wedding dance right before he vanishes. Max so torn right now he has no idea what to do with his feelings.
💜 I'm glad that Michael and Maria can to agree not to trust the new girl. Maria just gave Michael and idea now she's killing herself for saying what she said about the new girl wanting to get into Michael pants. It's nice to see have a conversation where they are not fighting
Quote of the episode "let me tell you something Buddha boy I got a lamp that needs some serious trimming. "
Coming up next: Harvest

Can you tell me about Yakuza 0? I've never played it before and would like to read your thoughts on it.
YOOOOOOOOOOO LES FUKIN GO (thank u!!)
This review is spoiler-free!
Tumblr media
Despite what you might assume a game about a bunch of tough muscley fighting dudes, the amount of moral philosophy in this game could rival a 3-part episode of Star Trek: TNG in terms of surprisingly deep and emotional thought. The struggles the protagonists go through has a huge emphasis on honor, keeping your word, taking responsibility for your actions, standing up to things you think are wrong and persevering no matter how much pain, suffering and threat you personally go through all in the name of trying to be a good person, and emphasizing that the mental fortitude to stand for your convictions is the true strength, not just brawn. Character development is absolutely fantastic and I feel like it’s impossible not to fall for these main characters by the end of the game, no matter how weird or even pigheaded they might seem to you at first.
(Trust me, moral philosophy is probably my biggest autistic hyper-fixation. They did this shit GOOD.)
Another major reason I really love Yakuza 0 is that it takes an unusual setting to the normal person - the incredibly political, dark, yet surprisingly realistic setting of organized bullies, criminals, and the uneducated brawn and bad-attitude baddies of the world and try to show them as worthy of more as humans like you and me than just trash that should not be seen or touched. The amount of humanitarian outlook on these people and the humanitarianism of our protagonists is absolutely heartwrenching and beautiful. Despite appearances, anyone can be a good person - this seems to be a major message in this story which I just find absolutely beautiful.
The yakuza definitely have different rules to their world, and that is one that’s built on violence over paperwork, especially when it comes to showing eachother the extent of their passion about something. I feel like it’s an excellent way of portraying the difficulties any normal person goes through with their mental health while struggling to do the right thing in a very direct and relatably painful way that anyone can understand.
The story deals with not only the importance of preserving life and protecting it with surprisingly pacifist ideologies, but the aesthetics in align with the idea that no matter how dark the world or your life feels, happiness is always an option.
Why you might love Yakuza 0 even if the plot doesn’t sound that interesting to you:
Tons of minigames - I think about 28~30 total. That includes 4 actual vintage SEGA arcade games! There’s also tons of gambling games like black jack and shogi, fishing, rhythm games, bowling, fighting tournaments, pool, darts, stock car racing, doll dressup.. It’s very hard not to find at least one you’ll like!
Tourism. Yakuza 0 has such an incredible amount of visual detail to every nook and cranny of every corner and unseen alleyway in the town maps that it feels just absolutely insane to me. The devs didn’t need to put in all this detail but they did. I could legit spend hours in first person mode just looking at everything. On top of that, every restaurant in town has a detailed menu describing each item despite the fact that all food items are just generic healing items. I think there’s even a bar where the bartender will go on a spiel talking about certain drinks after you order them. The atmosphere really makes you feel like you’re truly taking a vacation in another place. Great for when you’re longing to see new scenery while being stuck at home all the time during COVID.
The amount of optional side quests is absolutely insane. According to a wiki there’s a total of 100 side quests in all. If you’re a fan of JRPGs or a fan of completionism, completing them all gives you a ton of extra content and side-stories that can sometimes be just as gutwrenchingly wholesome or tragic as the main plot, or otherwise be great comic relief.
Speaking of comic relief, this game is notorious for it. The main plot can be incredibly serious and stressful and the devs know that can really wear down on the mental state of the player after awhile, so seeing Kiryu dance at a disco in the most lame awkward embarassing dad way possible, or see him pick up a phone in the most ridiculously over-dramatic way for no reason, or see Goro sing lovey-dovey pop songs is just something that will absolutely kill you with laughter and joy and give you a refreshed break you need to help you be able to keep continuing on.
Big fan of seiyuu (Japanese voice actors)? The karaoke bar lets you hear your protagonists’ gorgeous singing voice. You can even invite some side characters and hear their voices too!
Tumblr media
NOW THE FAIR CRITICISMS:
Despite the plot having a huge emphasis on how important the morality is of not killing, fighting animations are often totally lethal. Goro canonically fights with a knife and a bat by the end of the game. Both characters can use guns, swords, poisoned knives, baseball bats and other lethal items as a weapon. One of Goro’s main fighting animations is snapping a dude’s neck. Kiryu threw a dude out of a high window. Kiryu shoots at dudes with a gun in a high speed chase at some point and none of these instances are ever addressed in canon plot as having blood on the hands of these characters - no matter what, the people hurt by these things seem to be able to stand up fine later on like nothing happened. Even the main characters can get shot by an actual gun 20 times in a row and shrug it off by shoving convenience store food down their throat. It’s super dumb but absolutely hilarious in it’s unaddressed B-Movie esque hypocritical nature and became a huge in-joke with the fandom. Despite these Goofy Video Game Logic instances, the main plot (specifically the cutscenes) are all extremely realistic and well done. Actual members of real-world Yakuza say the story is pretty accurate to reality.
One of the minor characters is obviously a trans woman but is misgendered constantly by other characters, including the protagonist (though this may be a translation problem), and is the only female character in the game you can fight and have to fight in order to unlock Kiryu’s endgame fighting style (though he remarks he only fights her because she looks like she can handle herself in a fight). She does end up joining up with you as an ally afterwards without changing anything about herself so that’s a positive, I guess? SEGA is aware of fans’ dislike for transphobia and have removed a lot of transphobic content from their re-releases of future Yakuza games, as well as shown the protagonist, Kiryu, as a huge LGBTQ+ ally.
-----------------
Things you might like or otherwise want to check out relating to the same story style of Yakuza 0 I personally highly recommend:
Kyou Kara Ore Wa!! (aka, "From Today, It's My Turn!!"): Absolutely hilarious gag comedy with surprisingly heartwrenching drama and incredibly lovable in-depth characters. It’s about highschool delinquents in the late 1980s (same era Yakuza 0 takes place!). The two main characters remind me a lot of the protagonists of Yakuza 0 in that one is very straight-laced and honorable while the other is more prone to dirty tricks but still does the right thing in the end. I personally recommend reading the manga above all because adaptations cut out a lot of details that I feel add a lot of depth to the characters, but the OVA anime is pretty good on it’s own and there’s a hilarious live action TV show adaptation if you like slapstick.
Rookies: A story about an impossibly determined formerly disgraced highschool teacher doing absolutely everything he can to be the best teacher he can be. Part of his journey is helping reform a group of delinquents who have self-sabotaged themselves into having their baseball team - the one thing they cared about - disbanded. The delinquents constantly fight the teacher off, believing him to just be another adult putting on airs instead of truly caring, while the teacher perseveres no matter what to prove them wrong. A manga and live action drama - both extremely good.

