He just you know..its not really obsessive but more of actual feelings. Blablabla, idc. This is for fun and to show my reasons to why I like a ship and not the other 😌
If you dont like Nuzi, fine. If you LOVE Stolitz, fine. Is okay, this is, again, personal opinion and kinda subjective, so dont take it as an attack please.
(This is super long, so I apologize for that)
So... lets talk about something else that makes a hug difference betweent these two ships. (This is gonna be long).
Respect and equality.
I think is kinda obvious, but just to be clear. What do I think is respect and equality in a relationship? That they both see each other as equals. They respect each others boundaries. They have basic empathy.
Oh, boy, this is gonna be fun...
Lets start with Nuzi! (Spoilers if you havent watch it!)
In ep 2, as I said in another post, N constantly ask Uzi if she is okay. But what I didnt mention is that, later, after a very traumatic experience, N tries to touch Uzi´s shoulder, but she backs up, looking scared, and N looks at her worried.
Then... Uzi asks a question that breaks him...
You can see on his face. That question got him. He understood that Uzi is scared of him, and has good reasons to be. So, without insisting, he just leaves, even if this makes him sad.
Next ep confirms what Im saying, with a brief flashback of this moment, and him saying that he and V cant interact with Worker drones because they are dangerous. All of this with sadness on his face.
N respects how Uzi feels, and even understands why she feels like this. Even when this makes him sad, he doesnt selfishly impose himself on her and respects Uzi´s boundaries.
N is not a bad person for feeling sad, because even when feeling like this, respects Uzi. Well, and the other Worker drones. But specially Uzi!
Damn, they only interact again by accident, because he goes back to stop V from murdering other worker drones, not because of Uzi. By this point, Uzi has calm down, but N doesnt know this. Actually, when they meet, there is a brief moment that I like and is this one:
When they see each other again, he aproaches her, and Uzi instinctively flinches, maybe because of the surprise, or because she is feeling akward because its been a while since they saw each other, and last time they spoke was... uh... well, you know.
But, anyway. It doesnt matter why, because N notices this, and stops. Uzi didnt need to say anything, he noticed her face and movement. N, not forgething last time, understands that she may still be scared and moves away from her.
They keep talking (akwardly) and when Uzi tells him that maybe something bad is gonna happen, N offers her help...
He says "could". Again, not forcing himself on her and just making an offer that Uzi can reject. N wants to respect Uzi and her feelings, even if it hurts him. Because he is a cinnamon roll. And, AGAIN, this obviously makes him sad, but that doesnt make him bad. We can understand why he feels like this.
Like Uzi, N has been alone, with V ignoring him, and J abusing him. Its not weird that N cares about Uzi so much.
And she cares too.
N turns back when Uzi clarifies that she is okay with him being close, even blushing.
And he finally hugs her when knowing that Uzi is okay with him being close.
Another moment is ep 4. Is not exactly the same, but is important for this post.
So, Uzi just did something... shockin. And runs off, because she is scared.
The other drones, including V and N, are shocked. V tries to go and kill Uzi, but N stops her, and says some interesting lines after V *lies* says that she is not afraid:
He is scared too. Uzi just did something very scary and weird. We can see it on his face too on that moment. The shock.
But still, N noticed how Uzi was scared too and thats why she run away. And stands by her side.
The "She is a kid, like us" line makes me think that N sees him and Uzi as equals, even if he is a Disasembly Drone and her a Worker drone. They are on the same level. Equals.
Later in the ep, we get the beautiful falling scene, where he tries to understand whats going on in her mind, and actually calms her down and makes Uzi feel less alone, by reasuring her that they will stick together.
But I talked about this moment in another post.
Buuuuuuut my absolute favourite moment that shows that they BOTH see each other in the same level, is this line from Uzi in ep 6, when Tessa says "dont date my robot":

... Do I even have to say anything? My girl Uzi is not being posesive, and even defends him when they treat him like and object.
Damn right he is, Uzi! Proud of you. Thats a green flag right there!
... you wanna know who is the opposite? Who is a red flag?
Lets get this quickly out of the way, because everyone, including the shipers, already know.