A couple of months ago, after finishing COUNTER/Weight, I spent about a week in a total hangover, relistening to scenes and having feelings. I took some notes, but procrastinated posting them, and then finally got distracted. But, a) I hate leaving things I intended for tumblr unposted, even if they have value only for me, and b) I also hate posting things out of order, and there's a big TM liveblog incoming. So, here's a bunch of really random thoughts about C/w from past me.
The gnosis virus did go nowhere huh. I was hopeful for a minute when one of the finale intros mentioned it, but that was it. What was the purpose of that arc even. [Note from present me: Lol. At least I feel better about this one!]
Oh, and the patch AuDy left never reappeared either. And the idea from the faction game that Aria's images owned by EarthHome/Petrichor transmit Rigour code… That's the flip side of the coin. On the one hand, it's really cool to see the creative process – on the other, it sometimes feels like you're listening to people write a script for the tv show, but only get to see a half of the finished product. It's fascinating to see the universe grow organically and the players to come up with new ideas and get excited about them – but that means numerous retcons, some of them not even presented as such, because the creators forgot what the previous revision was or didn't thought it was important. It's a unique feature of the medium that player choice directs the narrative and it's not bound by railroading – but that means some roads lead nowhere, and some branches dry and fall off.
It's a bit harder to make peace with something that could have easily been developed more within the existing plot of the show. How come there's a player character whose consciousness consists of three different people in various combinations, but nobody seems to be curious how that works? No PC or NPC ever asked “Which one of you is speaking right now?” or something. The final episodes made a lot of things clearer, but it still felt too little, too late. Hard not to be reminded of that gripe about certain two characters sharing one character sheet one of whom was left underdeveloped and half-forgotten… Both are very ambitious concepts that require a double amount of work from the player, so I feel bad complaining they weren't realized to full potential, but…
Speaking of L&D… I still want to know how the hell did that one engineer all by herself design 4 gods, one of which became a basis for technology that was advanced even for the civilizations 80,000 years later? This woman singlehandedly surpassed any technological achievement of humanity before and after. Who Is She
I saw a “Wake me up: before you go go / when september ends / wake me up inside” meme and thought “heh, this sounds relevant, which member of the Chime is which?” and it already made me sad, but then I realized that I'd never actually heard the september song and looked it up and. The lyrics fit so well. What the fuck. It's an old song everyone keeps joking about. Why is it appropriate for a legitimate fanmix. What. I guess the word “September” will never be the same again for me.
I looked up the rules for Firebrands, the game used for the finale. Oh my, challenges for the dance minigame are so overtly romantic when you see them in a list together! Imagine this cast of characters having to answer to “do you place your hand upon my elbow, shoulder, waist, or hip?” lmao. Also I didn't realize “May I?” was part of the rules for “stealing time together”. (And I found out there's a party version of that minigame with bug-themed challenges. I might have dug too deep…) "Tactical skirmish" is a really fascinating concept, I've never seen such a masochistic combat system! Really faces the player with the violence they're inflicting: sure, you can always fight on, but are you ready to live with what you'll have to do? But for it to work fully, you need a lot of non-expendable NPCs on both sides. The one with the most likeable team wins! (Like Mako did.)
I'm relistening to Three Conversations and it's pretty interesting that Ibex has a bunch perfectly lifelike android bodies, right? There is no such technology seen anywhere else. Did Righteousness develop and privatize that? Are they so complex that only a Divine would have enough computing power to successfully mimic organic life? Can Aria convince Righteousness to help her perform on stage without leaving her duties? Also, like with AuDy, I wonder how Ibex & Righteousness' consciousness works. Is it a single mind, spread across every body he has, or even anything Righteousness is running on, having a bunch of different conversations at once if he needs to? Or is the original Ibex just gone, and what's left is a personality imprint hanging on to the connection to his still living body, imitating his former self like the automated recording Cass saw wore his face? In other words, has Ibex completely fused with Righteousness, or assimilated and destroyed by it? Does he not exist anymore as an independent singular being, or does he not exist at all? Most info indicates the former, but there was also “You’re not in there anymore” “No”.
If Orth and Jace are anime fans with their Kingdom Come and Panther, then Ibex is the guy who's way too into dinosaurs or paleontology. It's as if the heads of various confessions were called Triceratops, Stegosaurus etc. and only one of them knows wtf that means, and also he compares his Divine to… Were there scavenging dinosaurs? I'm looking at an article that suggests T. Rex might have been a scavenger, so yeah he would compare Righteousness to a goddamn T. Rex.
Hey what do you think is the most thematically aproppriate part of the Hieron anime for Orth to watch alone at night during the Kingdom game. What's the best thematic parallel for when he turns off the episode and thinks he made a mistake. Do you think that he once, after a long day and a long month and maybe a long year of feeling helpless and doomed, sits down for a distraction but ends up sobbing “How could they let this happen to Mother Glory”
On Joypark, there are definitely statues of Eidolons, ancient and holy, that were repainted and repurposed as Hieron deities. Imagine a giant Greek or Roman style marble statue of Apote – and it’s painted over as Samot, with an anime face and in really bright plain colors like these “reconstructions of original coloring” that actually only use base colors so they look like cheap action figures.
I was reading Austin's top ten games of 2016 list on Waypoint and he gave first place to The Sprawl! Aww!
The Downloads folder in my phone gallery is funny bc it mostly consists of every freely available f@tt map and also that one photo of Tristan Walker (because I tried to redraw it, very unsuccessfully). I go check a map and every time am met by Ibex just. staring at me. It's unsettling
Some of the many options for how Apostolosian gender could have been presented:
Apostolosians prefer to be addressed by the most neutral available human pronoun, represented as "they" in English, because the human languages don't have anything close enough
Apostolosian pronouns are represented in English by a set of real-life common pronouns and neopronouns
There's a list of Apostolosian pronouns and they're just used in English verbatim (Really impractical because the players need a cheat sheet, but the most fair)
Humans apply human genders to Apostolosians. Apostolosians may be offended, may find it convenient, or something else
As Austin said in the post-mortem, the Eidolon system is not gender. It's represented in English by titles/honorifics/etc
Any of the above, and the creators are aware of the difference between personal pronouns, grammatical gender, and social gender
And that’s not even touching the core problem of what the concept of gender in a futuristic, techonologically advanced society would look like. Yes, I'm complaining about this for the third time but I'm just. So tired of native English speakers' takes on gendered language. They could have made Apostolosian gender look like anything and they made it look like that fucking mess... God, I really hope TM is good enough to make me forget and forgive the experience of listening to “he... sorry, they” for 100 hours. [Note from present me: Well… mostly]
Here’s my take on this: eidolons in Apostolosian language are absurdly broad noun classes with associated classifiers (which fits both the idea that they’re gender but not actually, and that each of them is a patron to several unrelated aspects of life) Apostolosian: the word “(Apo)thesa” is used to refer to people who follow the corresponding eidolon, as well as for counting buildings, heavy machinery, military units, specific strategies and tactics, log entries, historical documents and chronicles, history textbooks and monographs, and eras :) Human: what the fuck
Very critical, imaginative worldbuilding in which 80,000+ years into the future humanity somehow has 21st century gender and 21st century capitalism! TBH, I find any sci-fi set in the far future inherently silly – we can’t really imagine the future technogy and its effect on society. But it feels like C/w barely even tried, and to hear it boast about “critical worldbuilding” is kinda strange. I assumed that meant they build the world critically, not that they recreate modern society or some aspect of it and criticize that! It’s just another Star Trek then! And it was already clear right during the setup when they said “We don’t want Star Trek aliens” and immediately created Apostolosians.
I haven't seen a single piece of fanart with Taako and Mako. Come on, does nobody want to see these two next to each other! Especially considering the outfits artists like to put Taako in!
I really don't understand how and why people do fandom activities on Twitter and Discord where the creators also have accounts. It gives me so much secondhand embarrassment. I can barely peek at Twitter posts before running away. Old-fashioned opinion apparently but I strongly believe the main fandom space and the interaction-with-original-creators space should be separate. I need a space where I can voice my opinions, especially negative ones, with complete freedom. I need to be able to say exactly what's on my mind. But I wouldn't want any of the people on the podcast to read something unfiltered like my complaints above. Being in the same space as the source content creators obliges any decent person to be diplomatic and constructive. And the creators, in turn, need a space where they don't come across complete randos yelling at them about something they said in a podcast three years ago. I'm already feeling uncomfortable because hearing to strangers pour their hearts out for hundreds of hours gives me way too much insight on who they are as people. Of course, nothing’s stopping them from lurking on Tumblr or AO3 and even reading this very post, but a platform where they have official accounts is still a different thing! I even feel uncomfortable talking about the podcast creators using their first names so much. To my ear, referring to a total stranger by first name, especially if it's a shortened form, sounds so rude! I'm not their friend, I don't have that right! But, of course, writing something like “Mr Walker” in my liveblogs would have been even weirder, nobody does that...
Is it a common experience to not even think about fanfiction after listening to Hieron, but going straight to AO3 after C/w? I feel like since Hieron is still a work in progress, writing/reading about it is stepping on the GM&players' toes, and C/w is finished so it's like they gave us the keys to the playground, it's the fandom's turn now. This story has so much blanks and they must be filled! In one of the early episodes they joked that something cute they said would encourage people to ship Mako/Cass and I was like "Bold of you to assume they aren't already" and, indeed, I was right and it's the most popular C/w ship on AO3. Too bad I’m so indifferent to it…
It’s a shame we never had a full scene with Ariadne or even learned what they were up to during the finale.
I still don't understand how Ibex went from “evil CEO” to “leader of a proletarian revolution”, these sound like completely opposite concepts to me
I probably have talked about this too much and have pretty much given up on ever getting a clear picture due to all of these reimaginings but… Righteousness and Voice… Ibex takes Righteousness out of Mako but he still has Voice, that was pretty much openly stated, correct? So how does that work? I’m guessing Righteousness is hidden somewhere in Voice’s code. But if so:
Did Maryland know? On the one hand, she’s too competent not to. On the other, why would she ever allow or accept that?
How did Righteousness not get corrupted by Rigour too? Maybe it did, but broke off the connection with the rest of itself to contain the damage? Or maybe, on the contrary, it kept in contact and was sending intel to Ibex the whole time? But in that case he would have provided more help in the finale.

Haprz Kaur, Will Gompertz, Hannah Peel and Mark Radcliffe
With England in lockdown once more, and plenty of others elements of the UK enduring extreme restrictions, folks need to movie, books, music, on-line artwork, podcasts and extra for his or her cultural kicks.
Right here, BBC presenters and journalists share their lockdown picks. It is an eclectic checklist of options for the place to look subsequent when you fancy some inspiration.