THE POWER IMBALANCE.
And no, not because Stolas has more powers than Blitzo. Is because both of them are not equals in any shape of form.
Stolas has literal power over Blitzo with that book. Stolas made the deal, and he decides when to get the book back, like in ep 5. And also HOW to get paid.
We all know how.
So, yeah, in that sense, they are not equals at all. But thats not all!
Obviously Stolas doesnt see Blitzo as an equal, and the same can be said for Blitzo.
Stolas treats him as a sex toy, and fetichizes him. He is basically a racist, calling him "my little imp" or "my impish little playting". Stolas also infantilizes him by talking to him on a baby voice, saying "he is cute when he is serious". Or calling Blitzo by a nickname he dislikes.
Stolas chooses a lot of the time to act in a sexual manner with Blitzo, even when having the oportunity to say something actually nice about him but he doesnt do it.
"Im calling the only man who can fuck me".
"Hello, my big dick Blitzy".
"Good luck to you all. Especially that sexy one there".
"Blitz, if your perfomance on stage is as good as it is in bed, you leave them breatles".
There isnt a moment where Stolas says something nice about Blitzo, only how sexy he is.
And yeah, he laughs at his joke. But thats it. He doesnt say anything nice to him. He could have said something like "I always found your jokes hilarious" or "they have bad taste on jokes, because yours are amazing. You get it.
From Blitzo, is super obvious that he doesnt see Stolas as an equal either. The alucination just confirms it. And he even says that Stolas only wants him to feel the dick of someone from a lower class (and he is right). He sees Stolas as someone who is more powerful and over him.
Now, about boundaries. Stolas doesnt respect Blitzo´s boundaries. He steps on them. Even when Blitzo is looking at him annoyed, Stolas is just like "hehe, how cute" not taking him seriously, and keeps filtring with him.
EVEN WHEN BLITZO IS HAVING A FUCKIN PANICK ATTACK, HE IS COMPARING BLITZO´S HABILITIES WITH HIS SEXUAL ONES.
And never forget that Stolas did the full moon agrement. In a life or death situation.
Or lets not forget how in ep 6, after saving their lifes he asked for a reward to Blitzo. ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
"Oh, but he only asked!" Yeah, and is not like Blitzo cant say no, because Stolas has the book he needs for his job, and Stolas can take from him anytime, like in ep 5 where he took the book before the full moon.
Mhm, sure.
And now, one last thing. Remember what I said that being sad isnt the problem? Well, how does Stolas react when Blitzo lets it clear that their relationship is only sexual because STOLAS made it that way, and that he cant pretend it is otherwise?

His reaction feels more like "Oh, poor me! The man I love doesnt love me back, oh, poor me, Im so alone!" What about Blitzo, uh? How do you think he feels being used as a toy, uh?
But you dont care, you keep sexualizing him when you can. And you only are giving him the Asmodeus crystal because you cant have what you want, that is a real romantic relationship.

the reason for bananaz is because just like her and felix, its very rare to see one without the other!! bang and kiana tg,,, chan was the first friend kiana made at JYP and she was also new to korea (sort of) so he helped her a lot!! hes the reason she decided to continue song writing and eventually he helped her start producing some songs during trainee days too. a lot of the songs she wrote during predebut ended up being fixed a little and turned into songs for other groups. she has a HUGEE folder on chans computer filled with songs, bc shes too lazy to get her own😭(chans been begging her to leave his computer alone or at least let him get her one) no matter how much chan cares for kiana, she still gives him gray hairs when shes teasing him with seungmin.. cross that, when shes being her in general. she never listens to him which often causes her to get hurt or just annoy him😭 but he still loves our girl <3

I also don't get why would ppl say he debunked "jm" as jimin when he actually never talked about it? Like he only talked about his J and ARMY tattoe so how does that debunk "JM" ? I thought about this yooseven oneshot (based on that part in seven route where he was like our friendship is temporary and everything is a lie except there is a twist)
So in the route seven apologises but he doesnt explain himself much. So here seven apologises like that in the gc and yoosung goes"is this apology temporary too...." and leaves the gc and blocks seven.
Seven was shocked because it was an unexpected reaction so he frantically called yoosung on his phone but yoosung cuts the call and blocks his number on the phone.
Seven was realising the extent he had hurt yoosung with that behaviour of his and felt more bad because he did not have really bad intention to do so but he also cannot explain things to yoosung properly
On the other side yoosung had multiple breakdowns over the whole situation because he feels betrayed. He really considered seven as his bestfriend so it hurts him alot and also his mind is often going "why would he even do that" and because he does not know what kind of reasoning seven has behind his actions he has a hard time trusting seven. Like does seven actually care for him or its another temporary lie.
To shake off his feelings he plays his LOLOL and the game also has a chat feature like Genshin Impact does so HackerGod (who as we know is seven) dms yoosung revealing his true identity and again apologising to him and that he genuinely sorry. It angers yoosung and he is like why did you even say that everything is temporary between us seven goes " i wish i can explain but i really cannot but I am genuinely sorry for my actions. " Yoosung ends up blocking HackerGod and shutting down his computer and gets another breakdown because of that. He goes to sleep but he has a hard time falling asleep so he pours himself a drink to sleep well.
He does not get out of his house for few days because that whole ordeal really worsened his depression and he also feels too tired to go to the rfa gc and also did not touch LOLOL either. But after few days he was like a little motivated to push himself from like rotting away (idk how to describe it) so he takes a long bath and gets dressed to get out for a walk.
He goes to a grocery store and buys himself some snacks. He gets some cup ramen cup tteokbokki (idk if i spelled it correctly) some choco milk. He was about to buy some HBD chips but HBD chips reminded him of seven and it hurt him even more. He was about to buy some soda cans but in the drinks section he sees seven. Seven looks at him apologetically and yoosung glares at him turns back and walks quickly to the billing sections quickly pays for his things and walks out of the store. Seven leaves his stuff and goes out empty handed to follow yoosung
A couple of blocks away from that store seven catches upto yoosung and stops him and again begs for his forgiveness. Yoosung then is like "then why did you do that" and explains how much of betrayal he feels how he wishes to know why seven did what he did and because he doesnt know seven's reasoning he has a hard time trusting seven and finally tells seven to stop following him and was about to cross the road but seven quickly pulls yoosung back to the sidewalk and they accidentally embrace.
Yoosung turns his head and sees that a speeding bus just passed. He then turns back and sees seven hugging him sobbing and again begging for forgiveness but this time he was giving some reasoning like "i do a dangerous job i was really afraid that you would get hurt because of me but i still ended up hurting you". It made yoosung tear up and he returns the hug and rests his head on seven's shoulder crying and the story ends here.
I know this is very out of character for yoosung because he wont hold any grudge against seven or any rfa member for that matter (v being an exception but we know its a lot more serious cas). Its just me projecting myself a little onto him and playing around a possible outcome. I have nothing against seven i genuinely love him very much, its just that Im far less nice and a lot more selfish than yoosung and if i were him I would have a hard time forgiving seven (moreso with my own baggage). I know I should forgive others if they act out towards me especially if they have mental health issues or are stressed but, I sometimes feel tired of often being on the receiving end, because of my own set of issues its a hard job to not let myself get affected by these incidents and take it personally even if I am well aware that the other person does not mean to hurt me. I feel like a bad person for feeling hurt and angry at the persons who had been in similar position as seven in this case. But I still feel the anger. And thats why to channelise these feelings I often face because of my parents or sometimes remembering an ex friend who has deeply hurt me by her actions I had the idea to write this - Submission
Hey, there is nothing wrong with feeling angry or hurt by other people's actions. Your feelings and emotions are valid, whatever they are, and you shouldn't feel guilty for experiencing them! Of course, other people might have reasons behind their actions, but that doesn't take away the effect they have on you. At the end of the day, even if someone was having a hard time and lashed out at their friend because of that - they still lashed out. Truth is, intention is one thing, while action is a completely another.