Mark Radcliffe
Veteran broadcaster Mark Radcliffe presents BBC Radio 2’s Folks Present and 6 Music’s weekend chat and music present Radcliffe and Maconie .
The Trial Of The Chicago 7 (Netflix)
youtube
I like a courtroom drama, I have to say. For individuals who do not know the Chicago 7, they had been college students and hippies and anti-Vietnam protesters who picketed on the 1968 Democratic Occasion Conference and had been arrested for inciting riots.
For those who do not forget that 12 months, it was a extremely highly-charged time. Martin Luther King was assassinated in April, after which Bobby Kennedy in June – so that is a rare snapshot of these instances. It nonetheless has a resonance, significantly in how the one black defendant is handled. Within the time of Black Lives Matter and the George Floyd protests, it reminds you that not the whole lot has modified, by a great distance.
Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart (Picador books)
That is set within the time of Thatcherism, and it is a tragic story of this younger lad Shuggie Bain, who’s defending and caring for an alcoholic mom, dwelling in excessive poverty. It is moderately Thomas Hardy-esque, in that everyone seems to be doomed to disappointment or dying, but it surely feels very actual. And just like the movie, one suspects life hasn’t modified very a lot for lots of people.
The novel is nominated for the Booker Prize, though I do not typically take that as an enormous advice. I’ve actually introduced Booker-winning novels and thought they had been dreadful.
The Queen’s Gambit (Netflix)
youtube
Anya Taylor-Pleasure performs Beth Harman, who’s in an orphanage at first of the movie, and is intrigued by the janitor who performs chess. He step by step agrees to show her and it seems she’s an absolute prodigy. It is based mostly on a novel by somebody referred to as Walter Tevis but it surely feels prefer it should be true. It is in regards to the connections you make as an orphan – friendships and connections and adoption. And there is plenty of chess.
Story continues
The truth is, we began taking part in chess at house, impressed by it, and my spouse is miles higher than me and she will see a number of strikes forward. We do not play anymore. It obtained too annoying.

Strictly Come Dancing (BBC One, iPlayer)
Watching my subsequent door neighbour Clara [Amfo] completely bossing it on display is superb. I am an enormous fan of BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing anyway, however seeing Clara shine like a Queen is nice. Rooting for her little doubt. And I often discover something music or dance associated to be therapeutic for me. It is enjoyable, a straightforward watch and it is an effective way to wind down. Seize some munchies and sit on the couch whereas having your individual social gathering. It is excellent.
Made In Heaven (Amazon Prime)
youtube
I’ve additionally simply completed watching season certainly one of Made In Heaven. A few colleagues have been that means to get me into it and now I am hooked. It is extra of a drama sequence, but it surely’s so good and retains you on the sting of your seat on the finish of each episode. Cannot wait to begin the second season.
Sister Sister (Netflix)
And thirdly, I am watching Sister Sister, a 1990s US sitcom about twins Tia and Tamera who had been separated at beginning and reunite 14 years later. It is introduced again my youth. And you may by no means get sufficient. For those who grew up watching Tia and Tamera, you already understand how good it’s. For those who fancy a giggle, put them on.”

They will swing between stuff that is taking place in our photo voltaic system to actual mad stuff like, what is going to the universe appear to be a trillion years from now? After which they will break it down utilizing actual physics and actual science.
The Actual Housewives of America (Sky, ITV Be, Amazon Prime Video)
youtube
I do not watch a lot TV or actuality exhibits,” says Friction. “However I fell into this gap of watching The Actual Housewives of Atlanta and The Actual Housewives of Potomac. It wasn’t till the summer season that I went, ‘Wait a minute, they’re the one two actuality exhibits from that franchise that function black girls. Each different present options white girls.
I am subconsciously coping with Black Lives Matter, race and the whole lot that is taking place this 12 months through these actuality exhibits. Imagine me, I’ve fallen so deep into them. Anybody who asks a query in regards to the seasons or the episodes, I’ve the reply.
The Beatles
Friction has been rediscovering The Beatles by listening to all their albums back-to-back once more.
“I simply obtained again into it and thought, my God, how did these guys write practically each style of music that we’re nonetheless listening to? And also you’re telling me they launched The White Album and Yellow Submarine and Sgt Pepper inside the area of 18 months? It is ridiculous.”

Will Gompertz
Will Gompertz has been arts editor for BBC Information since 2009 and earlier than that was a director on the Tate Gallery.
What I Love (podcast)
I am loving this podcast, introduced by the award-winning theatre director Ian Rickson. It has a easy format: one visitor with whom Rickson has labored selects three issues she or he loves. Chiwetel Ejiofor included a Michael Kiwanuka tune, Kae Tempest picked a e book by William Blake. Good listening.
Strata: William Smith’s Geological Maps (Thames & Hudson)
Some books are lovely, others are enlightening. Strata is each. Full of beautiful illustrations, it presents the work of William Smith, a 17th Century geologist, who was the primary individual to comprehensively map the earth beneath our toes. It is the most effective non-fiction e book I’ve learn in a very long time.
Name My Agent (Netflix)
French TV would not get that a lot consideration for some purpose – however they produce some nice programmes. Spiral is the most effective police procedural on telly, whereas Name My Agent is the right lockdown escape: uptight actor’s brokers coping with uptight actors in a Paris workplace the place they find yourself both bickering or sleeping with one another. Or each. Tres bon!

Hannah Peel
Musician Hannah Peel presents late-night Radio three present Evening Tracks, which ranges from classical to up to date music. She was Emmy-nominated final 12 months for her soundtrack for HBO’s Video games of Thrones: The Final Watch.
Notes On Blindness (Obtain, Netflix)
youtube
This can be a documentary in regards to the author John Hull, who went blind simply earlier than the beginning of his son and began to make a diary of audio cassettes. Within the movie you hear all of the precise recording, and it is simply unimaginable.
You are immersed in a world of sound, as a substitute of being completely bombarded with visible info. It sounds prefer it must be a podcast, but it surely actually works as a movie – delving into the thoughts and the physique and desires and reminiscence. I feel it is a masterpiece.
Bandcamp (Unbiased music retailer)
I am Bandcamp all the best way, for the whole lot. They do an incredible factor as soon as a month referred to as Bandcamp Friday, the place each artist will get 100% of the revenue on their merchandise or downloads or CD gross sales. It is the one place that does that within the music business.
The very last thing I purchased was a compilation by a beautiful little indie label referred to as Salmon Universe, who put out plenty of ambient, digital music. I like compilations since you’re led to artists from all internationally, from Ohio to Japan. It is superb.
Islands (RTÉ podcast)
That is made by the world-renowned sound recordist Chris Watson, who’s teamed up with the author/presenter Luke Clancy to take a journey throughout the atlas of distant islands, from Ross Island to the Galapagos to the probably legendary isle of HyBrasil.
It is filled with tales and sounds, and it is lovely. I similar to the best way you need to use podcasts to specific one thing emotional, moderately than factual. So that you get a way of ethereal escapism inside that.

Mark Savage
Mark has been the BBC’s music reporter since 2015, and introduced 6 Music’s Historical past of Video Sport Music final 12 months.
Ted Lasso (Apple TV)
youtube
After Schitt’s Creek ended, I used to be desperately trying to find a TV present that hit the identical candy spot of belly-laughs and heart-warming humour. That is that present.
Starring Jason Sudeikis, it tells the story of an American Soccer coach who involves London to supervise a fictional Premiership workforce, regardless of figuring out nothing about soccer. Unbeknownst to him, the membership’s proprietor (performed with scrumptious relish by Hannah Waddingham) is making an attempt to get the workforce relegated to spite her adulterous husband. I will not spoil the plot, however the present’s relentlessly optimistic tone is simply what I wanted in lockdown.
Pikmin three Deluxe (Nintendo)
Pikmin is not as well-known as Nintendo’s larger franchises, like Mario and Zelda, but it surely’s been made with simply as a lot care and a spotlight to element. You play as a crew of astronauts, stranded on a hostile planet, who need to enlist a crop of plant-like creatures to assist them discover the lacking elements of their spaceship.
You command as much as 100 of the little Pikmin, every of whom have completely different talents (some are fighters, some are swimmers, others are impervious to electrical energy) to resolve a bunch of more and more difficult puzzles towards a time restrict. It is concurrently enjoyable and panic-inducing; however I have been specializing in finishing the much less worrying problem mode with my 10-year-old, who simply likes throwing the Pikmin round and laughing at their cute noises.
Dua Lipa – Future Nostalgia (Warner Music)
youtube
Rush-released in the beginning of the primary lockdown, that is nonetheless my favorite document of the 12 months. A sweat-glistened hymn to the dancefloor, it by no means fails to raise my temper.
The album is getting the dwell therapy later this month, with a digital gig that is been dubbed Studio 2054 – with Dua promising (deep breath) “a kaledioscopic, rocket-fuelled, journey by way of time, area, mirrorballs, curler discos, bucket hats, belting beats, throbbing basslines and an absolute slam-dunk of the most effective instances in international membership tradition”. See you there. Hotpants elective.