You shouldn't feel bad or guilty for not wanting to forgive those who hurt you. It is a perfectly normal feeling to have. Forgiveness is something very personal and individual to every person. Just because someone chose to forgive - doesn't make them a better person from you. It's a matter of what is right for you. If you were the one hurt, it is only up to you to decide what is the right choice to give you closure. No one else. It is not selfish, and it is not wrong. Putting your feelings first is not a bad thing. Choosing to not forgive can give you just as much closure as forgiveness, you know. Forgiveness is not absolute. It's a matter of soothing your own heart. And, sometimes, forgiveness simply cannot do that for you. And that's okay. Forcing yourself to forgive and chastising yourself for feeling angry is not good for you. Your feelings are valid, and it's important to allow yourself to experience them.
Anger is not a bad emotion. It's another part of being human. It can be hard to accept that when we are told over and over that forgiveness is the only 'right' path to being a good person, I know. Personally, I will also always struggle with accepting my anger. But, either way, it's important to acknowledge it and embrace it. Forgiveness is personal. And you can bounce between the two as well. Sometimes you don't know whether or not you want to forgive. And that's okay, too.
Really, there is no one 'right' way to forgiveness. Just treat your heart gently and don't be hard on yourself for experiencing the emotions your heart was meant to feel.
That said, I do think this little scenario you wrote out is sweet, in a somewhat bittersweet way. While, yes, Yoosung does forgive Saeyoung pretty quickly in game, you gotta remember that we are confined to those 11 days of gameplay! Things have to move fast, or else we'll end up with the Ssum issue. So, it is very much possible to picture Yoosung having to struggle with Seven's actions on a deeper level, as well as for a longer period.
Like I already said, it doesn't really matter if Seven was having a hard time himself. At the end of the day, he still said a very painful and horrible thing to someone who considers him a very close friend. That's all that really matters. Yoosung has every right to feel betrayed, hurt, and angry at him. And I thing Seven will understand that. I also really love the hug you wrote out. Something about two characters just holding each other and communicating through touch after such a stressful period that gets me emotional.
Seven will do the right thing. He will apologize, and, if Yoosung wants, he will explain the reasonings behind his actions to give him closure. But only if Yoosung wants. Because Seven understands first hand what's it's like to struggle with feeling hurt, confused, and betrayed by someone you thought you knew. He's ashamed to admit that. But, he's not going to run from his mistakes. Because he wants to make things right.

i loovee love love analyses and essays and CONVERSATIONS about the life series, so coming across your blog has been a twist of the fate strings. then discovering you have a literal analyses tag oml... i actually clutched my chest and leaned back to breathe. i will be doing some heavy reading, hopefully. anyway, this is something i talked about in a convo a couple weeks back ^_^

I also find it funny how ren shot scar... didn't scar shoot ren in third life.. I love the ren vs scar and martyn vs grian thing. like,, the instinct is to go, oh, grian vs ren surely, but no! the dichotomy is so much more interesting the other way!
both ren and scar could be described with passion. they are both very passionate. ren is a bit ostentatious and loves the flaire and the display, but he does care about his people, he did love the people of dogwarts. impulse's betrayal did hurt.
and scar.... well scar is passionate in every other way. he loves the craft and the creative and doesnt fall short in any way there. in a sense, he also enjoys the delivery for its flaire, but it's for gain, its for the con, for the benefit. it benefits him and he will tap into charisma to achieve that. and with relations, well. he did love his people, and his 'people' was grian. people mean everything to him even if he doesn't want to make it seem that way. sure people know that he thrives off of interaction, but he lives off of it, it's not just a part of his game, it's a part of him. he keeps up the facade throughout third life, but we know how terribly isolation impacted him in last life.
so his people in third life was grian, and that was enough until the end. then it got tricky and confusing, and suddenly it seemed he may have gotten too attached, that maybe it was obvious he had gotten attached, and he regretted his next decision --- to betray grian.
and then martyn and grian, of course we have the contrast of knowledge. both of them have something to do with the divine and both were there in evo. watcher vs listener, or whatever they may be. both of them weren't the leaders of their supposed factions (scar was technically the forefront considering grian was there because of the deal, but they were equals in many other ways, unless you want to lean into the discussion that grian was the aggressor..., of sorts, of monopoly mountain, and he just used scar's reputation as a scapegoat. it's certainly a delicious outlook to chew on.)