Ms Ice Sandwich by Mieko Kawakami (Pushkin Press)
The Japanese writer’s novella is evocative however breezy, conversational and unsentimental. She’s coping with the difficulties and complexity of human life however in a extremely relatable, heat and humorous method.
It is in regards to the relationship between an adolescent and their mom. It is a coming-of-age story and in regards to the anxieties of being a youngster, however you get to see it from either side. You’ll be able to sense what the mom’s feeling as properly. She’s a fortune teller and their grandma’s ailing upstairs. It is a household story about feminine identification in Japan.
Fats Out Fest (YouTube)
The annual music competition from Salford-based underground and different promoters, Fats Out Fest occurred dwell on-line this 12 months, and they’re now placing units on YouTube each Friday over the subsequent month.
They actually do take it to the sting. On 20 November they’re broadcasting Lone Taxidermist – her exhibits are wild. It is efficiency artwork in addition to music. Her new present Marra begins along with her singing alongside to a cattle market. An precise cattle market. Her voice is synced with the auctioneer and Maxine Peake is within the video. It is on the market.
Radiophrenia (Streaming)
Radiophrenia is a Glasgow sound artwork radio station that is streaming 24/7 till 22 November. I used to be listening to an Italian sound artist referred to as Tobia Bandini. He’d interviewed all these folks asking for his or her response to the apocalypse after which he’d combine their tales – they’re all in Italian – with digital soundscapes.
If you wish to tune out of the information then this can be a very nice place to flee to. There’s all types in there, and plenty of it’s simply actually pleasing and fairly hypnotic.

The LA (Quarantine) TV & Takeout Guide added to Google Docs
The LA (Quarantine) TV & Takeout Guide
If shelter-in-place has taught us anything, it’s that we definitely used to take streaming services for granted (and also that we should be nicer to our parents, since we use their Netflix account). But after six (hundred?) weeks of this, it’s understandable if you’re starting to feel like there’s nothing left to watch. That’s where we come in - below, you’ll find our picks for great shows you can stream right now, and some delivery and takeout options to pair with them. We’ll be updating this list regularly, but for now, here are 12 combinations to keep your quarantine viewing feeling fun, fresh, and hopefully, just a bit more normal.
All restaurants featured on The Infatuation are selected by our editorial team. The LA (Quarantine) TV & Takeout Guide is presented by Uber Eats. In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, supporting our local restaurant community has never been more important. Uber Eats customers can now give directly to the restaurants they love at checkout. 100% will go to the restaurant. Order now to support. See app for details.
Featured In The Ultimate LA Delivery & Takeout Guide Check out all our guides THE SPOTS  Jakob Layman Rappahannock Oyster Bar $ $ $ $ Seafood  in  Arts District ,  Downtown LA $$$$ 787 Alameda St 7.4 /10
TV Pairing: Outer Banks (Netflix)
“If you ever wondered what would happen if they combined Dawson’s Creek and The Goonies, your answer is Outer Banks. Honestly, this show is completely ridiculous, but at the end of the day, I’ll watch anything that involves a treasure hunt. Facts are facts. It’s also cinematically appealing, and makes living in the marshes of coastal North Carolina (and being chased by corrupt city officials) somehow… romantic? Either way, lean-in to the fantasy and order delivery from Rappahannock. The Downtown oyster bar has roots in the Chesapeake Bay, and flies most of their seafood in daily from the Mid-Atlantic. Everything from their crab cakes and grilled octopus to the shrimp and grits is worth ordering.” - BC
 Order delivery  Birds Rotisserie Chicken Cafe $ $ $ $ American  in  Franklin Village ,  Hollywood $$$$ 5925 Franklin Ave 7.5 /10
TV Pairing: Party Down (Hulu)
“While we all wait for the next Tiger King to seize the streaming zeitgeist/give us something to talk to our parents about, might I suggest revisiting Party Down, the cringe-comedy classic about an LA catering company staffed with struggling actors? Not only is the ensemble cast - including Adam Scott, Lizzy Caplan, Ken Marino, Jane Lynch, and Martin Starr - fantastic and funny, but the series particularly excels at capturing the unique blend of desperation, elation, and rejection that fills an actor’s life in Los Angeles. In the times before shelter-in-place, you could witness all of those things on a random night at Birds, the chicken joint located next to UCB in Franklin Village. Now, you can get their signature rotisserie chicken or chicken pot pies delivered to your house; replicating the desperation is up to you.” - JM
 Ali'i Fish Company $ $ $ $ Seafood ,  Hawaiian  in  El Segundo $$$$ 409 E Grand Ave Not

TV Pairing: Survivor (CBS)
“Survivor is the greatest show in the history of television. I’ve watched every episode of all 40 seasons, and I’m not alone in that. I would guess, though, that I’m alone in one aspect: I’m a bit jealous of the food they’re eating - a constant stream of fresh fish, octopus, clams, and oysters. The solution? Eat incredible raw fish while I watch, like the tremendous poke from Ali’i Fish Company. This El Segundo spot sources their selection from the Hawaiian fish market daily, and it’s the ideal accompaniment to watching a bunch of people stranded somewhere in Fiji, (figuratively) stabbing each other in the back while also (literally) trying to avoid falling coconuts and poisonous urchins. Order online, and get the salmon ponzu and onion limu ahi. And as far as the show - If you’ve never watched before, start with seasons 13 and 28.” - BK
 Order delivery   Jitlada $ $ $ $ Thai  in  East Hollywood ,  Thai Town $$$$ 5233 Sunset Blvd. 9.4 /10
TV Pairing: Barry (HBO)
“As the presiding member of the Bill Hader Is Hot Club, of course I’m watching Barry. What’s not to like about this show? Dark, wry humor, compelling performances, parodies of Hollywood cliches, Henry Winkler doing his very best Henry Winkler, and, you know, Bill Hader. And not that I’ve thought about this at all, but, for the sake of this assignment, if we were to hypothetically go out on a date, it would probably be at Jitlada. Maybe he’d laugh when I admit that their legendary jungle curry is a little too spicy for my delicate palate, perhaps we’d split an order or two of the crispy catfish salad while I ask him about Laser Cats. Who knows? Like I said, I haven’t given this any thought at all. Jitlada is available for takeout and delivery, call (323) 667-9809 or order through various delivery platforms.” -KH
 Order delivery  Michin Dak $ $ $ $ Korean  in  Koreatown $$$$ 3324 W 6th St 8.0 /10
TV Pairing: KBO Baseball (ESPN)
“What were you doing at 1am on Tuesday? Watching Opening Day of the Korea Baseball Organization live on ESPN? No? Guess you don’t miss sports/have as big a gambling problem as I do. Sure, there were no fans in the stadium, and yes, there was only one bat flip, but damn, did it feel good to have a ballgame on in the background. And, until Major League Baseball comes back, I’m all-in on the KBO League. So I’ll be staying up late (ESPN live broadcasts start at around 2:30am PT) and reheating plenty of fried chicken - the most popular ballpark food in Korea - from Michin Dak, the Koreatown strip-mall shack that turns out my favorite spicy wings, sandwiches, and - above all else - gang jung, popcorn chicken coated in an orange-honey sauce. Is there anything better at 2am? Wait, don’t answer that.” - JM
 Order delivery   Jones Hollywood $ $ $ $ Italian  in  West Hollywood $$$$ 7205 Santa Monica Blvd. 8.3 /10
TV Pairing: Gossip Girl (Netflix)
“Here’s the thing - I didn’t watch a single episode of Gossip Girl when it originally aired on TV. However, the entire series is currently streaming on Netflix, and at some point in quarantine, I accidentally watched the whole thing. Is it a great show? Not really, but everyone’s hot, rich, and primarily uses BlackBerries to communicate, so obviously I loved it. If you decide to binge it too, make sure you order food from Jones Hollywood. The classic Italian spot on Santa Monica Blvd. has a sultry, Upper East Side energy and a menu that feels like a love letter to New York. Think thin-crust pizza, spaghetti and meatballs, and some of the best martinis in town.” - BC
Gardena Bowl Coffee Shop $ $ $ $ Diner ,  Hawaiian  in  Gardena $$$$ 15707 S Vermont Ave 7.5 /10
TV Pairing: PEN15 (Hulu)
“I almost can’t believe this show exists. It combines all of my favorite things - girls being stupid and gross, Maya Erskine’s perfect face, and apparently, yelling at my television, begging for a 30-year-old woman with braces to hurry up and kiss a preteen boy. Let’s just say I’ve had to wrestle with a lot of complex emotions while getting through PEN15. And whenever I want to return to my own awkward, embarrassing, thong-obsessed youth (and trust me, that’s not very often) or just want some of the best Hawaiian food in the state (much more often), I order from Gardena Bowl Coffee Shop. This tiny diner attached to a bowling alley in the South Bay does Hawaiian food the way I grew up eating it - which means massive portions, a liberal Spam policy, and something called the Royal, a gigantic platter that comes with eggs, rice, chashu, and Portuguese sausage that’s an all-out-brawl of flavor in your mouth. Call (310) 532-0820 to order, or find them on delivery platforms.” -KH
 John O'Groats $ $ $ $ American ,  Diner  in  Cheviot Hills ,  West LA $$$$ 10516 W Pico Blvd 7.4 /10
TV Pairing: We’re Here (HBO)
“HBO’s only aired a few episodes of We’re Here so far, and it’s already one of my favorite new shows of 2020. It follows three very famous drag queens as they travel to small-town America and put on drag shows with members of the local community. It’s hilarious, uplifting, and will briefly restore your faith in humanity. Briefly. Pairing it with a delivery order from John O’Groats will only heighten that effect. The classic West LA diner reminds me of the family restaurants I grew up eating in as a kid in the Midwest, where everybody’s reading the same newspaper and half the waitstaff was your babysitter at one point. There isn’t really a bad order here, but if you don’t get at least a few biscuits on the side, you’ve done yourself a disservice. Call (310) 204-0692, or visit their website to order.” - BC
 Krystal Thompson Union $ $ $ $ Pasta ,  Italian  in  Pasadena $$$$ 37 E Union St 8.9 /10
TV Pairing: The Sopranos (HBO)
“This is not a hot take, but The Sopranos is the best show I’ve ever seen. Without it, so many of the other best shows ever wouldn’t exist - Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Wire, etc. And, although the family drama, incredibly timed comedy, and occasional spurts of brutality stand out, there’s something else that I always think about whenever I talk about this show: The food. Especially, Carmela’s legendary baked ziti, which seems to put every man in her life directly under her finger. And, from the moment I tasted it, the Calabrese pork ragu torchetti at Union had the same effect on me. Whenever it comes up, it’s like a song I can’t get out of my head, and I inevitably find myself placing an order and driving to Pasadena.” - BK
Order delivery  Portillo's Hot Dogs $$$$ 8390 La Palma Ave
TV Pairing: The Last Dance (ESPN)
“When I was a kid growing up in Orlando, I haaaated Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls, mostly because they denied the Shaq and Penny-led Orlando Magic a second-straight trip to the NBA Finals in 1995-96 season. But my feelings on MJ and Co. have softened over the years (in part because I’ve been dating a Chicago girl), and we’ve been loving The Last Dance, ESPN’s ultra in-depth series about the Bulls’ final championship run in ’97-98. It’s great, especially if you want to hear Michael Jordan swear, and even better with an order from Portillo’s. The Chicagoland staple only has two West Coast outposts, and the one in Buena Park is closest, but honestly, I’d probably drive to Arizona for a couple of their hot dogs, a large Italian Beef - dipped, obvs - and a slice of their incredible chocolate cake. (Yes, it has mayonnaise in it. No, that doesn’t matter). Also Jordan is better than LeBron. Don’t @ me.” - JM
 Jakob Layman Hatchet Hall $ $ $ $ American ,  Southern  in  Culver City $$$$ 12517 W Washington Blvd 8.4 /10
TV Pairing: The Outsider (HBO)
“We’re in the midst of another Stephen King-aissance, and I personally couldn’t be happier about it. The Outsider, the recent HBO series (based on a book with the same name), is an exciting, scary, and beautifully shot show that takes place in Georgia. Culver City’s Hatchet Hall is a restaurant that’s Southern to its core, just like The Outsider. And just like on the show, whenever I order from Hatchet Hall, there’s a lot of (OK, probably too much) whiskey involved. There’s also plenty of country ham, scalloped potatoes, and brown butter chocolate chip cookies.” - BK
Tilda $ $ $ $ Wine Bar  in  Echo Park $$$$ 1507 Echo Park Ave Not

TV Pairing: Man Seeking Woman (Hulu)
“Based on a book of short stories by Simon Rich, this is one of the weirdest, most absurd, randomly heartwarming shows to ever grace FXX. I mean, the very first episode opens with a date between the main character and a literal wart-covered troll - which does hit a little too close to home, re: my own dating life (although usually, I am not the main character). But that scene - and plenty more like it - totally encapsulate what it’s like to be a twentysomething in a major city. And although you can no longer cram yourself into Tilda’s tiny, glass-encased hallway (no small part of the experience), whenever I want to feel like the young, naive, and very broke (a.k.a., like a twentysomething in a major city) I head to this natural wine shop in Echo Park. It’s tres chic - maybe you’ve seen their “Call for a good time” pick-up window? - and has all of the skin-contact bottles, specialty grocery items, and, most importantly, delicious, oily tins of canned sardines one could ever want in quarantine. Pick-up in-store, or find them on the delivery platforms.” -KH

The media seems awfully excited this morning about the prospect of Scott Brown being hauled over the SFA coals for his “incitement” in Sunday’s game. Most of the hacks have written hysterical articles over the past 24 hours where he seems to be in the frame simply because players from the Ibrox club proved to be incapable of controlling themselves.
There isn’t one of us who doesn’t understand why the media is playing its usual game here; if they did otherwise they would have to ask serious questions of Ibrox. That, many in the media will never do. The key incidents in the game involved the grotesque behaviour of their footballers, not ours, yet much of the press isn’t even interested in “balance.”
Everything is blamed on Brown. What an easy target he must look.
Except, of course, that he’s the last person who will ever respond badly when under such a spotlight.
I would welcome the disciplinary panel looking into his conduct.
I really would, especially on this issue of the so-called celebrations at the end which lasted a mere 60 seconds if that before half of the Ibrox team went all Raging Bull. As Kennedy said yesterday, the game finished over in that corner; Brown’s reaction at the end was a mixture of relief and exaltation.
And, need I say this again, it lasted about a minute. This was not sustained dancing in front of their fans; it was a spontaneous reaction. Tell me how it’s any different to, say, Alfredo Morelos shushing the Aberdeen fans when he scored at Pittodrie.
.celtra-ad-host { min-width: calc(100% + 50%) !important; margin-left: 2px !important; transform-origin: top left; transform: scale3d(0.67,0.67,1); }
That was captured on TV too and nobody accused him of incitement or any other such thing.
Brown did nothing wrong here. Winding up opposing players is not exactly unheard of in the game; if the Ibrox club’s footballers are prone to behaving like thugs in a bar-fight that is their lookout. There is no excuse for the way they behaved, and those trying to manufacture them are just embarrassing themselves. The furore over the celebrations is simply outrageous; had Halliday and others not gone off the deep end not a soul would have cared.
Be glad the SFA is “looking into it.” Because they can only return with one verdict. Anything else would be a sham, it would be throwing our captain to the wolves. It would be an act of appeasement to a baying mob. Celtic will never allow that. You best believe that if the SFA attempts this they will face the full might of our legal team.
I don’t think it’ll come to that. This is a complete non-issue blown out of proportion by the press because Gerrard tried to use it as a fig leaf to cover another setback, and to protect his own players from the consequences of their diabolical behaviour.
His own comments were inflammatory and frankly dangerous; I have not heard one single serious journalist speak out about that, although the potential consequences are much greater than anything Scott Brown is alleged to have done.
On that, too, there is zero balance. Because there is zero coverage. Shame on the media for allowing him to get away with that.

Vacation Gifts For The Ladies In Your Life
We understand, ladies are mystical animals. However one point they have in common resembles presents Yet (yes, there is a caveat when it concerns giving females presents), they do not want blender or food processors, self-help publications, or blending bowls.
If you wish to make all of the women in your life delighted, you have to comply with a few easy rules.
Joint-use gifts.
If you're in a partnership, never ever acquire "joint-use" gifts unless previously talked about. For instance, getting your darling a 50" plasma TV when you cohabit might send out the message that the gifts is truly for you. And also never ever buy her a kitchen area device unless she informs you she really, no really, wants a Cuisinart juicer, do not, I repeat, do not buy your better half an appliance for Christmas (unless you like resting on the couch).
Get the right dimension
If you purchase the females on your checklist an article of clothing (typically inadvisable), see to it you know her dimension. You don't intend to acquire something also huge or as well small. And also if you get her underwear, offer it to her secretive. You do not wish to clarify to her nieces and nephews just what a lace negligee is.
Lush gifts
When purchasing for colleagues, bosses, and also colleagues that you are not romantically entailed with or dating for a considerable time, don't buy also extravagant a present. Purchasing a costly gift can send the wrong message.
Staying clear of the dog residence
Additionally consider the type of gift. Is a satin robe truly an excellent option for a female employer? While she might like it, she most likely doesn't want her staffs recognizing just what she puts on to bed. Think of exactly how the recipient will certainly interpret the present. As an example, would your sister value the view behind your option of anti-cellulite cream or a book on the best ways to slim down? Or, do you want the woman you've taken place 2 days with to review right into your gift of $3,000 ruby earrings? Search, she might anticipate an also bigger ruby in the future!
In general, try to find out something about the recipient, so that you could buy a thoughtful gift that she'll enjoy. And also whatever you do, don't name a constellation after her.
In the event that you're completely clueless, choose something from this list and you'll prevent the negative gift blacklist for one more year. The best component is that you can buy all of theses presents without leaving your living-room.