both grian and martyn could've gone down very different paths if they'd chosen someone else. grian wouldve allied with someone else if not for the prank gone wrong. martyn wasn't decisive on ren till a few episodes in, he was still considering building a separate base on a mountaintop, he was this close to allying with jimmy, but jimmy already had scott. they had those paths in front of them, whereas scar was always going to end up in the desert, and ren was always going to end up in his enchanted fortress atop the hill.
but those stories would've played so different without grian, without martyn. scar mightve stayed alone if no one would've spared him their attention, especially considering he was yellow; ren would've... still established renchanting, of course, but the other contracts he had with etho and impulse and the like were nowhere like the one with martyn. dogwarts was born because of martyn's presence, and there's no doubt about it to me. he wouldn't have become the server's powerhouse, he would've instead ended up like the wet dog (aff) he always ends up as in other series, where he doesn't have martyn at his side. martyn was also indebted to ren, albeit not as strongly as grian to scar, considering he technically used ren's services before they were ready and had to repay him somehow. except he chose to stay. he explicitly told ren why he wanted to stay. grian kept reminding scar he'd leave as soon as he could, he wouldn't stay for him. he even said it the day of the 3-kill trap, if i remember correctly! as though he didn't relish every moment.
both grian and martyn were bound to another by the means of a deal.
and whereas it was a business partnership that became a loyal union for dogwarts, it was a soul pact that became a business alliance for the sandlands, at least that's what they want you to believe.
monopoly mountain and dogwarts were always destined to clash.
it was there from the first death till the very last, from the first episode and the first pact, to the final consequence of these contracts upon their deaths; loyal or betrayed, shoulder to shoudler or fist to fist
YEAHH THIS IS EPIC hope you have fun reading my analysis tag!!! i’m always happy to talk abt any season but usually with my own stuff i’m either talking about general themes in the life series (my fave thing ever ^_^) or last life specifically. 3rd life is my favourite of the three but last life has my brain in a chokehold anyway
and yeah god i absolutely LOVE grian-martyn and scar-ren parallels. grian martyn stuff makes me go crazy insane to the point that ive never wanted one of my posts to get notes more than that 5 second clip because i was being deranged about it at least a year ago and it’s vindicating getting other people to understand it. im putting them in my mouth. honestly though i think both grian and martyn may have ended up alone if not for their respective chance encounters - both of them played the early game very much alone instead of grouping up. grian never expresses that that’s what he wanted to do because he gets waylaid by scar so fast, but you can kinda see it in how he immediately builds a base alone (in a location that is not ideal for more than one person living there) and how he goes for singlehandedly taking resources like the villagers rather than teaming up with anyone. actually what i think would have happened is the blue sword boys would have seen more relevance (by which i mean martyn and bigb would not have allowed grian to forget) i don’t think they would have actually all based together right from the start but i could see them being an alliance. I miss the blue sword boys a normal amount <3
i think another similarity between them is both of them actually intended to leave. martyn wanted to betray ren but ooc the timing didn’t work out, which i choose to interpret as martyn - being as capable and independent as he is - trying to convince himself he should save himself and leave ren, but he just… can’t bring himself to do anything but die for his king, he can’t go through with it. grian obviously voices his intention to leave from the start but it’s the urge to stay that he has to fight and my god does he lose that fight. before he knows it he’s a yellow life asking scar to betray everyone with him because their only true allegiance is to each other.
scar and ren on the other hand are really interesting because yeah as you said, business partnerships and loyalty. that’s really their respective driving forces. scar’s a chaotic player, his friendship can be bought as easily as his betrayal. his loyalty is literally as worthless as a piece of paper. ren on the other hand is straight laced and the very thought of betraying an ally physically pains him, he won’t even steal. they’re polar opposites. i looove seeing them juxtaposed against each other bc they’re the greatest opposites in the whole of the life series i think and that’s what makes it so natural that they were the main conflict of 3L! they’re everything <3 they did in fact kill each other in 3L/LL, and also fun bonus in DL their soulmates both cheated on them with the other’s soulmate and both of them were indirectly killed by grian. ^_^