If the ladies on your list has a pooch, opportunities are the little hair ball is like a youngster to her. Offering her a gift for the pet dog will show how delicate (and also thoughtful) you are.
Gift Certificate To A Medical spa.
This is one gift certification that's much from impersonal. Most likely to Google, type in "day spas" together with your city name, and also the majority of the time you could order a present certificate online.
Present Certification To Department Shops.
When you're buying for ladies you don't know well, like a second cousin or your 14 year old niece who stays in Idaho, a present certificate to a big outlet store is terrific since she can shop for whatever she desires. Females and girls like clothes as well as given that they are so difficult to buy for somebody else, a gift certificate covers your bases. It likewise provides her something to look forward to after all of the various other presents are opened.
Exactly what's your excellent gift suggestion?

Here’s Why Imposter Syndrome Can Be A Good Thing (Says Bill Nye)
“When I took on the job as CEO of The Planetary Society in 2010, I did not consider I used to be as much as the duty. My predecessor, Lou Friedman, cofounded the society and had been working it for 30 years. Meanwhile, I knew virtually nothing about administration (not the identical as management) and nothing in regards to the construction of nonprofits. The Planetary Society had staff on a payroll with sick depart and insurance coverage advantages—and I used to be abruptly answerable for all of them. I felt pangs of imposter syndrome, an irrational concern that derives from anticipating an excessive amount of of your self and from assuming that different folks have to be extra succesful than you might be. It’s a distracting psychological bug in your mind that holds you again from doing the belongings you wish to do.
****
Full‑on imposter syndrome—the phenomenon first documented by medical psychologists Pauline Clance and Suzanne Imes in 1978—generally is a debilitating situation. I don’t imply to deal with it calmly. But as I discovered from my expertise at The Planetary Society, a milder type of imposter syndrome will not be solely a nasty factor. If you’re riddled with insecurity, you should have a really onerous time main anyone. And when you have too little self‑doubt, you possibly can slide into self‑delusion and hubris. Getting the imposter stability proper requires filtering concern so that you simply hold issues in proportion. That is a lifelong studying course of. It jogs my memory of recommendation that the tv host Tom Bergeron (you in all probability know him from America’s Funniest Home Videos and Dancing with the Stars) instructed me: “Turn your nervousness into excitement.” In the theater, in entrance of a microphone, whereas working a small nonprofit, or wherever in life, a specific amount of concern means that you’re taking a danger, difficult your self.
(Challenge your self bodily with this equipment-free exercise!)
Nerves imply you might be embarking on one thing daring and necessary.
There is one other great admonishment for stage and display performers: “If you stop being nervous, it’s time to quit.” Nerves imply you might be embarking on one thing daring and necessary. When you’re feeling concern, you’ll know that you’re heading in the right direction. Let the concern come on, then take the time to reassure your self that you are able to do this factor, you can deal with it. If want be, write down a few of your favourite accomplishments that preceded this time of self‑doubt. These touchstones needn’t be well-known acts. Maybe you had a good time in a highschool play, and perhaps your buddy Rusty wrote that you simply had been masterful. And you belief his judgment. (That occurred . . . to me.)
The exceptional story of Ernestine Shepherd:
If you might be actually good at internalizing and overcoming concern, folks might by no means know that you simply felt it within the first place. Consider James Cameron. He went to the underside of the ocean in his personal $23 million submersible known as the Deepsea Challenger. He needed to do good science, however he needed to show himself, too. And in fact, he needed to go simply because he’s an explorer and the ocean had been a longtime fascination for him. Along the way in which he had some horrifying moments: I’m positive he was stuffed with a little bit of doubt when his ship drifted free of its ship‑to‑ship cables and when he heard a really loud bang because the crushing stress outdoors his vessel abruptly hammered his fundamental hatch into place. A fantastic many individuals had been skeptical about his undertaking as a result of they considered him solely as a film director. After Titanic got here out, he famously proclaimed himself “king of the world,” however that was the movie world. In the world of underwater exploration, he was a relative unknown.
(Don’t be seduced by “sugar-free” or “fat-free” diet-food imposters. Check out our 10 low-fat treats that may wreck your eating regimen.)
So Cameron determined to show himself over again. He designed his ship from scratch, and he was alone down there. He landed within the Challenger Deep, a spot 11 kilometers (7 miles) beneath sea degree, way more rigorously than the Navy did in an exploratory mission in 1960; he didn’t kick up huge clouds of silt all over the place. One fascinating factor he found is that just a few kilometers away, the place the ocean is simply 30 meters (100 ft) much less deep, there’s an abundance of life. Where the Deepsea Challenger settled, although, there’s nearly nothing dwelling. Somehow, because the water flows to the bottommost a part of the extremely‑deep ocean, it will get starved of all the things life wants: oxygen, vitamins, and minerals of the right kind. We by no means would have identified this exceptional reality if James Cameron hadn’t determined he was an explorer in addition to a moviemaker. He did some nice science down there and introduced a brand new perspective and profile to the work.
You slowly come to acknowledge that the issues that profit you additionally profit the folks round you.
Even for those who by no means attempt to journey right down to the underside of the ocean or construct a rocket ship to Mars, there are 2 sorts of imposter syndromes that just about each one among us offers with and which can be completely important to beat. First, there’s the query “Am I just pretending to be a good person?” I hear this on a regular basis, and I’m wondering about it myself. People wonder if they’re attempting to do good for in the end egocentric causes. Do I favor vaccines for the better good or simply to maintain my child secure? Do I assist inexperienced power solely as a result of it’s the best method to not really feel responsible about my comfy life-style? Do I donate to a clear‑water fund within the creating world primarily for the tax write‑off?
When you are taking an all the things‑all‑at‑as soon as strategy, you can also make these sorts of imposter emotions fade away. You slowly come to acknowledge that the issues that profit you additionally profit the folks round you. Reducing infectious illness, slowing local weather change, and build up creating‑world infrastructure all contribute to the worldwide commons. In the long term, being egocentric and being selfless take you to comparable locations. Nobody desires poverty. When individuals are poor, they’re much extra more likely to trigger crime; they contribute much less to the general economic system; they endure extra illness. The excessive poverty in Chad has a powerful affect on well being. The common life expectancy there’s simply 50. You need all people to have a good lifestyle. Even for those who’re a egocentric bastard, you need all people to have a top quality of life for the betterment of you. The finest resolution is probably not the best, however it’s in the end in all people’s curiosity. That’s why I discuss altering the world for us. In good design, all people comes out forward.
****
Then there’s the 2d type of imposter syndrome, maybe the commonest of all. It’s that feeling that the issues on the planet—poverty, illness, local weather change—are so enormous, and the options are so difficult and daunting, that it feels absurd to presume that we are able to actually remedy them. It is straightforward to really feel presumptuous even in attempting; it’s simple to surrender and assume, I’m not a really good particular person in any case as a result of I’m not dealing with as much as the onerous actuality. It’s the flip aspect of being an precise imposter.
The resolution to feeling like an imposter is to be genuine
When these emotions strike, keep in mind one of many nice presents of nerd honesty. Looking at all the things suddenly doesn’t imply that it’s a must to remedy each drawback suddenly. Let’s face it—that’s not going to occur. What you are able to do, although, is apply a rigorous normal to your actions. You can overcome the concern of being an imposter or in over your head. Do your concepts additional your individual pursuits by furthering the widespread good? A constructive reply can emerge from small acts as a lot as from huge ones. Your solutions don’t have to dwell as much as some absurdly overwhelming normal—only a rigorously thought-about 1.
(Try these 17 constructive habits that may change your life!)
As you understand, I like studying new phrases. Here’s an particularly related one which Corey Powell simply launched to me: “neltiliztli.” It is an Aztec time period which means “well‑rooted, authentic, and true.” It was their guideline for the way to dwell a great life in an unsure world on a generally‑harmful Earth, not by in search of energy or affirmation however by doing all your finest to be in stability together with your environment. The Aztecs—a society that almost all of us within the West don’t affiliate with science—got here up with a superbly succinct expression for nerd honesty. The resolution to feeling like an imposter is to be genuine, and the trail of authenticity is the trail to a greater world.

Get To Know Me Tag
So I attempted to make a YouTube video doing this but it turns out that, as I predicted, I am much more confident behind the camera. I don’t tend to enjoy showing my face all that much. I thought that a pretty cool alternative was to write instead. So here we go I guess.
1. What is your middle name?
I happen to be a deprived child as I do not have a middle name. But I do get what seems to be a pretty complicated first name but I’m not sure that that’s much of a luxury. It makes things difficult in Starbuck’s haha.
2. What is your favourite colour?
My favourite colour is like a dark emerald/forest green. If I have fellow nerds reading this, then you will probably understand me when I say the best way for me to describe the colour is to call it ‘Slytherin green’. (FYI, I’m not a Slytherin, I just love that sort of dark green.)
3. Who was your first best friend?
Her name was Rachel. We went to the same childminder and when we were very very young we used to argue a lot. We grew out of that stage and we were best friends for many years. Unfortunately, I’m not in contact with her anymore.
4. How tall are you?
I literally just went to measure myself for this question. I’m exactly 5′4″. To be honest, I’m pretty proud of that as my family are all either short or average height, so to fall under average is a privilege with my genetics.
5. Cats or dogs?
Cats. 100%. Don’t get me wrong, I love dogs. They are pretty energetic though and cats are pretty chill and therefore much more on my wavelength. Not as much as tortoises are though. Those guys are awesome.
6. Funniest moment throughout school?
Okay so I presume this excludes College which is a shame because I’ve got some really awesome moments from College. So if we are talking high school and primary school, I’m kind of at a loss. I didn’t have a particularly happy childhood, but that’s a whole other story. If I had to pick, I’d probably go with my maths lessons. I was in set 1 so people assumed that our classes were boring and hard work, but actually, in year 9, we had the most awesome teacher. We’d basically spend the entire lesson gossiping and the teacher would tell us some funny stories about herself. The one I remember best was about her irrational fear of rice. (I don’t even know aha.) Also, when I got diagnosed with severe depression, she was super supportive. Turns out that she struggled with it herself, so she completely understood. What a legend, I hope she’s doing well.
7. How many countries have you visited?
Okay so I’ll have to count. I live in England and I’ve visited Wales, Ireland, France, Spain, Ibiza, Minorca, Majorca, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Zante, Crete, Italy, Germany, Japan and Switzerland. I think that’s it, although I have visited some of these places multiple times. So I think that’s 15 altogether.
8. Are you in/have you been to College?
Well I’m using the English definition of College which is generally further education for 16-18 y/olds. But this can differ depending on your educational background. So I’m starting College in September. I’ve just finished school which is an odd and kind of sad thing. But I’m doing a course in TV and Film production which is very exciting!
9. What was your favourite/worst subject in high school?
This is a fun question. My favourite(s) were always Physics, Maths, Art, Music and Drama. I hated the acting part of drama but coming up with ideas for productions was always super fun and interesting for me. My worst subject(s) were always English and P.E. Thank the lord above that I don’t have to do those subjects anymore. I love writing and I love reading but I hate being told what to write/read. And I think if someone ever asks me to analyse text again I’ll run away to the north pole and live as an eskimo. We won’t even get on to the subject of P.E. I don’t want that pain to be brought to the surface.
10. What is your favourite drink?
Coffee. Yes! I love it more than I love myself. Soy lattes. Honestly so amazing. But I do like the odd smoothie, tea, and sparkling water.
11. What is your favourite animal?
Essentially all of them. But if I had to pick I’d probably go with Pigs. But I do love Cows, Goats, Degus, Bearded Dragons, Tortoises, and Cats. Ooh also Gorillas. I really want to hug a Gorilla. Probably one of my life goals. I clearly have high expectations of my life.
12. What is your favourite perfume?
I do love the Strawberry scented one from The Body Shop. And Si by Giorgio Armani smells lovely and reminds me of my mum which is nice. Also Eccentric from Victoria Secret smells heavenly.
13. Tea or Coffee?
Coffee would be my first choice most of the time but tea never fails to cheer me up when I’m down. So I want to say both. But I think I’d find it harder to live without coffee than tea.
14. What would you name your children?
I haven’t really thought about it. I’d maybe say Alistar, Belle, Luna, or Tom? I’m sure I’ll find more names that I like though in the future.
15. What sports do you/have you played?
I’m not a massive fan of sports to be honest but I enjoy swimming, diving, biking and badminton occasionally. I went through a very sporty stage where I was in the Basketball, Football, Netball and Badminton team. Ah the days when I had energy and was productive. How far ago they feel. I also LOVE dancing but I mainly do it when I’m home alone as I’m possibly the least coordinated person on Earth. I can’t even run without it looking like I’m on some form of recreational drug.
16. What is your favourite book?
Reasons To Stay Alive by Matt Haig. Matt is a brilliant writer and a lovely guy. I met him a few weeks back. It was a privilege. There are very few people that I feel comfortable around from the get go, but he was one of them. In this book he talks about mental heath. It’s incredibly moving and always makes me feel incredibly lucky to be alive, even though I don’t always feel that way. If you don’t know him, check his work out, follow him on twitter etc etc. (@matthaig1) He also writes novels and I’m currently reading his latest, ‘How to Stop Time’ It’s shaping up to be extraordinary. (Have I sold him enough yet?)
17. Who are some of your favourite YouTubers?
I have many, many, many of those. I shall reel off a list. Amy Ordman, The Bakeey, Chris Klemens, Alexis G. Zall, Rose Ellen Dix, TheRoxetera, WiseHufflepuff, Hannah Witton, emmablackery, BriaAndChrissy, Cammie Scott, LukeIsNotSexy, UnsolicitedProject, JaackMaate, Ash Hardell, Banana Warrior Princess, James Aspey, nowthisisliving, The Vegan Activist, doddleoddle, Stef Sanjati, TheRealAlexBertie, MissFenderr, MilesChronicles, Ally Hills, Kristina Schiano, Vegan Geezer, Evan Edinger, Tessa Netting, Rob Chapman, Mayin Bialik, MyHarto, Lucy Moon, Savannah Brown, Jake Edwards and Alien in a Box.
Note: I am also subscribed to various BuzzFeed channels, various band accounts, Watch Mojo, TheEllenShow, The Graham Norton Show, Pottermore and other YouTubers that I’m not a fan of as such, their channels and topics just interest me.
18. What is your favourite movie?
Ahh. How am I supposed to choose?! I am such a movie nerd. Okay. My top 5 are Girl Interrupted, Fight Club, Sweeny Todd (the one with Johnny Depp), Pitch Perfect 2 and the live action Beauty and The Beast. (I would feel mean picking one and not all of the Harry Potter Movies.) I’m going to have to choose the live action Beauty and The Beast simply because it’s fun, uplifting and so beautifully made. (Also the soundtrack is heaven.)
19. Are you single or taken?
Single.
20. What’s your idea of an ideal first date?
Maybe coffee and a posh night out in London. Like a jazz bar and maybe a theatre performance. Honestly, I doubt that would ever happen, but I suppose a girl can dream. If I get to choose who the date is with could I opt for Anna Kendrick? Kind regards.
21. How many boyfriends/girlfriends have you had?
Excluding my primary school boyfriend, 4. There was someone I met in hospital, someone I met at school, someone I met online through a mutual friend, someone that lives round the corner from me.
22. Favourite memory from childhood?
Erm... I’m sure there’s something... Well I do always miss being young and innocent and waking up early and walking to school with my parents. The birds would tweet and the sun would shine and I’d have lovely chats with the teachers and my childminder. And my dad would pick me up and we’d bike home and I would watch 64 Zoo Lane and eat Ice Cream. Ah the good old days. Ooh and Christmases and trips to Cornwall. Not gonna lie I still enjoy all of this stuff. I guess childhood wasn’t too bad. Well, for the first 7 years at least.
23. Do you speak any other languages and how well?
I don’t. I can do the odd phrase in Spanish, Italian, Greek, French, German and Japanese at a push. I won and award for my French around 5 years back. But I’ve slept a lot since then so I don’t remember all that much. Also I had a terrible French teacher a few years back who put me off the subject for life. Let’s just say she wasn’t my biggest fan.
24. Do you have any siblings?
I have a step sister. But that’s all. She’s pretty amazing though so. Also she’s currently living in Japan which means I get cool stuff because it turns out that Japan are way ahead the UK in creating top notch backpacks.
25. How would you describe your fashion sense?
Band merch/Harry Potter tees, jeans and hoodies, pretty much. I also own the odd flannel. Doc Martens, Converse and Vans are the footwear of choice. Beanies are pretty cool too. For colder days denim jackets and ‘leather’ jackets are my jam. So basically the casual lesbian look is my style. Way to fit the stereotype, Bri.
26. What is your favourite restaurant?
Okay, I have three. YoSushi, Handmade Burger Company and Bella Italia. All three have amazing vegan options. Also they all hold really happy memories for me.
27. What are some of your favourite TV shows?
Ooh, I like quite a few. My number one would have to be The Big Bang Theory. I also love Sherlock, Orange is The New Black, Miranda, 13 Reasons Why and Stranger Things.
28. PC or Mac?
Mac all the way. I have nothing against PC but I recently invested in a mac and it is my life. I find it easier to use and I much prefer the layout.
29. What phone do you have?
I have an Iphone 6S in rose gold. (With a really cute cat case, just saying.)
30. What is one of your bad habits?
Biting my nails. I’ve done it for my whole life and I can’t, nor do I have any intention to stop.
That’s all for today, thanks so much for reading! I’m definitely going to try and post much more often from now on.
Lots of love, Briony.

Present and Future Generations Please Listen
Dear Present and Future generations I have come today to bring you some information you may or may not know. Usually I do not do things like this , but I can not sit back and let what is happening happen without at least trying to make a difference. So here it goes… Most of you will see in your homes and homes of your friends, family and others boxes with moving pictures… You will soon realize that the people your around will spend most of their time watching these screens or other devices with screens. Be careful unless you want to become cattle. These devices are used by the social elites and rich ruling class to achieve three goals which I will give some insight into. The first goal is to distract you. The TV is a great invention for these ruling classes since they can keep millions of people distracted at a time locked into a virtual reality which in turn will guarantee that you do not pay attention to the real world, which will guarantee that you never turn your gaze inward or queation what happens beyond the glow of a screen. These distractions will give the ruling elites the opportunity to exploit you, control your lives and mold you into exactly what they want you to be… SHEEP! The second goal Is to misinform you. Through movies, news and various media they will give you a fake veiw of the world you live in. They will give you more and more distractions by offering you new shiny toys the next great cell-phone the next great computer the next great virtual reality these will be programmed to be the most important items to own. Why do you think almost every person on this planet owns a cellphone it’s much easier if you hang the number plate around your neck by choice than by force and if you can make that number plate fashionable well why not? Make it more and more shiny until the number plate doesn’t even look like one anymore and it’s this season’s must have item or gift. The elites the rich even the government you pledge and follow will use these outlets to distract you and paint an unrealistic vision of life and the world around you. By using propaganda and misinformation they will turn you into an ignorant submissive citizen unable to comprehend the world around you and be unaware of his condition as a slave. The TV and other media sources are used to implant in your mind values, comeplexs and aspirations that will turn you into a superficial human being through the TV and the media you will be programmed like a robot to benifet the elites. You will be persuaded to spend your wealth on things you do not need ,you will be braiswashed to feel unhappy with your self so that you will spend your whole life looking into a mirror of an unrealistic image. You will have implanted needs that will keep you focused on irrelevant things that mean nothing in the scheme of the entire world. Be wary of what you hear as we said before the elites will use lies, propaganda and false terror attacks to keep the masses paralyzed in fear constantly reminded that only by following the flag will you be safe. I use the word follow because that is what most of us have become a slave a follower to our elites behind the flag. Truly ask yourself when was the last time you made a real important decision that affected your life based solely on information that didn’t come from a commercial, a political broadcast, a stockmarket graph? You make decisions everyday thinking they are your own and not influenced in this way and the elites have it set up this way from the moment your born it is implanted in each generation before to pass on to the next using the one unquestionable source of learning you spend most of your lives around …your parents. Our parents teach us everything and since they themselves were implanted with this misinformation and subterfuge they unknowingly pass and teach it on to their children, this misinformation is also passed to every living person by design so even if your parents were bad you will still aquire this same misinformation through other outlets and adults ensuring no one slips through the cracks every parent and adult out there does this thinking no more about it than you would of going and picking up something for lunch because it’s all hidden behind a fog of lies. So round and round it goes. The lies and propaganda will also be used to implant in your mind hatred and mistrust of others even people you will never see based on nothing more than supposed “true” information from our elites behind the flag or the elites in general. Stop for one second and think. Have you actually met any of these people that your told to hate and mistrust? And if you have were they all the same as the ones who are actually bad? The elites would have you believe that one small percent of a culture represents 100% of the culture there are bad people In every culture. White people have the KKK crowd but that percent is small compared to the rest who don’t believe that way. Does that 1% make every white person bad? The African Americans are stereotyped to join gangs and sell drugs even if some do this does that 1% make all African Americans bad? The answer is simple “NO!” but the elites would have you believe yes so that we will continue to fight eachother over our differences. Everything from skin color to religious belief the elites want us to continue to fight so they can exploit us while we never notice it because we are too busy fighting each other over our differences that instead of seprating should bring us together unified against those who would braiwash us and herd us and make us ignorant sheep so unable to think for ourselves that we have no other alternative except to bow to the men and women behind the flag. In being apathetic as we have… We have been molded into what any government elitist society wants…. Well behaved puppets who dance and sing at every string pulled by those we are told to trust and put our faith in every day. However our youth suffers the worst under the elites. They are told who and what they are before they even get the damn chance to form an opinion…we have videogames that glorify war and combat, targeting impressionable minds. Persuading through CGI explosions and patriotism icons that joining your military is your best option for the future. ***THIS IS IN NO WAY A JAB AT THE MILITARY*** I respect our men and women in uniform but I do not respect the government that sends them off to die in foreign lands under the guise of protecting us from terrorist. When all it is, is a war to get oil or cement more land to build bases on to complete some misguided mission of controlling the whole world. On top of this we have websites dedicated to some of the most depraved things on earth… More than half is legally able to do this to boot and It’s so easy to access. Most television shows and magazines aimed at youth is by far the most crippling to them as well. These show and teach values and mindsets that are unrealistic and sometimes just outright idiotic YouTube is the biggest offender of this. The youth are taught that what you see on TV, youtube, magazines and what you get told on social media is THE way to be. The elites wish us to be anti social as well. This is no more present than in social media ironic as that is. Friends used to be other human beings you would hang out with after school or play in a garage band with or just good life long people you got along with well. Well the elites found a way. Now your friend is anyone they want to paint themselves as, your friend is a number on a screen, a list that you are convinced to increase, a number to show off just how popular you are. Your friend is halfway across the world in another country that you may even not be able to pronounce. Funny how the definition of friend has changed so rapidly I’m surprised kids today even know what real social interaction is beyond a keyboard and a screen or a controller. It’s all about distraction and being what everyone wants you to be. These are just a few things in our broken system of toothpicks on the ground. So I encourage you wake up! Make your own decisions not based on some game you play not, on some friend you have on a fake wall on a screen, not on some commercial you saw, not on some political speech you heard, but with your own mind your own thoughts your own god given free will. Don’t believe the media don’t believe the TV don’t believe the magazine don’t believe the lies and the propaganda and the misinformation. Stop idolizing others and idolize yourself. Look inward for truth and happiness that’s the only place your gonna find it. We can do better we can be better and we can live better! Just follow your heart and make your decisions based your own thoughts and truths not the ones force fed to you. We can be free to be our own individual person. I know I talked alot about media and screens perhaps you find it ironic and hypocritical that I use social media and screens, but I use it as one one would use a poision… in hopes of understanding it I will find a way to neutralize it. Develope an antidote if you will for disease that has warped the nations of this world and infected almost 99% of the populace. Please pass this message along. As it was passed to me!

A GREAT BIG WORLD – Say Something (Lyrics)
Say something, I’m giving up on you I’ll be the one, if you want me to Anywhere I would’ve followed you Say something, I’m giving up on youAnd I am feeling so small It was over my head I know nothing at allAnd I will stumble and fall I’m still learning to love Just starting to crawl
Say something, I’m giving up on you I’m sorry that I couldn’t get to you Anywhere I would’ve followed you Say something, I’m giving up on you
And I will swallow my pride You’re the one that I love And I’m saying goodbye
Say something, I’m giving up on you And I’m sorry that I couldn’t get to you And anywhere I would’ve followed you (Oh-oh-oh-oh) Say something, I’m giving up on you
Say something, I’m giving up on you Say something…
About Song
“Say Something” is a song by American indie pop duo A Great Big World from their debut album, Is There Anybody Out There? (2013). Written by the duo members—Ian Axel and Chad King—alongside Mike Campbell, the song was originally recorded by Axel for his solo album This Is the New Year (2011). It was later released as a single by the duo on September 3, 2013, by Epic Records. Following its usage on American reality TV show So You Think You Can Dance, the track gained attention from singer Christina Aguilera, who wanted to collaborate with A Great Big World on the song. Quickly afterwards, a re-recorded version of “Say Something” with Aguilera was released on November 4, 2013.
“Say Something” is a slow-tempo indie pop piano ballad which talks about a breakup, where the lover is implored to make a statement that could potentially reverse plans, with the singers expressing humility, sadness and regret. In the single version with Aguilera, she plays a ghost of the lover to whom the song is addressed as she traces the steps of the lead vocal. The song was praised by music critics for its powerful lyrics, the emotional composition and Aguilera’s vocal delivery. At the 57th Annual Grammy Awards, the song earned A Great Big World and Aguilera a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
“Say Something” did not sell significantly well until the version with Aguilera was available. It debuted at number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart after A Great Big World and Aguilera performed the song on The Voice. It eventually peaked at number four and has since sold over four million copies in the United States. It also topped the singles charts in Australia, Belgium, and Canada. A music video was released on November 19, 2013, featuring the trio singing as people “act out the heartbreaking lyrics.” To further promote “Say Something”, A Great Big World and Aguilera performed the track at the American Music Awards of 2013.
